[+] 10.0 Good product for the price!
First the bad news; it comes with no instructions at all so you pretty much have to quess what the LEDs are telling you but it's not that hard to figure out. So far I've only used one of the batteries and it has performed great. I would recomend this product.

[+] 2.0 Terrible product. Buy the Kodak brand instead.
I used to have a Kodak brand charger with the battery that I used with my older Kodak Z-model 6.1MP camera. That was a great charger, and the Kodak battery packs would last me all day and then some. Then I upgraded to the Z810IS model and had to get new batteries that were compatible. I made the mistake of buying the cheapo versions to save money. What a waste! The charger is unreliable and the KLIC-8000 compatible batteries have a terrible charge life. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on the Kodak brand stuff. My cheapo charger is now in the garbage and I'm about to buy what I should have in the first place.

[+] 2.0 DON'T BUY IT!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!

Ordered a simple battery charger for a digital camera battery, and although it had a retractable plug to plug it directly into a wall outlet, there was also a power jack on it for other power options.

I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER BULKY CHARGER/TRANSFORMER STICKING OUT OF A WALL OUTLET!

I wanted the cord to make this a 'table top' charger, so I could use a regular plug to power this charger. I also wanted provisions to plug this charger into a cigarette charger, to make it a true travel charger. A feature this company offers with numerous other such chargers.

Back and forth, back and forth with e-mails requesting these 'cords'. After some time I received a package from them with 'another battery charger' in it! NO CORDS!

It's kind-of obvious from contacts with people from this 'so-called' company, can't understand, or communicate in English!

Numerous additional e-mails regarding why I was sent another charger, and not the cords I requested went completely unanswered!

All the products offered by eforcity are cheap imports, with no one at there knowing anything about what they're even selling, other than vague discriptions given to them by overseas knock-off artists.

They show 'name brand' products on their web site, but click on them, and you will only find third party, import accessories for those products!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

[+] 2.0 not worth the money
I bought this charger back in July, I was able to charge my batteries a grand total of 5 times before it would no longer charge. The Status light comes on but it won't charge. Don't waste your money; I'm going to buy the one from Kodak like I should have the first time.

[+] 4.0 Poor performance...
Great price, poor value. As other stated, no instructions. What do the lights on the charger mean? Am using in a Kodak 712, but was only able to use it for 30 pics today. Was it fully charged? How can I tell? Glad I took the spare battery with me.

[+] 8.0 Nice product/price but needed minor adjustment
I did a lot of on-line shopping before purchase, and this seemed to be an excellent value, and the comments were good as well. When it arrived, I wasn't sure it was working (when it is, the green charge light does come on!) After re-reading all of the comments praising this charger, I took a pair of tweezers and very carefully adjusted the contact a little up and further out. It now passes the battery case, makes contact--the green light is on during charge and everything's fine. Glad I made this choice.

[+] 6.0 Untrustworthy title
The item works pretty good but I'm not satisfy with a seller that lies about their products. The title says 2X Battery + Charger but I only received 1 battery and charger.

[+] 8.0 Great for the price!
I bought this 2 batteries + charger bundle like a month ago (a lot cheaper than the current price, around $14+ shipping), and so far it's worked great for my Kodak z712 IS. Each battery lasts around 180-200 pictures and at least one downloading-to-the-pc round (I have disabled the quick review function and take as many pictures without flash as I can). I only give this product 4 stars 'cause it won't bring any instructions manual, so at first you don't know what every light means (although one of them says status and the other says charge, you just don't know how they should behave) or for how long you should charge the batteries. After a few uses I've figured it out, the green charge light turns off when the charge is completed, the red 'status' light stays on all the time; I usually let the batteries charge for about six to eight hours, I get great results. Still don't know if the charger has a mechanism to avoid overcharge, I guess it does, batteries are never hot. For the price, you can't beat this product.

[+] 2.0 Did not work in My Camera (Kodak Z812)
Did not work in my Kodak Z812 although it was listed as a camera compatible with this battery. Waste of money for me.

[+] 8.0 Charger problems - Fix
I had problems with the charger not charging the batteries as well. Only the red light glowed and the batteries never charged.

I found that the electrode that should contact the round metal portion of the bottom of the battery was not making contact. I was able to grab it with a pair of needle-nose pliers and bend it out a little so that it could make contact with the battery. When the charger is working the red light will be on and the green light will also glow. When the battery is charged the green light will go out and only the red light will still be glowing.

It seems like an easy fix for such major problem. It should have been made with a stronger piece of metal in there to begin with.

[+] 4.0 Three Strikes You're Out
I ordered the batteries and charger at the end of June - and received them a little over a week later. As others have said, they come with no directions. The charge light on the charger didn't light and the status light constantly stayed red - so I kept the batteries in the charger for at least a day each - neither battery worked in my Kodak Z812 IS. Contacted Customer Service via e-mail (they are very nice and respond quickly on weekdays) and they sent out a second set of batteries. I did the same thing - only this time the charge light on the charger was green when I put the battery in - but I got the same result - neither battery worked in the camera. I contacted Customer Service again - suggested it was possibly the charger and not the batteries that wasn't working - and they agreed. The next e-mail from them said they were processing a refund for the charger. I said I thought they should refund the entire price since nothing was working - and they did (excluding shipping). Eforcity did not require that I return the charger and batteries to them. The refund took about 10 calendar days to process. Once again, Customer Service was very helpful when I e-mailed them after a week to find out why the refund hadn't been processed. The entire process took a little over a month. So, I still don't know if the problem was with the batteries, the charger or both. Interestingly, the batteries fit very tightly in the camera - I had to use tweezers to get them out. I'm not sure if this is related to the problem or not. Either way, I still need a charger and batteries because this camera eats AAs! Update: Minutes after writing this review I got an e-mail from Eforcity that they were refunding my shipping - and suggested that I change my rating. When I e-mailed back that I would prefer batteries and a charger that worked over a refund they told me the chargers were out of stock so they had to offer the refund.

[+] 10.0 Screw Kodak and buy this replacement!
I have the Kodak Z712. Works well. Charges fast and batteries hold charge for decent amount of time.

Screw Kodak for charging so much for the batteries and charger (on thier site the set is well over $35). You think they could cut you a break on accessories such as these when you already shelled out all that money on the camera, right? Screw Kodak and buy this replacement!!!!

[+] 10.0 Charger / re-chargeable batteries....GREAT!
I bought this just before our vacation to California. I have the Kodak Z812IS which was eating through double AA batteries like crazy. As much as I love the camera, I was considering returning it just because of its battery issues. When I saw this product, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm very happy with the results. I bought the charger and an extra battery. So I now have 3 re-chargeable batteries. It holds it charge for at least 100 pictures if not more. Which is still not what I would expect, but I love the camera and the quality of the pictures. I don't blame this on the charger or the re-chargeable batteries...as it's obviously an issue with this type of camera. So I'm rating the charger high as well as the batteries!

[+] 10.0 great charger
This charger and batteries work great with my camera. I only needed to use one battery for my vacation pictures and took over 150 shots.

[+] 2.0 No results
None of the two batteries charged with the charger they came with, there were no directions on what the LEDs on the battery charger meant, and no online support information. The seller also tried to persuade me to eliminate my negative feedback and they would reimburse me either by refund or replacement. Since I took the review off a month ago, I still have not received either a refund or replacement. So now, the review goes back. The batteries are now serving as paper weights. Buyer beware!

[+] 6.0 Recharger for batteries
Although this product works fine, there were no instructions included in the box. The green light comes on when charging begins and the red light comes on when it is done charging which is backwards from other chargers I have used. The green light is barely visible.
All in all, the product works fine, just annoying that there were no directions2X Battery + Charger For KLIC-8000 Kodak Z612 Z712 Z812

Service and delivery were prompt and the item I orderd arrived in good condition. The description provided is actually what you receive. I would choose eforce city again without a concern
