3Pk LC-51 BLACK INK for Brother DCP-130C LC51BK (Purchased on 02/01/2010)
I can't really say how long the ink will last, because I haven't had it that long. I have printed a lot with it and have had no trouble. It looks good on the paper. The printer seems to like it. It went into its slot with no problem.

It works but the cartridge is different than the picture
It works with MFC-240, but the cartridge is solid black instead of the OEM clear color.

Bargain ink cartridge
The price point for the ink was right for my budget. The same ink cartridges in local retail stores costs three to four times more.
I have a Brother all in one printer/copier/fax and these cartridges fit perfectly. I use a lot more black ink because I seldom print/copy in color.

great and convenient
this was great for me. I have an older model printer. It does exactly what I want it to do, namely print. I have been having trouble finding ink for it. this was inexpensive and convenient. I would recommend this to anyone

Great Product - ignore the reviewer who threatens to hold the dealer liable
Great product!
One caveat - the plastic ink cartridge on the ink dispensing side doesn't look exactly like the OEM product - nozzles seem to be missing and different plastic extensions that are there on the Brother cartridge are not there on this clone. I don't know how it works or why it works even though it looks far different from the manufacturer version, but it works, and that's all that matters ultimately. So if you look at it and it seems that you were shipped the wrong product, don't worry, it works - slip it into the slot and you'll see(the non-ink dispensing sides of the cartridge match the manufacturer); so that's the key - as long as it fits into the slot like the OEM cartridge did.
The reviewer who says that he is going to hold the distributor liable for a defective product is out of line. You pay 1/10 of the cost of a Brother cartridge for this clone, so after 3 cartridges you've already paid for the printer, which is disposable like a bad razor shaver, and you'll break even very quickly. After that its pure profit. I'm not even sure that the ink cartridge will do damage to your printer, but if it does down the line, you'll still be way ahead. So why threaten to sue this dealer, who's providing you with a great deal and saving you tons of money?

Watch out for false representation!
You have to read down to the fine print in the Technical details to learn that these are Brother COMPATIBLE and not actual Brother cartridges. Other inks make that difference clear right in their main listing. If this messes up my printer, I'll expect the distributor to pay for the repair.
