[+] 10.0 Latest Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 and Buffalo AirStation WHR-G54S already use this attena
The "Buffalo Technology WHR-HP-G54 Wireless-G
MIMO Performace Router and Access Point" and "Buffalo AirStation WHR-G54S" sold by Amazon
includes the "Buffalo Technology 4bBi Detachable High Gain Omni Directional Antenna-WLE-AT-NDRHB (Black)"
as its attena, not the Older European Version: 2.0 dBi Rubber Duck Antenna that is shown in some
of the pictures.

So if you order the WHR-HP-G54 or the Buffalo AirStation WHR-G54S from Amazon,
do NOT bother to order the "optional" High Gain ... WLE-AT-NDRHB attena because it is the exact
same attena (the WHR-G54S one is white instead of black but I tried the black one and the performace
was exactly the same).

[+] 4.0 High gain wireless antenna
Can't really say I notice much improvement, but the cost was low so I guess you get what you pay for.

[+] 10.0 Good signal gain
While this antenna appears to be the same as the default antenna except for the black color, I was surprised to find that I did receive a decent signal gain. I experiemented with multiple routers in a WDS setup and found that the routers using this antenna over the default had a longer range and more signal strength. If your system is receiving a 20%-30% signal strength because of distand and/or obstacles, you should see a bump to 50%-60% strength with this antenna upgrade from my experience. Good Product.

[+] 10.0 Good Antenna
I got this antenna because the one I had on my buffalo access point broke. With this new antenna, I get much better network quality. I went up a couple of bars in signal strength. The replacement was as easy as screwing off the old broken antenna and attaching this new high-gain version.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

[+] 4.0 too fragile at connection
Not crazy about this...bumped the back of the computer and cracked the plastic coupler that screws to the back of the wifi card. The plastic around the coupler is cheaper than rest of antenna. I wouldn't recommend. it.

[+] 10.0 Works as expected
I added the Omni Directional Antenna to Buffalo's Ethernet Extender. I Noted an immediate improvement of approx 18% for overall signal.

Install is simple, and the item is inexpensive. For those who wish to improve their wireless connections, this is the best value for your dollar.
