Belkin F3U133-10 Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Cable (10 Feet)

I bought a 6' Belkin USB cord from a Big Box store to hook up my Akai MPK49 MIDI keyboard (piano). The cord allows two-way communication with a DAW program and powers the keyboard (no transformer needed). The Big Box cord did not sufficiently allow powering and the keyboard was quirky and then quit. The present Belkin cord bought from Amazon has worked fine however. So, yes, there is a difference between USB cords for some applications.

Was gald to receive this product. Was heard to tell online whether it was compatible with my printer. Easy to use, and the length of the cord was perfect.

Retail for this item isn't $34.99. New Egg sells it for $7.00. As for its performance ... who knows? I ordered it when I purchased a new HP all-in-one from Amazon. The printer's here, but the cable "is being prepared for shipment" (no word on when or if will ever ship) and Amazon advises that I can't cancel the shipment. Wanna bet?

With world class speed and ripping awesomeness, this USB 2.0 cable rocks my world. I connected it to my new Brother printer and found that I was immediately able to print. No special set-up required: I just plugged one end into my printer and the other into my computer and the deed was done. The color of this cable is very pleasing and has a sexy matte finish that all my friends are raving about. Overall this might be the best purchase of my lifetime and I look forward to years and years of joy using this outstanding USB 2.0 cable.

I wanted a high quality USB cable at a reasonable price and I wanted it fairly quickly. That's why I looked on Amazon. The cable works fine. The price was far less that I would have paid locally. As has been my experience with Amazon, the product got here very quickly.

I needed the cable because I wanted to rearrange furniture and move printer farther away from my PC. Radio Shack sells a similar cable for $36, compared with $6 for this equavalent cable at Amazon. I cannot imagine why anyone would pay six times as much.

I've bought Belkin products before and I have to say they are in the top ten list of companys to do business with in my opinion. I needed a longer cable to move my printer to a different location on our computer hutch here in the bedroom office. Ten feet turned out to be exactly the distance I needed with some slack left over. I now have a shorter spare cable to use for whatever else comes up in the future. Not much else to say. Either a cable works or it doesn't. It's 50/50 but more so these days things are good right out of the box. Belkin works for me. I hope you give them a place in your computer life too.

this works great with my wired printer, but that's so 2000's. it lasts too, for me its gone from Epson to HP to Canon back to HP and back to Canon again.

There were no problems with this cord. It worked right away. No "not recognized" stuff from Windows or anything. As soon as I plugged it in my device worked perfectly.

This USB cable exceeds my expectations. I got a much longer one that I ordered. The extra length is great for accessing my embmroidery machine without having to get my laptop so close. Love it!!!

This will work for any printer. It is long so that you are able to set the printer up several feet away from the computer if needed. It costs less than comparable usb cables.

This cable works perfectly and the dealer, Ace Photo Digital, gave a surprisingly low price ($6.07) plus FREE shipping! I ordered and paid for a 10' cable and they sent me a 16' cable - even better! It seems quite sturdy, both the cord insulation and the plug ends. I expect it will last longer than my previous 6' cable which cost $25 at Office Depot, was not delivered to me and was not worth it. I couldn't be happier.

What can I say, the USB was invented for plug n play and for a universal connector. This does what it was meant to do.

All I have to say is Radio Shack wanted 30 dollars for the same cable. Are you kidding me? I chose this vendor and even though I had to wait two more days for shipping it was well worth the wait.

Arrived quickly. Works fine with my HP Photosmart printer from 10 feet away. A comparable USB printer cable at Best Buy was listed for $36 before taxes.

This cable is pretty fast as far as data transfer is concerned. Its long enough to be used conveniently without moving stuff around.

It's a shame you have to buy cables when purchasing printers. Fine if you are junking one and buying another-the cables are universal. But I gave away the printer with the cable of course, so needed to buy a new cable for the replacement printer. This product was a better price through Amazon than at the retailer. I did have to wait a few days for delivery, but it was worth it so save a few bucks.

Excellent product at about 1/2 the price at Amazon than at Best Buy or other brick and mortor shops. I suggest that people never purchase computer supplies at Best Buy stores until they check out pricing at Amazon and others. They mark up these items significantly and charge very high prices.

I bought this cord for my HP all in one printer, and my roommate bought one for his Epson printer. Both our cords work perfectly with our printers BUT... They are white in color, where I expected them to be black, and they are not Belkin possibly. They do not come in a Belkin cover, and they do not say Belkin anywhere on the cord or the plastic cover it came in. Apart from this, you will be lucky to find such a long USB cord for so cheap. It's definitely worth it.

I ordered a USB cable and I received what I ordered. It is a genuine Belkin at an astounding price. It was very simply packaged. I would buy this one again any time I needed a USB cable.

I bought this cable to replace a parallel cable connection to a printer on my home computer. Because of the cabinet the PC and printer are in, I had to disconnect the printer cable anytime I needed to access the rear of the PC. With this 10 foot cable, that's no longer necessary, and I can now easily connect the printer to my office laptop, when working at home. I checked into buying a cable at a local Radio Shack, but would have spent nearly 3 times what it cost through Amazon.
Some add'l info: It's an older PC, but running Windows XP Pro, and an HP deskjet 970 series printer. The print drivers were found without any external media used. I just have to watch out for the default printer selection when printing from each application for the first time after the new connection. After I deleted the parallel printer configuration, the MS apps (Office) are defaulting to the document imaging printer definition.

I wasn't sure when I got this item it would not work on my lap top and that is what I purchased it for so took a chance and tried it on my desk top and it worked so just switched cords around.

Cord arrived fast and was much less expensive that buying at the local store..

hey, it's just a cable but i needed something long cuz i've got stuff all over my desk. the cables that often come with printers are so short! this one is long enough and gives me the freedom to connect my printer to my pc even though it's a few feet away.

The Belkin USB cord I received didn't work, but Amazons great customer service took care of my refund promptly.

This cable works perfectly and the cost was a fraction of what I've found at "brick & mortar" stores. The cable itself is relatively thin and flexible and easy to wind. This is a plus for me as I carry one with me in my laptop bag and am able to connect to printers "in the field."

I had been looking all over for an affordable new printer for my laptop... the one I was most impressed with was a PIXMA MP240, by Canon, sold at Best Buy. Where I would have been told to purchase a $40 USB cable to support the thing ! The printer alone was $69, with a 6 month warranty. So...........
I called Canon for more information on both printers. I was told the MP480 was the better deal....AND IT CERTAINLY WAS ! I got it for $69, free shipping plus a $7 (Canon approved) USB cord, that also came with free shipping ! Both these deals came thru Amazon !

This was the cable that was recommended for my HP printer. It does the job well but didn't really need 10 feet. The extra wraps up well.

I've used various USB cables and they are all the same quality, especially for printing. The transfer on most is at least forty times faster than you'll ever need it to be for that purpose. Just grab the cheapest one that matches your setup.

That said, Belkin's great. Their lifetime warranty's kind of useless unless you're just really careless with cable placement, but it's nice to have. The tip is easy to grip, but I don't really see the point of the design. Plenty of length for your average office setup.

One thing to note is that the color's not black... it's a dark grey, which is noticeably lighter than all black cables. Not a big deal, and it looks better than the off-white one that came with my printer, but I would've preferred black.
