This printer cord is a regular USB 2 printer cable. It works just you'd expect from a similar product anywhere. What makes it so outstanding is the price. Even with shipping it was less than half the cost of the exact same cable in the stores. Half! I am very pleased with it and other purchases I have made through Amazon. I always check Amazon first.

Works great with my Canon printer. At local stores all I could find

A very simple cable, pretty much plug and play, and it works; my other cable was too short to reach from my printer to my computer. No problems, and shipping was fast.

I saw a similar product at Best Buy for $49.99, and I bought it. Then I came home and saw this for much cheaper...so, I ordered this one instead and returned the other one to Best Buy. I definitely pays to shop around! Great buy.

My office has a small copier/printer in the other room that I use. The cable is the right length to reach into the next room and print. The price is very good for a cable of this length and quality.

Not much to say about this -- it works great, and the price is less than half what office supply stores charge. The cable comes tightly wound to save on space, so let it sit in the sun for a while to warm up, and it will unwind very easily with no kinks.

I never received this item. I tracked it to my town. It was delivered to the united states post office rather than to the address I supplied which was a UPS address. The post office would not deliver to the street address. So my package was not accepted. I have not received an email or phone call asking for a different address. I have not received a credit to my card as far as I know. Where is my stuff?!

This is the product what I am looking for. It provides the enough length to connect my fax/scan/print combo machine at the one end of the room to the desktop computer at the other end of the room. The price is also cheaper. I have not found any performance related problem.

The item is fine .... I guess it's Amazon! I had the printer within one week but the cable I had to have for the printer took more than two weeks! Got it on 7/22/08. I NEEDED a cable more than a week ago so I had to buy one from a local shop. Now I have the Amazon cable and don't need it! Amazing. What good is a printer if you don't have a cable. I am done with this Amazon crap .... never complained until now. Should have ......... dot dot dot

UCB cables are indispensable items in the 21st Century. You need them quickly? You get them quickly! Excellent product, excellent service, excellent speed.

This is great if you have a big desk and your USB cables aren't reaching, or even if you have to reach another room. I accidentally ordered two, but now I'm using them both, and they've both performed fine. At the price Amazon is selling them, they're definitely worth it!

When I shop, I always look for the Belkin name first.
They make good, strong products.

Does the job well but you must account for the cord being tightly wound in the package. I suppose this curl will work itself out over time but if you antcipate using the full length of the cord for your application, be advised that you will need to work out the curl.

Go to Staples and pay $40 for this, or order it online for $10 shipped.

I priced this cable at $27 at a local office supply store. I got it here for less than $9. Works well and was just what I needed.

I ordered a scanner with the requisite cord. The scanner was out of stock, but the cord was shipped. I was charged for the shipping to return the un-needed cord since I "no longer wanted the item". Not very happy with this.

This USB-2 cord was promoted as bundle purchase with the Canon scanner, implying that it was a necessary accessory. However, the scanner comes with a perfectly adequate USB-2 cord, this would only be needed if you had a need to have a scanner 16 feet from your computer - unlikely.

I purchased a second PC and I am not getting rid of my first one (just yet). Well, with 3 printers things got a little crowded around the desk. Having this 16 foot cable allowed me to move my printers: HP Photosmart 7550, HP Laserjet 2100 and Lexmark X5150, up to ten feet away from my PC. Everything works fine - just like it used to!

I used this to hook up a new Canon Laser printer to a new Dell Inspiron. Works great. I needed the extra length and this was one of the few I could find that had a longer cable.

What more can I say, it's a usb cable that works like it's supposed to.

I bought this cable primarily for a MIDI controller I bought at the same time. Unfortunately, it does not work with it for some reason. The cable does work with my printer/scanner and camera though. I'm stuck using the relatively short USB cable that came with the MIDI controller, which really limits where I can place it. The length of this cable is really handy, but I just wish it worked with the device that I bought it for.

It's a USB cable - can't really get too excited about it. However, it was a great price and it works great. Been using it non-stop for weeks now without a hitch or problem. I'd definitely buy another.

I am using this cable to connect a hub near bed for using my mouse and keyboard, having the pc in the front closet, works great.

This Belkin Cable came in brand new packaging in a timely manner. I was a little concerned that this length of cable may cause problems between computer and printer, yet I needed more than 10 feet to go the distance. I have been using it for about a month and so far - no problems.

For the price, this is a good cable. The extra length gives you the opportuning to not have your equipment taking up all of your immediate desk space. You can spread out a bit.

You can't beat the price on this bad boy! Try your local computer store and see what they're charging.

A USB cable is essentially a commodity. There is a minimum standard of acceptable quality, anything above that is unlikely to be beneficial.
This cable comfortable exceeds the minimum standard of acceptability, and it's price is a whole order of magnitude cheaper than it's competitors in stores.

I have several Belkin cables and they typically are high quality. They feel firm in the hand. I like the molded connectors since they seem to add durability. I purchased two of these 16 foot cables. One connects a Line 5 PodXT Live and the other a Yamaha MagicStomp Acoustic - both are guitar amp/effect modelers and both are connected to my computer which is on the other side of my studio compared to my guitars.

I'd buy again without reservation.

For a long and dirt cheap cable this is an excellent deal. I use my Mac mini as a print server for my Brother MFC-8220. This cable has been working fine for the last 3 months. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to anyone who needs a long USB cable.

Recently I got this 16 feet cable for my printer. I had no problems. First I had inhibitions of buying a longer cable as I read review that my computer won't detect the printer. But I faced no problem. For the money that I got for, I think it was nice deal.

Does what it should; well-constructed. Would recommend for anyone who needs extra length and prefers not to daisychain a bunch of shorter cables. Should get better performance with this one as it's a single length cable.
