Not much to say about a USB extension cable. I plugged my USB hub into it and even though the cable that connected the hub made the total run more than the maximum allowed 10 ft the connection still worked.

Their isn't much you can say about a cord, but this one is well made, and it does what it is supposed to do. I have a keyboard, a Yamaha MM6 that I wanted to attach to my computer, so I can record through Cubase LE. I started tripping over the standard size cord, so I added this Belkin extension, and now it is safely tucked away. Sure beats having to replace the USB port in the computer from abuse. Belkin makes nice stuff, and this is one of those things that they make well. Highly recommended.

Just a simple extension cable for your USB device. It does exactly that with no fuss. Sturdy, as most Belkin products are, and reliable.

The USB extension cable works great. I purchased four of these for my Xbox 360 and Rock Band and Guitar Hero games (I prefer the wired setup to the wireless). The cables work just as you would expect. No surprises here, but any surprise would mean bad things.

Needed a 10 ft extension for USB camera, and this was not only a good product, but was best price--$20 difference from Best Buy and Radio Shack.

It works just great... It's a pain having the longer cord, but I use this with my PS3, and I can sit on my sofa and play games still if the controller needs to be charged...

I received cables that I ordered in a timely manner. I'm using one of the cables to add 10 feet to an existing 6-foot cable of a Linksys wireless network adapter. The whole assembly operates as expected--that is, it operates well.

I bought a couple of these to extend a few things farther away from my computer to crate more space. It works as it was indented to do. I never had any problems with it, just plug and play and your all set. Whats more great about this product is that its cheap. I bought 2 of these extension cables for a total of $5.

Thank God for extention cords! I was having such a hard time everytime I had to plug one of my USB connections in. One connection, too many cords, and the connection is in the back of my computer. This is great. I leave it connected and right on top of my desk. Plenty long enough. You don't even know you're using an extension cord, it doesn't slow anything down at all. Excellent!

I just recieved this cable, and it works great. Like one of the other reviewers, I needed it to extend the USB hub for playing Rock Band on my XBOX360. This cable works great, and now there is no risk of people yanking the cord out of the console while 'rocking out'. I haven't tried it with any PC accessories, but as far as I can tell it maintains a solid connection without any issues.

For a price of less than $6 and a brand name like Belkin, you really can't go wrong with this cable if you are looking for a USB extension. Highly recommended!

I love this extension for my USB hub, I hated having my hub being connected to the computer and having to go through all that trouble just to plug a device in! Now with the extension, it is much more convenient.

I bought this cord to extend the usb hub for Rock Band on my xbox 360 instead of buying the controler extentions and it worked great and saved me from buying 3 cords.

I like mine it gives me just a little extra cord for my key board.

Works well, with no signal glitches. For an electronic device extension

The USB cable that comes with the ipod is way too short. I was afraid of it falling off my desk, so I bought this extender cable. Now I don't have to worry and have the flexibility to charge my ipod anywhere on my desk. Definitely a great product.

Belkin makes a great product. This is a great solution to those that need a usb extension cord. Belkin products are good and reliable. This is a good buy as well because if you walk into comp usa or best buy, you are going to spend up to 30.00 dollars for the same cord of a different make.

The Belkin USB Extension Cable is just what I needed. I recently bought a little SanDisk to move stuff from my PC to my IMAC. I couldn't reach the USB port on the PC without getting down on the floor and turning the thing around. Now that I have the Belkin USB Extension Cable, I just keep it plugged into the back of the PC with the other end taped to the top of my desk. When I need to transfer files, I just have to plug the little portable disk into the USB Extension Cable which now sits right next to the PC monitor. Works for me.

Belkin tends to make good cables that are over priced in the store. This is a pretty good deal.

Belkin cables and accessories have long been fairly priced and work when you get them. This cable is no exception.

I've purchased several Belkin cables and they always seem to be well made. Only problem with this particular cable is that it is not USB 2.0 which I didn't realize when I bought it. I had intended to attach it to another cable which I purchased at the same time. According to the instructions, it is not advisable.

The mistake was completely mine. I just didn't think to check for USB 2.0 when I purchased it.

I purchased this cable in order to access a printer on the other side of the room. I had trouble printing some documents, so I replaced the printer cable with a shorter USB cable and it worked fine. If you are considering purchasing this extension cord, double-check the manual to make sure that you are not exceeding the recommended length, as it really does make a difference.

I purchased this to extend the distance of my printer from my desk. As far as I can tell, this is a good product, nothing wrong with it -- it does the job of its intention. That said, ever since I started using it, my printer has not performed the same. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it misses a paragraph on the page. Then I read that most printers should NOT use an extension that makes the overall distance over ten feet. What I should have done, and what I am about to do, is purchase a ten foot cable that goes straight from my printer to my computer. I think this will work better than an extension.

Ok, let's clear up some confusion about this cable.

According to the Belkin site this cable actually works up to speeds of 480Mb/s, which means it's a High Speed USB compatible cable. You can search Belkin's website for part# F3U134-10 for the page. (For a brief discussion on USB standards see the next paragraph.) It's unfortunate that Amazon has an obsolete/inaccurate description, but for the price it's tough to beat.

Ok now for the promised discussion on USB standards. The USB 1.1 specification was incorporated into the USB 2.0 specification which has created a lot of confusion. USB 1.1 had a maximum transfer rate of 12Mb/s and USB 2.0 has a maximum of 480Mb/s. However USB 2.0 can run at the lower, 12Mb/s rate and still be called USB 2.0 (thus the confusion). Only if a device says "High Speed USB" can you be sure that it's capable of running at 480Mb/s.

This is not a USB 2.0 Extension, which you can get for a couple dollars more. Rather than buy this you might as well buy the USB 2.0 cord which will work with USB 1.0/1.1 but is 40 times faster for use with 2.0 components.

This cable did exactly what it was supposed to do and was super easy to use - can't ask for more than that.

I received my USB extension cable quick and it was just what I needed since my printer is on the opposite side of the desk from my computer. The price was so much better after looking around locally and comparing different web sites. I would difinitely do it again.
