Black & Decker VF100 Replacement Filter for Cyclonic Action DustBusters

They didn't have this in the store anymore, so I was delighted to find it online. It works perfectly.

We've used these filters in our DustBuster for several years. With a little care, such as occasionally blowing it out with air or tapping on sidewalk, they have very long life. Seem to catch everything from grit, to dog hair, to fine ashes without letting much blow through exhaust. Getting harder to find at local stores, so I bought two.

On impulse, I took apart our Dustbuster to clean it up. The filter was *way* past its prime--completely gunked up and not looking much better after some intensive cleaning/brushing. So I went on amazon, found the replacement part I needed, ordered it with amazon prime, and 2 days later put in the new filter. Amazing! I had forgotten how much power our Dustbuster actually had! Our Dustbuster is mainly used by the kids, about a once a week, since it's easier for them than the vacuum, and now it's so much quicker and more effective. I'm already using it more often as well!

It's always good to have a spare filter to keep the Dust Buster going while one cleans the filter that came with the purchase.

This was the most convenient way for me to purchase this filter. great price but shipping was way to high considering to amount of time it took to receive the filter (Almost 3 weeks).

Now that Black and Decker has changed the style of its hand vacs, it is becoming more difficult to find the filters for the older models. This filter can be found here online or you can go to Wal-mart and get the generic arm & hammer filters. They both fit well and you can continue to use our old vac. Although, I have to say the new cyclone vacs are better (ergonomic, retains battery charge longer, picks up everything, and easier to clean the chamber afterwards).

With kids my dustbuster gets constant use
and it definitely improved the power of the
dustbuster, cheerios get swept up alot faster now
and it saves me a few extra minutes. I don't have to
keep going over the same spot to pick them up. Replacing
filters keep everything running smooth, I've also replaced
my vacuum ones and don't forget the ones in your home heating/ac
system, everything requires maintenance....even the dustbuster....but
this filter does the trick....

Very good replacement filter, works as good as original, not flimsy, good quality like original filter.

Works good.

Only problem: Wish it had a permanent filter. A filter I cud wash/clean
and re-install.

All in all, a gud product.

Hard to find this discontinued model filter in retail stores. Worth ordering multiple pack online.

Via Amazon is a great way to get this filter, which usually is not carried in the hardware store. A clean filter makes the dustbuster so much more effective! I was amazed.
