BlackBerry Skin for BlackBerry Curve (Black)

Stretchy material makes it difficult to fish your phone out of your pocket quickly, but that's the point, I guess. Without the skin I know my new phone would have fallen on the ground by now. Fits perfectly. Got it for cents on the dollar from Amazon.

I am really pleased with this product. I was a little concerned about it catching on my jeans but I am happy to say that it's not the case. It fits perfectly and it's not hard to take off if you need to take the battery off to reset my BlackBerry or to change it. I'm glad I got this.

I ordered this for my Blackberry Curve 8530. I should've paid more attention to the pictures because it doesn't fit it properly. The cutouts aren't in the right place. If it did fit, I think I'd enjoy having it.

When I looked at the picture provided with this I thought I was getting a steal. But after 1 1/2 weeks wait, got it. It did not look like the photos provided what so ever. The molding looks like a crappy job the holes for the deicated buttons on the sides aren't even close to the buttons on the blackberry. I have no usb port and 3.5mm headjack. And the worst part is that there is no blackberry logo on the back! I'm never getting a single item with a single penny from Wireless central.

This cover looks and feels good. The only problem is that it picks up a lot of dust. Have to clean often.

Had this "skin" fit tighter, I would have given it 5 stars. It does fit nicely around the corners and back, the fronts sides are a bit sloppy but manageable. It does improve grip, it's stylish and doesn't obstruct screen protectors if you use them.

It is what it is worth. It was a good interim cover until I found one that I really liked.

It fit my BlackBerry Curve 8330 like a glove and has held up fine so far. I also like how it has the BlackBerry symbol as well as the word BlackBerry engraved on the back of it. This item is great if you don't want to spend the $10+ to buy one in a store.

Well, the glove does fit! I was tempted to buy other, more expensive skins here on amazon. I ended up purchasing this one over other skins. This particular skin did not make my blackberry feel bulky. Plus, it is easy to slide in your pocket. I noticed other skins are hard to slide in to your pockets since they have lots of grip and are kind of tacky. The design is very nice and simple. I like the fact that it is a minimalistic design. Other skins/cases look a little bit like an eye sore. Only problem I had was not being able to charge it on my cradle with the skin on. I had to make my own cut outs to make it work. I have to squeeze in to the cradle to make sure it comes in contact with the charging ends. Before I had to remove the skin but now with my own cutouts everything works. I am not sure how my blackberry would hold up with this case after dropping it. I know it will protect from usual wear and tear, thus keeping the resale value higher. I would recommend this skin to those who want minimalistic protection. With a screen protector you will be pretty much covered from scratches all over your phone.

I'm a fan of rubberized covers/skins and this one fits my Curve perfectly. It doesn't get in the way of side or top buttons and doesn't slide off. I actually came back and bought a second one for a family member. Can't beat the price.

The little indent above the light ripped after I removed the case from the phone. I've only had the film for a few months. Would recommend you buy stronger protection.

The skin is worth the money. I am very hard on phones and it has saved mine from being bea up on the back and sides. Well worth the money and fast shipping.

I hadn't planned on writing a review for the Blackberry Rubberized Skin but I dropped my phone the other day on pavement, to my horror. When I picked it up, there was nay a scratch on my phone. That, is the true test of how protective this skin really is.

I initially tried the included pouch, Otterbox case, and the Seidio snap-on case. For various reasons, I ended up with the rubberized skin as my "case" of choice. It's simple to remove and put on, has all the proper cutouts for the controls, camera and charging port. It provides a better grip than without it, but does pick up lint and debris. The dark grey version does not show as much lint as the black.

My only complaint is that even though the description states that it is compatible with the 8330 Curve, there is one part that really isn't for the Verizon 8330. The Verizon 8330 has the notification LED on the actual face, to the right of the ear speaker. The cutout for the LED however, is far above it. This makes it so that a piece of the top is exposed unnecessarily. The case functions the same but if you're wondering why there's a cutout when your LED is below it, now you know why.

I'm amazed that you can buy the actual Blackberry OEM skin for such a low cost on Amazon. Verizon sells these for much more in the stores. The skin is so useful and a great value, that whenever I need a free shipping filler, I plan on getting more of them in other colors. Great skin for my Verizon Blackberry 8330.

For the price you can't go wrong. This rubberized skin fits nice and snug over my BlackBerry 8300 and, while I don't feel it affords much protection from bumps or bruises, it does create a non-skid surface. Those reviewers who complained because it doesn't prevent skidding are nuts, because it does. And those who complained about it being flimsy and easily torn - duh, when you take it out of the package it is obvious that this needs to be handled with care so you just have to handle it with caution and put it on your BlackBerry with a gentle touch. If you are too dumb to realize that then that's your problem. For most people, as evidenced by the favorable reviews, they had enough sense to see the obvious - treat it nicely. Also, I noticed this same item was "on sale" at a major brick and mortar store this past weekend, whose initials are "B.B." for a ridiculous $15.99. Buying this same item from Amazon is a no-brainer.

this is a good cheep idea however, it does not fit the phone tight enough. I it loose fitting and comes off easy when sliding in and out of pockets. But, it works and for half the price of one at the store.

Unable to review the quality of the product. Ordered this product with another item and this one never arrived, despite the fact that the shipper stated that it did. Perhaps it is the fault of the USPS?

Great product. Easy to slip on and off your Curve. Has the BlackBerry logo on the back of the skin. Great for the price.

Its a pretty decent skin. Its thin and sleek, covers the back of your phone and protects it from scratches. Its not really durable but its a soft, smooth cover. I like it...it was a good price....like they say...you get what you pay for. Don't expect a really expensive like quality...I should have ordered more than one...it kind of feels like it will get worn out (stretched) quickly from taking it on and off the phone. I would recommend it though!

Excellent product sent to my door two days after ordering. It fits nicely over my Blackberry 8300 and made it look sleek. Really holds on to the phone and rarely slips off guaranteeing the protection I wanted.

Didnt even get it on my BB...ripped trying to put it on. Seemed nice but obviosly not made to tug and pull on.

If you are looking to buy something that'll make your Curve less slippery, this skin isn't it.
The surface of this skin is about as slippery as the Blackberry itself, maybe a little less so.

It's also a lint magnet.

It will protect the Curve's shell from minor bumps, however. It fits quite well on the Curve 8330 (Sprint).

Overall it's not what I expected because I primarily needed something to make that overly smooth Curve be a lot more
steady to hold in my hands and between head/shoulders during hands free phone calls without a head set. So far the only reason I'm keeping the skin on is to protect the Curve from scratches.

Side note to Amazon: you have got to be kidding with the packaging, yes? This tiny rubber (= non-breakable) item came shipped in a Amazon box large enough to ship several books. And then there's a bunch of air bubble filler material, as if the box contained fragile hard drives instead of a just the tiny rubber skin.

Inside all that packaging was the rubber skin, tucked into a small resealable bag, with a styro buffer pad. Amazon should have put that in a simple envelope and ship it that way. There's really no need to waste packaging material like this. I'm not a "green freak" but this was a bit much.

I bought this skin for my Blackberry Curve after a friend had given me a skin initially.

This skin is a little snugger than the other "blackberry" skin I had. they are both from Blackberry but i don't know if this will wear out over time but it seems to be perfect now.

It makes the BB feel more solid. I was walking and responding to an email at a crosswalk when someone hit my hand. The extra grip really made it stay in my hand vs flying out with the 'slick' surface of the Blackberry.

I highly recommend this product! The rubberized skin is soft, but protective and does not add bulk to the size of the phone. I have dropped the phone a couple of times, and was relieved to find the phone undamaged and in perfect working condition.

I was surprised that this was an actual blackberry product for such a low price. It came in quickly and I was very pleased with my purchase

This is a great accessory, also it's not 100% required. I actually like the standard 'pleather' one that came with my crackberry because the screan is protected.

Having said that, this is great if you are wearing a blazer, sport or suit coat or if you keep the phone in your shirt pocket.

I got this for my new blackberry and I have to say its great. It has a nice feel to it where its smooth enough to be comfortable but definitely wouldn't slide off your hands or anything. I use this along with the belt holster and i have to say the combination works really well except the fit is a little tight with both of them.

This really protects the phone on the back part, and makes holding the phone feel better for some reason.

I am so glad I got this cover for my Curve 8330. I purchased a different rubberized cover, in a store - not from this seller, about a week ago that also covered the area between the screen and the keypad with a cutout for the trackball and it was crap - the rubber around the trackball made it very hard to use and I threw it out. I purchased this one and love it. It fits my phone like a second skin, makes all the side buttons and plug ins accessible, and protects my phone from the occasional drop. I recommend this to anyone.

Excellent cover, especially for the price. There is an opening for all the buttons, including the speakerphone slits on the top of the phone. My only complaint is that it is not exactly as snug as you might expect, but it certainly is form-fitting.

Not much to describe - it's the Blackberry silicone sleeve. The exact same one they charge about $20 in the stores. If you need it, get it here.

If you don't like a case, and try to get by keeping your Blackberry in your pocket, this is a useful accessory. On the Curve, use the mute key (for standby) -- you can still receive calls and email, but pressing the keys isn't a problem -- and put it in your pants pocket, and if you like use this item for extra protection.

Only two disadvantages (1) you must use the mini USB connector for charging when at the office, but if you use a charging pod BlackBerry Charging Pod for 8300, 8310, 8320, and 8330 Curve Devices (Silver), others for other Blackberry models, the case slips on and off easily; (2) the black skin picks up lint, so just wash in mild detergent every once in a while.

I am really happy with this case. It keeps the body of the phone from getting scratched and makes the phone easier to hold.

I have had nothing but trouble with every cell phone case I've ever owned - going all the way back to the first handheld cell phone I've ever had. Nothing worked, because inevitably, they belt clips or loops would get broken and I'd either lose my phone or have it get damaged. This product is great because it protects the phone, but I can still slip it in my shirt pocket, which is how I now carry my phones. The only think I don't like is that it covers the contacts in the back so I have to take the skin off to pot my Blackberry in the charging cradle that I use.
