Bracketron UFM-100BL Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad

I use my Mio C320 on this friction pad and it works great. You can put it anywhere and it doesn't move when you make sharp turns. Any gadget with a suction cup could use this pad.

I have my Magellan 4040 GPS with Magellan Traffic Kit all hooked up and ready for our first trip. This holder weighs a ton (not really, but it's heavy). I think it will hold the GPS stationary during our trips this winter. Don't really want to stick the suction-cup to our window so I purchased this holder. Got a great price too!

When I received my Nav-Mat I couldn't find my window mount for my older TomTom GO 300 GPS. Therefore, my GPS is bulkier than the new ones that are out. I decided to place the GPS in the mat without its window mount and it holds PERFECT. So now, the heck with attaching my GPS to the mount and then putting the mount in the mat. I eventually did find my mount but now that I use it without my mount saves me more time and trouble and easier just to pick up my GPS and stow in my purse when leaving my car.

Purchased one at Walmart for $ 27, 2 weeks ago, to go with my new Garmin 255 (purchased from Amazon). Works great with my Garmin. Like it much better than the window mount. Seemed expensive. Then I saw this on Amazon for $ 13.22. Ordered it. It is identical to the Walmart one. Has a different name on the packaging, but is identical. Returning the Walmart one this afternoon. The item is probably worth $ 15 max.

When researching GPS systems to buy the Best Buy salesman warned that people looking to steal GPS systems watch for the tell tale ring left by the suction cup attachment on the windshield. This product avoids that problem and keeps the GPS in place on the dashboard. I also bought it because I was afraid that attaching the GPS via the suction cup would make it a driving distraction on the windshield. This product keeps the gps in place and does not slide around. I use it with a Garmin Nuvi GPS system.

Purchased two of these. Great device for mounting GPS in car without attaching it to the windsheild of the car (illegal to windsheild mount in CA). Great simple design and easy to use.

This thing stays right where you put it while everything else goes flying around in my car.

This is the perfect mount for the Magellan Maestro 4250. I wanted a mount that I could position just about anywhere in my car, and that could be easily stowed, leaving theives no sign of a GPS being in the car. I never leave anything valuable in my vehicle anyway, but I don't want anyone breaking into it just because there's some adhesive on the dash or suction marks on the windshield to indicate that there might be a GPS in the vehicle.

I really didn't expect this thing to stay put during hard curves and such, but it really does! I've been using it for 2 months now, and it has NEVER moved! The only time it moves is when I pick it up and stow it out of sight. I travel a lot, too, so it has already seen many miles and all kinds of road conditions.

It's inexpensive, stable, removes without a trace, and it's a perfect fit for the Magellan 4250.

THE BRAACKETRON FRICTION PAD WAS AN EXCELLENT BUY. ONE OF THE THINGS I NEVER WANTED TO DO WAS STICK MY GPS ON TO MY WINDSHIELD.

I bought my husband the new GPS this year and this holder works great so you do not have the sticker mount on your windshield. I only had a problem with figuring out how to work it and had to go on line and look at the pictures as I was sure my husband was going to break it! It should have better instructions with the holder.

I purchased this for use with my Magellan 4000. Works great, no slipping or sliding on the dash. I used double sided tape to secure the holder in the mat. Prices for similar product in stores were much higher.

Great buy. Really holds a GPS system in place. Nothing to it-- jusst unwrap and drop on dash or whatever.

This product works perfectly for my Nuvi 700 series. I move it from car to car, adheres to dash extremely well-- no slipping.

Excellent option when the windshield mount isn't an option. The dash mount disc that came with the tomtom for my wifes car would have worked fine if the dash didn't have countours in it, but this item solved the problem and works very very well. Recommended!

Doesn't work at all with TomTom 720, had to customize it to make it so it would kind of work....

This thing is junk. It slides all over. Do not listen to the reviews. This thing does not stay put.

It works and saves my knee caps from being banged-up by the unit held up by the sometimeish suction rubber on the windshield.

Bought it, tried it around home, worked well. Took it to California, cannot mount GPS on window there, worked great. Drove around and about San Francisco, north to Eureka with no problems. It sat there on the dash like it was made for it. I am very happy with this item.

Works as you would expect -- attach a GPS to the dash pad sing the suction mount, sit the dash pad on the dash. Holds its position pretty well, even with sloping dash. Can move a bit on "washboard" type road, but not a major problem.

This item was purchased with a magellan GPS unit. The GPS units windshield mount fits in the base of the Bracketron. The dash pad is a few pounds and the GPS unit doesn't slide around even in a panic stop.

Stable, easy to use, excellent design - what else can I say about a bean bag for a GPS? It's the most practical way to mount a car GPS without bothering with suction cups. It only takes seconds to hide away the GPS when parking in a public place, move it to another vehicle, or put it back in place for operation.

I used a GPS bean bag for the first time when renting a car at AVIS and was very impressed by its practicality and flawless operation (believe me - no matter how hard you turn that corner, that baby stays put!).

I use this mat with my Garmin Zumo 550. The Garmin came with the stick on disc but I didn't want to affix anything permanent to my dash. This mat holds the Garmin securely and doesn't move around as I drive. This mat is also the least expensive I could find. I highly recommend it.

I used this Dash Pad for the first time on a trip from New York to Florida in my 2008 Honda Accord with my MIO C520 GPS & it worked great. It didn't move around on my dash at all. It's amazing how it stays on the dash. I've used it now for about 3 weeks & I have no complaints.

This is a nice addition to for the GPS system. Folks don't like to have anything "block" their view, so the thought of the GPS stuck the windsheild didn't appeal to them. This sits on the dash or in a large truck that has a middle console - it can sit sturdy there as well. Heavy, doesn't slide when you make a turn.

This product is working as advertised. There is no problem keeping the suction cup from the mount attached firmly to the pad. The pad itself stays planted where ever I put it on the dashboard. Add in the great price (a little more than a third of retail stores), and I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this product.

Excellant product! Much better then the window mount that comes with the Garmin 255W. I work for a county law enforcement department and let one of my road deputies try this product. He had nothing but praises for this item. His window mount would let go of his Garmin 200W and sometimes end up in his lap. He was very impressed with this product. It stayed put right on his dash and never moved. I've recommended this to all of the deputies that have the Garmins in their crusers. It is very easy to remove from the dash and stash on the floor when leaving the car for a trip into the store. Then plopps right back on the dash when back in the car. Very good design and preformance. Can't say enouth good things about it. Buy one today. ;-)

I do not understand the positive reviews. I bought this product based on these reviews and the Nav Mat doesnt work at all for me. Everytime I accelerate from a stop the whole mat, GPS and all comes flying into the front seat. The grip doesnt not seem to grip. I can slide it around my dash like an air hockey puck. Yup, it is that bad. There is ZERO grip. A plain peice of rubber sticks more.

Sharp turns, hard brakes, accelerating from a stop sign - all result is a flying unit. The cheap little dash mount that came with my GPS - the double stick tape kind - it stays put.

Holds the gps on dash over pretty rough roads. I am satisfied with the Dash Pad.

I bought this to use with my TOMTOM 730. It came up as one of the accessories for my unit. It doesn't work with the TomTom because their stand is to short. This forces the screen to be tilted upward and if it's on your dash this makes it useless with that angle. It works great for my Dad's Magellan, but it has a taller stand. Don't buy this for a TomTom

Great product. This base does not move. I find that the stand mount is too close to the rim of this product. If the stand of the Garmin was a bit longer I think it would be great. Also noticed the sun reflects on my dash and on the GPS screen much more than it does when mounted on the windshield.

This is great for keeping my GPS on my dashboard. It does not move at all when I am making a turn or hitting my breaks. Very sturdy and a great purchase.

We purchased this item after reading about cars being broke into by thiefs who noticed the mark on the windshield from the GPS holder which comes with the GPS units..This allows us to just set it securely on the dash and when getting out of the car place it in a secure spot without leaving signs on the windshield of using a GPS in the car. Also after pricing this Nav-Mat at stores, purchasing it at Amazon was a terrific money saver...

Nervous that the unit will come lose and fall on the floor of the car - have not used much. The grip is not the best.

Maybe its the slanting design of my car (98 Geo Prizm), but the thing comes crashing down every time I make a sharp and/or fast turn. But as I said, could be due to the nature of my dashboard. It is pretty good in straight roads.

I purchased this mount for my daughter's Magellian GPS and it worked quite well. Since you have to use the suction cup mount from your GPS, I ended up gluing it in place on the Bracetron pad and then it worked well as a sturdy, flexible mount. If you have a Garmin GPS, which I do, I prefer the Garmin bean bag since it comes with an excellent adjustable mount on the bag that attaches to any Garmin Nuvi.

I got this Nav-Mat GPS in good timing before traveling to NJ. I like it a lot.

I purhased the beanbag gps dash holder. It arrived at my house earlier than expected. I originally purchased the item in a office supply store and later found it on amazon.com. I just purchased the Bracketron with a Navigon 2200t. Works GREAT and is surprisingly stable. I took some sharp turns and it didn't move a bit from my dashboard. Really good product!

I returned this because it just would take up too much space on my dash. The window/clip that came with my GPS works just fine.

I use one of these with a TomTom One and I use the Garmin version with a Garmin 2720. They are both excellent designs, but the more flexible base shape and grippier bottom of the Garmin makes it more stable. The relatively stiff and round shape of the Nav-Mat lets it slide quicker under stress. Also, you rely on the suction cup to hold your gps with the Nav-Mat and sometimes, rarely, the suction cup grip fails and your gps flies. The Garmin costs about 2X as much, so the Nav-mat is a bargain by comparison.

This works great and doesn't slide around at all, but I was surprised at how large it is. Guess it can't be helped since the window suction cup must stick in the middle, but you should be aware of the size when buying it, as it may not fit in your glove compartment.

This definitely does its job. It doesn't slide around on the dash and handles any gps mount. Good product.

The pad works excellently. I have no real roblems with it that cannot be adjusted. Depending on where the power cord goes into the GPS you may have to move it around on the pad. It has never tipped over, and it can be placed in many different areas on the car. The suction cup on the gps mount adheres to the pad vey well and the weight makes it very stable. I would reccommend this vey highly as if the original mount is used it tips off people that there is a gps in the car. I have had a window broken because the power cord was left visible in the car.

This is the best thing that's happened since they actually invented the GPS! And Amazon has the absolute best price.... Thank you!

This bag was awesome to use , could be just a little bigger, but other than that, it didnt move one bit on the dash. Nice product!
