Caselogic PDVS-4 7-Inch In-Car DVD Player Case (Black)

For the price, this is a pretty good dvd player case. It can be a little tricky mounting it to a car seat (even trickier suspending it between 2 car seats) but not impossible. It seems pretty durable and adequately padded. I only wish that it had a little more storage capacity. With the dvd player and all the accessories (power cord, case mounting straps, etc.) loaded in the bag there is almost no room to carry any dvds. But, with a price so much lower than all the other cases i looked at, I'm not complaining.

Output of good material, good design, easy to assemble and easy to use especially for the smallest of the family.

Excellent quality, grandchildren were thrilled and may never look out a car window again, super buy for the money.

I purchased 3 of these for Christmas presents for the DVD players I also bought and they are just perfect for car viewing. The straps make the case very versatile for sharing one player, using the between-the-seats configuration, or by attaching to an individual seat for personal viewing. I'm not sure how easy it will be to remove the case and leave the straps in position because the plastic clips that hold the case are a little stiff. All in all, for the price, the case appears to be of good quality and will definitly do the job.

This item is very good for carrying portable dvd and dvd's.Has a lot of room. If you want to use it in the car to watch dvd, especially between seats, not good at all. First thing straps all the time slips from head rest, even though i try to tighten them very hard. Second thing, it shakes when you drive.The best to use it on seat, but not between.

We bought the case for our vacation trip this summer. It fits very well over the back of the front seat so the kids could watch movies. When not in use, it is a great case for storage. It protects the portable dvd player very well.

Used this on a road trip to maine to hold our dvd player in the middle of the back seats so both kids could watch and it did what it is supposed to do.

Installed in a Honda to hold the Coby DVD player. It does the job.

The player is prettier than it looks in the site. It was easy to use at first although I have not yet used any memory card or pendrive as video source.

I bought this product for my 7 yo son's Portable DVD. We are able to carry it everywhere and it protects the DVD perfectly. The outer area is great for keeping the remote and the chargers (Car and Wall Adapter)and it still has room for a DVD Movie. The straps it comes with are easy to install on the car's headrest. I recommend it.

I own a 2003 Toyota Camry and I use one of the straps to wrap it around the head rest. It stays on secured. My Child does not get bored anymore. When we get off the car, I can easyly pull it off and place the player and case in the trunk in 30 seconds. That way, if it is out of sight, no one will be tempted to steal a $100+ worth electronic toy. I also can easyly strap it back in place in 30 seconds.

i like the features of the case but to be honest i have yet to find away to get it to stay where i want it too. it could be operator error but I am not so sure.

It's always difficult to find universal cases that work as advertised though.

Roomy enough to tuck in a DVD or two. Good protection, and easy to carry. A must-have for a new DVD player.

I really appreciate that it was suggested on the page for the Coby DVD player. I didn't have to go researching for a case, requiring comparing size specs and other features. It really saved me time, and it was an accurate pairing.

I got it for my daughter. She was starting to scatch theoutside of the dvd player(she is 2). Our 7" portable phillips dvd player fits perfect. It fits so it doesn't slide around. It is a wonderful product for the price.

This is a great little case. It is good, durable material, well-constructed, with extra storage flap on the outside. Handle is secure and comfortable. You won't be disappointed with this case. Take it at its word, however, that it is for 7" DVD; anything larger probably won't fit.

We got this for my daughter when we drive on long trips. The only problem that I had with it was the dvd player would close by itself. I would have to hold the dvd screen up so she could watch. There should be a latch or velcro on the top to hold the screen from closing. Other than that I like it and it works.

I don't know why they advertise this case with the Audiovox. It does not fit with the battery attached, which of course makes it useless! Just beware of the size of your unit in both length and depth.

This case was ok. The dvd player I have barely fits and I have to get the player out to exchange the power cords between home/car. I also have to make this maneuver to turn the power on/off since the switch is on the side. It was also hard to attach the case between the seats of the car. It wanted to swing back and forth and was hard to adjust for proper viewing. It works great when you attach it directly to the back on one seat insteand of putting it in the middle.

We tried everyway from Sunday to get this thing to support the dvd player on the back of the front seat... it just flopped open, and would not hold the player in any viewable position whatsoever. It is a good carrying case however.

Case is a very nice looking case and appears to be great for our new Colby 8.5" DVD player (this was the one recommended by Amazon). The problem is it is very tight to get player into bag and cannot open as shown in picture with any cords attached. Also, not enough storage for the supplied cables.

I dind't find that it was all that easy to attach to the seats. It would NOT go on the back of the middle seats of my van. When you strap it between 2 seats it sways too much. When you get it securely strapped to the back of a seat the dvd player won't open completey all the way up so it's hard for the kids to see the screen.

I would suggest this product if you are looking for setting up a compact DVD player in the car.

It holds the Coby DVD player just fine. That's what I bought it for. It does the job. Good protection for the equipment. I'm sorry that this review isn't exciting.

I ordered this case when I ordered by DVD player. I did not pay attention to the fact that this a case for up to 7 inch units, so I was afraid this would not work.

The case itself is very lightweight, has a small opening on the top (I put my remote, owners manual and headphones in it), and straps to allow the unit to connected to rear of a headrest of a car or truck. I probably will never use the straps for that purpose, but it has small rings and I should be able to use the straps as a shoulder strap. Oh and unlike some other cases, this one also has straps to keep the unit from sliding around inside.

Maybe the only thing I wish is that it had room for the power adaptors too.

The case is padded and fits my player to a T (I have the Sony DVPFX810/L). Nice little case and awesome price.

This case has a surprising amount of room in it. My dvd player I purchased was a snug fit but it works fine.

Perfect case for traveling. Has enough storage for all the accessories that go with a portable DVD player. Easy to hang on seat back. Lightweight.

I am a film major and I sometimes have to carry my G-Tech hard drive with me. The only problem is I needed a bag with padding, and the ability to store my connectors and power cord. I was shopping in Target and came across this bag. It has a compartment for you USB/Firewire and other cords. You also have some space for the power cord (but you may have to separate it). The bonus is the belt secures the hard drive itself and the luxury of having a handle strap. To be the perfect hard drive bag it needs to be about an inch longer and more padding, but it beats nothing (who knows, maybe someone will design a bag for the G-Tech large hard drives.)

I had a difficult time attaching this to the seat. It is supposed to wrap around the headrest but because of the shape of our headrests (squat, smaller at the top than at the bottom) it would not stay in place. However when the straps scooted down to the base of the headrest and i tightened them there, the case stayed in place. It was a little lower than i expected but worked fine.
There is not enough storage for all the cords that come with a portable DVD player. So if this is the bag you are going to use to store the DVD player in, it might not work out that well. Personally i'm going to make a bag for the cords and clip it on the exterior of the bag so that I won't lose all the parts.

When I purchased a portable DVD player for my teen aged son at boarding school, I knew a case would be necessary for it to last more than a few weeks. Since the DVD player purchase was being made via Amazon, I bought this case because it was convenient and affordable - didn't give it much thought.

Since then I've seen similar onces in department stores, often priced somewhat higher.

If you are looking for a lightweight nylon carrying case, I recommend this product.

Perfect for travel! I bought and used for my grandson w/the DVD player when we travel. He can get comfy in the back seat and watch movies and I can drive in peace.

Unit shipped does not have the adjustable web pieces on the sides as pictured. Good price for $16, but wish it was as pictured. Would make it easier to orient the screen for viewing in the back seat.

Also, the velcro closure that holds in the DVD player isn't very good quality and is starting to come apart.

I thought about returning it. May still do so.

Our family likes this case for our 7 inch portable DVD player. We can fit almost everything we need into the case. We also used the case in our 4-door pickup truck back seat for the kids. Even though the front seats do not have separate head rests, like cars, we were still able to use the straps in a manner that mounted the case between the 2 front seats for the kids to view.

As in other reviews that I have read, the only problem that I can see with this case is that the top side of the case does not open quite far enough to open the DVD player screen completely. Although this is a bit awkward, the movie could still be viewed. So I still like the case overall.
