Casio Black Ribbons for All CW Disc Title Printers, 3 Pack (TR-18BK-3P)

bought the printer at Office Max who then promplty stoped selling it or the ribbons. Found these and they are working perfect.

This cartridge is no longer available in the stores you have to purchase it on line. Amazon has the best price. It was delivered in a timely matter. No problem with it.

This is exactly what i needed and it came in a timely manner and cost less.

You cant use a Casio Disc Title Printer without these thermal gems.

Each allows you about 40 titles, depending on size.

This was a great idea...no more using Sharpies on discs.

Good buy. Works great with my Casio CW 100 Title Printer, just like it is supposed to do.

This is a good product. The print quality has been pretty good on the Cds and Dvds. My only concern is that it does not last that long.

This works excellent as long as you can find blank Cd's without writing on them.

I guess my turn is up....meaning I have fallen in the not so happy category this time. 5 calls (3 unanswered) and 3 weeks later I received the item. The item is great, Casio makes a good product. I was looking for best price and forgot about what all comes with (sometimes) best prices. Wishing you a better experience with this vendor, if you choose to buy here. As for myself, I will pay a little more, elsewhere, next time.

We did have some problems getting this thing set up. It will not work connected to a usb hub. It also will not work if it is hooked up to a front of side usb port. It must be connected to a "main" usb port in the back of the computer. So it did not work with the available ports on the laptop, but did work very well connected to the rear usb port on desk top tower.
As for the printer itself. It prints very well, crisp and clear. Once it is set up it is pretty simple and user friendly. The software is easy to install and use. We are quite pleased with the print quality and ease of use. It does seem to print on just about any cd-rom surface. We have printed a few different sufaces and I think it works best on those that have a "frosted" looking front to them.

Can't beat the original manufacturer's ribbons. Too bad the printer wastes so much of it when it prints.

I have been very happy with my purchase of these Casio Black Ribbons for my Title Printer. They are easy to install and their performace is also great. I'm so glad I found a place where I can get them at a reasonable price too. Thank you Amazon.com!

I love the printer but it does use up these little ribbons pretty quick, better buy 3 at a time. Does not seem to be any way to rewind and re-use.

This is a great product for printing on CDs. I purchase them all the time and have never had a problem with them at all.

Works very well. I thought the life of the ribbons was longer than i was expecting. I understand though that each users needs might be different.

Staples stopped carrying this product, so I looked on Amazon and there it was!

What's to say? They're ribbons! They ribbons fit the printer and pretty much do the job with only a few drop-outs.

This is kind of a strange product to review, but I've actually used them quite heavily with my Casio CW-50 Disc Title Printer for several years with no problems whatsover. The problem will come when they are finally discontinued.

I am a repeat orderer of this item from J&R and have never been disappointed. Quick email re delivery info and just as quick delivery. Pleased as always.

The Casio Title Printer ink ribbons are easy to install and replace. It is suggested that the any slack in the ribbon is taken out when installing a replacement cartridge. The only criticism I have is that you have to replace the cartridges frequently and they are expensive. The titles and images transferred to disc are excellent quality and permanent. If it wasn't for the cost, I would have rated this product 5 stars.

I can print between 30 to 50 dvd's per cartridge depending on the size of the titles. They last well between uses and don't appear to dry out if not used for a month or two.

I print quite a few discs and these ink ribbons do a good job. I'm well into the first of three ribbons and am having no issues with them. If the next two don't work as well I will update my rating. I ordered them with another item and got free shipping. I was satisfied with the price and got them quickly.

This product delivers what it promises -- good looking printed cd's and DVD's with title, artist, etc printed nicely on disc. These ribbons are single-use and run out rather quickly, so have extras on hand. They should give away the printer, just to sell you the ribbons, if you know what I mean.

Printer cassettes for the handy Casio optical media labeler are hard to find on foot. The printer is useless without them. The cassettes and printer function well. The availbility of the printer cassettes at [...] makes it convenient to use this device to label optical media with a myriad of labeling options.

I got the ribbon, fast and it works great. love my printer. THe software is not the greatest but I would recommend it.

My ribbons were backordered but, when they arrived, they were good quality and worked well.

In My Opinion:

I bought the Casio CW-100 Thermal label Printer. Everything goes well until you get an old ink cartridge with dry ink, or until you get one that has deteriorated and is gummy. What could happen, also, is that you buy a three-pack that already has spent some time on the shelf, so the cartridges are old. Then, a couple of months down the line, you try to use the second or third one, and now it's really deteriorated.

You buy a three-pack to have them on hand, but not everybody can use them in a month, so you expect they will last a few months. Inkjet cartridges and copier cartridges last well over a year, and sometimes longer.

I purchased a 3-pack of ribbons with my printer. The second ribbon was dry due to it probably being old stock, so I tried the third ribbon, and it was dry , also.
I contacted J&R Music World and they said it was not their problem. I contacted Casio, and they said it was not THEIR problem. Several calls to Casio brought the comments "Sometimes ribbons dry out or are gummy", but we have no policy to replace directly from Casio". I called J&R and they said, it's Casio's problem.
Isn't that great - two people made money and it's nobody's problem. Here comes Amazon to the rescue with a partial refund from its A-Z guarantee. Shame on J&R and Casio. I still lost money.

The ribbon is very easy to install and produced high quality text on Sony DVD media. One ribbon usually prints a little more than the 40 DVDs stated in the documentation.
