An Overlooked Masterpiece
With many people not even knowing who Christopher Williams is made it somewhat hard for him to really stand out like he should have. Nevertheless, this album is a jewel with the perfect blend of Soul, New Jack Swing and R&B mixed together. "Dreamin" was the number one hit from this album, but my favorite would have to be "Every Little Thing U Do". I would personally recommend this album for all Soul & New Jack Swing lovers who were "down with the 90s".

His Greatest Album.....BAR NONE!
I know Christopher Williams has had several albums and many of those have had good songs on them but for an overall strong album, "Changes" is his greatest in my opinion! Nearly every song was good. While mostly slow songs, there are some good mid-tempo to up-tempo songs on here as well. His version of "Come Go With Me" is still the best remake of Teddy Pendergrass' classic (only Jahiem's recent remake comes close). Favorites of mine were "All I See", "Good Lovin'" w/Mary J. Blige, "When A Fool Becomes A Man", "Where Are You Now", "Every Little Thing You Do" and the title track.
Even his weakest track "Please, Please" is pretty good compared to a lot of R & B music from today. Get this classic!

New Jack Swing R&B man o man how I miss it
Growing up in the early nineties I consider New Jack Swing to be the music of my childhood. It was a time when you and your parents actually both listened to the same radio station and talked about music on a daily basis. Christopher Williams's sophomore CD Changes was one of the excellent releases from 1992.Fresh off of his acting debut in New Jack City, Williams was destined for a place in R&B. Like many singers Williams excels at the ballads in particular Please, Please, Please Changes, When A Fool Becomes A Man and his cover of Come Go With Me. One has to wonder if Williams would have gotten stronger material on his third & fourth CD's how he would have fared in today's R&B market? Just imagine Williams doing songs written & produced by Ne-Yo, The Underdogs, Sean Garret and even R.Kelly. If you don't have this CD you're really missing out.
I am in agreement that is a womderful cd, however, the person that said RIP is a bit off. Christopher "is" a great singer and actor. Not only is he not dead but he is still appearing in plays around the US. Check your facts. One more thing, Christopher really need to come out with something new because it will break records as soon as it hits the shelves.
This was delayed too much, yet it came out in late 1992. Christopher Williams' second album Changes, is such a strong follow-up, with dynamic R&B dance numbers and smooth ballads. Every Little Thing still sounds funky. Much of the album was produced by 3 Boyz from Newark and other New York based producers. A stand out is his wonderful remake of Teddy Pendergrass' Close the Door. Quite frankly, the best remake of a Teddy song that I've heard. And it stays true to the original. Perhaps the only singer of today than can be compared to Chris is hit maker Jaheim. Jaheim reminds me so much of Chris' voice sometimes as well as Teddy. Williams' album deserved far more promotion than it got, because it's loaded with just strong songs.
This is indeed a classic album from an underexposed talent.
Christopher Williams was one talented musician and actor. Grab a bit of history; you're money will not be wasted on this disc.
Excellent early 1990s urban music, along the lines of Mary J. Blige, Guy, Hi-Five, and the like. Songs like, All I See, Good Luving, Dreamin, and Every Little Thing You Do, were in heavy rotation in Los Angeles during this period. Just put on this CD and let the memories come back.

Take me back TO 92!!
Where does one start when reviewing a classic album like this?
Christopher Williams probably has one of the best voices ive ever heard!!This album is an abSOULute must if your into New jack Swing/RnB. Mr Williams has a voice which was probably the equivalent of a 90s Teddy Pendergrass.
Even if i listen to the CD now, it still makes me want to get up and dance!! tell me how many RnB albums out there now, will do that in 10 years time!!
Miss this at your peril!!
buy it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
