Corelle Livingware 16-Piece Dinnerware Set with Mug, Service for 4, Country Cottage

The dishes arrived in perfect condition. They are beautiful and I know they are of very good quality, as I have other Corelle products.

look great , dont get hot in microwave, diswasher safe, they are thin but i like tht because takes up less space in the cubord.

I love these dishes. I got rhese to increase the set I already have. I recomend these to everyone.

This is not a review of this particular pattern, but of Corelleware generally. These are by far the best made dishes I have ever used. I bought my first set 20 years ago, and not a single piece has so much as chipped in all of those years. I have used them every day, frozen them, microwaved them, and moved them over a dozen times. You can drop a plate from waist height on a wood floor and it will not even chip. The plates and bowls are very easy to clean. The bowls stack in the dishwasher, unlike many bowls that are either too broad or too sharply angled to stack more than one in a dishwasher rack. The dishes are made so that they always come out of the dishwasher perfectly dry, because there is no place for moisture to pool.

Considering the very low quality of most consumer products that are available these days, Corelle is an amazing product. The one weakness in the sets are the mugs. The mugs are *not* made of the same material as the dishes, and they are *not* made in Dow-Corning's US plant. They are made in Thailand, and they are of only average quality. After 20 years, all of my mugs fell apart. The handles cracked off, presumably from too may trips to the freezer and the microwave. They are better than the Chinese made cups that are available at nearly all retail stores in the US, but they are not up the normal quality of the US-made dishes.

I bought this set for the bowls and mugs my daughter didn't purchase when she bought her pattern a la carte! She was so surprised because she loves Corelle's versatility and durability. She was especially pleased with the Robin-blue-egg mugs.

These dishes are great, they are durable and do not break unless you drop them on a tile floor. Really a good product for everyday needs.

coffee cups came with chips in the rims. I was unable to take a picture to complete the claim process and unable to reach anyone by phone.

I purchased two sets as a wedding gift and the person I got it for was thrilled. Fast, easy service from Amazon.com. I would recommend anybody looking for this product to order from Amazon.com, most sruff is in stock and the prices are great as is the service.

I have shopped at Amazon before with no problems whatsoever, not this time though.

I ordered 2 sets and I am happy with them, they are very cute. I also ordered the matching spoon rest - don't bother. It is very cheap looking and nothing I want in my kitchen. Unfortunately, each set came with a broken dish (actually, not broken but shattered) howerver; the stoneware mugs which are supposed to be more breakable were all in one piece, go figure. I called Livingware directly and they are sending me replacements with no problem. Yea, for that.
I'm not happy with Amazon right now. Two days after I placed my order the sets were reduced in price by $5.00 each. That would have saved me a total of $10.00. When I requested a credit on my account Amazon refused. So I guess I will cancel my Amazon credit card and do my shopping elsewhere where they appreciate their customers. Not a happy campre at this point.

I first purchased Corelle dinnerware in the 70's and was very pleased with it but got tired of the avocado green flower pattern after 25 years. I gave away the old set of Corelle and replaced it with Pfaltzgraff, which unfortunately is much heavier and has been much more prone to chip, break, and show scratches. So I decided to return to Corelle. I really like the look of this pattern, and although I was concerned about breakage during shipping and handling, I decided to order them from Amazon, based on the positive reviews and the assurance that Amazon and/or Corelle would replace any damaged pieces. I ordered one set with the blue mugs and two sets with the matching glasses; the order was placed on a Monday with free super saver shipping, and I had the sets by that Wednesday! They arrived in perfect condition. I am very excited to start using them; they are much lighter to handle, which is especially a plus for children and the elderly, and they fit much more easily into the dishwasher and the cabinets. While I really love the items, what's really surprising is that the items were shipped so fast! Shopping at Amazon is really fun and reliable!

We have been using Corning Ware for a while and found that it was just too heavy and took up too much space in the dishwasher. While it was a good set and enjoyable it just did not fit our needs. Wanting a lightweight and easy to move around set we chose the Corelle Livingware and are delighted and surprised. It is light and holds the same amount of food as the heavier Corning. Cleanup goes fast and the dishwasher cleans it well. The size of the pieces sorta mandates your using smaller portions and that ain't all bad. I'm not enamored with the cup, however. Coffee is a mainstay here and it is not unusual to go through 4 full pots each day even with the prices at outrageous levels. Filling a smallish cup such as this one is a tad too much. Of course, on the other hand is the fact that you will have to get up and go to the coffee pot more often and that is good from a calorie burning thing. When dropped the dishes just bounce around and thumb their noses. Overall, I am please with the everyday nature of these pieces and will use them for quite a while.

I really like the Corell for several reasons. First, it stacks very nicely. it is thin and so doesn't take up a lot of room. Secondly, the stuff is tough! Tempered glass beats any ceramic at that price; which brings me to my third reason. I had no china and couldn't find a better deal anywhere. Plus the mugs instead of the cup-and-saucer set up is so much better for our household.

I only wish there had been more of a color selection.

The plates and bowls are as expected, we've used corelle for years.. We expected the 4 cups to be better (they are stoneware, not that it was a surprise.. i knew it before ordering). One of them has already chipped (after 4 months) and i'm trying to get a replacement.

I've had corelle Livingware before, but gave it away when I received a wedding gift of fancier dinnerware. I was tired of dragging out this heavy stoneware and taking it out of the dishwasher and trying to place several plates up in the cupboard. Since several of our plates were broken and the bowls weren't practical, I decided to go back to Corelle ware and found this pretty set. Unloading the dishwasher is easy now and my husband, who often has no opinion on anything house related, loves the coffee mugs and the fact you can actually eat out of these bowls without spilling. Great buy--bought three sets so I never am found without an extra place setting for company.

I admit it -- I haven't actually had a chance to use them yet. But this set was a really good price, and from what I read Corelle was definitely the way to go (versus melamine). The thing I liked best was that it came with GLASSES instead of COFFEE CUPS, which I find so much more practical. I'm generally not a big fan of "cute" but the Country Cottage design is really...well...cute. But very simple and rather elegant too. Also, ironically enough, one of the boxes came with some broken pieces and I called Amazon right away, and right away they shipped a replacement set at no cost. So all in all, I consider this an excellent purchase.

I have a family and plates get broken if they are breakable. I like the Corelle for that reason. Nice set, and good price. Nothing fancy but good for what I need them for. I really like the cups.

Although I still revert to using my larger volume mug for drinking, this dinnerware set makes entertaining guests a breeze. The plates feels think but it holds up pretty well to everyday use and washing. I've served curry, and other foods that might stain cheaper dishes, but most caked on stuff washes off easily and leaves the plates and dishes pretty and white again.

I was searching to buy this product for my mom to send india. Amazon selling at very good bargain after thanks giving sale. Received as it is described and in time. These sets are looking very beautiful and packing is very good.

I have not always grown up with Corelle dishes but my grandma had them and I had always loved them. Then recently my mother purchased them and I fell even more in love. As a recent college grad, these dishes are a perfect start to my adult life. I feel as if they are sturdy enough to survive my clumsiness and are fancy enough to look like a start to a real home and not a college house. Amazon even shipped them fast and for free!

I got this set for $17 and eligible for free shipping - a real bargain. The product is of good quality and looks to be durable even with daily use. The mug is ceramic based and have already broken one. I'm not that good with China and that was one of the reasons I bought these - lightweight and microwave safe.

I would have liked to have a choice of design patterns on the plate. I see the same set of plates at a few friends place also :)

My friend and I split these dishes (8 pieces each) for college, and at the time, the set was only $19.99.

The dishes are well made--nice and thin and remarkably sturdy--and are a better deal than anything you could pick up at Target. The print is very cute, too. The only possible complaint I'd have is that I was expecting the mugs to be as nice as the dishes, but they're just generic stoneware. Honestly though, for the price, I can't complain at all.

I've been using these dishes for months, and even after being knocked around in the sink with pots and pans and other dishes, they don't have a scratch on them. Definitely worth buying! :)

I received my order with one dinner plate broken. So, Amazon puts several Sealed Air Inflatable Packaging on the side and on the top of the box, but in the most important place ON THE BOTTOM didn't have any one, the result, a 15 (not 16) piece set. And this is not my first order that I received with defficient packing (some times very big boxes for a small things)....
$30 bucks to the trash.

Corelle is the best brand I know. The durability of their plates and mugs is amazing. You never get tired of them because they always look new. I love the product and I got it really fast too. The design is beatiful.

this is a set that is value for money (vfm). reasonably priced and practical for a growing family. its lightweight material yet durable when it comes to wear and tear is convenient for a typical home. highly recommended esp if you bought this on sale @ $19.99! the current $26.99 is a bit prohibitive if we want to add to our dinnerware stock. :)

Bought it for under 21$ from sale with free super shipping. Solid as it looks. Needs no review, but I think Corelle should come up with a slight variation of this Set, as this is one of their best selling products. Tired of seeing the same old country design for years.

I was not sure whether I would like this design - but when I received my shipment - found that I like the design and the pale blue color of the Mugs (they weren't the Shade of blue pictured on Amazon but better). I like simple designs compared to garish ones. I also like the durability of this product.

I purchased 4 sets of the Country Cottage pattern and have been very pleased with the dinnerware. Service for 16 takes up very little room in my cabinets and seem very durable. I bought these to replace my heavy stoneware and couldnt be more happy. These are great for everyday use and casual family dinners.

These are a great value. The plates are light weight and microwaveable. The mugs are large and have a great look. I've had my set for about 5 months, I notice some minor scratches. All in all great dishes!

I purchased two sets of the Livingware in early December. I was so satisfied with the products that I purchased two more sets. Corelle ware is very versatile and great for every day use. It is microwavable. Because it is glass, it is very microwave neutral and the plates don't absorb all of the microwave energy and become real hot. It is ovenable, very space efficient and the hard glass surface cleans easily. Even hardened sauces come off easily in the dishwasher.
For both orders the processing and shipping was super fast. They arrived two days after the order was placed.

I have 2 teens & a 6 year old and when you tell the teens it's your turn to do the dishes, well we all know how they do dishes.

After a few hiccups unrelated to this product I was finally able to use the dishes. I was pleased by the appearance, nice color and simple design which could be both fancy and ordinary dishes. The bowls are nicely shaped, not that flat style so the kids can fill with cereal without spilling the milk.

The one thing that I found to be a bit disappointing was the statement that it was unbreakable, per the commercials they will bounce instead. This is very true as long as it hits the floor a certain way. My daughter dropped her plate and true to the commercials claim it bounced instead of breaking. But when my son decided to test the theory himself with a bowl it did not bounce and shattered into a million pieces...because the bowl hit the floor on the corner of the bowl thus hitting the pressure point to cause the breakage. I think that the manufacturer should state this even if it's fine print so kids everywhere aren't trying what my son did.

Having never bought this item through internet prior to this purchase I was extremely pleased with items when they arrived.

I selected this item from a shower gift registry. The store didn't stock it. I'd have to order it from them on line and then it would take up to 4 weeks to be delivered. Having made several other purchases through Amazon and my orders always arriving within a few days, I didn't hesitate to order two sets. The price was better than the local discount stores. The dishes arrived well packaged and in plenty of time for the shower.

Excellent piece of cookware. My family were big fan of Corningware and this set was indeed comparable though little heavier but for price qualty is extremely good. Gave as a Christmas gifts to people and they loved it.

We bought 2 of these sets for the amazon special price at $20 each. The shipping was good, and got all the pieces unbroken. No issues except for the fact that the cups are a little heavier when compared to the rest of the set. Hoever, overall its a good buy for the cash I paid.

its adds beauty to the diining table with this beautiful dinner set...i like it verymuch and its very good for serving in parties...but we have to handle care with these glass items.....and good resistance for microven also

i love this set, dropped the plate on floor when i took it out the box, but it did not break! it's also light and beautiful.
what i don't like is the mugs are stoneware, heavy and not chip resitent.
also the small bowl's color and print are different from those plates, so they don't look like a set, that's too bad.
