Corelle Livingware 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Secret Garden

This set was such a bargain! The dishes are very pretty and the ceramic mugs are a very nice shape and weight. Everything arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

Item is 5 stars but shoddy shipping by Amazon cost 1 star. Purchased two 4 piece settings as a gift. The recipient loves it. Amazon had the item at a great price prior to black Friday but dropped the ball on shipping. When my shipment initially arrived only one 16 piece set was shipped. My invoice said "QTY shipped 1 and this completes your order". I grabbed the reciept I printed out when I place the order and called Amazon to straighten out the mistake. It didn't take too much talking until they agreed to ship me the second set. Since this was a gift I was worried when they told me the expect arrival date of my delayed order was Dec 23. Later I received a status update and the item actually arrived sometime around the middle of December. Regardless, this hassle added a good bit of stress to what should have been a mindeless online purchase and is exactly the sort of thing that makes me leery of ordering from Amazon again.

We loved our previous Corelle purchase and love this one as well. Made in U.S.A. (except mugs). Great pattern and wear.

This set is very elegant, but doesn't look to classic either. The shapes and colors were just as it was in the picture. I liked the fact that it had a consistent decoration on the bowl as well (unlike some other sets), but I wished it was exactly the same rather than just seemingly consistent.

But overall, I love this product and I highly recommend it :)

hi ilike secret grden dinner set because design and price totaly fit in my budgt when i receve my product i a'm very happy but when i sow my pruduct i a'm very upset because my dinner set look like old i think some body used it & i bought the new dinner set but i receve old & used dinner set so i'm not happy with us......

They look great, can be used for everyday and still when company comes. One thing I really like is the thickness and durability. They take up less space. They do not break as easily as others do. They also retain the clean looking color. The white stays white, and the trim stays fresh looking. I wish the cups were made of the same glass.

I received exactly what I ordered very quickly and was pleased with my purchase and transaction overall.

When I first placed the order, I was quite skeptical about the cup's color, it seemed too bright, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the blue was just perfect and matched very well with the plates, I bought it from Amazon, the shipping and delivery was on time.

this was the best price I could find anywhere on either the internet or in any store. Shipping needs to be improved as far as packing goes. They did use air bags,but the outside box was so large that inside box with china in it was slidding around. As soon as I picked up the box from my porch I knew something was broken. One dinner plate was smashed into hundreds of tiny glass slivers. There was a number to call if any thing was broken. I called.In one week I had my dinner plate.No problem.

We love our Corelle so much that we bought more at the Corelle store in Garden City, NY. We got this as bridal gift and it has served us wonderfully. One of our plates chipped slightly but we were still able to use without any danger. The chipped edge was smooth and not sharp. Great design too!

I bought this dinnerware set for my Mom. She absoulutely loved it, especially the coffee cups. Her previous set was so heavy and was getting harder and harder for her to handle. She said this set was so much easier to handle and she thought they looked beautiful.

Delivered on time. No damage. Bright & light pattern. Gave as a gift and recipient just loves them.

Beautiful design, best price on the net, wish the mugs were bigger. Received in 3 days, everything was intact.

I ordered 4 sets of corelle with
Amazon free shipping. It was the
best price I could find on the net.

There was one broken plate, within
a few days, Amazon sent a replacement.


I also had problems trying to get
a refund ticket which was my fault.
The 1st time I tried, my computer
froze up. The 2nd time, my computer
ran out of ink.

However, Amazon saw me throughout
my ordeal. Their customer service
is second to none with very prompt
emails addressing my concerns.

In my college business book, it
stated Amazon was in business for
the long run. That must be absolutely
true!

Furthermore, as far as corelle
is concerned, I had an eight place
setting for 25 years.

I still used them when
ordering these with a complete
5 place setting plus! I had moved
at least 10 times in the 25 years.

They are the best dishes especially
for people with butterfingers and kids!

Take note that the mugs are
made of stoneware. However,
they are getting plenty of
use since they are larger
than the original cups.

I rarely used the old cups.
I gave the old set to Princess
Punkin, my toy poodle, as glass
does not harbor germs like plastic.

For germ-free dishes add a small
amount of clorox bleach to your
dishwater!

"The Secret Garden" is one of my most favorite books and movies. This pattern evokes those memories whenever we use it. It is a beautiful, soothing pattern that utilizes some of our most favorite colors. We especially like that it includes matching cups that are not Corelle, but appear to be stoneware. They are a wonderful addition to this set.

i ordered this and waited patiently for a month or so to receive it. when it came, unfortunately, the whole thing was in little pieces of what used to be dishes. i don't know the ups guys threw the box around or what, but it was not packed properly either. i sent it back and asked for another one, and it was even worse the second time around. i didnt even have to open the box because it just sounded like sand in there. i wouldnt waste my time on this kind of item from amazon ever again.

The design of this pattern is simple, cheerful and elegant. I enjoy the Corelle livingware collections for casual dinning. They are light-weight, very easy to clean, chip resistant, which is great for little kids. The dinner plate, bowl and saucer are made in USA, the mugs are made in Thailand. I have seen this set at the Corelle outlet store, the Amazon price is really a bargain even campared to the outlet price.

This is very lovely set! Especially the bowls!! They come with a nice delicate row of flowers design outside the bowls which you normally don't found in other corelle sets!! I am still looking for matching platter and large serving bowl!! Unforunately Amazon doesn't carry them!! You can get same set of 48 pieces in Walmart as well!!. Also try the bake-serve set available on amazon which matches this one.
