Good starting point for Food Processors
I've never used a food processor before. I have had this now a year and use it every day. It is a great place to start with a food processor before you spend hundreds of dollars on the big chef units.

Very very very very very very tiny!
This item is very tiny. The worlds most smallest food processor just came to my door. The description said it fits 4 cups but it doesnt even fit 1! They sell this in stores for less than 20 dollars. No one buys a food processor this small. Total rip off. I plan on returning this item to amazon. Do not waste 40 dollars on this. Also I highly doubt the listing price on this is 90 dollars. No one in 100 years would buy this in stores for over 20 dollars. TOTAL RIP OFF TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We've really enjoyed this processor so far. Definitely worth the money. Cuts down on prep time by at least 70%!

A Must Have Item
This product is super easy to use, and just a bit noisy (althought my blendor does make more noise) with just three pulses I chopped a bunch of nuts. The chocolate is a little hard to chop but it was okay too.
I recommend this product widely.
I had never used a food processor before, but was doing a detox diet where I needed to blend veggies and fruits. The shakes are on the thick side, and sometimes more like a chutney, but I never realized how easy it was to make hummus, guacamole, and salsa. This is perfect for 1 person/single servings. Lightweight, and easy to operate and clean. I've had it for 3 weeks and have used it way more than I thought I would.
This is my first food processor, and it will see a moderate amount of use. I've made a few things in it so far and it worked great! It is the perfect size for me, cooking for 2-4 people at a time. It looks nice on my counter top and cleans up very easily. The price was right, and I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product
I replaced a Kitchenaid that had broken. The Cuisinart works great, but the big plus is they have replacement parts. Everything will wear out in time. For example blades will dull. With the Kitchenaid I could not find replacement parts available. The Customer Service department would no respond to emails.
The Cuisinart has the ability to grind and chop. I make Horseradish and the mini processor handled the job just fine.

Was looking for smaller food processor...
We were looking for a smaller food processor for day-to-day tasks when cooking just for the two of us; one that we could keep out on the counter and wouldn't take a lot of room.
We got exactly what we wanted and the stainless steel case looks good also!
Nancee J. Swartz. The Cuisinart DLC-4CHB Mini-Prep Plus 4-Cup Food Processor is a mini processor that can prepare many different family meals by dicing vegetables and other produce. We have used it for orange juice and salads, but it has so many uses it is a good addition as a kitchen appliance. Very easy to clean and with non-abrasive dishwash liquid. I recommend it. Exceeds my expectations!
This is one of my best kitchen investments - I use it almost every day and think it's just about perfect. It's the perfect size for my household of one (me), and is perfect for all the traveling I do. It shreds greens, carrots & other produce within a few seconds. I make alot of raw food smoothies in my blender and the processor cuts the sizes down so my blender can handle the ingredients well. I debated between the 4-cup and the 7-cup; since I travel alot, I decided on the 4-cup. If I was located in one place for a long period of time, I would have bought the 7-cup, but for now this one is great & I like it exceptionally well.
I had a 3 cup Black and decker Processors. It was about $10.00 cheaper then this, but didn't do a very good job of doing anything! That one could not even chop Onions very good!
I bought another 3 cup processor, not knowing there was a 4 cuper.
I returned my 3 Cup, for this 4 Cup. its just the right size, I love this one.
I do not take out my big food processors anymore.
This is lite and easy to use. I do not leave appliances on my counter, but if you did, it does look nice.
It cleans easy, and so easy to handle.Everything clicks into place perfect.
One of the button makes this Processor go backwards, and the other one forwards. So everything gets chopped up evenly..
It will chop fine or just a little.
This makes great Salsa, etc. not mushie.
What I really use this little processor for is, We do not like Kale and leafy veggies like that.
When I make a soup, chile, stew, etc. I put veggies that my family does not like, and put them in the food processor, then put it in the food at the end, just to cook it.Also throw parsley in.
Nobody has complained. They just think its part of the seasoning.I know my family is getting Healthier food.
I gave this 5 stars, but the plastic seems very thin and would crack, but it hasn't.
I do Not put this in the dishwasher.."Handwash"..
I have had this for about a year. I bought this from Amazon..
Two Thumbs up..

Great Lil Food Processor
Works well, however with a bigger family the 4 just barely makes the cut. Overall we are very happy with the food processor.

Handy Kitchen Aid
This was bought as a Christmas gift and the recipient has told me several times how well it works and how useful it has been.
The young man also remarked upon how easy-to-clean it is. Since I have another, older brand of small food processor that doesn't clean up easily, I can appreciate that aspect.
Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants an efficient small food processor.
This is a great product to keep on the counter. It does not take up a lot of room and it's great for quick chops. Its easy to use and clean! Great for smaller projects.

4-Cup MUCH better than 2-cup!
Right after I removed it from the box, I knew I made the right decision. It's very nice looking, lightweight, narrow, and a good deal. The 4-cup is a perfect size to have around, especially when you don't have to lug out your larger/heavier processor for some tasks. I can now make hummus and other things with MUCH more ease because it's bigger than the 2 cup and smaller than the 9 cup!
My other Cuisinart was a 2 cup and around 10 yrs old. It still works even thought the display pad became ripped up a bit after several years of use. I'm glad I finally got rid of it because now that there's a 4 cup, these 2 cup ones will prove obsolete if they aren't already.

FANTASTIC PROCESSOR!!
I have a tiny kitchen so I was exceedingly weary of my huge processor. This Cusinart does the work of the large one much better. It provides all my food prep needs. It is easier to clean and very good looking. Since purchasing this one, I have given some as gifts and the recipients are very pleased.

Compact and perfect. There are only two of us in the house so I don't cook really elaborate meals. This little cuisinart is perfect for us. It has a four cup capacity which really if you think about it, is more than plenty. It does only have one blade and two settings, chop or grind, but I've found by tapping the button rather than holding it down you can pretty much chop, shred, grind just about anything. Well worth the money. I would reccomend it.

Similar Model is very Dangerous
I have had a similar model of Cuisinart food processor for about six years, and the blade recently broke off while in use, broke through the plastic container, and flew across the room. As a result of luck only, no one was in its path. Customer service had no real response; they suggested that I pay $20 to replace the broken parts.
An examination of the broken blade shows that this is likely to be a recurring problem with this model and any other Cuisinarts using a similar blade. It is clear that this structural failure is due to a lack of reinforcement of the blades at the point of riveting. The removal of material for the placement of the rivets, the thinness of the material, and the large amount of leverage placed upon the rivets by the longer blades led to the structural failure of the part. This failure could have happened at any time, and could have caused severe injury to the user. The tempering necessary to create blades that stay sharp is the same tempering that makes it impossible to have such thin, un-reinforced parts. The blades should either be made of thicker material, or have a wider section in the area of rivet contact to avoid failure.

Mini Cuisenart food processor
I bought this as a christmas present for my mom, then I found out my dad has a large one so I kept it for myself! I've only used it a few times but it works well and saves me time while preparing meals and desserts. I also like the sleek design and it is very compact so it will fit in small spaces in the cabinets.

Good little worker - early cracking
I chose this processor for our wedding registry - I ended up buying it myself. I saw it in person, so if you're just looking online, please realize that the "brushed steel" is just the color of the plastic body - it's very light weight. So 3.5 years later I had no complaints - usage was light - not even once a month. Then I started to prepare baby food when I noticed that the blade part had cracks in the plastic - and was discolored from food seeping into the cracked plastic. I ended up sterilizing it in boiling water and made the food anyway. It does work great for baby food! you just need a little liquid to get it to the fine puree stage. Now I need a replacement blade -left it too long in the sterilizing pot =(
