[+] 10.0 Very Good Crib
The crib came in a slightly damaged box but everything was accounted for. It was easy to set-up though the instructions could have been a little more clear. The wood seems to be sturdy and high quality. We have not fully tested the crib yet because our little one isn't here yet but I am sure he or she will love it!

The only thing I wish they would improve is to include tabs for the bolts on the outside so that it blends in with the finish.

[+] 8.0 Good Crib
The direction to assemble was adequate but could be better. After tightening the screws I could detect very slight wobble as in all assembled furnitures but the product is generally solid.
Made of good quality softwood pine all through except the drawer. The drawer-bottom is nothing but hardboard and there is a piece of wood that is supposed to support this wide drawer. This support is badly designed and is apt to come off from screws (you don't put a screw along the grain direction... always across!) Luckily I have a hand saw and drill and ran to HD to get a piece of construction moulding-like piece to replace that support at an angle under the drawer.

I also got a $99 Sealy mattress with it. After putting the mattress the bed-height is good enough even for a short person to reach and lift the baby.

As I checked today again, the price shows something like $400+! Must be a mistake... if not there are other web stores selling it for $270 delivered.

[+] 10.0 So Far I'm Impressed... The Cherry Finish is Beautiful!
I hadn't seen this crib in person before I ordered it from amazon.com so needless to say I was worried because shipping something back this large is nearly impossible and extremely costly. Overall this is a great crib. I have not used it yet because my baby isn't due for a few more months but I can say that it seems very sturdy and solid and the cherry finish is beautiful. The instructions aren't fool-proof but after about 2.5 hours we were able to get this crib set up. At first I didnt like the fact that the screw holes were exposed but another reviewer mentioned that the covers/caps for the screw holes could become a choking hazard so now I am happy they aren't covered. The crib was packaged very well and it arrived without any scratches or chips in the finish however we did scratch the crib near one of the screw holes when putting it together. This probably could have been avoided if we were more careful but after an hour or so we were just ready to get it done and started rushing. The included drawer is not great but it works. It is not made of real wood like the crib itself but it seems fairly sturdy and could certainly be used to hold extra bed linens.

[+] 10.0 Very happy with this crib
We are very happy with this crib. Due to reading the many comments about dings, we decided to go with the natural crib to help hide any flaws. The crib arrived in perfect condition, well-packed, and we didn't notice any dings during assembly. I agree that the directions could be improved. If you read all of the directions before beginning and figure out which hardware is which, it will go more easily.

To everyone complaining about wanting covers to hide the screws: they're a choking hazard! No reputable crib company would include them and it would be foolish to add them yourself. Remember, nothing so small that it can fit through a toilet paper tube is safe for baby. Anyway, that's my rant.

Enjoy the crib!

[+] 10.0 Grandma # 10
Very timely arrival of product exceeded our expectations for delivery. Product easily assembled (even though others had said was hard). All items fit perfectly including the drawer (again some had said there were challenges). Daughter is very happy with the design, workmanship, and how sturdy it looks. I am sure the baby will enjoy it come February. Also purchased the matching crib mattress which fit snugly into the crib, exactly how you would want it to fit. Very satisfied.

[+] 10.0 Beautiful and sturdy!
For the price, this crib was a steal! Beautiful and sturdy. Took my husband about 1.5 hrs to assemble. Delivery was fast too --- we were happily surprised when we got it just 3 days after ordering with free supersaver shipping. Packaging was ok and all the pieces were in excellent condition. The trundle is good-sized and the fact that the day bed conversion kit is included was awesome. We are very happy with this crib!

[+] 10.0 Quality written all over it!
I did alot of of research on cribs and found this one to best fit my needs. I am short and the bowed front helps with getting in the crib to lift a baby out. This is something I had not thought of before!
Assembly was fairly easy. My husband and I put it together in 2 hours. The crib is solid, stable and a beautiful honey oak color. One note - the drawer rolls on the floor under the crib and therefore does not have any 'top' to it. This could lead to dust on the items you store in there or a lovely nap place if you have cats! I would definitely recommend this crib and can't wait to watch my baby sleeping in it.

[+] 4.0 Very disappointed...
We were very disappointed when this crib arrived. If fact, it ruined what would have been a rather joyful day. Reminded us what poor quality everything is these days...and the lack of care in shipment, ugh!

There was damage (probably from shipment) in several places...knicks, dents, the more we looked, the more we found. We stopped looking b/c we were disgusted.

Then on the front of the main piece is this big smudge in the stain, looks bad and your eye goes right to it...can't blame this on UPS. Who inspects these things and sends them out like this?!!

Due to time crunch, we don't have the time (or energy) to return this crib, so we will learn to live with it and let it go...
but we will NEVER, EVER AGAIN, order anything of value from Amazon...NEVER! And we might just buy our books in real stores from now on...

[+] 10.0 Excellent Crib, some minor flaws
- The crib looks great when finished, we took the white color
- The packaging is not good when it comes, the UPS people had a lot of trouble getting it while avoiding things coming out of the box or damaging it
- Had some minor damages because of the bad packaging, I ignored it, but I do have a eye for dings and scratches, and it bothered me for a few days
- The drawer is not of same material, but its not too bad either
- The bolts can be seen, do not cover, but this is the case with most cribs I have seen in market
- Now for good parts, it looks great!
- The wood is great for the money I paid (241), but more than 250 you should not pay
- It was not too hard to assemble, but requires two people
- Open up a large photo of crib from internet to see before start assembly, as the instructions which come with it are not too clear
- The assembly instructions are tagged on to the back of the black frame, so keep an eye for it
- The drawer has a small bar to be attached to bottom, do not tighten it too much, else the drawer can get cracked
- The standard size mattresses fit easily, the crib is sturdy, I moved it etc and feels solid
- Giving 5 starts coz I am happy overall, but they can improve a lot in packaging

[+] 10.0 I love it!
This crib is beautiful and functional. I love it and appreciate the way it is built with the curve in front so that I don't have to worry about pulling down the side and then waking my baby up. Well built and a great crib!

[+] 8.0 2nd time was great
The first crib I received was completely scratched up from shipping. I opened the box and there were crib pieces and little tiny bits of styrofoam everywhere. However, I had no trouble exchanging it for another. Amazon arranged for UPS to pick the damaged one up from my house and I received a new, undamaged one in about a week. The crib is sturdy and fairly easy to put together. I did it myself in about an hour. Now I just have to wait for the baby to come. :)

[+] 8.0 Nice Crib
PROS - This is a great crib for the price. We ordered the crib in the oak finish and the color is true to the photo so it didn't disappoint. We were able to put it together quickly, the instructions are okay but it's a pretty simple assembly.
CONS - Not Amazon's fault but whoever shipped it damaged it extensively so we had to order another crib to replace the damaged/broken parts. They should package this type of furniture better to avoid claims.

[+] 8.0 Very Nice Crib
My husband and I are good students, we did a lot of research before deciding on this crib. Our homework included visits to Babies R Us and Jordan's, reading Baby Bargains, Consumer Reports, and reviews here on Amazon. We chose this one based on (1)Price (2)Quality of reviews/materials (3)Extended life due to conversion options (4)Preference for no drop-side (5)Availablity in a Natural finish.

Pros:
-Shipping was fast! We ordered on 8/11 and it arrived 8/19.
-Assembly was easy! I'm 31 weeks pregnant, and put it together alone in less than 2 hours with nothing but a Phillip's tip in my drill and the materials provided.
-It's sturdy and strong without seeming massive or heavy.
-It's attractive, natural pine and has graceful curves.
-Included toddler rail is terrific and extends the life of the crib.
-Included trundle drawer is nice bonus.
-You can order parts to convert to a full-sized bed, further extending the life of the crib.
-All-wood/metal construction.

Cons:
-Directions could use a little fine-tuning. I'm pretty handy, and they were not so clear. The wooden crib parts are not labeled at all, making it difficult to determine which side was which. I also ended up with extra parts. There were many more locking washers included (20) than were indicated in the parts list (4), and the instructions never told you how and when to use them. I used 4 when installing the metal platform, but didn't use the rest.
-Trundle drawer is pretty cheesy. Not that this should be a selling point of the crib, but it's mostly particle board, the under-drawer support is too short, and the total drawer size is tiny compared to the dimensions of the crib. No wonder they don't show it in the picture! Ironically, this was the only part that had any labels for assembly.
-Pine is a soft wood, and dings pretty easily. It arrived with a couple of dings, and I put a couple in it during assembly. This is to be expected and is a compromise we were willing to make based on the price.

Notes:
-This will be our first child, so we haven't used it yet, nor do we have much to compare it to besides other furniture.
-Someone less handy might have more trouble with assembly.
-Amazon told us it would arrive in January, but that probably was a SNAFU.
-Product is actually made by Million Dollar Baby, DaVinci is a sub-label of MDB. You can find MDB/DaVinci reviewed in the book Baby Bargains (which is an awesome resource, for the record.)

Summary:
Nice crib for the price, which is just what we wanted. Thanks!

[+] 8.0 Nice Crib
Crib looks nice once put together and is VERY sturdy. However instructions are less than desirable!! Horrible directions nothing is labeled. Someone dropped the ball in that aspect. Also scratches easily so be careful when putting together. Overall not bad for the money.

[+] 10.0 Nice stuff
The qualify of this crib is excellent. The pine wood is nice. I compare the crib with the wood furniture bought from IKEA. This crib definely has much better materials. I took about 2.5 hours to complete the assembly. Instructions are clearn and it is not hard to DIY. This bed is very sturdy. When I shaked it, it did not have any sounds.

One thing I don't like is the drawer. It looks so cheap because it is not made of solid pine wood.

[+] 10.0 BEAUTIFUL crib for our little girl!
My husband and I spent much time researching cribs and finally found this one online. We are very happy with the product as a whole. The wood is a TRUE cherry rather than the light look of the picture, and the directions were pretty straight forward. The only downside is that there was a large dig in the wood on the back of the headboard, but since no one will see it, we decided to keep it. Also, shipment was fast!

We would buy DaVinci products again and are very happy with this crib!

[+] 8.0 Davinci Parker Natural Crib
We purchased the crib for our daughter and son-in-law. The baby is due mid-July. It was fairly easy to assemble and looks good. We did write the manufacturer to see if wooden plugs were available to go over the holes and screwheads to give it a more finished look, but have not heard from them.

[+] 8.0 Awesome Crib!
This is an awesome buy on this crib. It is a really beautiful piece of furniture and I cannot wait until my baby is here so that he can sleep in it. I love that it comes with the drawer and the toddler bed rail. With free shipping you cannot find this great crib any cheaper. The only problem at all is that the finish came off in a few spots when it was getting put together but that can be fixed with a little furniture polish. Overall Great product.

[+] 10.0 Great Crib
I am very happy with this crib. We had a little bit of trouble putting it together but in the end I feel like it is very sturdy and I am very pleased with the way it looks. The price was unbeatable and I didnt realize when I bought it that it converts to a toddler bed and it came with a trundle drawer which was a nice little surprise. There was one missing part to the drawer but I emailed customer service about it and had the part shipped to me within a week so I was also very satisfied with the customer service aspect.

[+] 10.0 so easy to put together
It didn`t take long to put together at all. Maybe an hour. The only thing I noticed is that the holes the hardware went in didn`t come with the pegs to cover the holes to make it look finished. Other wise the crib is awesome. The color match was perfect
Thank You

[+] 8.0 BEAUTIFULLY SURPRISED
I bought this crib for a gift. It was easy to assemble and is as beautiful as the picture. The color was a true dark cherry.

We did have one problem with the crib assembly. The under drawer below the crib had an issue. The base or bottom of the drawer was NOT the right piece for this crib. We are waiting for the piece to come in. Other than that we are VERY happy with the overall appearance and workmanship.

For all you Ladies out there who don't have a MAN around at the time of assembly or don't want to wait!!! No worries!!!

As expectant mothers go...the nesting instinct has set in and my niece could not wait to assemble. We started assembly around 10:30 pm. After 3 hot flash sessions , cheese burger & tator tots, 1 air conditioning adjustment and lets not forget 2 potty breaks ...we had ourselves a crib! We laughed ourselves silly and hoped that no one was watching us.

We would assemble a part and move on only to realize...OOPs we had either turned a piece the wrong way or used the wrong part. These errors that we had were no fault to the manufacturer...We would have to blame it on sleep deprivation and seeing it put together with aside of excitement. We have placed a hint below for you.

Lay all the different nuts, bolts, brackets out before starting. Give yourself plenty of room. Make sure that the brackets, crib slats and bed frame pieces are turned in the right direction before starting this adventure...Looking at the images provided on the instruction sheet will help you with that.

May your experience be as wonderful as ours...with a splash of comic relief.

[+] 10.0 Stunning and solid crib
A quality crib for an affordable price! We love the shape and color of this crib. Assembly was fairly painless (except the instructions did not include the washers on the supply list so we ended up having to put the washers on one at a time after assembly). The rolling drawer that goes under the crib will be very useful. Comes with a toddler rail too for that transition in a couple of years. This is a gorgeous well-made crib that is the center of our nursery. Very highly recommended.

[+] 8.0 great crib
Very sturdy and easy to assemble. I had it together in about an hour. It was important to me to have a crib w/out a drop down side, and the swoop in the front really makes it easy to get the baby, but I'm 5'10 so I dont know how hard it would be for someone shorter. I misunderstood "pearl" white. From the picture, it looks like a true white so I just thought it was a sheen, but the crib is more of a cream.

[+] 8.0 nice color, nice shape, good size
I got this crib online after reading many reviews. It took us about an hour to assemble it, the instructions were not very clear but we managed. The crib looks great, solid and sturdy but not too heavy. The light color really makes the room look brighter. Our baby is not born yet so I don't know yet how the crib will do with constant use.
