Delphi Roady XT Home Kit ( SA10176 )

This was just what I needed. Set up was easier than expected and I haven'thad any problems. I love listening to my satellite radio at home! The product was shipped very quickly as well.

This kit is perfect for what I needed. Had the radio in the truck but on leaving the vehicle I wanted to keep listening. The home kit was perfect. Only one drawback make sure you have a clear unobstructed view of the South sky in North America. Highly recommended, loved the remote for touch free operation. Antenna cord was just long enough to reach from my desk to a south facing window in my boss' office. About 30 feet.

Great "little" package! Added to my home stereo system for sound, XM is a wonderful addition to a home stereo.

This is the perfect accessory to the xm car kit. I love being able to take the music with me anywhere. Business travel, vacation doesn't matter. Very easy set up, the antenna has a long enough cord for you to move around to get the best reception. The remote is a good item also for the lazy days when relaxing.

I bought this home kit for my Raody XT. This thing works great! The antenna it comes with have a very, very long cord so you can place your receiver almost anywhere and still have a clear shot to a window for reception. The remote control is nice too.

good product - the only thing is I need an adapter to hook it up to my stereo system and have not found it yet

The kit works great but I had trouble with the setup. Couldn't figure out how to get the home kit to send the signal to my receiver via RF. Other home kits for the Roady do this. So I have the RCA cable laying on my floor from my receiver to the antenna in the window.

The price was right, but the remote worked with the XT but was for a different model. I think it was substituted or an older version. Still happy with the overall purchase though.

I bought this kit for my Skyfi3 not the Roady and it works perfectly. I found that the Skyfi3 home kit cost 3 or 4 times more than this kit. With a simple internet search I found the correct base adapter for the Skyfi3 for $10.

All other components work exactly as they should. The AC adapter is the same voltage and had the same connector size as the Skyfi3. Also, the antenna has a standard connector and gets great reception as long as it's facing south. I even get reception with the window blinds closed. On top of everything, I did not expect the remote to work on the Skyfi3, but it does exactly what it should.

All in all a great product. I am very happy that Delphi had the initiative to make their products compatible with each other. Many electronics manufacturers lack this sort of common sense.

I also have the Altec Lansing docking station but I wanted to get this to tie into my home entertainment system. This is by far the best bang for the buck you can get. I can believe you can get this home docking station for less than $25.00. Mine came with the cradle, antenna, remote, power adapter, a cable (RCA on one end and mini stereo on the other), and two adapters for the cradle (one for the roady XT and one for another XM). It is not much else you can say about this except that it is definately a bargain, and it is very easy to configure.

The unit works great,I can hear non stop music in my house and car. Instruction were clear and it worked the first time. Larry

The Roady XM Home Kit was exactly as advertised. It had everything I needed to have XM radio at my fingertips using a home stereo. I couldn't be more pleased.

I am happy to have the home kit for my xm radio and it was packaged well and timely but I really wish every one would stop taking these things apart and selling each piece at an inflated price PLUS shipping. Really, am I supposed to be happy with that? It is also confusing to figure out that you need the docking piece that you didn't need before and none of the other cords fit and you will have to also get a car kit. Whose doing me any favors?

Pitiful that you can't transmit XM to FM on the home-kit. On the Roady 2 home-kit you could. Why did they take this important feature out? Good luck playing it on a portable stereo or boombox which doesn't take RCA connections!

This is a situation where you "have to have" so they "stick it to you" on the price. My 2 star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the item, but just with the price. You get the home docking station, an AC adapter, the home antenna, a cable and a remote. It just seemed a little weird to have to spend about the same as the radio itself to get items that you really need to enjoy your Roady XT at home. I think Delphi should sell a unit that has *everything* you need to enjoy Satellite Radio in your car and your home for a really fair price.

I wanted to set up XM radio in my home and wanted a second docking station for another part of the house. This fit the bill exactly. Very easy to set up and I was up and running in about 5 minutes. I would strongly suggest this product to anyone with a Roady XT radio and the need for a home docking station.

This was a good product. I was able to easily plug it into my stereo system. Love the included remote.

My husband and I have been XM subscribers for over two years. We love it. We used a Roady II Home Kit until August '07 when we finally had to replace it. We'd had such good luck with the Delphi Roady II that we decided to upgrade it to a Roady XT. It works great. I had it installed in less than one minute and after a quick equipment switch with XM, we were up and running again.

Exactly as expected. Remote is useful for use on the road. Audio cables may be too short for some applications, but the antenna wire is quite long.

When I bought my new car, it had builtin XM Radio, making transfer of my Roady XT from my old car unnecessary. The Home kit was just what I needed for using my Roady with my bedroom stereo. It works just as advertised.
Now, I'm the proud owner of 4 XM radios!

The XT home kit is excellent quality and you really get your moneys' worth. Instructions are easy to deal with. Everything works as advertised.

This antenna does have great reception. The greatest reception might not be exactly where the directions suggest...

At work I was trying it in the south window with limited success. Set it in the middle of my desk thinking I'd come back to it a little later and found full strength right there! At home we found placing the antenna in the south corner of an east facing window got perfect reception... not the south facing window as one might think.

This product allows use of your XM radio at home or work. Works great!

I am a newbie in the satellite radio world, but quickly became an XM addict after having the car kit for only a matter of hours. The home kit might even be better because there is none of that dreaded occasional static that comes unexpectedly when driving by any large objects on the receiving side of the satellite (insert proper term here if there is one). My only complaint lies with the remote - I didn't find it to be very user friendly, besides the radio screen is too small to see from more than a couple of feet away. I enthusiastically recommend this product to anyone considering the purchase!

This is an excellent way of moving your tunes from the car to your living room for Roady XT owners. I had no problems at all installing it on my home stereo and the sound quality was remarkable. I use it constantly and could not be happier. Perfect integration.

My wife and I are casino players, thus putting thousands of miles on our cars every year. After having XM Satellite in my car for a year, I bought 3 more units,for other family members including a home unit. Now, we have the music we WANT, whenever we want it, and never have to channel-hunt for in-car entertainment on trips.

The Roadie XT home kit was extremely easy to install, and the reception is outstanding. I simply placed the antenna near a south-facing window, kicked back in my recliner and started enjoying superb sound through my audio system. Highly recommended.

Easy set up and the high-gain antenna gets perfect reception when place 15' from a south-facing window.

I was stringing the antenna/cable up to the attic and set it down on the central AC unit. I went back downstairs to get a few more tools so I could finish off the antenna installation. My plan was to drill a hole through an attic wall that would give me access to the southwest sky. Before going back up in the attic I stopped and plugged the cable into the unit. I had FULL strength reception and the antenna was just lying in the attic without any windows. I went upstairs, attached the antenna to the nearest stud and haven't looked back. In south Louisiana, when the thunderstorms builtup, we used to lose TV satellite on a regular basis. We have gone to cable after losing TV signal 100's of times. But our Roady with its antenna in the attic hasn't lost signal once.

This is a good product, however it is my understanding from shopping at local electronic retailers, that it has been discontinued and therefore, some of the advertised accessories are no longer available. That's the reason I made the online purchase and give it a rating of 4 instead of a 5.

I purchased the Delphi Roady Car Kit from a website that had it at a crazy price...$5.99 !! With a 3 month family package at $20.00 a month. Total cost with shipping and handling...$51.53. I searched for the Home Kit in the stores in my area, but with no luck. Then I though...AMAZON !!! Total cost with shipping and handling...$28 and some change. Hooked the home kit to my stero, wait for the radio to update, about 1 hour, and I was then in business. Now, I want to be able to record from the player to an another device, on a timer fro when I am out of the house. I'm an electronic freak, so I give this hardware a 10 !! Set up was easy, learning the hardware's function was easy also.

This Home Kit does as advertised and it does connect your Delphi radio to your home stereo or any speaker combination. Everything works well and the connection is easy. If you are changing from a Sirius setup to an XM setup then you do not even have to change antennas. Just plug in the old one. The only improvement that I would make would to have included the ability to broadcast the radio signal wirelessly around the house, over an FM frequency, just like the auto unit and the Sirius home dock do.

I love this kit. It's half the price of some of the other kits I had found and it works great. I opened up the package, plugged in the audio wires to the back of the radio, plugged the AC adapter into the wall, plugged them into the cradle. Then I set the antenna on top of the stereo and plugged in the roady. It works great. I have better reception in the house than I get in my vehicle. And I can listen to all my favorite shows when I'm home.

An inexpensive way to get your XM radio out of car and indoors using your existing Roady XT device. Easy to setup and sounds great. Hooks up to any pre-existing sound system.

Good product - same as in local stores (in package) but at half the price. Worked as expected out of the box.

If you dont want this in your vehicle, I highly recommend this product.

With the kit, I enjoy XM radio right at home.

Absolutely love my Roady and the home kit makes it complete. Easy to install and easy to use.

It was extremely easy to hook up and it sounds great! The cost on amazon (around $25) was half of what I found elsewhere. For this price, it's a great buy. I don't know if I would have bought it for the $50 I saw at some sites, because that is pretty close to the original system's price.

Overall I am very happy with the Roady XT's homekit.

The Roady XT home kit is easy to set up and easy to use. If you've already wrestled with hooking up the car kit, you'll find this to be a piece of cake. The antenna even gets a strong signal well across the room from the south-facing window.

This kit is fantastic. Easy to install and it works great!!! I hooked it to my reciver and have great reception and sound quality. This allows me to use my XM Roady in my house as well as my car. Moving the radio from one to the other takes 15 seconds.

Worked great right out of the box. With the home unit the key was finding a location for the antenna. Once that was done, everything worked.

We have an XM radio with home kit. Love it. Bought my parents, and his parents, xm radios with home kits. Great success. Great gift. (They are not technologically inclined either.)

This product is quality, even the remote is slightly heavy to the touch and well designed. Easy setup and makes the Roady a true portable unit from home to vehicle and back again.

I don't know why I waited so long to get XM. This radio is just great. Easy to install in the car and then I take it inside to the Belkin boom box. I'm really pleased so far with this item. I've not had any problems at all.

This handy kit works well in any vehicle where an older type stereo with a cassette deck is used. The XM signal is picked up by a magnetic mounted antenna and transmitted through the stereo via the cassette deck. Simple installation. Unbelievable reception!
