works just as great as the $25.00 dollar each box that i purchased from office depot

Received this product from Abacus 24-7 - on time and in perfect condition. Installed the color cartridges about 2 weeks ago, but have not yet installed the black. No problems so far. Print quality seems about the same as the Brother brand cartridge that came with the printer. Assuming that this continues, I will definitely order this product again from the same supplier.

I purchased a MFC-490CW Brother Multi-use machine. On the same page was an advertisement for compatible ink for an attractive price advertised by eforcity. I ordered the ink package and when it got here it was for the wrong machine. I have contacted them, faxed them, called them and have been completely ignored. Again I assume the product is fine but how would I know? It won't fit into my machine.

good transaction and delivery. For whatever reason, the cyan color not longer functions. I think it got gumed up. I simply don't know if the previous Brother cartridge did it, or this new one did it.

Well anyone is probably going to be skeptical about this because of the price, but I figured what the heck, it's so cheep that I won't loose much money if it did turn out to be trash, well to my surprise it works great!

I was skeptical when I ordered these because the price was so low, but these cartridges are just as good as the name brand ink. I can't tell any difference in the colors etc. They installed easily. I have been using them for about three weeks, & so far no problems.

I bought the Brother MFC 490 printer in March 2009, that has been great wireless for our laptop as well, but when I purchased the Printer, this set of Ink Cartridges was suggested as an add on, the price was right, but I ASSUMED that the suggested cartridges would be capatible with the Printer I was currently buying, well 6 months later I finally need to use these add on cartridges only to find out that they dont fit!!! Lesson learned, never assume that the Amazon add ons are capatible to whatever you are buying, never will do another add on purchase again.

The price is great and the cartridges work perfectly in my Brother MFC-440CN multi function printer. I don't know how long the cartridges will last but at this price I couldn't go wrong.

These are so much cheaper than what I was paying before and I think they have actually lasted longer than the brother ones.

I am pleased with the ink I ordered and it work with my printer. I would order for this seller again.

The title says it all. Yes, it works perfectly on my Brother MFC465CN. I have not used the black ink yet, but all the colored ink have been installed on my printer.
I don't use my printer to print anything fancy. The quality of print is excellent for my day to day printing needs.

I decided to try these because of the amazingly inexpensive price and the good reviews. Never the less, I feared it would ruin my printer, as it was not approved Brother cartridge, or at best, give messy or poor results. I'm delighted to be wrong. Quality, ease of use, everything exceeded all expectations. I'll never waste money on name brands ink again.

NB I've not yet tried it on photo paper.

Great product. This is my second time purchasing these cartridges. They are good quality and seem to last long. I can't tell any difference between these and the name brand.

Like many, it's gotten hard to afford office supplies for my home based business. There's no way I could buy the brother cartridges right now, so I figured I'd check this out. The blank ink looks just like the brother ink, and besides the actual cartridge, there's absolutely no way to tell the difference! Same quality, ink level is still recognized on my computers. Fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to order more and definitely will in the future. This is the only time I didn't mind paying shipping and handling!

WOW!! these cartridges work awsome unlike the other review,this is definately compatiable with brother 465cn computer. Still can't believe you actually get 5 cartridges... but you do!No streaking,leaking or spilling! And the price... well that alone is unbelievable in itself.So don't hesistate because it's an "off" brand they work just as well,I actually ordered the 12pk!

This ink set does not fit the MFC-465CN! The box once it arrives clearly does not include the MFC-465CN on the list and it is a different form factor than the LC51CL ink set you really need! i bought two sets of these that do not fit. Do not waste you time/money on this one. It is particularly annoying that amazon includes a popup that says it does fit. It does not!

I have only been using this ink for about a month but it seems fine. I noticed it isn't quite as sharp as the manufactures ink, but would still recommend it.

Very surprised at the compatibility of this Ink Set. No drip, no fuss, no muss. I will purchase this again and again. The price is definately Right!

This set of ink works great on my Brother printer with no issues.

No streaks, no leaks - just perfect. Even printed some color photos on photo paper and it came out very well!

We bought 18 of these cartridges for our Brother MFC 440-cn printer and none of them fit the printer even though it is listed on the products box. Very irritating because Eforcity refused to take them back since it is over 30 days. (We purchased in Dec & did not need them until now.)
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY WHO LIES & DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PURCHASE ELSEWHERE.

I opened the package and completely expected what I ordered. For whatever reason some of the ink was coming out and got on my hand, but I wiped it off put in the machine and it has worked perfectly. No problems whatsoever since. Other than that the product was an incredible bargain and I could really care less about the ink on my hand. A little ink is better than paying [...] bucks more at a retail store.

These cartridges worked great with my Brother MFC-465cn. No leaking whatsoever and last the same amount of time as the ones that came with the printer from what I can tell. Don't be skeptical about not ordering the real ones from Brother, these are detected as manufacturer cartridges. You just can't beat the price even if they use ink faster, it will still cost you more in the end when purchasing the real ones from Brother.

Has been working fine in my printer, haven't had a chance to try any photo prints, but works fine for everything else.

I must be the only person who so far has a defective ink cartridge after only a week of use. It started streaking. Then it printed faded and unreadable. Now it's not printing in black at all - and I only installed the 1 black cartridge about a week ago. I don't do a tremendous amount of printing - a page, two or three some days, or maybe a few more once a week, if that, and other days I don't print at all - so this shouldn't have happened so soon. Now I'm afraid to see what happens when I attempt to use the other black cartridge and the 3 color cartridges I also bought. At the time I made my purchase, it was a great deal price wise. The ink was about $10, and with shipping it came to about $15 for the 5 cartridges vs. the $50-80 I would've spent in Office Max depending on my rewards and coupons, etc. Now the price has gone up - so if you can afford to spend twice, or three, times the price for ink and get the recommended by the manufacturer ink - do so! When I use the Brother LC51 ink, my cartridges last me about 1 or 2 reams of paper, depending on my printing. With this cheap stuff, I got thru less than 40 pages of printing, and then wasted about a dozen pages of paper trying to get the cheap ink to print. I'm back to the Brother ink cartridge now, and the printer is working properly again. It comes down to that you get what you pay for in my case, and I'd be happy to get that money back!

I'm not sure if I have this particular brand of 'compatible' ink but mine bleeds when the paper gets the slightest bit wet. I was wondering if anyone had this problem who has bought their ink from Amazon?

I know---Your first thought is that it is too good to be true. That is exactly what I thought; but one day early August my sister and I (knowing that my nephew wanted ink for his b-day and that her family, in general, uses a good bit of ink) decided to check Amazon for a deal. Amazon almost always undercuts everybody on their pricing. Voila! Better deal than we expected---good price, good reviews, and good rating on seller. We decided to chance the price of one name brand ink cartridge for a whole set (two black & one of each color). GOOD DEAL!!

P.S. I'm bad about not taking the time to write a review (good or bad), but I'm about to order some more ink and thought I should forward the good find.

All my ink that i have been using this has been the best for my brother printer.

I can hardly believe you can get SIX of these for one third the price of ONE brand new factory unit. Hell, stick a fork in us...we might as well all start learning Chinese. How DO they do this??? - Oh and by the way, they work great and no leakage as far as I can tell. The machine also recognizes them as the real deal, and shows the ink level.

Happy Customer with Ink and Shipping. No problem identified at this point of time after ink/catridge installation. Love to buy from Amazon rather to go and purchase refills from store or ebay.
