Epson T5570 PictureMate Print Pack, Glossy

Can't beat epson for picture quality and ease of use, just a bit on the expensive side

The "feature" that I do not like about this cartridge is that if you do not print a lot of pictures, or if you do not print often enough, the ink starts to dry out.

The last cartridge only produced 52 prints before it was empty. This works out to $0.55 per print (at Amazon's price).

Is this better than uploading them to Walgreens/CVS/Walmart/etc. and paying $0.19 per print and picking them up 1 hour later?

This product was as represented. If you use the PictureMate you know what to expect. My only wish is that Epson would make a cartridge that would last longer and print more pictures and also that the nozzles wouldn't clog if you don't use it for a month or so.

I purchased my wife the Epson PictureMate Deluxe Viewer Edition Photo Printer for Christmas. Though the printer is a few years old it is still top notch especially when paired up with their inks.

I'm always interested in a bargain and was looking around to see if I could find cheaper ink on the internet. Everywhere I looked I found many off brands and refurbished cartridges and what I found was not promising. If you compare reviews of this cartridge to any refub/off brand you will see that this is the way to go. There are two big issues with the others, quality, and compatibility. The overall printing quality is diminished when using no-name inks, and even if it does look good for the time being the shelf life of the image is less. As for compatibility a lot of refurbs and off-branders simply will not work in the printer. If you look at the cartridge it actually has circuitry in it. This means that Epson may have them "programed" a certain way to work with your printer and the other cartridges will not work if not properly programed.

As for print quantity the box states you will get roughly 100 photos per cartridge. So far we have been getting a great deal more. This is less the cartrige it self than it is the subject mater of your photos.

I am very happy with this product and I will continue to buy it for the life of our printer.

Love the print quality and speed. Gave 3 stars on ease of use, only because the ink cartridge doesn't last that long if not printing all the time. Just started removing the cartidge between printings to see if that improves how long it lasts.

I had to purchase this in order to test my printer. It worked great. The printer is slower than I expected but that is not the fault of the ink or the paper. The photo paper is great. My kids were playing with the pictures shortly after I printed them and they did not smear.

This product works well with my Epson PictureMate Portable Printer. I will purchase it again
when needing an ink refill.

It is very easy to order the Picturemate Print Packs from Amazon. However, when I load them in my printer and print a picture, they always show 3/4 full and not totally full. Makes them run out quicker . . .

Wow!wow!wow!tell me if there is any that can beat this printer. If there is ,it's a lie. I am using this printer, ink and paper for four years now and there is non that can match the quality that is produced by it. Perfect, fantastic,authentic,
the best ,oh my GOD, DON'T STOP PRODUCING IT , that is going to be the end of my life. I am from Guyana, South America, I make a good living with it , don't ask me, it is a secret. I love this printer, it's my life. Buy it every body, buy it, buy it, buy it, look I mean it.

I am very happy with the quality of the prints i am getting. it is easy to use and the colors and ink look great on the finished print. i can print my own pictures now for about the same cost as a photo lab. i like the kit that includes the ink cartridge and the print paper. i stocked up somewhat when it was on sale, which i will probably try to do in the future.

The Epson Picturemate produces high-quality, long lasting prints using the Picturemate Print pack. The print pack includes an ink cartridge and 100 sheets of photo paper and in my experience has never failed to produce at least 100 prints, usually more. By taking advantage of Amazon's supersaver shipping, the cost per print runs about 25-cents per print. While others may have the Print Pack at lower cost, the additional cost of shipping brings the total to more than the cost from Amazon and you can be sure of receiving a fresh product.

I bought two of these. The pictures each produced were heavily green tinged. I only printed a few pictures with each cartridge, using multiple software packages with an Epson PictureMate Deluxe. I bought this ink [...] The ink was only 60% full and the pictures came out green. If you need to but ink for your picturemate printer, but the ink in store. The return will be so much easier.

I bought the "Compatible" ink cartridge from LD 2500 Grand Avenue, Long Beach, Ca. It leaked. It didn't work. It was a mess. I will buy only original cartridges from now on.
The Epson Picture Mate is an excellent printer, however and produces hundreds of excellent pictures when the ink is good and the cleaning cycle is used regularly.

If you're going to print at home you can't go wrong with Epson printing paper! Great Quality

Epson says that you get 100 prints for roughly $30 or 29-32cents per print. Having gone through a whole bunch of their cartridges, this is bunk! At best you get through about 50 prints before the ink runs out.

These bundles of paper and toner are a suckers bet from the company forcing you to build up piles and piles of expensive paper. If they appreciated their customers, they would offer a solo cartridge option

I print a lot of 4x6 size for my work. I buy more paper separately and the cartridge last longer than what is on the box. I can extend to many packages of paper. If you are interested in purchasing a good portable printer, this is the one for the price.

I purchased the Epson picturemate several years ago. I recently purchased the refill pack and was so looking forward to printing my 2008 pictures. As I said...what a waste of time and money. The ink cartridge only printed about 50 pictures. Now I have a TON of paper, no ink. As you know, you cannot purchase the ink cartridge separately. I guess the printer will go back on the shelf and I'll be making a trip to the local big box store to print my pictures. Don't waste your money on this one!

I was disappointed with this product. After about 3 good pictures the ink started fading and the picture color was bad. Alot of expense for only three good ink prints.

This Epson paper/ink pack works great with the Epson Picturemate printer. I can print my pictures easily and quickly after an event!!! If the printer sits around for awhile it does take some time to clean it and you do waste alot of the ink in the pack.

I have been purchasing this product for some time. It is good quality at a good price and it arrives quickly. Once I bought something else in a store and the paper turned out to be cheap, thin stuff that was barely worth printing on.

It's for the PictureMate printer. It's pricey but that's how these printers are. I personally am looking into a bulk feed system for myself.

I actually took my memory card to a membership warehouse to have them print out my photos. But when I went to pick them up, I was very disappointed with the colors and darkness of the pictures. I decided to print them out myself since I already have a PictureMate. And when I did, the pictures came alive with the right color, shading, clarity that I saw when I took these photos. I am very satisfied and will continue to buy these printpacks and print out my own pictures!

Super pricing and well worth it. Easy to print several photos and not waste time or money.

I purchased this a few months ago. Almost from the start I got errors trying to print pictures. More often than not the first picture printed each time would come out with the wrong colors and lines going through the picture. I would then have to perform a cleaning a couple of times and then it would print normally. This problem was repeated every time I tried to use the printer. Now when I try to print, even cleaning it doesn't help. I keep getting error messages telling me to replace the ink cartridge, even though the cartridge is no where near empty. Maybe I got a faulty cartridge, but whatever happened I hate paying for something that never worked correctly.

Convenient way of making photos from your camera and keeping up with your children and grandchildren. Works very well with your Epson printer.

All I can say is wow, we love this.
My wife is addicted to printing photos of the kids.

The cartridge was not the best...it was only 75% full when I rec'ed it and I had to do maintenance a few times before getting good pictures ...I'm not happy with it; and I purchased two!!!

If I knew I was getting that quality I would have purchased refurbished cartridges...

This expensive original Epson ink cartridge is worse than the cheaper substitutes. The cartridge is factory sealed when I got it but the ink was only 40% full plus the color is also aweful. I don't think it was my printer as I cleaned the printer head several times and the color is pale (no green tint). My wife didn't like the prints I made, and she has to throw them away, it is that bad.

Next time I will just buy the cheaper replacement substitutes.

This really is a great product and the shipping was decent, however the pricing isn't much better than just going down to our local office supply.

A very good solution to print 4 x 6s at home. Good color. The printer could be faster, but it's OK.

I agree with the WARNING review: It is simply unacceptable that the package does not clearly state which printers are compatible and which ones are incompatible with this product.

Product arrived promptly. Only problem is that the expiration date of this product is 10/07 and I ordered it 1/31/08. I haven't used the product yet. I am hoping since the package is all sealed up, there will not be a problem. Perhaps it should have been noted that the expiration date had expired?

The package comes with 2 packs of paper and one pack of ink. Good value overall.

I was very pleased with the colors that this color cartredge produced as compared to our local photo store. the pictures were so clear and vibrant. Definately worth the money.

Office Depot lost the contract for this Epson printer.
Amazon is the only place I have found replacement ink. Thank you Amazon. The new Epson is available at Best Buy and is no where the quality of the TravelMate Deluxe.

The local Staples and Office Depot charge way too much. Staples has gone up from $28 to $32 in the last couple of years for the same picture pack. This is a much better deal.

The product is high quality, I have printed many pictures on it and the quality is excellent.

It is the best paper for photos. Dries quickly and pictures come out looking as if you went to have them developed elsewhere.

We are very happy with the color we get from our pictures with this ink. We received it from the manufacturer within just a few days after ordering it on line. We are very satisfied.

I was leary to try this product but after reading all the reviews decided to give it a try. I love it! It is easy to use and the quality of the pictures is very good. Compared to having to take the picture card to the store to make copies it is a breeze. I find myself printing more pictures and sharing them I would have before. A great product!

Have enjoyed making my own copies. The quality of the paper and especially the color prints are magnificent. I am very happy with the products.

An excellent product. It works perfectly with at least 3 models of the Epson Picturemate printers, producing clear, crisply-defined photos. The ink cartridge is said to be good for the 100 photos that you can make with the paper in the T5570 package, but it gets even better. my experience has been that the cartridge is good for about 30 or more photos than that, which means that if you buy a pack of 4 by 6 paper together with the T5570 package, you could, if you shopped the sales, save even more when you do your own photos. I see where Epson has now dicontinued the Picturemate, replacing it with newer products. I hope they keep producing the T5570 package for the Picturemates already in the field. This has been an great combination. After buying my Picturemate, I recently bought two others, at closeout prices, for my nieces. All units work flawlessly.

Picture quality is nice and ink is not too expensive.
But if you don't use it often, you need to clean it all the time,
that cost ink. Also don't install ink cartridge with power on ,
that will render the cartridge useless.

I have used this a lot. I left a few photos in the direct sun light just inside a non UV filtering window for over a year with no noticable fading !! Great color and the prints dry very fast. I usually get over 140 prints out of the ink cartarage. I tried HP paper from Sam's. It came out of my Epson Picture Mate sticky and foggy.
