This new hose is definitely an upgrade from the one I originally purchased with my grill. My first one went bad and all the gas leaked out of my tank. The end that connects to the yank is easier to grip. Great product.
Bought this and used with CGG-200 Cuisinart Grill. Just a little bit short as I will not be able to run it through the base grill for neat appareance. Other than this, good quality, and would buy it again.
We live where there is a significant squirrel population and this is the reason for the purchase. So far so good - critters have left it alone.

Perfect adapter hose for Weber Q 200
Perfect solution to constantly replacing the small disposable gas canisters. I live in south Florida and use the grill all the time. The last plastic hose was done in by the sun and wildlife here - the sun made it become stiff & brittle. Then the critters started taking bites out of it. I bought this for my Weber Q 200 and it is just the right length to reach a 20lb tank on the ground as my Q200 sits on a table. Plus the stainless casing has forced all the neighborhood critters to find another grill to chew on! It was delivered 2 days earlier than promised, even after all the bad weather here!
I like the fact that it's braided. Very strong yet flexible enough. I'm using it to replace disposable bottles wherever possible.

stainless steel propane hose adaptor
We are hoping that after three rubber, corded and plastic coated hoses, this stainless steel hose will slow the squirels down! It seems sturdy, flexible enough,and just the right lenth. Shipment was prompt.

Works perfect on the Weber Q Grill
I have a Weber Q grill since spring. You can go through the 1 lb tanks pretty quickly, much faster than I thought when I purchased the grill. After reading other reviews about the rubber hose being chewed by animals, the braided stainless hose seemed perfect to use with the larger 20 lb. tanks.
I got the hose and have been using it for about 2 months. No problems whatsoever. It's only a hose, there are no regulators or valves, so I can't imagine why anyone would have it just quit working for no reason. There is a warning on the tag attached to the hose to open the tank valve slowly. The local propane company where I got my tank filled said there is a safety that shuts off the flow if the flow-rate gets too high. This is to prevent accidents arising from broken regulators on the grill or other large leaks in the system.
Excellent product and very easy to use. Don't have to worry about squirrels eating throught the metal wrap on the hose! I highly recommend it.

propane hose adapter
Needed something to prevent the squirrels from chewing on the normal gas grill hose. This item does the job well. I was not able to find anything like it locally or even the company I ought the grill from.
It stopped working after 3 uses. I had to resort back to the rubber hose- which works great! After troubleshooting every component of system because no gas was being supplied to the ignition, I removed steel hose and replaced it with the rubber one. It worked like a champ.

Simple but high quality adapter for 20-pound tank for small LP grills like the Weber Q-series that normally take one-pound canisters. Braided stainless steel hose shield prevents gnawing by critters.
A solid hose. The metal sheathing means it feels likely to last, unlike our Weber brand hose, which got chewed through by critters.
