[+] 10.0 Worked for me
We left our plug at a hotel who said no one ever turned it in, so we bought this and had no trouble at all with it. It came quickly and works great.

[+] 2.0 Worthless on my 2 vehicles
Wouldn't stick on my 2 vehicle ('95 4runner and 2000 Jetta), maybe because of the curved windshield. Bought the bean bag and am very happy with that. It's the way to go IMHO. You can than hide it when you leave the car leaving no telltale apparatus to tempt thieves.

[+] 8.0 Not quite an identical replacement...
I ordered a replacement for my suction-cup and A/C adapter in hopes that it would fix the periodic power-losses I am seeing with my Nuvi 660. I had my previous cable strung underneath my dashboard and up to the lower left-hand corner of my windshield which resulted in just a little bit of slack. However, when I went to replace the cable, I found that the A/C adapter cable that comes with this product is about 6 inches shorter than the stock cable that came with my Nuvi. It's not long enough to work with my current configuration...and I will now have to find an alternate means of mounting my Nuvi.

[+] 2.0 Falling Off
After 8 months of using it (removing and reattaching) to my windshield, it starting to keep on falling off the windshield of my 2004 Toyota Sienna. It seems to be happening similar to the original suction cup that came with my NUVI 660.

[+] 10.0 a good option
This has proven to be an excellent option. It is convienent and works perfectly. As I am using it in a small roadster, I do wish it had a coiled cord.

[+] 10.0 Traveling easy...
I really like my new Garmin Nuvi 660...I just wish I'd been smart enough to read the details and understood that it came WITH the carrying case, dashboard mount, and suction cup mount! I foolishly ordered those along with it, not realizing they were included with the unit...shipping is so expensive that I didn't return them...just kept them in case I need a new one in the future. I'm very pleased with the user-friendliness of the product and the size of the screen. Some of the street pronounciations are downright laughable, but I always know what she's referring to ;-).
I'd recommend this unit to all.

[+] 6.0 Doesn't Suck...
I just love my Garmin nuvi 660. I don't love this mount. I have attached the suction cup to windshields and to the bundled plastic disc, but I haven't found a way to secure the mount reliably. Changes in temperature tend to cause the suction cup to loosen, causing the Garmin to tumble. Once in a parking lot it managed to fall on the emergency blinker button, leaving my car blinking for hours. Once while I was driving it fell to the floor around the accelerator pedal. Not good. My suction cup, in short, doesn't suck...

The reason I purchased a replacement was because the original ball-and-socket joint failed. It might have become damaged during one of its tumbles.

[+] 10.0 Suction mount
Exactly as the original, swivel and suction design well thought out, excellent functionality. The 12V adaptor could use an L-bend or freely swiveling base.

[+] 10.0 Garmin Suction Cup Mount with 12-Volt Adapter for Nuvi 660 (010-10935-02)
Good product for the right price. What you need to share your GPS between two cars without constantly detaching the mounting.

[+] 8.0 Best there is
Garmin Suction Cup Mount with 12-Volt Adapter for Nuvi 660 (010-10935-02)

This is the best mount that I can find, however, it's not perfect, so I took off one star.

The good news is that the mount really holds to my dashboard. A lot of 3rd party units will pop free. You can mount it with a temporary sticker or a permanent sticker. I used the temporary one and it works fine. It's also superior in that it does not obscure the driver's view.

On the downside: It's a little awkward to plug in and remove your Garmin GPS unit.

Also. sometimes the ball mount (the part the GPS connects to, separates from the suction cup section as I'm trying to connect or disconnect my unit. It can easily be plugged back in.

It's nice to be able to swivel your GPS to suite each driver.

It's compatible with the GTM-10 and 20 road status systems.

All in all, it works and is a much better solution that the 3rd party products in the market.

[+] 10.0 Garmin Mount Kit for Nuvi 660 GREAT IDEA!
Great Kit! Comes with everything you need to set up your Garmin in a second vehicle. All attaching hardware and lighter adapter included. I used mine in a second vehicle so that I don't have to transfer everything to switch it over in seconds to our other car. Just move the pocket sized GPS from first car to our second car in about 5 second. Love It, and this kit costs MUCH LESS that trying to purchase parts at a retail store. It will save you A LOT OF MONEY and TIME if you would like several cars setup and ready to move your Nuvi 660 back and forth.

[+] 8.0 just what you need for another vehicle
Original mount kit. The only thing that can make this better would be a way to wire direct in dash with fuse.

[+] 10.0 One for each car
This is exactly what we were looking for and could not find at local retailer. We keep it in my spouses SUV so we can easy use the 660 in either car on weekends. No traffic receiver of course, but not really needed on weekends either. The price was also very good compared to some of the other options.

[+] 10.0 Garmin GPS mount & charger.
This is just what I ordered & wanted. It is a duplicate for the window/dash mount supplied with the our Garmin nuvi 660, and allows us to easily move our GPS from one car to another. Couldn't be happier.

[+] 10.0 Works for the Nuvi 650 as well
Bought this as a replacement for my new Garmin Nuvi 650 suction mount that got stolen. This is a good bargain considering that it would cost you 90 bucks to buy these from the Garmin site.

[+] 10.0 Extra Mount for the road trips.
I recently received the new mount w/12V adapter for my NUVI 660. It's been on a few trips with me and I have had no issues on the unit. The set up is fast and easy. The thing you need to watch is in warm climates, the suction cup may become adhered to the windshield of the car if left in the sun too long as my previous mount did in Texas. Remember to remove it when you reach your destination.
