Grand Ghirardelli Chocolate Gift Basket

One of my friends spent a lot of time helping me with a project. She unequivocally said this gift basket made it worth her while!

This item arrived quickly, and my baby told me it was jam packed with heaps of great chocolates and she enjoyed them very much. If my baby is happy then I am thrilled. I would use this company again...and I ordered it from outside Sydney, downunda....AAA+++

As a follow up to my review below - I emailed and called the merchant through Amazon's website and the merchant promptly emailed and called me back to apologize for their mistake and to immediately send me a replacement item. Apparently it was a mistake from their warehouse and not a third-party that put the items together. Kudos to the merchant for their fast and personal response to my issue!

So I meant to buy this basket for my sister for her birthday, but mistakenly shipped it to myself because of Amazon's easy one-click purchasing that I didn't even think about putting in the correct address. Once I figured out my mistake, the basket was already on the way to my house in California and rather than delay the basket further since it was for her birthday, I sent another one to her in Indiana.

When I received my "basket" it was a gift box with all the stuff in it wrapped in plastic wrap and NOT a basket. When my sister got her gift it was actually a wrapped basket with a bow and looked very much like the picture on Amazon. Totally weird but I guess [...] farms out the work to local merchants to put together. NOt sure why otherwise I would get a box and she would receive a beautiful basket for the same item ordered. I'm happy SHE got the pretty basket though.

I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE.. I OREDERED ON DEC 16 AND IT ARRIVED ON DEC 29TH. IT DOESNT EVEN LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE BEAUTIFUL BASKET THAT IS DISPLAYED AND THERE ARE MANY THINGS MISSING/. NOT ONLY WAS I SO EMBARASED THAT I COULD NOT GIVE MY NEIGHBOR HER PRESENT FOR CHRISTMAS , NOW I HAVE THIS PUNY THING TO GIVE , WHICH IS NOT WORTH $40... IM GONNA TRY TO GET MY $$$ BACK... THIS IS THE LAST TIME I EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.!!!!

I bought this as a present for somebody. and I really liked the way it was pakaged. I dont know how the stuff is inside. but from the outside it looks like real good stuff..

Well, you can just do what I've done and send a basket chock full of these top-of-the-line Ghirardelli Chocolates. The gift is packed with a delightful assortment of chocolates and the recipient will be thankful forever... Well, at least until that last delectable chocolate is eaten.

I had sent this as an Anniversary gift for my brother and my sister-in-law, The gift was well appreciated and the assortment was good, with the gift basket being decorated well and no transit damage or defects observed.
I would have given this 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the time to customer, took nearly 2 weeks, which i felt was a bit on the higher side even by regular shipping mode.
This is more like 4.5 stars, its a great gift item, but remember to order well in advance, so that it will arrive on the date (time frame) that you intend.

I ordered two of the Grand baskets and although they arrived within a few days, one of the baskets was completey destroyed! I e-mailed the company to see if they could reship a new basket before Christmas which was now about a week away. When the new basket arrived it was about 1/4 the size of the first and had very little selection. Needless to say I will not recomend this company or buy from them ever again.

I sent this gift to a friend, she just loved it, and the basket was expecially beautiful too.

It was a huge hit for staff to receive this for a job well done. Everything arrived in good shape despite the summer heat! Can't go wrong with this gift.

I've purchased this as a gift twice; it arrived in a timely-enough fashion both times. While I haven't seen the item, I've been told it's a very nice basket. Ghirardelli chocolate is just fine, and there seemed to be enough of it in the package.

My now-fiance proposed to me at Lucas Vineyards in New York, and they were so great, coordinating the whole thing...we sent them this as a thank you gift. We got a very enthusiastic thank you letter from them...apparantly, they loved this basket! I'd get this again.

I ordered this online for a coworker who loves chocolate. The basket arrived very fast, was packed great, and the presentation and variety in the basket was the best! If you are looking for a great chocolate gift basket...I recommend this one.
