Hoover 40201190 Vacuum Cleaner Belts

I ordered these belts from Killdirt and initially was discouraged to see that amazon charged like $5 for shipping and the shipping actually cost 65¢ on these belts. I left a bad review (2 Star) and was contacted the very next day by the company asking what they could do to make me satisfied with my order. I was very pleased with the woman I spoke with who really seemed like she wanted to help. Just talking with her was enough to make me realize they are a caring company.

The belts, I have not actually used yet because the vacuum is still brand new but They look perfect.

If your ordering belts for a old vacuum, you need to know that the part # for the old hoover belts have been changed from 38528040 to 40201190. These belts are the 38528040. 40201190 is just the new part number. They are the same belts. Hope that helps. I had to do a lot of research to figure that out. Changed my belts and my vacuum was as good as new!

I needed a belt for an older vaccuum cleaner. They had older part number referenced as well as the newer part number. The belt shipped fast and does the job.

I ordered this belt with expedited delivery (because I really needed to vacuum my carpets)! They charged me over $10 for the delivery and yet it took almost 2 weeks to arrive. What a rip-off! If you order from this supplier don't pay extra for faster delivery, its a waste of money!

These belts are hard to find! I looked all over town before coming to Amazon, and of course here I was able to find exactly what I needed, at a very low price.

Shipping was very quick, and the belts were received in perfect condition.

I purchased these for my old Hoover vacuum cleaner. They are exactly what I wanted and I saved a lot of time and gas not having to run around town looking for them.

Our vacuum stopped working one day, and my wife was upset about it. I dismantled and found it was a belt. Ordered it from Amazon Marketplace for just 4 bucks. Got 2 bands and now I have a spare as well. The vendor delivered it on time and the part was accurate.

My friend gave me her old vacuum because she said she couldn't get belts for it anymore. I did a little research and had to cross reference information from other vendors to find that the part number is different but they still make the belt (38528-027 = 38528-040). I was blessed that on Amazon I could get a 2 pack (again, a different part number 40201190) for such a great price. Belts work perfectly and vendor provided excellent service!!!

$5 for belts, but $20's S/H for an 82 cent package. Cheaper to drive to Walmart.

The belts have not been used yet but I'm glad to have been able to purchase them.

These vacuum cleaner replacement belts are quite elastic. Since they are designed for a particular model, they seem to be the best available.

I owned the same Sears vacuum for the past 15 years, and in need of a replacement. I saw this one, bought it, sight unseen. When I received it, it really was simple to put together. When I used it, I, finally realized all the stuff I was NOT picking up with my old one. Bottom line: I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to others.

The belt works great and appears to be better manufactured than the Hoover factory belt.
The only complaint i have about this product is that there was no descriptor that indicated that "1" purchase provided 3 belts. I ended up with 9 belts when i chose a quantity of 3. Great deal in any case since the cost of 9 belts was about the cost of 1 or 2 belts from Hoover, Win/Win for me!

Just as a heads up - open up your vacuum before you buy this and make sure that the belt hasn't just come loose rather than broken.
