In-Car 7"-10" Inch Portable DVD Player Case Attaches to Rear or Front Seat

I needed a dvd player case for car and train trips. this case is perfect.it straps to the back of a seat in a secure manner.the material is very sturdy.the case is roomy enough for the player, extra dvds, plugs, etc. nice color, too. it also fits a netbook with room to spare.

We have an Envoy & we placed the DVD player in between the front seat. It worked perfectly & was so easy to install. We have a 9 inch Sony DVD player & it fit great even though the bag goes up to a 10 inch DVD player. There are Velcro straps inside the bag to hold it in place if your DVD player is smaller than the 10 inch.

This case is about 2 inches too long and 2 inches too wide for my 9" DVD player. The paperwork that came with it says that it is a case for a NetBook or DVD player. It may be perfect for a NetBook or a 10" DVD, but my DVD player is very loose in there, and I don't want a bigger case than needed. I use the DVD player for flying, and wanted the case to fit inside my carry-on, not for it to be another carry-on.

This case is nicely padded and seems to be of good quality, but I think a few improvements would make this a great case.

Pros: Quality, decent dvd storage area, fits nicely between the car seats, has good carrying handle, nice storage compartments, good price, and the kids love the idea of watching dvds in the car now.

Cons: The securing straps are way too long and cause instability (I need them to be a little shorter, but there is no adjustment in only out), the inside color is really obnoxious (why not black or gray?), should have a little hole in the bottom for the power cord to snake through, bottom dvd storage area has one zipper where two would be appropriate for easier access, my 7" player is way too small inside the case (probably great size for a 9"-10" player), and it would be nice if it could attach to the center counsel.

I have had a small DVD player that I use in my car when the grandchildren are on a long ride with us. I have tried many different ways to attach it to the seat, between the seat etc. All have been pretty much disasterous. I fold this holder for the dvd player on Amazon that I would solve my problem. It is sturdy enough and stable enough for the grandchildren to enjoy their movie.

All I can say is; smart design, excellent quality, excellent price, and ease of use & portability. Excellent buy!
Out of many options on potable cases on Amazon, this was the only one that had everything I needed. I purchased the Sony DVP-FX930 9-Inch player and later this case for my husband as Christmas gift. He travels a lot and needs a case that can hold his Sony player, and his BOSE headphone (which comes in its own case), and other accessories. This case holds it all! I looked at other cases, but they only had room for the DVD player. You needed to purchase another case for other accessories. My husband and I are very satisfied with this purchase. We were traveling on a weekend and I was driving, he decided to watch a movies with my niece and used the traveling case for the first time and loved it. We have used it in the front and rear seat. It is very sturdy. We have also used it in the plane, watching our own DVDs to pass time. I highly recommend this to people with kids, you don't have to worry about any damages to your DVD player!

My wife ordered it for Christmas, thinking that the DVD Player was included as per the ad.

We returned it. And, the Shipper was very nice about it, when I pointed out the ad content.

BUT, the CASE was of very good quality, if you already have a DVD Player to put into it.

This case is much larger than described. The interior is actualy 11.5 x 9.5 inches. The exterior is 12.75 x 10.75 x 4.5 inches. Why buy a small DVD player only to carry it around in a big case? It's much too large for my Sony DVP-FX930. I'm sending it back ASAP.

I bought this for my husband to hold his portable DVD player. Both the player and this case are his Christmas present and he hasn't used it yet, but this carrier is very well built and appears to be exactly as described in the product descriptions. I'm looking forward to being able to use it on long car trips.

This bag is perfect to take the DVD player with you and great to put on the headrest in the car. It fits the 9 in SOny DVD player perfectly. Smaller ones would fit good as well.

Worked pretty well! Hard to hang it between our front seats because they are not set at the same level so we just set it on the console in between. Our son sits in the middle of the backseat so hanging on back of seats wansn't an option. The case is well made and holds all of the cords, remote, and a few DVDs. The dark color made it easy to hide in the car. Our only wish was that there was a way to strap it to the center console, like a larger velco strap.

I previously purchased a DVD player from Costco and wasn't happy with it. I especially didn't like the case that was provided. The DVD player sides were exposed. It was returned and I purchased the Sony 9 in DVD player I then decided to purchase this case for it due to the reviews and descriptions. The Sony DVD player has the battery located on the bottom and I was concerned that it might not fit with the extra thickness but it did. It fit perfectly with the Sony DVD player like it was custom made for it. It has a nice roomy pocket for accessories like charger and remote. The pocket has built in slide in pockets for DVD's. It zips completely with nothing exposed. The handles are sturdy and the straps are versatile and have clips on both sides for different variations easily. They are easily adjustable. The bag itself has extra reinforcment and there is nothing flimsy about it. I had also checked Walmart and Target stores for their DVD player cases and this was by far the best choice. Very happy with this purchase!

This case was just what I was looking for. It's versatile in how it can be installed and it is compact but still has enough storage space for all the essentials.

This is simple to use portable case that is very easy to attach to the headrest of your vehicle. We wanted something we could use for those long car rides to keep the little one occupied and this does the trick. It's very reasonably priced and is good quality. This case fits our 9" sony portable dvd player wonderfully. The case is big enough to hold the dvd player, all the accessories that came with it (remote, car adapter, wall charger, and A/V cords). I bought this for car trips with my 18 month old. It keeps the dvd player at a good height and out of reach of prying little hands.

I appreciated the quick shipping. The case is good for what it's for -- holding a portable DVD player and the accessories. I could not quite figure out how to set the holder to hang from the backs of the front seats so that both kids could view the movie. They ended up holding the player in their lap, but the case did help in cutting sun glare from the sides.

I ordered a Sony portable DVD player and needed a case that would keep the AC and car charger in one case. The power cables all fit in the side pocket (which also has slots for several DVD's.) Case is very light and looks nice. We didnt plan to use it over the seat so cant comment on that... but we are happy. One less star is concern that the zippers will not hold up, but for the price thats a small concern.

This product is easy to use and does the job in which it was intended. There are plenty of storage spaces for the remote and cables.

The product is exactly what I was looking for. We have a long drive from home to school everyday and my daughter is not bored at all while watching her favorite movies and I'm quite glad because she doesn't have to carry the Dvd player on her lap all the way. It was a bit difficult to attach the case to the front seat first, but the instructions were quite helpful.

The material is strong but DOES NOT fit 9" and I seriously doubt it could fit all 7" portable dvd's.

This case keeps my passengers ocuppied. Easy setup, has a bunch of space for extra dvd's, my camera and ipod. Very convenient.

This portable DVD player case is a must have...it's small enough to carry everywhere and has enough space to fit a few dvds and the charger.We had a hard time finding a case that was made for our SUV (Nissan Rogue) and for a rear facing carseat. It stays securely on the headrest and fits nicely under the seats. I would recommend this to everyone!

This is a durable case, and the strap formation makes it easy to use in the car. It has room for four DVDs (removed from case and inserted into slots) in the side pocket, as well as assorted cords and straps. It's flexible in that it can be used between the seats, so everyone in the back of your vehicle can see it, or strapped to the back of one front seat for one viewer to watch. The downsides are that the case doesn't stay open at a 90-degree angle, so the bottom moves up somewhat and can push your DVD player closed a bit. (If you've got a DVD player that resists closing, this probably won't be a problem for you.) I also would have liked room for more than four DVDs in the side pocket. Overall, though, it's among the best out there.

This a great product for the price. The only issue I have it is that the front bag rings used for the straps were placed on the wrong side of the front corner stitching. So, the straps kinda slide to the middle/back of the bag when trying to mount between the seats making it horizontally unstable. I'll either remove the stitching, but the rings on the correct side, and re-stitch, or find some other rings (...key-chain rings would probably work fine). BTW --- Accessory Genie was excellent in addressing this issue to my satisfaction. The offered to replace, but really, it's such a small issue.

I really like this case. Not only does it hold everything you need for your DVD player but it also attaches to the back of a headrest. It is easy to keep everything together. There are pouches to hold the adapters too. We have used this product for about a year and a half. We use it regularly for our son when we go see family. A must buy for your DVD player.

It is the perfect carrying case for our portable DVD player. The player fits snuggly and there is just enough storage to carry a few DVDs and accessories. It's not too bulky so we carry it with us everywhere we go.

We just switched from a dual screen DVD display to a single DVD and used this case to hang between the two front car seats. We were concerned that the kids would not be able to see the screen as well, but we heard no complaints from the back seat, which made the trip go much faster!

This product has worked out so well for me & am really glad I purchased it. I have a 6 month old whom despises being in the carseat at this point. I purchased with a Sony portable DVD player for my kids to use while on long trips. It is good quality but installation and functionality are quite precarious. It does not allow the view screen to expand beyond 90 degrees which is aggravating at times. Good storage area and the duel speaker plug is very nice.

Straps were a bit confusing but there are so many ways to make it work it turned out great for a 12 hour trip.

this case is very easy to use and very durable!! The dvd player sits very nice on it and the angle is perfect for the screen. You also can store all the acessories for the portable dvd player in it, including space for a few favorites dvds.

We recently purchased this for our kids for a road trip. What a lifesaver! A money saver too! We only had to purchase ONE dvd player and hang it up behind and between the front seats and all 3 kids could watch it at the same time. We bought the Belkin headphone splitter for $3.50 so we could plug 3 headphones in. It takes a few minutes to fiddle with the straps so you can get the right height and placement but once you get it you are good to go! Would recommend this to everyone!!

The portable DVD case is sturdy and made with good quality. It has enough compartments to hold plugs, remote controls, etc. and has four slots to hold DVDs. We tried to hang it from the back of the front seat but it seemed to constantly shift from side-to-side. So, instead of hanging it, my toddler holds it in her lap when watching DVDs. It also fits between the front seats, which is helpful if two kids are watching in the back seat.

We travel via the car quite often with two little ones (5 and 2 years). As we often need a break - and so do they - we bought this to hold a rather nice DVD player that we bought for our trips. We only have one, as we discovered that cheaper wasn't better and put a lot of money into one good one, and we needed a safe location for it. This DVD case does the trick. PROS: It keeps the DVD player stable but allows for easy viewing for both girls. CONS: It is a bit tricky to install, however, between figuring out the directions and then finding the best configuration that works for the car's layout. In addition, it is definitely not for 2-door cars where the seats may need to be adjusted. We used it in our 2-door SUV, and as you have to pop the seats forward to get the kids out, it wreaked havoc with the case's configuration. Eventually, we had to have the oldest hold the DVD player for the both of them and just take the case out, as the readjustment caused all the straps to get completely boggled.

Overall, we are happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

I like this case. It is nice in order to attach to the seat or in the middle of two seats when traveling. It holds the player and the attachments and some DVD's. The only bad thing is that it doesn't hold a lot of DVD/CD's so you still need a seperate case for that. But this is a much sturdier case then some of the others I have looked at.

Face it, you can only keep the little ones busy so long on that long drive :) This case hangs easily and keeps the player out of your kids laps so they don't damage it with spillage or sticky fingers.

This was very helpful on vacation. The case attached to the back of the seat, so my son would not drop the player or have it on his lap. I was afraid he would fall asleep and it would fall or the battery would get too hot to sit on his lap. Plus, this way he was looking at eye-level instead of straining his neck and looking down. It was also cheaper than other models like this, and it was simple to attach. Not a lot of room for extras, but we just put those in his travel bag.

I bought this case to be used on a long 8-hour trip for my daughter (2) and her friend (2). You can hook up the case in between the 2 front seats so more than 1 person can view the DVD screen. It is easy to hook up. My only con to this carrier is that it does not stay level when you hook it up to hang between 2 seats. It remained fairly still in the car for viewing, but it was tilted down. The bag hinge should give a little more so the DVD player weight can be adjusted. For the price, it's still a good buy!

This doesn't really work in my '04 Sebring like it shows in the picture. I used the supplied straps differently and it looks like it will work OK at best.
