[+] 10.0 2nd time purchase
I am not one of those outer space creatures who walks around with a blue tooth headset in their ear everywhere
Hence I wanted something that was reliable and more over comfortable to wear in your ear without it falling out of the ear (like most earbud style headphones). This is a perfect solution for someone who does not want something high tech and pay an arm & leg for a simple headset. Very reliable and comfortable fit around the ear

[+] 2.0 Waste of money - Not anatomically correct! Totally useless!!
I do not understand how anyone could possibly give this piece of junk a good or even fair rating.

I bought the one for .99 cents - probably my first bad move - Anyway - I ordered it so as to not have radio air waves transmitting radiation in or near my head - Well, when I got it and tried to put it in my ear it simply would not go at the angle it is molded. The entire piece is unilateral - Most blue tooth devices curve around the ear and then the part that goes in your ear is perpendicular (faces the opposite direction/goes in sideways) to enter your ear at a perpendicular angle. To illustrate this another way - the curved piece fit over my ear ok although that too was too big and kept swinging around and falling off my ear) - but then the part that goes into your ear faced the same direction as the curved piece - straight ahead -

Total waste of money - but I figured for .99 cents (PLUS $5.00 shipping) they didn't stick me too badly - it's been laying in the backseat of my car ever since. Trying to think of someone to give it to who might have a deformed ear and can use it. ?!@

DON'T BUY THIS DEFORMED PRODUCT - YOU'LL WASTE YOUR MONEY!

[+] 10.0 Best headset out there...
I'm faithful to wired headsets, and this has been my favorite for years. It fits great behind the ear, doesn't interfere with glasses, stays on comfortably, and has the right type of ear gel! Many of the classic ear buds don't fit in my little ear, but this one holds well - and doesn't bother me after hours and hours of wearing it! (i work on the phone... it works all day long). Just make sure you get the right one for your phone... but buy one. Seriously. Great product... OH - except you'll need to be careful not to tug on the wire (where it connects to the earpiece). One big bad tug can dislodge the wires enough to leave you with a dead unit. At times i've had them last for 3 months. Other times - almost a year! Just be gentle. It's totally worth the effort.

[+] 10.0 Liked It So Much I Bought Them Twice
I like the over the ear fit, they stay in place and are comfortable. When my first one grew legs and ran off I had to find them again, liked them that much, didn't want to go with another brand or type. Small boom microphone has button that makes it easy to end or pick up a call.

[+] 10.0 Excellent Sound Quality
If your cellphone has the 2.5 mm jacks for a headset, you really cant go wrong with this one, everyone sounds very clear on calls, and thats with my volume on 1 and outside, and I believe it is also noise cancelling, when you are outside or driving with window down, no one ever said they heard that whooshing wind noise common with some boom mics.

At home I can lay down and talk with girlfriend for extended periods of time with no discomfort, they provide several ear gel inserts so you can get comfort fit.

The boom mic you see in the pic lays along your jawbone, you put it on, and start talking, you dont have to hold it closer or anything.

I like this headset, and at this price, I may order a couple more for backup.

I think you should stop reading this review and just order it.

This is the second Jabra earbud I own. I now have one for the car and one for the house. The people I talk to hear me very well and I can hear them excellent, sometimes better than with the phone direct. I like it much better than the blue tooth ear pieces I have tried.

I purchased this to use with my Pentech Breeze cell phone, I had to buy a couple of adapters to use it but it is great. I dont like using a blue tooth but this is a great product for hands free driving. It fits right in my purse.

[+] 2.0 not so loud
sound is too low volume. I've used 2 or 3 different earpieces on the same phone and this one is the worst. Directional little rubber dealy doesn't help and seems to direct sound into the skin on my ear rather than toward the ear drum itself.
Maybe it will fit someone else's ear better.

I still use it, when I can't find any other one.

[+] 10.0 They don't get any better than this!!

I can't tell you how happy I was when I found this earpiece on your website. You can't find them in the stores any more (can't imagine why they would stop carrying such a great item)...however, I was so happy that I purchased five, just incase someone else discovered your supply and bought them all. The reception is excellent, the device is comfortable to wear, and long lasting. I don't drive an inch without being connected to this headset. I have tried other headsets, both wireless and handsfree headsets, but nothing compares to this Jabra C250 in my opinion. I am happy to review this item and TOP SHELF!!!

[+] 10.0 Headset for cell phone
I am very pleased with this product. Its light and fits in my ear perfectly. It comes with four different ear buds that will help you find the best one suited to your ear. I use it in the car on my cell phone with the windows down and my friends never complain about not being able to hear me. The mike itself is not very close to your mouth but picks up everything loud and clear. I use it as much as i can. A great wired hands free head set.

Do not buy this headset! You will not be able to be heard on other end. You get what you pay for. Turned around and bought a Panasonic headset. They at least work good. Make sure you get something that has a extended microphone that reaches almost to your mouth!

I received the purchased items quickly. I used one immediately and it was fine. I just took out the second to try it and it didn't work at all. The plug that goes into the phone is defective, in fact is missing it's tip. I wrote to them and they are sending a replacement at no cost.

[+] 10.0 Can't go wrong!!
Working in high noise areas sometimes BT headsets have problems, so I always carry a good wired alternate.

The Jabra C250 is an excellent headset, especially at such a dirt cheap price! If it works for a week it has paid for itself, but I assure you it will last much, much longer.

Do yourself a favor and grab a couple.

[+] 2.0 Jabra C250 EarWave Boom Headset
Absolutely, utterly, phenomenally, completely useless! This is a slightly different design than the Jabra that I have used for years and, being the same brand of device and just a slightly different looking design, I thought that it would be comparable....NOT!!! All I get from the people I am trying to talk to is, "What?" and "Where are you? What's all that noise?" "What?!" I highly recommend AGAINST anyone buying this piece of junk and I think that Jabra should be ashamed of themselves for selling it!

[+] 2.0 What happened?
I used the older version of this model (without the call button) for years, and it was GREAT... until it broke. I order this one and it's virtually useless. After playing with it for a while and making a handful of calls of people saying "What?" "What was that?" "I can't hear you." I tossed it in the trash.

For the past couple months I've been using the Plantronic MX256-X1. It's alright, but I'm still on the lookout for a good one.

[+] 6.0 Jabra Earphones
The earphones work really well. The sound is great and others tell me that they can hear me very clearly. My only complaint is the earbud doesn't fit very well, and it will cause ear pain after about 1/2 hour of use. I worked on adjusting it and it was better, but still not as comfortable as I had hoped.

[+] 8.0 Great
this thing is amazing. i have used these for almost a year now and they are perfect for when u dont want to waste your battery with a bluetooth. the only down fall is that after lots are hard use like i use it; the cord becomes hard and the casing starts cracking. Other than that i personally dont have a problem with having to keep rebuying them, they are great sound quality and fit well on your ear. i would tell anyone to get them if they need a wired headset

[+] 10.0 best ear piece ever!
This ear piece is the most comfortable I've ever worn! It does not hurt your ear's skin, sits tight and does not go all the way in your ear. I find it more hygienic than other cloth covered ear pieces. Excellent product and dirt cheap!

[+] 2.0 Item Is Out of Box Failure
Headset did not work out of box. According to their returns policy it will cost me more money than I spent to try and get a credit. With what they charge for shipping, they basically stole my $7 as far as I'm concerned.

[+] 10.0 Jabra headset review
I had one of these headsets a few years back before I got a Bluetooth one and just switched back.
Recently, I got a Treo 755p smartphone and found that one-touch voice dialing did not work with a Bluetooth device (who knew?) on the Treo. I was very disappointed and after calling both Palm and Verizon help lines found out I could download a program from Palm (for $19.99) and use a wired headset for one-touch voice dialing. Seemed like a step backward, but it's working fine.

The only thing I've found with this headset that is a drawback is that after several months of use, the housing where the wire goes into the mike/ear boom begins to break and the headset stops working. However, with the low price, I ordered two so I'll have one in reserve.

The sound quality is good and it fits nicely and it is light. However I must have bought at least 10 of this and each one lasted a couple of month or so and then it did't work any more. It is more like a disposable item.

[+] 2.0 Headset makes you sound like you're in a tunnel
I bought this headset because I had purchased a Jabra ear bud headset for my cell phone and I love it. I needed a headset for my regular phone since I spend a lot of time on conference calls. The headset was very reasonably priced, but the first time I used it, the people on the call said I sounded like I was in a tunnel and muffled. Needless to say I'm no longer using it.

[+] 10.0 Best wired headset
This is my 4th headset in the past 5 years. They have a great microphone, no need to talk loud. The earpiece is comfortable but if you have small ears then it dangles more giving a less secure feeling around the ear. All the previous headsets broke from my stupidity (pulling the wire out along with my ear, rolling over the connector with the chair...)

[+] 8.0 Good headset for those who don't want Bluetooth
This is a good product for a 2.5mm headset. The boom is, of course, short, reaching about an inch or two from your ear. It's a directional mike, so it doesn't have to be in front of your mouth. This does create some downsides, as others have said, directional mikes tend to pick up more road noise than you'd like. This is simply unavoidable with any mike, corded or Bluetooth.

On the plus side, this is a very comfortable mike. The flexible ear piece gives enough for a comfortable fit without squeezing your ear, and (especially when using the clip on the cord) it will stay in and on your ear quite well. This product comes with 4 gel ear-canal pieces. They're easy to change and allow the mike to project sound directly into your ear canal, rather than having to blast it through a small speaker. This allows you to listen in the car without having to jack up the volume and create feedback echoes as the headset picks up the sound through the mike again.

The only two things I can gripe about this headset are the lack of volume control and some minor functions with my phone. This headset doesn't have it's own earpiece volume control. You have to turn the volume down on your phone, and even then (on my cell) it's still pretty damn loud. The other issue with it, though minor, is that it acts a little strangely with my phone (Motorola W510, I believe, using a 2.5mm to mini-USB adapter). After I hang up with a person the mike feeds the sound that it picks up into my earpiece, giving me a sort of echo in my right ear for about 5 seconds.

Bottom line: This is a $5 headset. This is a great quality headset that is rapidly becoming obsolete, so the price dropped like a rock. Go buy a $1 2.5mm to mini-USB adapter, and you've got a great headset that will work on virtually any model phone (except perhaps for some Nokias, I hear). At $5 you can hardly go wrong.

[+] 4.0 When it works it works, when it dies it dies!
I have owned three of these. When they worked, they were great. Then, about a year from purchase, they just die. I liked this Jabra so well I bought it again, and again. But no more.

My rating is based on my frustration of the third one dying.

Surely a headset should last more than a year!

Now I'm trying the Plattronics 510. I hope it lives up to its Amazon reviews.

[+] 10.0 Great Headset!
In CA a new hands free law is going into effect. Between myself, my wife, our three kids, and a vanpool we needed to find a good inexpensive headset to keep in our cars. The Jabra C250 really fits the bill. We have used them on a Motorola, Samsung, 2 different LGs and 2 different Sanyos without a problem.

I would rate the sound quality as excellent and the microphone quality as good. You do have to talk clearly and with a little volume, but overall everyone can hear and understand, at least clarity-wise, what we are saying.

The headsets are comfortable and although they feel a little loose, we have not had a problem with any of them falling off. Overall an excellent product.

The best part is for $11 a piece, including shipping and a small camera case, everyone has a quality headset in his or her car that never needs charging so it is always ready to go.

Great headset!

I like the fit of the part that goes into the ear. Jabra was recommended to me and I'm glad I gave it a try, fits good and feels good, and I need a secure fit enabling me to hear and not worry if the thing is in my ear incorrectly or uncomfortably. Nice unit.

[+] 8.0 Jabra Headset
You can't have too high expectations for such a cheap headset. Everything about it is fine and reasonable for the price i.e. sound quality and comfort. I would however have been happy to pay double the price for double the quality and comfort and then it would be perfect. The most annoying part about this is putting it on as you have to loop it around your ear and to do this, you need both hands. I think Jabra is one of the few headset manufacturers that make such a wide range that is suitable for my DUALphone VOIP/DECT cordless phone.

[+] 10.0 Jabra C250
I had an old Jabra that finally broke after about 5 years in the heat of the south. I like the newer version even better because it has the end button on the earpiece. Works great, not as heavy as others, barely know its there. Has better sound quality than most other brands as well.

[+] 10.0 Top quality for low price.
I have had a few different bluetooth and wired headsets. Everytime I used them people would always say they couln't hear me. I talked to some people
and they all said Jabra was the best bet. Now I had tried a bluetooth Jabra in the past and was a little skeptical. But, people swore hands down that the C250 was the best. I figured I would try it out. It is really cheap and if it didn't work I wouldn't be out a lot of money.
Well guess what? They were right! The C250 is the best headset I have ever used. People have yet to say they can't hear me. Also because the earpiece goes deep in your ear, you will have no problem hearing them. This is the best headset you can own at an even better price. It's light weight. Feels and fits good in the ear. Oh and the extra little perk with this headset is that it has the Answer/Hang up button on the boom. Get one. You won't regret it.

[+] 10.0 Great for the price!
The Jabra Earwave Boom Headset is one of the best wired headsets on the market. Because of the advent of the blue tooth headset, the price for this little gem continues to come down.

If you are looking for high quality hands free conversation, this item is for you. The microphone has very good noise cancelling so people only hear you speaking. The ear bud fits snuggly into the user's ear for maximum comfort and privacy. Volume has never been an issue for this device - it has always performed spectacularly.

Highly recommended.

This is earpiece is by far the clearest and most comfortable I have ever used.

I have hearing loss from too much loud music and this is one of the very few earpieces that allow me to clearly communicate in noisy environments.

The microphone has excellent fidelity and noise canceling. The people on the receiving end tell me it sounds as if I am using a standard telephone hand set.

[+] 10.0 Excellent
This is a great headpiece. It has 2 sizes of "ear buds" and comes with 2 of each, so you get your choice, as well as a backup.

The negative reviews appear to apply to any headset, and to be made by folks who don't understand cellular telephony ... you can't blame Rayleigh fading on your headset.

Very nice, very durable, comfortable around the ear fit ... one button to click, and no annoying mic that you have to secure to your lapel.

Who wears lapels nowadays?

I bought 4 of these, because they only carry brain-radiating blue tooths in stores now, which also cost 5x what this does.
