Best swaddle around
We had this in the smaller size for my son and he loves it. But had trouble finding it locally in the larger size when he grew out of the small one. He loves it, and so do we.

Happy Baby, Happy Mommy!
We have been using the Miracle Blanket for our son since his birth three months ago. He's recently entered the stage that he fights being swaddled, but really needs it in order to get a good night's sleep. He started to kick and squirm his way out of the Miracle Blanket and he couldn't fall back to sleep - plus that meant a loose blanket in his crib, which makes me nervous. (And I am the Queen of tight swaddles, so it wasn't too loose...) This blanket stays put - and if our son does squirm his way out of it, the blanket remains velcroed shut and wrapped around his mid-section. I don't have to worry about a loose blanket up around his face. I'm buying another one tomorrow!
I love this I just can't wait to use it. it looks very easy to use and is so soft. I will surley be buying another. it has a little slot so you can swadle your baby in their bouner or swing and still be able to buckle them in,I thiught that was really cool and if I recall it is not mentioned in the description.

Best Swaddle Out There!
I have tried numerous swaddles and this works the best, especially with bigger babies. The minute I wrapped my son in this he fell asleep. The velcro made it so easy to swaddle! Don't waste your money on anything else!
These swaddlers are a wonderful and safe way to keep your baby warm. Without the risk of them getting bunched up in blankets. This large one fits my 5 month old daughter, but she doesn't like being swaddled anymore, and wiggles out of it, but it is a great thing to have for newborns.
I don't recommend this for babies over 4 months, since they're so active and barely keep still in one. It is GREAT for newborns.

Great product for a very fair price
We've been using the small version and just moved up in size. We've been swaddling all along, and using this instead of blankets is much faster, easier, and more secure. Our little guy is 4 months old now, and I bet we'll continue to swaddle for a few more months, mostly for naps at this point. It's great for when he's overstimulated or fighting sleep - helps him calm right down.

Doesn't last long
I bought 2 of these last year, one in microfleece and another in flannel. I encountered the same problem with both. My chief complaint is the velcro fastener for 2 reasons. Firstly, it's irritatingly loud. Whenever I unfastened it to change my baby's diaper (even when I do it very gingerly) it often startled him into wakefulness. Secondly, the velcro lost it's sticking power after about a month's use and this made swaddling impossible. For my next baby, I think I'm going to invest my money in the Miracle Blanket...it's a lot pricier but it may be worth it. We'll see.

It doesn't work very well.
I bought this wrap for my 3 month old son. The wrap is not very breathy. I always find my son in sweat when I see him in the morning. Also, my son hates it. He cries and cries when I swaddle him with this wrap. This product just doesn't work for everyone I suppose.

Couldn't live without these...
After reading "The Happiest Baby on the Block" we knew that we wanted to swaddle our son at night but weren't completely comfortable doing so with blankets that could come undone and present a hazard. We decided to try one of these despite the fact that other parents told us they didn't work well. They have been wonderful for us! When my son started to outgrow the small size, we decided to try the Miracle Blanket next. It was such a pain to take on and off and to re-wrap him in when changing him in the middle of the night. We then ordered more of the SwaddleMe's in the large size and haven't used anything else since. My son sleeps in this every night and only rarely is able to get an arm out...and even when he does get an arm out, there is no danger because the SwaddleMe is still velcroed up. I strongly recoomend this product and don't know what I would do without it!
I have a baby who prefers to be swaddled and this holds and washes easily. The fleece is great for winter, they make a cotton one for warmer weather. I really like the design, it's simple and easy to use for a sleepy baby that your trying to get to bed. Not complicated at all.

Absolutely a must
Let's face it, you have a newborn and tons of dresses, etc. Do you really need them? Don't think so, as mostly it's a wrap you will be having, etc. Now, the problem with wraps is that invariably the legs "shoot" out, sooner or later, the blankets get tangled and there's a pronounced risk of SIDS due to suffocation. On these aspects, this product is a life-saver. The velcro tags get attached wonderfully and tucks the legs in too. The baby also loves it as there's no creases, etc. which is pitching him/her somewhere. A HIGHLY recommended product.
There are 2 sizes - big and small. They do have a difference. I think the small suffices till 3 or 4 months. The big's not required much since by that time you'll need to figure out if your baby likes/dislikes such wraps, or prefers clothes, etc. etc. Don't try to use the big on a newborn though. It's too big and the newborn will effectively "swim" inside!! Finally, the velcro tabs won't fit and thus you'll have troble attaching them.

Good Night, Sleep Tight
I bought this for my 5 month old son, who is big for his age. He still loved to be swaddled, but it was hard to find a blanket to keep him wrapped up all night. The Kiddopotamus works great. He stays warm and snug. I don't have to worry about him coming unswaddled and having a blanket in his face. A great product for a reasonable cost.

Tightest wrap there is
This is the best swaddling blanket I have found. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I am a swaddle master. Both my kids have loved to be swaddled well past their first few months. I was skeptical about this blanket at first, but it is the only blanket I own that doesn't come loose. Buy it. It's worth every cent for a baby who needs to stay tight to stay asleep.
Mom could never wrap baby as good as hospital did and this product helped do just that.

Helped baby sleep!
We love the Swaddleme blankets, it helps hold down our son's arms so he doesn't startle himself, but he can still move his legs. I just wish they had a medium size too.

Don't just buy 1.... you'll be sorry
That's how great this is. No matter how great you are at swaddling, babies always become unswaddled. This is great. The velco works great. And you should buy more than 1 because if the baby makes a messy diaper at night or spits up, you'll want a clean extra one to re-swaddler her with quickly. My baby slept so easily with her swaddler. It is so great, the hospitals should send you home with one! The babies love it... the parents love it... it's just a fantastic product. I have 4 children and used it for 3 of them!

The large size does not work as well as the small
If your baby likes to be swaddled this is a must have. Our son slept great in this swaddle blanket! I wish we started using it sooner because it was the only way to get him to stay asleep. We used this product in a size small for his first 3 months of life! He could not wiggle out of this blanket due to the velcro (unlike a normal blanket). I bought the large size when he grew out of the small. It was too big and didn't work as well because he was able to wiggle out of it. The small was worth the money but the large was a waste of money.

Swaddleme Adjustable Infant Wrap
The Swaddleme is an awesome product if your baby enjoys being swaddled. Our baby slept best when swaddled, but could often work his arms out of the blankets that we swaddled him in. We found that he stayed swaddled longer, and thus slept longer, when he was in his Swaddleme. I gave my sister one when she had a baby, and she loved it so much, she ordered two more. I couldn't find a local store that sold a large (when he outgrew the small one), and thus ordered it from Amazon.

Buy the gingham instead!
I *LOVE* this product. It's a far better velcro swaddler than the other brands because it uses bigger patches of velcro. In comparison to a blanket, this is much easier to use and provides much more durable swaddles. I'm quite good with a blanket, but by six weeks of age, my son could wriggle out. On the other hand, at three months, he's never wriggled out of the cotton flannel Swaddleme.
However, even in cold weather, the microfleece is too hot. Several times I've felt under the blanket to find my son sweaty. It's even worse when we combine the swaddle with a sling. On the other hand, the cotton knit (solid colors) blankets are too stretchy - my son quickly converts his knit Swaddleme into a toga, leaving both arms flying free. The cotton flannel (gingham prints) has less stretch than the other two fabrics, and plenty enough cover to keep a baby warm at indoor temperatures. It is trickier to find, but worth the search.
The microfleece Swaddleme does, however, make a great non-swaddle blanket on cold days, particularly when the baby is in a front carrier. The velcro is quite versatile.

The best thing ever
I love this product. Our little one loves being swaddled and this is so easy to use. I dont have to worry about her becoming unswaddled throughout the night. We just moved up from the smaller one to the bigger size. The fleece ones are nice and warm too!
We used the small one until my son outgrew it, then moved to the large version. We just stopped swaddling last night (he's 6 mos) and we loved this product! He was asleep in minutes and began to know when he was placed in it, it was time to go to sleep!

I'm so glad they make this in a large size!!
My baby outgrew the regular sized Swaddle Me at 2 months of age. I ordered this one and when it came in the mail I couldn't believe how huge it looked! We didn't actually use it until about 2.5-3 months since it was so big. We would fold the top down before we swaddled our son in this so it wasn't as long. At 3.5 months, our baby weighs 17 pounds so it's hard to find something to swaddle him with, and he still needs it. I hope he doesn't outgrow this one in the near future. I think he'll be one of those kids who has to be swaddled till he's 6 months old and this blanket should work.
I JUST had a baby so writing a review is a totally amazing thing to do at this stage of the game - that's how much I love this thing. They should pass it out at the hospital. Regular swaddles come undone. This one stays in place and you can change a diaper without disturbing the arms, which is so important. Buy more than one.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!
I love this item! If you swaddle your baby, it is a must for when they get bigger. My son is almost 7 months old and it keeps him happy all night. There are occasional nights he gets out of it, but not many. I gave it 4 starts just because it needs to be a little bit longer. My son is within the stated weight range, but he is in the 96th percentile for length and his feet come out every night. Overall a great purchase.

This helps my son sleep through the night
We received the newborn size Swaddle Me as a gift, and at first it was too big. However, my son quickly grew into it and couldn't fall asleep without it. Now he's into the size Large, and I wish they made an Extra Large b/c it's also getting a little small. Pros: It's very easy to use with velcro attachments. You can easily keep him wrapped while taking his feet out and changing his diaper. It's warm, and he needs no additional blankets when using it. Cons: The velcro attachments don't always work that well, esp. the one that keeps the inside wing attached to the legs. Even when it is securely attached, he manages to kick his way out of it, but his arms tend to stay wrapped, which is more important for helping him stay asleep. Now that he's growing longer, I've been putting his legs on top of the bottom portion instead of inside it, just wrapping his arms, and this works great. I LOVE this product. I have four of them.

Great for your little Houdini
Our little boy started out as a 5.5 lb preemie. At five and a half months he is approx. 18 lbs and 26 inches. Receiving blankets worked fine for swaddling at first, but after he got a bit bigger he would wiggle out of them. I ended up sewing two blankets together and he could soon even wiggle out of that. We call him our 'Little Houdini' because he can get out of anything!
Then, I found this at a Babies 'R Us store and figured it was worth a try. The fabric is very soft, the velcro closures are very strong (believe me!) and if we wrap it tight enough, Little Houdini can't wiggle out! The fabric is still stretchy enough that even when tightly fastened it still provides breathing room. The blanket is also gathered on the shoulders so that it is form fitting and little hands can't get out through the top. The fleece fabric is great because if his diaper leaks, the blanket doesn't feel wet (we also have fleece sheets and jammies for this same reason).
The only thing that could be better is the closure on the leg portion. It leaves a little gap that cold air could get in through and sometimes little feet if there's enough kicking going on. Also, his feet are at the end of the blanket, so maybe for a very long baby this wouldn't be great.
I will be buying more of these so I don't have to do laundry as often and some in a lighter knit fabric for summer (unless Houdini stops playing with his face and pacifier in the middle of the night).

WONDERFUL LIFE SAVER!
We've been going through a really rough patch with our daughter's sleeping habits. Lately she wants to sleep in our bed, and right up against us. She has been sleeping on her own, in her own crib for 6 months, and now, at 8 months, we've run into trouble. I bought a Large swaddler, and boom - she napped, and slept in her own crib again!! The softness and closeness of her being all bundled up - even her arms - makes her comfortable to be able to sleep on her own again. This is a major MUST have!! We love it!! I actually just signed on to buy another!

Wonderful must have for those MUST BE SWADDLED!
My little boy is 4 months old and has been sleeping through the night since he was 3 months. The only downfall is that he would wake up in the middle of the night up to 4 times because he had come un swaddled. The blankets that are warm but thin enough to use as a swaddle were just too small and would come undone through out the night. I had seen this swaddle me pop up on amazon and say "buy me, buy me". So I did. I found the only Large one left on the shelf and brought it home. We used it the first night. Heaven in blanket form! He slept through the night and stayed swaddled! It uses Velcro instead of the weight of the baby to keep him all bundled up. Would so recommend for all those babies who just need to be swaddled. You'll love it!
