Kingston 1 GB Secure Digital Flash Card ( SD/1GB ) (Retail Package)

Nothing special. It's a 1.0 GB disk, and it holds close to 1.0 GB. Not rocket science.

There isn't a whole lot you can say about a memory stick. I have 2 of this model and both have worked reliably for a few years with no issues ever. 1 in a Palm PDA and 1 in a digital camera.

This card came very quickly, much faster than they said when it was purchased. It performed beautifully, plus I got it for a bargain price. Awesome.

As well as providing computer memory with great quality, Kingston has a very nice and reasonable line of SD cards that gets the job done. I bought this for a digital picture frame, and have not had any problems with it so far.

Good. I can't think of a reason of why not to give this SD card 5 stars. Nothing bad you need to know about this card. Had it for months know and it still works as it is brand new! Nothing bad about this card. Bought this for my camera so it used a lot. But if you need a nice cheap SD card Kingston makes a good one!

For the price, this product works well. Read and write fast enough. I have it in my 5MP camera and it is wotking fine.

I bought a few of these to use in various devices, such as my Wii, Kindle, camera, etc. While I wouldn't use them in my high-end cameras, due to speed and performance, they work perfectly in normal devices. It's hard to beat them at this price.

multi purpose card, i use it in my alarm clock, camera, electronic picture frame... ton of uses!

there's not much to say about this product.getting it surely allows u to store more data in your devices,in this case,pictures.being bundled with the camera,u actually get a great deal for it...

I bought this for my Wii so I download saved games off the Internet (great for those games you rent where you don't want to burn most of your rental time trying to unlock the interesting stuff) and it works great. I haven't had any computability problems with either the Wii or my notebook.

First I ordered 6 of these to transfer lectures for use on a WMA FM modulator. They worked great and each came case with a plastic case. They were made in Japan. After a week I ordered 14 more. They were the same thing but now without the case and they are now made in Taiwan. This is ok, but what am I going to do about cases for them? How annoying!

It works well, no problems at all. And it is about as cheap as it gets... nothing to complain, in fact quite happy about it.

I use these for a photo frame to keep the pictures current. They work great and I've not experienced any problems with them. It's nice to be able to get good products like these for a lot less money than you could at a electronic store. I would recommend these to anyone.

There is a new thing in MS Vista OS where you can add memory to your PC via memory cards (assueming you have the proper slots) so i added 1G cheap and it runs just a bit faster...

I've recived this item with digital photo frame,and i was realy diapointed when i realised that the card was bloked,and my computer did not see it at all,so i just had to put it in trash,and by another one in store

Bought two for around $ 5.50 each for my two Panasonic Cameras. Works great. Went back to buy 4 more a few days later and the price had dropped to $ 5.00 each. Great bargain for my usage.

Not had a single problem using these cards! I purchased three for use in my 8mp camera and they work fine. I get 290 pictures using the highest pixel rate. Lock works fine. Downloading from these is okay. Using over and over, I have never had any problems. What more could one ask for? I have had these cards and used extensively for over a year!
There are more expensive products out there, but why? I do not reccomend any Sandisk products though as I have had problems with those in the past. Just FYI

1. Last
2. Not be seen
3. Not give complaints.

This is the reason I purchased this card and have no regrets.

You almost can't buy one gallon of gas for the price of this SD card. It works just as well as my significantly more expensive cards. You can't beat this deal!

Great card, great price. I'm not a techy, just your average pic taker. For me it's fantastic. Threw this in with another purchase and can't beat it for the price with the free shipping. Very pleased.

I was a great deal and I sent my brothers as a must with their digital camera. Kingston is always a good brand for all these SD cards.

Most people won't need a 1GB SD Card for their Kindle (or any SD card at all), but at this price, overkill is fine!! It worked perfectly in my Kindle as soon as I inserted it in the slot. No need to spend more than $6 for an SD card for the Kindle.

The "Complete Works of Shakespeare" take up 2.9MB in MOBI format, so you should be able to store 353 very large books on this disk in addition to what can be stored in Kindle memory. The average ebook is about 500KB, so you can store up to 2000 files.

This Kingston 1 GB Secure Digital Flash Card ( SD/1GB ) (Retail Package) is on the low end of capacity being sold right now. However, it's such a great value. No need to worry about SDHC compatibility here. Works with all SD devices and computers with appropriate memory card readers.

The only knock on this card is that it is somewhat slow. However, at this price it's still great as a spare.

So if you have a really high end camera you will want to spend more for a bigger one. But if you need an extra memory card for your Wii, digital camera (Canon, Nikon) or PDA, this is a good one to get.

I've been a very happy Amazon customer but this Kingston 1GB SD card is the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon. I purchased 4 cards and three of the four were unreadable on my MacBook Pro. I couldn't even initialize them. I thought that perhaps this was a Macintosh incompatibility issue, so I used a Windows computer. Again, I was unable to read or even initialize the card. I will never buy another Kensington product again.

I bought four of thse memory chips from Amazon for my Canon A 560 Cameras. They will simply do their job of reliably recording my digital photos throughout Europe this summer. Need I say more?

Works fine, great for the price. Don't see why you'd need to spend more. Works great in my digital camera and has worked in other products as well.

I use this 1gb card for my pda. Holds everything I need from ebooks to music. Enough room left over to back up the pda daily. Glad I bought it.

These cards have been working great for me. I bought 4 and have not encountered any problems. The lock latch is very useful when you want to be able to tell which cards are used and which are empty. I simply lock a card when it fills up.

I purchased this 3 weeks back for my digital photoframe, initially it worked great but sometimes it gets stuck while displaying the photos. Once you take out the card and insert again, it works fine. Its okay for the price but not great.

I bought this because it was inexpensive but from a well-known company. I'd recommend it for these reasons - sure there are lots of other SD cards around from other manufacturers, but most are not as cheap as this.

Slower than my 133X SD Card which it cost me over $100 4 yrs ago.
This is a good value for data storage but you may want something else if you require high performance and fast storage like a good digital camera.
