[+] 6.0 $36 at walmart,lots of movement noise
First off these are $36 at walmart,I'm not understanding the $79 price here. These headsets have good audio quality both on mic and speakers. The issue is that the plastic parts rub on each other as you move your head around giving a lot of obnoxious scraping (it sounds like your lightly tapping on the boom part)type noise to your recording. It doesn't matter how you clip your cord, you can't avoid this movement noise. I've had 2 of these with the exact same problem. These are fine for skype calls or gaming, but I record video tutorials occasionally and this makes them sound pretty bad

[+] 8.0 Good headphones
These headphones were recommended to me by a friend who uses them all the time. I really like them and though they are a little hard on the ears after a while, I think they are great. I recorded my first podcast and the sound was great. I would definitely recommend them.

[+] 4.0 Works well, but hurts my ears
The sound is good and it's easy to use, but this headset hurts my ears and the top of my head and I've tried a bunch of different adjustments. I can't wear my glasses with it at all.

[+] 8.0 Excellent value for the money
This is the first USB headset I've owned. Well worth the price. I bought the product some months ago from an Amazon.com reseller that just happened to be located in San Jose, so I got it the next day!

I use this product a lot both for listening to Internet radio and my audio collection over the headphones, but my primary reason for getting this product in the first place is for internet audio conferencing, and having a product like this makes it far easier than using a sound card & external microphone.

My only complaint with the device is that extended listening is difficult because the headset is tight, and it's hard to adjust this. Logitech should make it easier to use, in that respect.

[+] 2.0 Microphone broke after less than a month
I usually just wear headsets around my neck and run sound through different speakers, and that way I just can use the mic while gaming. When I put it on my ears though, the band didn't adjust comfortably, and it was like my head was in a vice. The big volume control thing in the middle of the cord - worst design idea ever - please people, stop designing them like that. It had a dead spot in the volume wheel if you turn it to the right spot. The mic mute slider on it also was very easy to turn off. I could've lived with all of that, and it would have been ok for $30, but after a month the mic stops working - the only reason I needed a headset, and it's dead.

Conclusion - bad design, uncomfortable, and very cheaply built.

[+] 6.0 Decent, but they will break on you eventually
I have owned two of these headsets and in both cases, they served me well for several months, but they eventally fall apart. If they were a bit more sturdy, they might actually be worth the $80 price tag, but for that kind of money, you can find better.

[+] 2.0 Not Vista Compatible...worthless
Please tell me why they can't make simple headphones that plug into the headset and microphone jack. Straight out the box, plugged it in. Vista recognized it as a USB audio device, but the sound was never redirected to the headset.

[+] 6.0 Audio is good, but physical construction isn't.
Audio Playback:
Quality seems comparable to a high quality pair of headphones.

Sound Recording:
The background-noise-canceling microphone is high quality and brings in nice clean audio. However, the headset itself (the plastic frame, mic arm, etc) will produce sounds that show up in your mic-ed audio. The headphones are both mounted in sockets that have just enough play that movements of the head or attached cord will show up in your audio recording. I had to stuff the joints with a tissue to prevent clicking noises and bumps from interfering with my sound recording.

Comfort:
As others have mentioned if you have an average->large head prepare for some discomfort, there will be fairly constant pressure on your head.

Mute Button & Volume Control:
The mute button is a little too easy to activate, I have inadvertently muted the microphone on many occasions. Volume control works fine but is a little slow to respond. Frankly an on/off switch and a volume wheel would have been better than the directional button interface.

Conclusion:
I purchased this headset for the purposes of recording screen-casts. I wouldn't recommend this headset to someone else for that purpose, especially not for $90.

[+] 6.0 Quality Sound and Mic
The sound quality is good. The mic is good. Many people find the headset uncomfortable. I however do not have any concerns with the comfort level. I would not say it is super confortable and I would not say it is unconfortable. Comfort is somewhere in the middle between good and bad.

That said, the little blue power light did not work. This is important because the light indicates if you are muted. I exchanged it for a the same model and the exchange item works properly. If it was not for the "broken" blue light on the original purchase I would have rated this product with four stars.

[+] 6.0 works fine with windows xp, but cannot get this to work with Vista
The logitech headset 350 works very nicely with my windows xp, but when I try to get it to work on Vista, it sees it, but cannot pass the speech recognition test. Also, I don't hear anything through the speakers. (I am attempting to use this with my Rosetta Stone software.) When I checked on control panel for the sound levels, it said it was working fine. It was just muted and the volume controls slid down to nothing (which is odd because I have been using my headset that came with the Rosetta Stone daily, with no problems) I unchecked the mute and slid the bars up, but it still wouldn't work. The seller even sent me a new pair, but it does the same thing. I have searched for solutions through both microsoft and logitech websites, but have found none. (a google search found that others are having similar problems, without solution) If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Good Luck!

[+] 2.0 Uncomfortable and unreliable
As other reviews have mentioned, the headphones aren't very comfortable. The padding is thin and the ear cups provide pressure all over the ear, instead of around the ear.

The headset performed well for a couple months, and then suddenly the left channel went silent. After testing it on multiple machines, I found that I could get the sound in the left ear to reappear momentarily if I jiggled the cord just right. It was obviously a poor connection somewhere inside the left ear, which apparently had worked its way loose despite the fact that the headset wasn't abused physically in any way.

This sort of poor quality is not something I expect after paying almost $100. Look elsewhere if you want a USB headset that you intend to use for any length of time.

[+] 2.0 Don't buy! Its JUNK!
This headset worked GREAT for about 3 months. It was the best headset I ever had. Then I didn't use it for about 6 months, and when i plugged it in, it no longer worked. How can something that hadn't been moved or touched in 6 months magically stop working? It wasn't even a year old. I recommend checking out Plantronics, their stuff is better quality.

[+] 8.0 Good for the price but a bit uncomfortable
Easy to use, easy to install, good performance but, as others had mention it can be a bit uncomfortable if used for longer periods of time.
I am using it for Rosseta Stone speech recognition and the performance is excellent.
I think it is a great product for the price (around US25)

[+] 10.0 Awesome support
I'm not an audiophile, and really cannot review this headset in terms of its audio quality. Mind you, I purchased this headset for $25, not sure why it is listed at $90 right now, and it seems unanimous from other reviewers that especially for its price, its a great bargain.

What sets this headset apart from others however, is the supreme support provided by Logitech. My headsets internal wires came lose and I could no longer hear from it unless the wires were positioned in the perfect position. I got in contact with Logitech, and they sent me a replacement that arrived in three days for free.

[+] 8.0 More than basic, less than audiophile
Four people in our office use this model headset for web telephony, speech-to-text, and other applications. Audio quality is very good in both directions, and the USB connector seems to be a major part of the performance. Headset is more bulky than a basic model but not as cumbersome as a studio pair. If wearing it all day, you might want something lighter, but a constant user might also want the benefit of having the ears completely covered.

[+] 4.0 Consider Carefully
I had this model about 6 months, light use (1-3 times/week) before it died. The mic would no longer transmit and the sound remained stuck at max. After removing/re-installing the driver it was still the same, which was no real loss since they were not very comfortable in the first place.

[+] 2.0 Bad design, uncomfortable, and cheap plastic that breaks
One day while I was wearing the headphones for about 20 minutes, for no
apparent reason, one side broke, while they were sitting on my head. I know I didn't do anything to cause this, I attribute it to a bad design, and perhaps cheap plastic. So I taped the one side back on with electrical tape.

About 2 months later, again, while the earphones were on my head for quite some time, the opposite side broke. I taped that side too.. Now, I do enjoy the sound that comes from these headphones, so I figured that I could live with the tape.

Yes, they did hurt my ears when worn for more than 1/2 hour like everyone else is mentioning.

Well today, the tape gave way, and they broke again.

The sound quality is there. As far as the manufacturing quality, the only thing that seems to be made very well, is the shiny Logitech logo on the side of the earphone.

I hope Logitech learned from this mistake and will put more effort into finding a better manufacturer of their products.

[+] 4.0 Bad craftsmanship
I will echo what seems to be a common problem with this headset:

1) Extremely uncomfortable (but you can grow accustomed to it over time)
2) Poor and/or failing sound quality

The poor fit is just bad design, but most people can probably live with it. What concerns me the most is how badly the sound deteriorates. It is clearly a poor wiring job or maybe they use cheap wires, but the sound is not getting through completely. The left channel was the first to drop (completely at the time of this review), and now the right channel is dimming as well.

The mic seems to be in working order (although I have not tested it recently).

I've owned these for about half a year, and had a good experience with them until the sound started deteriorating about a month ago. Even taking precautions to take care of them, the sound is now completely shot. It is disappointing that a ~$90 headset would fail within six months. I've had much cheaper headsets last years.

Just a note, the problem seems to stem from poor wiring (or wires?), between the controller and the headset.

[+] 6.0 Great Headphones but hurt like hell!
I really like the products logitech has but for some reason these headphones start to really hurt my ear after extended periods of time on my head. By extended I mean an hour or so and if you take them off, they hurt your ears really badly. The longer they stay on your head the more painful it will be when you take them off. I also know it's not my fault because my ears are not too big or too small and I adjusted the settings of width on them and they still hurt. Don't get me wrong the quality of the mic and music is great but I just hate to wear them because they are so painful.

[+] 10.0 Best USB headset in its class....
This is the best USB headset you'll find for under $100. Provides excellent stereo output, and outstanding voice transmission quality. True plug-n-play through it's USB connection, nothing else to do except set your program to use it as you wish. USB is very low system drag compared to sound card plug-in type analog connections, as it is pure digital from start to finish. The mic is long enough to be correctly placed near your mouth for clear voice transmissions. Some others the mic is too short and ends up behind your mouth causing them to pickup other ambient noise. Not these. I highly recommend the Logitech 350 USB's over any other headsets in this class.

[+] 8.0 Works great until it doesn't
I really really liked these phones and have recommended (and given as gifts) these to family and friends. After about 15 months it quit working; why? I don't know, but when plugged into the USB port the blue light flashed a few times and nothing more. Perhaps because I left it plugged in just about every day, who knows how many hours (lots!), whether in use or not. Anyways, considering the great quality of sound and comfort, I bought another set, however I disconnect them when not in use!

[+] 4.0 don't get these "premium" ones
don't get these "premium" ones. I've bought a lot of usb headsets, and this particular model is annoying because (1) the earphone parts aren't deep enough and so your ear gets squished, and (2) that dumb medallion with the volume clicker on it dangles... truly annoying. get the standard logitech ones, silver colored -- they fit and don't have that volume medallion thing.

[+] 6.0 Good value
Good quality on sound and microphone. It's annoying that you have to ask skype to recognize it when you plug in unless you restart skype, it's tight on me (but headphones always are), and the mute button is way too easy to press during normal conversation. Still, it gets the job done and I use it all the time.

actually I bought it so I can improve the hearing with clients that were to call me via the computer. Not only that the product I got was kind of not comfort and very not convenient to wear it made no difference of the sound quality then my other headset which I got in 1$ and that are the simple as possible product I have seen light good and comfort to wear. I suggest you skip buying those if your computer is working and your not operation 4 software online at same time you will be able to have a great sound with simple head set as I did.

[+] 4.0 Broke within one year of purchase.
Recently, these headphones began to transmit only half of the sounds sent to them. Generally, I don't mind when electronics break, it's just something that happens over time. However, considering that I purchased these headphones less than a year ago, I'm disappointed that they malfunctioned so quickly.

This product worked quite well until it prematurely broke though, which is why I haven't given it one star.

[+] 10.0 great product.
The reason I had bougth a headset was so that I could hook it up to my game system(PS3) and communicate. After searching I decided to get this one, when I tried it I could hear everyone loud and clear. Even low talkers I could even hear very clearly. Expecially like the LED mute button and the volume design.

I have had it for about 8 months already and can't tell you how many times I have dropped this thing or my dogs knocking it off my desk and still it has not broke or even shows damage to it. A absolutely a great long lasting product good for consoles and also the computer. I recommend if you need a good headset then get this one. psn- orlando29

[+] 6.0 The mute button seems exceptionally sensitive.
The headset has fine audio quality and very good sensitivity, but the mute button is very easy to trigger accidentally. It's frustrating to talk for a minute only to realize you've muted yourself... again... by the mute button simply bumping against you.

[+] 8.0 GREAT SOUND & HOW TO FIX A TIGHT HEADSET
Having read all the reviews I got this set this week. The sound is excellent and I like the in-line volume control. This is my first such headset that I am using with Skype. My callers said my voice was very clear and I found them to be likewise. I felt like they were in the same room with me. This was much better than my cell phone connection and a bit better than my land line phone.
To set it up on a Win XP platform, I just plugged in the USB and I was operational in seconds with no further adjustments. I also have to say that the SKYPE download of software was easy and I loaded that on two computers with the same result. Yeah Skype!
As others have mentioned the head set is uncomfortable as they haven't provided enough ear padding and/or the width of the padding is to little. I wear eyeglasses and after 15 minutes the headset was digging into my temples. HERE IS A FIX to make them comfortable. First, create something to allow the headset to stay open. For example, get a box that is about 7 inches in width and put the box between the ear pieces as if the headset were sitting on your head. Leave it in place for 24 hours. This allows the plastic to flex. After 24 hours, with the headset still on the box, use a hair dryer (I used my on the 1875 watt heat setting) and direct the air flow to the head band area keeping it about 5 inches away from the head band. Leave it on for about 3-5 minutes (perhaps longer if your dyer offers less than 1875 watts of heat). After that, leave the headset on place on the box for 10 minutes. Your done. The headset will now fit less tightly!! If this works for you too, please tell others by posting a comment.

[+] 8.0 Good and Bad
The Good?
The sound quality and microphone sensitivity is above average for this price range.

The Bad?
This headphone is really really really uncomfortable when placed on your head, especially if you wear glasses or have a bigger head. Because this thing squizes your head tight and you could experience ear pain in less than 30 minutes.

Alternative?
Yes, you could probably try one of the sennheiser's headsets, they are about the most comfortable you can get at same price range.

[+] 8.0 Great sound quality, difficult to wear over a long time
My computer needed a USB headset badly. Regular microphone port headsets conflicted with my sound card and was very troublesome to use. This headset is wonderful at its sound quality. It has crisp clear input that the other listener will appreciate. Great microphone!

However, my only issue is the comfortability. I use these headsets for gaming, and wearing them too long puts such a stress on my ears that I have to stop. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but these things HURT!

Despite the painful earphones, this headset makes up for that with its excellent microphone quality and USB compatibility!

Great headset, the only problem is that the clip on the volume control tends to be a little awkward and fall off of wherever you clip it and fall so that the mute button gets hit.

[+] 10.0 Beautiful set. Amazing quality for price
I was terribly skeptical about this headset because of its startlingly low price, but I'm entirely satisfied with them! I noticed that there is an inline audio processor attached to the chord (this is a good thing), so when using these, you'll need to go into your audio settings and set the usb device as default, although it should do this automatically (except for programs like skype, you may need to adjust settings differently for different programs). Also, the inline volume controller is useful for some, but it turns up the computer system volume, not the volume just for the headphones. That is quite annoying for me, but for most, it's very convenient.

The Microphone: As for the recording quality of the mic, the inline audio unit filters out interference and provides decent recording quality for your microphone. USB headsets generally are better than analog 3.5mm headsets. They have increased bandwidth and are able to use things like inline audio modules to increase quality.

The Headphone sound quality: The quality of sound that these cans produce is certainly surprising at this price point. I was expecting muffled or excessively bright sound, but they're quite clear. They are slightly lacking in spots and they have a VERY subtle muffled quality, but they have amazing clarity and powerful punchy bass. They can handle volume too. There is zero distortion at max volume. I'm an audiophile, and I love high quality sound. These headphones have the potential to open up a world of crisp, live music and sound for you if you aren't used to expensive set ups with headphone amps and such. If you are used to a nice set up, then these headphones will be just fine for you. At least they won't displease you.

I needed a headset that merely got the job done. I was not concerned with quality of sound recording or playback, and in buying these, I was completely blown away at their incredible quality considering price. I was completely surprised at the performance of this headset, and the fact that it was 17.93 is absolutely astonishing. For music listening, I use a pioneer stereo receiver as an amp and equalizer for my senheisser HD 435 headphones. I don't mind switching to the logitech 350 to listen to music while I talk on skype. Logitech must have made a deal with the devil to produce quality audio recording and playback at such a low price. I'm entirely pleased.

I gave this as a christmas present to my wife. She hooked it up that morning and has been using it constantly for Vent chat for a couple days now. The sound is great and the loudness blows everyone else out of the water. It's a good headset so far and I'm glad i bought it. Planning on getting another for myself in the near future.

[+] 8.0 Good, but with issues
Pros: Great sound, USB connectivity, comfortable, and mic works great for mp gaming with digital sound.

Cons: Only one real problem with these headsets. This is the third one ive owned because even with its only flaw, its worth it. The wire from the volume control to the headset is tiny and extremely fragile. With constant use this headset only lasts me around 9 months before the left headphone starts cutting out, which is still good quality for all the use/abuse I give it (daily).

Conclusion: Though I may wear them out fairly quickly, others may not have this problem. I use them daily so take that into consideration when purchasing. Id recommend them to anyone and I plan on buying another one since this current one is starting to go.
