Service was great, too bad product was defective
Service by the company was great, shipped in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, the product was received as not working electronically. Maybe it was damaged during shipping?
The company did not have another unit, so they refunded my money. Their service was great.
Too bad I can't rate the item itself, as I did not have a working one.
Bought in June 2007. Never really used it much and had it on the shelf. Installed SKYPE last week (2/2010) and brought out the headset. Worked for 10 minutes and died. Sometimes Windows 7 sees it, sometimes (mostly) not. Not even shown as a product in Logitech [...] forums there show a LOT of unhappy people that bought this. STAY AWAY !!!!
It was sort of strange at first not hearing yourself in the headset. You got over it after a while. Over all the headset is really good. The sound quality is good and from what I hear the microphone quality is also good. The only problem is there is this button that you can accidentally press to make you go on mute. If they cant hear you check to see if its blinking. If it is then press it. you will be good to go. Overall a good product.
I use this headset for Skype. The audio is very clear. I wouldn't use this for music since the headset hurts my ears after awhile. I'm not sure whether the cushions need to be broken in or if it is the design of headset. The current price of $69.99 is crazy, I bought these for $35 at Walmart a few weeks ago.

Very uncomfortable. I wish I had listened to other reviewers
I wish I had listened to the other reviewers on how uncomfortable this headset is. Maybe it's fine if you have a thin head, but I think I have probably an average sized head and it is extremely uncomfortable to wear for any extended period of time. Having said that, I really only use this headset for Webex meetings and the sound quality is good. And I'm told that the mic on the headset works well too.
What can I say.... I'm a glutten for punishment.
I have bought 4 of the USB Premium 350 headsets... every one of them has failed, the last one within about two weeks. Save your money and look elsewhere

Good Sound But Uncomfortable
Good headset for $15 but I wouldn't pay $65 for it. It has good sound and works well with Skype but the ear cups are uncomfortable. The headband is not padded either, it's just hard plastic, but you get used to it. The cord has two lumps in it, one with a mute switch and one that has no controls, just says Logitech on it. The cord that goes from the USB plug to the first lump is very stiff for some reason, which seems odd.

Garbage, should cost 5 bucks
I bought a pair of these to use for playing games with friends n family. They are terrible.
* Makes my ears sweat and hurt after 5 minutes. The cheap plastic foam is hard and provides no ventilation. Uncomfortable.
* Volume control dial is cheap, causes all sound to disappear from one ear. Slightly moving the wire will cause sound to get knocked out of one ear. Pain in the butt to use.
* Plastic connector hurts after a while - no cushioning.
Basically, this headset sucks. Look elsewhere.

Cheap and uncomfortable.
I've used Logitech products for years now. These were very disappointing. The ear cups are round and don't fit over your ears properly. The wire from the USB connector up to the inline volume controller is thick, but then they go to a cheaper thin wire from there up to the headset. The headset worked for about a week then it started shorting out where the thin wire comes out of the control. I finally got so fed up with the intermittent connection, I broke open the volume control (it's glued together, btw) only to find VERY tiny wires that were shorting out and so small you could never solder/rewire them yourself. They need to use more solid components and wire that is thicker than a human hair. Terrible design. Don't waste your $. Go for the MS LifeChat LX-3000 instead.

Not stood test of time!
I agree with all comments about sound quality etc but having used them extensively for quite some time the sound cuts in and out between left and right channels. The problem relates to poor anchorage where the cable enters the headset. It would be reasonably easy to rectify if you could take them to bits but it does not look like they are built for that. Final opinion...very dissatisfied!

Great headphones, for a little while.
They have good sound, are comfortable, are plug and play. Unfortunately after 3-4 months the sound in the left earphone will give out, I've had it happen 3 times now with 3 different headsets of this model. It's obviously a design flaw but when I contact the manufacturer they claim it isn't. I recommend against buying it as you'll end up having to buy another in a few months.

Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk
I was content with my Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Headset. I purchased a set for everyone in our house except my daughter. She was in love with my Sony MDR-XD100 Stereo Headphonesthat I also purchased through Amazon. I was unaware that Microsofts product was fragile until one day I bumped them and they fell 3 feet to the floor and broke the right ear piece and wiring. I started my search for headsets again and decided that Logitech's brand was what I needed. I was not concerned with price, I was concerned with clarity and ease of use, the Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 ( 980374-0403 )just sealed the deal with a price that basically covered shipping. When it arrived at my doorstep 4 days later, I was convinced that this was meant to be. I raced to the computer room and spent what seemed like eons trying to open the packaging. It was well packed, and kept from harms way. When it finally gave in, I grabbed the USB tab and plugged it in and off we went. It really was just seconds for the install and it was in remarkable condition.
One thing I would suggest to people interested in purchasing this device is to go out and get a copy of the Documentation so they are aware of what to do. The headset did not come with drivers but instead used drivers that seemed to be developed for Logitech and its devices. This is a wonderful product and I'm sure this headset will be around for a long time despite the fact that this model was discontinued.

Excellent quality; not really for the home office worker
Don't get me wrong, this is a top notch product. Excellent clarity and I personally like the maneuverability of the microphone. I only have 2 beefs: 1) as a home worker, ALL system sounds are diverted to the headsets. I'm still working on that. 2) I'm just not a fan of any over-the-head headsets. Personal issue: it's a little tight.

JUNK - Doesn't Work
Don't waste your money. It's not even worth the lower price of $35 as retailers clear out the old stock. Mine didn't work right out of the package. The Logitech website doesn't even acknowledge the existence of this model. A Logitech search shows "No Results."

Dies after three months
I'm disappointed that the headset stopped working just the other day. I bought one (obviously used) in May, but it smelled so badly of cigarettes I became nauseous. I immediately contacted the seller who was kind enough to send another pair. I think I received this set in early June. I had it plugged into the USB drive and the PC told me it could no longer recognize the hardware because the USB end went south. I tested other devices on the USB port and it was fine, so it was definitely this particular set that had gone bad and not the port itself.
Unfortunately, despite the good sound and relative comfort, I would never purchase a Logitech headset again because the quality is lacking in the most basic way possible.

$36 at walmart, lots of movement noise
First off these are $36 at walmart,I'm not understanding the $79 price here. These headsets have good audio quality both on mic and speakers. The issue is that the plastic parts rub on each other as you move your head around giving a lot of obnoxious scraping (it sounds like your lightly tapping on the boom part)type noise to your recording. It doesn't matter how you clip your cord, you can't avoid this movement noise. I've had 2 of these with the exact same problem. These are fine for skype calls or gaming, but I record video tutorials occasionally and this makes them sound pretty bad
These headphones were recommended to me by a friend who uses them all the time. I really like them and though they are a little hard on the ears after a while, I think they are great. I recorded my first podcast and the sound was great. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent value for the money
This is the first USB headset I've owned. Well worth the price. I bought the product some months ago from an Amazon.com reseller that just happened to be located in San Jose, so I got it the next day!
I use this product a lot both for listening to Internet radio and my audio collection over the headphones, but my primary reason for getting this product in the first place is for internet audio conferencing, and having a product like this makes it far easier than using a sound card & external microphone.
My only complaint with the device is that extended listening is difficult because the headset is tight, and it's hard to adjust this. Logitech should make it easier to use, in that respect.

Microphone broke after less than a month
I usually just wear headsets around my neck and run sound through different speakers, and that way I just can use the mic while gaming. When I put it on my ears though, the band didn't adjust comfortably, and it was like my head was in a vice. The big volume control thing in the middle of the cord - worst design idea ever - please people, stop designing them like that. It had a dead spot in the volume wheel if you turn it to the right spot. The mic mute slider on it also was very easy to turn off. I could've lived with all of that, and it would have been ok for $30, but after a month the mic stops working - the only reason I needed a headset, and it's dead.
Conclusion - bad design, uncomfortable, and very cheaply built.

Decent, but they will break on you eventually
I have owned two of these headsets and in both cases, they served me well for several months, but they eventally fall apart. If they were a bit more sturdy, they might actually be worth the $80 price tag, but for that kind of money, you can find better.
This another handy accessory whenever I need privacy hearing my you tube and video news.

Audio is good, but physical construction isn't.
Audio Playback:
Quality seems comparable to a high quality pair of headphones.
Sound Recording:
The background-noise-canceling microphone is high quality and brings in nice clean audio. However, the headset itself (the plastic frame, mic arm, etc) will produce sounds that show up in your mic-ed audio. The headphones are both mounted in sockets that have just enough play that movements of the head or attached cord will show up in your audio recording. I had to stuff the joints with a tissue to prevent clicking noises and bumps from interfering with my sound recording.
Comfort:
As others have mentioned if you have an average->large head prepare for some discomfort, there will be fairly constant pressure on your head.
Mute Button & Volume Control:
The mute button is a little too easy to activate, I have inadvertently muted the microphone on many occasions. Volume control works fine but is a little slow to respond. Frankly an on/off switch and a volume wheel would have been better than the directional button interface.
Conclusion:
I purchased this headset for the purposes of recording screen-casts. I wouldn't recommend this headset to someone else for that purpose, especially not for $90.

Quality Sound and Mic
The sound quality is good. The mic is good. Many people find the headset uncomfortable. I however do not have any concerns with the comfort level. I would not say it is super confortable and I would not say it is unconfortable. Comfort is somewhere in the middle between good and bad.
That said, the little blue power light did not work. This is important because the light indicates if you are muted. I exchanged it for a the same model and the exchange item works properly. If it was not for the "broken" blue light on the original purchase I would have rated this product with four stars.

works fine with windows xp, but cannot get this to work with Vista
The logitech headset 350 works very nicely with my windows xp, but when I try to get it to work on Vista, it sees it, but cannot pass the speech recognition test. Also, I don't hear anything through the speakers. (I am attempting to use this with my Rosetta Stone software.) When I checked on control panel for the sound levels, it said it was working fine. It was just muted and the volume controls slid down to nothing (which is odd because I have been using my headset that came with the Rosetta Stone daily, with no problems) I unchecked the mute and slid the bars up, but it still wouldn't work. The seller even sent me a new pair, but it does the same thing. I have searched for solutions through both microsoft and logitech websites, but have found none. (a google search found that others are having similar problems, without solution) If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Good Luck!

Uncomfortable and unreliable
As other reviews have mentioned, the headphones aren't very comfortable. The padding is thin and the ear cups provide pressure all over the ear, instead of around the ear.
The headset performed well for a couple months, and then suddenly the left channel went silent. After testing it on multiple machines, I found that I could get the sound in the left ear to reappear momentarily if I jiggled the cord just right. It was obviously a poor connection somewhere inside the left ear, which apparently had worked its way loose despite the fact that the headset wasn't abused physically in any way.
This sort of poor quality is not something I expect after paying almost $100. Look elsewhere if you want a USB headset that you intend to use for any length of time.

This headset worked GREAT for about 3 months. It was the best headset I ever had. Then I didn't use it for about 6 months, and when i plugged it in, it no longer worked. Good for the price but a bit uncomfortable
Easy to use, easy to install, good performance but, as others had mention it can be a bit uncomfortable if used for longer periods of time.
I am using it for Rosseta Stone speech recognition and the performance is excellent.
I think it is a great product for the price (around US25)
I'm not an audiophile, and really cannot review this headset in terms of its audio quality. Mind you, I purchased this headset for $25, not sure why it is listed at $90 right now, and it seems unanimous from other reviewers that especially for its price, its a great bargain.
What sets this headset apart from others however, is the supreme support provided by Logitech. My headsets internal wires came lose and I could no longer hear from it unless the wires were positioned in the perfect position. I got in contact with Logitech, and they sent me a replacement that arrived in three days for free.

More than basic, less than audiophile
Four people in our office use this model headset for web telephony, speech-to-text, and other applications. Audio quality is very good in both directions, and the USB connector seems to be a major part of the performance. Headset is more bulky than a basic model but not as cumbersome as a studio pair. If wearing it all day, you might want something lighter, but a constant user might also want the benefit of having the ears completely covered.

Consider Carefully
I had this model about 6 months, light use (1-3 times/week) before it died. The mic would no longer transmit and the sound remained stuck at max. After removing/re-installing the driver it was still the same, which was no real loss since they were not very comfortable in the first place.

Bad design, uncomfortable, and cheap plastic that breaks
One day while I was wearing the headphones for about 20 minutes, for no
apparent reason, one side broke, while they were sitting on my head. I know I didn't do anything to cause this, I attribute it to a bad design, and perhaps cheap plastic. So I taped the one side back on with electrical tape.
About 2 months later, again, while the earphones were on my head for quite some time, the opposite side broke. I taped that side too.. Now, I do enjoy the sound that comes from these headphones, so I figured that I could live with the tape.
Yes, they did hurt my ears when worn for more than 1/2 hour like everyone else is mentioning.
Well today, the tape gave way, and they broke again.
The sound quality is there. As far as the manufacturing quality, the only thing that seems to be made very well, is the shiny Logitech logo on the side of the earphone.
I hope Logitech learned from this mistake and will put more effort into finding a better manufacturer of their products.

Bad craftsmanship
I will echo what seems to be a common problem with this headset:
1) Extremely uncomfortable (but you can grow accustomed to it over time)
2) Poor and/or failing sound quality
The poor fit is just bad design, but most people can probably live with it. What concerns me the most is how badly the sound deteriorates. It is clearly a poor wiring job or maybe they use cheap wires, but the sound is not getting through completely. The left channel was the first to drop (completely at the time of this review), and now the right channel is dimming as well.
The mic seems to be in working order (although I have not tested it recently).
I've owned these for about half a year, and had a good experience with them until the sound started deteriorating about a month ago. Even taking precautions to take care of them, the sound is now completely shot. It is disappointing that a ~$90 headset would fail within six months. I've had much cheaper headsets last years.
Just a note, the problem seems to stem from poor wiring (or wires?), between the controller and the headset.

Great Headphones but hurt like hell!
I really like the products logitech has but for some reason these headphones start to really hurt my ear after extended periods of time on my head. By extended I mean an hour or so and if you take them off, they hurt your ears really badly. The longer they stay on your head the more painful it will be when you take them off. I also know it's not my fault because my ears are not too big or too small and I adjusted the settings of width on them and they still hurt. Don't get me wrong the quality of the mic and music is great but I just hate to wear them because they are so painful.
I have been using these head sets for 2 years and they are the best. They block the noise and are very comfortable.

Best USB headset in its class....
This is the best USB headset you'll find for under $100. Provides excellent stereo output, and outstanding voice transmission quality. True plug-n-play through it's USB connection, nothing else to do except set your program to use it as you wish. USB is very low system drag compared to sound card plug-in type analog connections, as it is pure digital from start to finish. The mic is long enough to be correctly placed near your mouth for clear voice transmissions. Some others the mic is too short and ends up behind your mouth causing them to pickup other ambient noise. Not these. I highly recommend the Logitech 350 USB's over any other headsets in this class.

Works great until it doesn't
I really really liked these phones and have recommended (and given as gifts) these to family and friends. After about 15 months it quit working; why? I don't know, but when plugged into the USB port the blue light flashed a few times and nothing more. Perhaps because I left it plugged in just about every day, who knows how many hours (lots!), whether in use or not. Anyways, considering the great quality of sound and comfort, I bought another set, however I disconnect them when not in use!
I have been using this headset for a while now and am thrilled with its quality. Comfortable to wear and very good voice quality.

don't get these "premium" ones
don't get these "premium" ones. I've bought a lot of usb headsets, and this particular model is annoying because (1) the earphone parts aren't deep enough and so your ear gets squished, and (2) that dumb medallion with the volume clicker on it dangles... truly annoying. get the standard logitech ones, silver colored -- they fit and don't have that volume medallion thing.
Good quality on sound and microphone. It's annoying that you have to ask skype to recognize it when you plug in unless you restart skype, it's tight on me (but headphones always are), and the mute button is way too easy to press during normal conversation. Still, it gets the job done and I use it all the time.
