A moving experience.
No longer do I need to invite the neighbors over for pizza and then oh-so-casually mention that I need to move the book shelves around again. Now I can keep the entire pizza for myself because I have Master Mighty-Might Movers! Sorry, neighbors... You are on your own.
These things really do work, and are most definitely worth the money!
Where have these been all my life? I love simple ideas that really make a big difference. I had a run where I moved at least twelve times within a single decade. The mechanics became routine after a while but each move was a little harder. Part of that chapter in my life was living in subsidized housing for graduate students, cabins that you had to vacate every summer for the rich vacationers. But the Mayor put a stop to that program. She decided it was academically elitist to offer such a nice deal just to students. Much better to kick out the eggheads, quadruple the rent, and just be economically elitist like everything else in that faux-liberal town.
Yep, plenty of moves. And that's not counting all the furniture rearranging, which I slightly prefer over the discussions about rearranging furniture. Many, many hours schlepping around furniture while pondering the coefficient of friction. I'm mad at myself for not inventing this first. But who knew you could just put little air hockey pucks under your book cases and glide them along without breaking a sweat? When you are done rearranging, you can tack these to the bottoms of your shoes and turn your hall into a virtual slip `n' slide.
