[+] 2.0 It threw out my headset (somewhere)!
This seems like a no-brainer good idea to protect the headset. However, the case is floppy enough that it catches on doors, car doors, tables, chairs, etc. Additionally, the velcro is very weak. As a result, when the case catches, it would spring my headset out onto the floor!! Yes, I should have stopped using it, but for some reason I continued... I returned home recently with an empty case, and cannot figure out where the headset flung out.

Was helpful, but could have been shaped better to not cause the talk button of the headset to be pressed so easily.

I LOVE this item!! I actually wasn't sure there was such a thing as a Bluetoth Carrying Case - I surfed the net and found this and it's PERFECT for the Jabra headset I have. Makes it much easier to carry the Bluetooth - THANKS!!

[+] 8.0 good quality
I carry my headset in my pocket and needed something to protect it. It comes with a belt clip which I removed. I haven't had any problems with my headset going into pairing mode even with it sharing space in my pocket with my wallet and sometimes my keys. The Velcro that holds the strap is a little weak but overall I am happy I bought this.

[+] 10.0 Great purchase and a great carrying case for my Headset.
I had never seen a carrying case for my Motorola HS820 Headset until I saw it on Amazon. I have used it once or twice, but I am happy that I purchased it because it will be great when I travel. Since my Headset is in its own Travel Case, it will be easier for me to locate it in my handbag or carry-on tote.

[+] 2.0 Not feasible
I got this product so I wouldn't have to wear my bluetooth all the time. However, when you put the piece in the case and either bump it or bend over it activates the bluetooth and calls the last person dialed. After doing this several times I have taken the case off and not used it.

This case will only work if you have a bluetooth that you can easily turn on/off. The Motorola H350 is not one of them.

Lost my last Mot H700. Hoping this case will make it less prone to 'snags' and jumping out of my pocket. So far, so good. Fits well, tight clip!!

[+] 6.0 Nice style and fits the Motorola bluetooth sets nicely. Has weak velcro
Velcro on this product is sub-standard, although the headset fits nicely and secure in it otherwise so as long as you don't plan to be very active it is secure enough inside.

[+] 6.0 Bluetooth case
Motorola BLT-04 Bluetooth Headset Carrying Case I like the case with one concern, the closure is not very secure. The velcro closure is so small that I'm concerned it will either not close or will come apart while on my belt. I've added some additional velcro to make it more secure.

[+] 8.0 motorola BLT-04 Bluetooth carrying case.
I really do like the case for my Bluetooth. It fits my bluetooth like a glove and helps keep it really nice and safe also from misplacing my bluetooth if I remember to put it in the case. I keep it in my car or my front pocket in my purse. I need to have it close for on Post you will get a ticket if you do not have a hands free communication.

[+] 10.0 Great Case!
If you are like me and lose things in the deep dark part of your purse or bag, this is a must. It also has a clip on the back so you can clip it to your visor in the car or to a pocket in your purse. Nice Touch!

[+] 2.0 Practically Useless
Comment: I am disappointed with this case.

Purchase Reason: I was looking for headset protection and prevention from scratch or marks. Was also looking for prevention of accidental calls (buttons protection). Was looking for a carrier that fits well.

Pros: Fits my headset Motorola H500. Allows headset to be clipped onto a belt.

Con: Call button on headset fits right onto the seam area where it protrudes so when in my pocket it makes random calls to the last person I spoke with. (really annoying). Like reviews said Velcro area is not large enough for proper closure. I don't think this case gives any protection, bluetooth can still be crushed with this as well as scratched. Price was not really cheap either. *I do not recommend this case for anyone unless you are ONLY expecting a bluetooth carrier for your belt*

[+] 6.0 Fantastic, Just Don't Wear It
This is a handy-looking little product that I was looking forward to receiving, and the price is unbeatable. It arrived on time, packaged fine, and I was happy to see that it was manufactured in a solid and reliable fashion.

The problem occurred when I clipped it on my belt and wore it to the supermarket. Within a span of 5 minutes it popped off my belt three times. If you rub against something, your jacket catches on it momentarily when you're removing the outergarment, or you run your fingers along your beltline, it simply pops off.

When I looked at the clip, it appeared strong and up for the job. But once its clipped to your belt/pantline, it suddenly loses its will to fight if its disturbed in the slightest.

I upgraded from 2 stars to 3, because the holster can still be used with great success on the sun visor of the car. I use my bluetooth primarily when driving, so having it readily available on the sun visor is extremely convenient. It's a perfect solution that transforms a fickle product into a solid performer.

Just don't wear it...

[+] 8.0 Bulky but does the trick
This carrying case is bulkier than I expected whith the headset in it, but it protects the headset while keeping it where I can get my hands on it when I need it. The case is designed so that it does not press any buttons on the headset.

[+] 2.0 Did not receive what I ordered (BLT-04 Headset Case)
I ordered the item (BLT-04 Headset Case) and what I received was
a substitute. I was told the item was out of stock. If it was out
of stock, why did they ship a substitute item without contacting me
first? I ended up having to ship the item back at my expense for credit
and they cancelled the order since they claimed it was not available.
As you can imagine, I was NOT satisfied. I think I would have liked
the product if I received it.

[+] 10.0 Motorola BLT-04 Bluetooth Headset Carrying Case
This carrying case is a great edition to my Motorola headset. I previously carried my headset in my shirt pocket. This was a mistake because everytime i leaned over, the headset fell out onto the ground. This case is durable, slides right onto my belt loop, and protects my headset from abrasions. I would recommend this carrying case to anyone wanting to protect their headset.

[+] 6.0 Works great but no strap
I am using this with a HS850 and it fits perfectly. The case itself is very rigid and much higher quality than I had expected. I don't regularly wear this on my belt, rather, I just use it to protect the headset when I toss it in the glove box or in a coat pocket. For my needs it works excellent and I'd rate it 5 stars for my application. The case does not have the strap as shown in the picture. The headset is secured in place by groves in the case but this is not a guarantee that it will not fall out if bumped or turned upside down. If you're looking to sport this thing on your belt full-time you'd be better off getting a case that actually has a strap to secure the headset in place (like the one shown in the picture). For this reason I gave this an overall rating of 3 stars.

[+] 8.0 Hands Free Carrying Case
I have a H721 Motorola bluetooth device. Even though I could not really find many references to this device when I searched for a carrying case, I took a chance and purchased this one. I am very happy with the purchase. The device fits inside without a struggle to get it in or get it out of the case. So far, I haven't had any problems with it accidentally turning on as referenced in other research I saw on carrying cases. The only slight downside is that the velcro strap isn't as strong as I would prefer, but it doesn't appear that the headset will slide out easily anyway.

[+] 4.0 The Case of the Weak Closure
It is definitely an item that is needed, but the design flaw of the Velcro closure is very weak. It ends-up being a holder with a very poorly designed mechanism to close and secure the Bluetooth headset. Also, over priced when you add the shipping charge. You would think that the designers of the Bluetooth would be capable of doing a better job with this carrying case. I DO NOT recommend this item.

[+] 10.0 Case fits
This case is easy to use and the earpiece I also bought (The

Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset) fits the case with no problems. Before I just had to stuff the headset in my pocket when not in use, now I have a safe and secure case to clip on my belt and place my headset with no trouble.

[+] 2.0 Did the Guy Who Designed This Test It?
Like everyone else, I bought this for my Motorola H700--the item this was supposedly designed for. Really? Did anyone at Motorola test it before they started selling it? The fit is great, until you realize that just by putting your Bluetooth headset into the case, you have turned it on to Pairing mode--real drag on the battery. This should have been a hard case. Oh well, the search continues...

[+] 10.0 simply, it works
I mean, it's a case. It holds my headset well. There are no issues with it pushing the button on the side of the headset. It's strong but not heavy & the clip works on my belt.
Reviewer [A3M3PA5R3QMEMQ] | Date [July 12, 2008]
[+] 4.0 BLT-04 Case is a flawed item that got little thought in the making
I have had this case for about a month now. I use it with my H710 motorola earbud. It has fallen out at work (found it on carpet, fortunately) and also in car (on carpet again). The velcro strap holder is worse than useless. It snags on clothes and therefore will come open very easily if worn on belt. So...downers for velcro strap. Uppers? I like the clip for the belt. Fairly easy to get on and off belt, and handy when driving. Pretty easy getting unit in and out of case.
I must say, having read several other reviews, I disagree with the pairing button getting pressed a lot and draining battery (is the H710 that different from the H700? I don't think so). I just have not experienced that (yet?). I used to keep my earbud in a little soft zippered pouch attached to the Razr phone case (body glove) and THAT did create much button pressing on a regular basis, annoying at best. But I find now with this harder cover unit, I'm not getting the beeps any more. (yet?). On the brightest note, It is nice to need a case for such a helpful item, the bluetooth earbud.

So, overall, this case will have to suffice till something better comes along because of our complaints about poor design issues. Get with it, Motorola!!!
Sincerely,
Atindra

[+] 10.0 Motorola carrying case for a bluetooth.
I really like it because then I know where my bluetooth is. I miss placed my bluetooth one day and thought I had lost it. My husband found it a week later in the laundry basket when sorting the laundry to do it. I told him I need a carrying case to put it so I wouldn't lose it again.

[+] 6.0 Mike in Antelope
I have been looking for a carrying case for my wife's bluetooth headset for close to a year ! The Motorola BLT-04 carrying case is the only one I have seen . No stores even offer an item like this ! So, I purchased 2 of them . One for me & one for my wife . I like it because it makes it easy to store and carry my headset . It also fits on my belt or on my wifes purse . It's not particularly attractive but gets the job done . My only complaint is that it pushes on the call button & causes my headset to light up momentarily each time you secure the strap . So far it doen't seem to affect the battery life . I think it works well for my H700 & HS850 but the H500 might have problems turning on by accident .This has been a problem for us with the H500 with out a carrying case .I have not been able to confirm this yet. So I can't say for sure. It's a good carrying case but could use a little more space away from the call button.

[+] 2.0 don't waste your money
bought this and hated it. wasn't worth the postage to even return it. The clip to hold it on your waist or belt is terrible, doesn't stay in place. The velcro closure on the top/front is cheap and small. Not well made. I expected better from a Motorola product. This one was a total disppointment.

[+] 10.0 KEEP YOUR BLUETOOTH EARPIECE SAFE AND SECURE
This is a great idea! You have cases for phones so why not have one for your bluetooth. I have a Motorola HS850 earpiece and wanted to make sure that I would not lose or misplace it. This holder clips on to my car visor or my purse so it is handy. It fits my earpiece perfectly. I got one for my husband and brother for their bluetooth. You can't beat the quality or the price. I definitely recommend this for anyone that has an earpiece and is constantly misplacing it.

[+] 2.0 Carrying case
I do not reccomend this product. The idea is good, but the case side wall presses on the pairing button of the H700 and turns it on to pair up, thus causing the battery to run down.

[+] 4.0 Case not as I wanted
I purchased the carrying case to be able to carry my Motorola headset in my purse since I don't use it frequently. Sad to say it does not work well for that! When the headset is pressed against something it will turn on by itself == not good! However, it does work ok outside the purse; that is attached to the outside of the purse. The case is some protection to just having the headset laying around. I know it was quite inexpensive but I did expect more out of it.
