Oxo Good Grips Stainless Steel Sink Organizer

Great looking design that works well with the other Oxo sink accessories, but the fact that it rusts easily is a deal breaker. It's too bad because I love all my other Oxo sink accessories (like the soap pump, soap dispensing brush, etc.), and it would have been nice to have a matching organizer for all of them.

This has been a saving grace for my counter top. It's been nice to keep everything organized by the sink. I love my Oxo brush, too, so the set feels complete. Even though it is pretty sturdy, I wish it was a bit more substantial looking (the metal looks a bit cheap). Overall, VERY satisfied.

I used to keep my dish brushes in the sink and could never find them under the dishes, so I purchased this organizer. I loved it at first. It looked nice and held both our dish brushes and our soap dispenser. However, after several weeks, it started to rust. Not only that, a black stain started to form underneath it on our counter. No matter how often I cleaned the bottom, the black stain would come back and it was very hard to get clean. After a couple of months of dealing with this rusty organizer and stained counter, I just gave up and threw it away. I really wish it had been made better and been able to withstand being wet. This is not a good product and I do not recommend it.

I picked up this rack without any of the accessories pictured here. I use it with the Oxo stick-shaped-wand (the one used for glasses) and with an O-cel-o dish wand. The O-cel-o dish wand seems to suffer from none of the issues I read about the Oxo wands, by the way, and I recommend it.

In place of the soap dispenser i have an Oxo hand-sized soap-dispensing scrub brush.

Its been a big help getting my sink organized. No idea how it'll hold up, I've only had it a few days.

This is just what I needed. The drip tray keeps my brushes and sponges from dripping water all over the counter. The soap dish holds a bottle of liquid hand soap nicely and would also hold a bar of soap.

All the reviews are correct, there is a rust problem. Our Oxo Good Grips Stainless Steel Sink Organizer is about 2 years old and the brush holder broke off the base today. However, that did not stop me from ordering another one. We're hoping the quality of the "Stainless Steel" has improved over the years.

I'm big on every day household products that are useful and efficient but also have aesthetic appeal. I live in a modern loft style home. There is very little "hidden" space. Everything is out in the open to be seen, so I like to keep things as clean and organized as possible. I thought I had found this in the Oxo stainless steel sink organizer. I wanted something that took up minimal space, but also looked as nice as a sink organizer could. I know, I'm asking a lot! So, when a product is labeled "stainless steel" I don't expect it to sprout rust stains after less than a few months use. I've had this product for just about a year now and I already need to replace it. It looks gross. My review otherwise would be all five stars if it wasn't for the rust issue.

It's good to keep your sponges and wash brush...but the brush doesn't always stay put. I love it though because it looks a lot better to have things put away!

The Oxo Organizer an excellent product. Well made and does hold the kitchen utensils and soap dispenser as advertised. A good buy for the price.

Let me begin by saying that this product is well put together and holds the OXO brushes well. I like the design and it is easy to use. Emptying the tray is simple. For the first week the product was exactly what I had hoped for.

Now onto the fatal flaw. This product is clearly advertised as being made of stainless steel. There is even a big sticker on the bottom of the tray reminding the user that it is stainless steel. This is a false claim. The product began to rust within two weeks of moderate use. Every part of tray that water touches (basically the entire thing) is clearly showing rust. I'm preparing to send mine back and I'll see if the company follows through with their satisfaction guarantee. I'm hoping I just got one from a bad batch and that they can send me a truly stainless steel version. Though I see other users have made the same complaint about rust so I am not optimistic. I will update this review when I hear back from OXO.

I'm not having any problem pulling out the brushes as one reviewer noted. You don't have to hold onto it to pull the brushes out. The brushes that hold their own soap ALL LEAK. Simply don't put the soap in the brush. Instead, use dawn green apple dish soap/hand soap - yes, you can wash your hands with it, too. Then you can just take the brush out of the holder and squirt some soap on it from the dispenser. I bought a different soap dispenser from crate and barrel that is also oxo and it fits perfectly in this set and I love the look and function of it. What I love about this is that you have two brushes in front of you - one for cleaning the sink and one to use on dishes. Long before I found the organizer, I'd been using these brushes. I have an extra set of the brush refills so I'll always have a clean set: When you feel that your brushes need to be sanitized, you can put them in the dishwasher and snap in your extra set. I also like the fact that there's a slot for a scrubby sponge in the front. Sometimes I need a scrubbing sponge to clean my stove top. I really like not having to dig all this stuff out from under the sink. Follow my tips and you'll love it.

I bought this at Bed Bath & Beyond for $24.99 recently - I have no idea why - I think I was intoxicated by the wall-o-gadgets and the bright lighting. Anyway - I'm returning today. It's lame! My complaint is mostly with the Oxo brush and sponge scrubbers that go with it (you have to purchase them separately) and the way they LEAK dishsoap down the handles. I'd understand if it was happening with just one of them - things are duddy sometimes - but this is happening with BOTH of them. Poor design.

This tray, though - it's basically a petri dish for growing bacteria in the gross water it catches. You have to clean it out all the time or it will literally stink up your kitchen. JUST SAY NO. You don't need trendy matchy match stuff for your kitchen. If you think the cheaper (but better made) sponge holders are ugly, stick them under the cabinet. This thing is just a total waste of money.

Great idea. But my Oxo brushes (the ones that hold soap in the handles) just don't fit well - the fall over & out or drip to the side. Wish they worked together better.

Like the other Oxo products I have tried, this is a well designed product that makes kitchen life that much easier, cleaner and more organized while lending the operation some handsome looks to boot. My only complaint would be the organizer's size, which is pretty dinky. While it's a plus that it's narrow enough to fit behind my sink -- I have a small kitchen and need all the work space I can get -- this product really only holds two dish brushes and a cake of soap or small sponge. My brushes used to hang from push pins, or more often lie in the bottom of the sink. Now they have a home in this stainless rack complete with draining tray. This is a better solution, but size-wise pretty marginal.

this little kitchen tool does it all - drains and dries a sponge, holds a small brush and keeps your scouring pay dry - it is sturdy and good looking and will replace that wet rusty holder you now have your working tools in - buy it!

I love this little contraption because it helps organize my brush and cleaner in one convenient place. It keeps me from leaving them on the side of the sink or in the sink. There is also a convenient place to put a sponge. Watch out, though. You need to remember to empty out the water from the tray every so often so that it doesn't get too smelly :)

My only complaint with it is that you have to empty the tray. Would have been nice if it were open on one side or something so that it drained itself into the sink...

Great product for organizing your OXO brushes. It helped minimize kitchen sink clutter and keeps them handy. I should have bought it sooner.
