[+] 8.0 Great deal, good phones...
With kids and a dog we've gone through a number of of these multiple handset phones over the years. This model looks very similar to the prior model, a little taller and different battery terminal so they're not compatible. It comes very compact box for all that's inside. We don't use the answering machine part so i can't comment on that. Entering the phonebook numbers was pretty easy. Copy the numbers into the other handsets was only a matter of a couple keystrokes so that was a big timesaver. Battery life seems fine so far. Range seems similar to the older line. Very happy with it overall so far.

I already had purchased a 'single phone' of this type separately, that's why finding a four-set was a great deal.

Convient cordless phone system - clear sound and good loud ring. A little trouble learning how to program system, but the essentials work well. Would recommend to others.

[+] 10.0 Great phone!
We purchased this phone during Christmas specials and had been waiting for it to go on sale for quite some time. Sure am glad I waited! Don't buy this phone thinking that you're just going to grab itand go - it just isn't the case. It has a ton of features which take quite a bit of time to read through and set, if you're interested in using them. The firs thing you need to figure out is how loud you'd like for it to ring. We couldn't figure that one out for quite awhile and well, it because annoying. Once we did, the other features were quite easy to figure out and it's just been a great phone. It has a built in answering system, which I love, and the 4 handsets are a God send in this house. No more running a 440 relay to get to the phone! The clarity is exceptional, by far the best we've found in these phones. We have taken back some in the past that were just plain aweful. This one is crystal clear and just awesome.

My only complaint is the talking time. If you forget and leave the main receiver off the hook overnight, guess what? It won't work in the morning, nor will ANY of the other handsets, which I honestly think is quite weird. Once you're figured that out, the rest is smooth sailing. Highly recommend!

[+] 8.0 Great Phone
This is a great phone. The buttons are large, and easy to use. I would buy again, but it's not perfect. Pros: 1) Ordinary AAA rechargable batteries is a big plus. I'm throwing away the old phone because the batteries are more than a new phone system. 2) Super clear, doesn't interfere with Bluetooth speakers or my Internet like the old phone. 3) Large easy to use buttons. Cons: C1) Panisonic got rid of the Room monitor feature from the older 2.4 GHz phone system. This is really a shame since the old Panisonic made a fantastic clear digital baby monitor with no neighbors able to ease drop. C2) The down arrow is now the same as the menu button from the top menu, a real dumb step backwards. Caller ID, probably the most used feature to see who called while away, is now buried in a menu. On the old phone, you just hit the down arrow to scroll through the callers, but not with this phone - you hit menu twice. And I'm sure it's just me, but why can't they make a universal base?

[+] 10.0 Panasonic KX-TGA101S Telephone
This Telephone fits our inter-net phone system perfectly with it's base phone and three extensions in other rooms. Only the base unit needs to be connected to the main cable line and allows the use of the other three wireless extensions. So many featured I may never even use. The price was also a big plus. [+] 2.0 HORRIBLE PHONE! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
I have owned this phone for 9 days and it is the worst thing I have ever purchased. 2 days after owning it we had to call customer support because we could not aswer calls. They had us running around for an hour unpluging base stations, take out all the battery's and putting them back stating the system needed to be " bumped ". I have just gotten off the phone with customer service after once again not being able to answer the phone and they said they could only replace the unit with a REFURBISHED ONE!!!! I did not pay over $80 to own a phone for 9 days and have it replace with a REFURBISHED one! They refuse to replace with a new unit. I will never purchase a panasonic product ever again. I always thought of them as a good solid company. No more. Also, every time you answer a call it shows as a missed call. Half of the calls don't even register on the caller id. Poor, poor product. I gave it a 1 only because we can't give negative stars. If you could I would give it a -5.

[+] 10.0 Panasonic does it again
We bought these phones as a Christmas present for my parents. Based on some of the reviews regarding battery life and phone range, I was a bit worried but I have had great luck with Panasonic phones so I was willing to risk it. I was right.

My parents love these phones! They are easy to use, easy to read (which is important for older eyes) and even though they live in a 2500 sq ft house, they've had no problem with connectivity to the base unit.

So far I've received no negative feedback about battery life - in fact they were happy that the phones took regular batteries which are relatively inexpensive (albeit less eco-friendly than some other options).

When it is time for new phones in my house, I will absolutely consider these phones.

[+] 10.0 Great phone for an excellent price
We have in the past used a 5.8GHz Panasonic phone and loved it. Therefore when we started looking for a new 6.0DECT I automatically gravitated to Panasonic. This is again an excellent product from Pana.
What is nice is they have enlarged the button size and screen display font. Not that our prior one was bad but I like the improvement.
Features are pretty much the same as our old 5.8GHz other than the fact that they have introduced the AA rechargeable battery which is also great as now you dont have to worry about buying a specific battery from Panasonic only when the current one dies out.
This phone holds charge for about 4 days without use and obviously depending on usage will require more frequent charges
Overall a very good product for a great price

[+] 4.0 Panasonic KX-TG1034S
This product got good reviews so we bought it. Sadly, the range is very short, signal is lost even when standing near the base...very frustrating. When the phone rings, it is often continuous more like an alarm. We are very disappointed in the product.

[+] 8.0 A very nice phone system
We have one phone at each end of the house, one in the Office (center) and the other in the shop outside. They all work flawlessly and I'm very pleased with them. The delivery was very prompt in spite of the fact that I ordered them just before Christmas.

I only have one minor complaint and I would like the phones to have more volume for the audio.

[+] 10.0 Great clarity, batter life, and distance.
This phone is much better than the 5.8 Ghz, that I was previously using. I accidentally left one of the handsets off the charger for several days. When I noticed it, it still had plenty of batter life.

As for clarity, it's perfect, not static or interference from all the wifi products I have around the phone and running through my home.

In terms of distance, my house has some pretty solid walls. I can go from the 2nd floor, to the basement, outside and down the sidewalk, before there is any type of drop in reception.

The handsets communicate with each other, so that I can enter an address into one, and it sends it to all the other handsets, eliminating the need to be repetitive with that task.

Many other great features.

[+] 10.0 A Remarkable Bargain
It arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble and install. Due to the inexpensive cost of this product I thought it would be a cheap imitation of a cordless phone. I was wrong. It was very easy to set-up and works perfectly in all rooms. The batteris are inexpensive and it has every feature anyone would need in a cordless phone.

[+] 2.0 Disappearing sound
I selected this phone because I needed a 4 unit telephone system and it had good reviews.

From the moment I started using it, after a few minutes into a call, my voice would disappear from the earpiece. The person on the other end could hear me well, but I could not hear myself, which caused me to raise my voice.

I returned it for an exchange hoping that it was a fluke with the set I recieved. I was wrong. I am returning the second set and going to Costco or Target for something else.

[+] 10.0 Panasonic has never disappointed me
The sound clarity is excellent. There has been no static. I use these phones inside my home, in the garage and patio and have not had an issue with range. I chose a Panasonic because my previous phone was a 12 year old Panasonic and still works well.

[+] 10.0 Love it
Have been using these phones for almost a year and have had no problems with them at all. Really like the share feature so you don't have to put all the phone numbers in each phone. The intercom is very handy with a large house. We also have a two phone set made by another manufacturer and they all work together. We were amazed to find the unit in the garage is not affected by the heat or cold. Haven't had to replace batteries yet. Very pleased with purchase and would buy them again.

[+] 8.0 Performance good, service fair.
Phone works very nicely so far. One of the chargers was no good. When I emailed customer service they responded by telling me to ship it to a repair center in another state, at my expense of course. Had to wrap it up, wait on line twenty minutes at post office, etc. It's a minor item; they should have just sent me another one after my initial email. Par for the course, as they say, for these days.

[+] 10.0 Works great with XLink
I bought these phones to go along with my XLink Bluetooth wireless device, and they have not disappointed. I love saving all that $$$ not having to pay for a land line and being able to have my cell phone calls routed through these phones. I don't use many of the other features of the phone, but they work great as intended, and it's real nice having 4 handsets instead of 3 (especially when you're lazy and don't feel like walking to the next room to find a phone).

[+] 6.0 Panasonphone
We bought this set when our other set was having problems. I do not like the caller ID on this phone to go back and see who may have called while you were out is a pain to figure out and the phone takes a while to show the number calling. Other then that it is okay.

[+] 8.0 Overall good selection
This phone set lives up to my expectations based on my experience with an older single set Panasonic cordless phone. I like the ability to use the phones as an intercom and the conferencing ability that allows two of the phones to pick up an incoming call simultaneously. I also like the ability to enter the phone book on one set and send a copy to all other sets.
It would have been nice to have lighted buttons and the process of deleting a caller ID entry is somewhat cumbersome. But these are minor complaints. Range and battery life are excellent. I recommend this phone set.

[+] 10.0 Excellent phone system so far
We have been using these phones with answering machine for a couple of months now and so far like them very much. There are so many features that I haven't even learned yet; however, it is easy enough to get started with just the basics that it is not a problem. My sister has the same phone system and recommended it to me. As always, big sister was correct!

[+] 8.0 Good, solid cordless phone
My wife views answering the telephone as an aerobic event. This Panasonic phone with three extensions was right up her alley. She has phones sitting all over the house. If it rings more than twice before she can get to it, she says, "to hell with it," and let's the answering function pick it up. Heaven forfend she might strain something.

Sound quality is adequate and reception seems uniform. Setting it all up was no real problem once you learned to read whatever language the instructions were written in. The menu function is purely counter-intuitive. Overall, a good little phone and a fine value.

[+] 10.0 indestructible phones!
I just got these phones a month ago, and I love them already. Shortly after recieving them, one fell into the sink while I was washing vegetables, so I quickly took out the batteries, shook out the water and dried it off. I put it in the garage as it is very hot in the garage during our summers. It worked fine and is still working just like the others. These phones have great reception and do not get static-ey when you are in certain parts of your house like our others did. I totally recommend these phones.

[+] 8.0 What message
This phone system is just fine except for the answering machine, it doesn't have a beep or any sound to alert you there is a message. The light on top of the phone blinks but it is so small you don't pay much attention to it. The answering part has very good sound quality as do the phones themselves. Overall quality is very good, large buttons are great, selections of ring tones are very good.

[+] 10.0 Very reliable and fully-featured phone system with several small issues
I bought this to replace an aging AT&T cordless in our kitchen with poor reception and mushy button-feel. We had already been using a Panasonic KX-TG5632M 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Digital Cordless Answering System with Dual Handsets, which has provided us with trouble-free service from day one (now into its third year of life in our house), so Panasonic had already proven itself as a reliable phone maker. I really only needed 1 extra handset, but saw this on sale, so I bought the entire set.

Pros:
-----

- 4 handsets is plenty. You can add 2 more for a total of 6, which should be enough for anyone.

- Long range and reliable. I can walk downstairs into the basement and clarity is still perfect.

- Needs only base station to be plugged into phone jack. Satellite handsets only need to be powered by the small power block (see my photos).

- Base unit and satellite chargers are compact and take up very little space. Phone is light (5 ounces).

- Easy to use menu and big number buttons, much like a cellphone. So similar in fact, that my dad has taken to mistakenly expecting the phone to display the caller's number like a cellphone (we don't have Caller ID).

- Pushing any direction on the directional pad brings up a menu. Contrast with my KX-TG5632, which requires me to push a particular (small) button on the top right row.

- Intercom feature where you can call another handset. Handy for talking to family members in other parts of the house (say, the garage or backyard).

- Each handset has its own phonebook (which can be copied in part or in whole with other handsets), so each member of your family can have his/her own phone list.

- LCD shows date and time, a very handy feature. Phone can also be set as an alarm clock (ring once, or daily).

- 16 minute message record time, which sounds small, but in my experience, most people leave messages under 30 seconds, unless they are windbags.

- 15 fun ring tones, which includes some melodies

- handy phone locator button which causes other handsets to ring so you can find them

- Everything needed is included in the box, with nothing more to buy (except maybe headphones). Wall mount, 4 belt clips, phone cord included. I don't ever need the belt clip, but it's there for those who do.

- Speaker phone feature is loud.

- Environmentally more responsible packaging with no styrofoam. Only some plastic bags. Batteries do not contain cadmium, mercury or lead.

- Unlike a lot of phones, uses standard AAA Ni-MH batteries, not specially shaped ones, so you can easily replace them yourself when they don't charge anymore. This prolongs the service life of this unit indefinitely, making it very cost effective to own. Dead, sealed-in, and not easily replaceable batteries are responsible for me having to replace a lot of previous cordless phones.

Cons:
-----

- Phonebook can only hold a pitiful total of 50 entries

- No number of messages shown on base unit. It just lights up.

- Slightly homely design. More attractive from the back than the front. Handsets are taller than I expected.

- 16 minutes may not be enough for you if you are a message hoarder.

- Headset jack is a mini-plug, so your regular headphones you use for your mp3 player won't fit.

- Cannot copy the last number dialed to the phonebook. It shows up in redial, but cannot be added.

- I don't like the orange LCD. Prefer green or blue.

All in all, an excellent phone that should last you a lifetime with little or no maintenance required. I am happy with this purchase.

[+] 10.0 Cordless phones that live up to their promise and sound great
I had almost given up on ever owning a cordless phone that was actually good for talking on the phone. My experience was they're all staticy, have short range, and lousy battery life. The I started reading about DECT 6.0 and read some of the other reviews here for this Panasonic 4 phone set and was convinced to try them.

Wow, am I really glad I did. First, most importantly, the call quality on them is great. There's no interference with all the other wireless devices in the house or with other phones, they just sound great.

The battery life is also stellar, in both standby and talk mode.

Beyond that, they've got a ton of great convenience features I like: each phone can function as a speaker phone; you can use them as phone to phone intercoms throughout the house; the stored numbers on one phone can be saved and copied to another phone. Read the full description of course but I think you'll be impressed with using these phones.

The system also comes with an answering system. Luckily that's also easy to disable if you have voicemail through your phone company.

[+] 2.0 Talk and then it starts beeping and no more conversation
Love the phones other than when my wife and I both try to both talk to someone like a relative. Whoever picks up the phone first, great, the second person that picks up another phone, after about 1 - 2 minutes, the second phone just starts beeping and you can no longer hear any conversation. Then you have to turn the phone off, and back on again, and you can talk for another minute or two, then more constant beeping. Turn it off again. The batteries are good, fully charged, and the base, is about 20 feet away, no further than the other phone that's in use.

[+] 8.0 Clear sound and reliable performance, although not "sexy" looking
I originally purchased a set of V-tech phones that oozed hi-tech and sexy, with color image display and a futuristic shape. I returned after realizing that for all their sex appeal, the base couldn't be wall-mounted. After looking at the positive reviews and confirmation that this unit is, indeed, wall-mountable, I jumped in. Know in advance - it's not a flashy phone. The display is black and white and very basic and the keys are, well, boring. But I've grown to love it as a reliable, well-perfoming phone. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. You won't be disappointed with this phone, other than possibly with its appearance.

[+] 4.0 Simple, Easy, Reliable Panasonic Cordless-Good Value
If you seek a very nice, simple to set up, easy to purchase and most of all very reliable cordless phone I can strongly recommend this one. It has more than enough features for 95% of everyone needing a cordless phone. Having four seperate headsets is very important for someone like me who is getting older. I have one in the bedroom, basement, kitchen and living room. The battery lasts seemingly forever; the reception is crystal clear and strong, and it has a classy design. The DECT format is brilliant and is better than any other cordless phone I have owned.

I bought this phone set a month ago. When I received it, I found that one of the AC adapters was not functioning correctly (would not charge). I called Panasonic and they said they would send me a new one immediately. 24 days and 3 times faxing the information to them I still haven't received the new adapter. Here's my opinion about this product:
1. Clear sound.
2. Light weight but the battery lasts hours of talking.
3. Easy to use and program.
4. Convenient and powerful speaker phone feature as well as the intercom.
5. Reasonable price.
6. Last for years.

You never regret when buying this phone, and perhaps come back and buy it again years later.

[+] 8.0 Phones works almost perfect!
Setting up our new phones was easy and quick. One is parked between two wireless printers with absolutely no interference. Only negative is that when looking at the blinking light for new message it does not tell us how many are there like our old Panasonic nor does it make a sound so we know there is a message without looking. Also, we don't seem to be able to turn off the speaker phone during the call. Perhaps we need to reread the book.

[+] 8.0 Answer machine is annoying.
Phone is nice. Packaging was bad(everything just in a box loosely), but everything was in good condition. My only gripe was the answering machine would have a long blank space after the caller hung up and then a period of dial tone and then a voice saying "thank you for the call". I wish that when they hang up the machine would return the favor.
