the telephone that broke after a month
Hi:
I haven't used this telephone very much since I bought it, the LCD on one of the hand set went blank, and it shows nothing. Very unhappy with this purchase. I guess it is a chinese made low quality electronic. I have an original Panasonic made by Japan had no problem whatsoever. I can't even give it back because I didn't keep the original box.

Cordless phone review
I had a Panasonic cordless for over 5 years. It finally started giving problems and call drops. I was pretty satisfied with that one, so I chose Panasonic again. I haven't had any problem with this one so far. It was easy to use. I just read the user manual for copying phone numbers from one handset to another. I was expecting it to be automatic but it is manual. Anyway it works nicely. Haven't noticed any audio quality improvements from my previous non DECT phone. But i guess my previous one was very good too. Haven't seen any issues with Battery, so can not comment on Battery life.
In my business a phone plays a vital role and I must say this phone has delivered everything they say it does. The speaker phone is the best I heard heard and I love all the other nice features this phone has . There is only one thing I would change and that would be the volumne control could be a notch or two higher , other than that this phone is excellent .

Piece of utter crap - don't be fooled by good reviews
This is the second set I've owned, 3 handsets per set, so 6 all together. I suspect highly that the good reviews are due to people reviewing the phone too soon after purchasing. It works great for a while and then turns to junk. Both times I've owned this phone. It's too late of course to return it and the warranty service stinks. So I get to throw the thing away and try to find a decent phone.
Panasonic should be ashamed to produce this piece of junk.
Be forewarned - if you buy anyway because of all the good reviews, you'll most likely be sorry.
This buy for one of the best purchases I have ever made. sound quality. my bedroom phone does does have to be connected the the telephone line- so it is great for a person with only one jack in the home- just love it.
Panasonic DECT 6.0-Series Dual-Handset Cordless Phone System with Answering System (KX-TG1032S)
This is a good phone. It's not too expensive and it looks nice. Has good features too. The battery life might not be great as we only had it a month, we see it doesn't seem to last as long as the other phone we owned...but it's fine.

Digital phone review
The phone arrived promptly and have been very happy with the style and also the fact that it does have an answering machine
I bought it because I was looking for a GE replacement. It has everything I was looking for. The sound is acceptable. I added the headphone and it add the portability I was looking for. The commands are easy to found out from the phone. I recommend.

Panasonic Phone review
I replaced my home phone from Vtech with Panasonic on a recommendation of my nephew and I was really surprised at the quality of this phone, especially the battery life and ease of use. The price was also reasonable. Great product..

Great Phones/ One draw back
The dual phone system, has clear audio, easy to use and I am glad I purchased. I researched and researched for months before purchasing. The only part that I don't like regarding these phones, is that on the base you cannot mute the answering machine. You can turn it down, but not off. Just a quirky part of the phone.
Great set for apartment or small home. Place set in kitchen or living room and the other in bedroom. Works well for me. I'm very satisfied and I am familiar with Panasonic products reliability.
The sound quality is poor.
The call waiting button is hard to see
If I would have known I never would have purchased this product.
My wife and I bought this set as a gift to a close friend. So far we've heard no complaints from her, so we assume everything is fine and she likes it. She would tell if there's anything wrong.
Great product, for a great price, with one significant drawback. Most of the time, when an incoming caller hangs up before the answering machine starts recording the message, the answering machine screws up -- it leaves the line open for about 15-30 seconds, recording the automated "If you'd like to make a call, please...". Apparently, there is a problem with some Panasonic phones where they do not detect no-message hangup-s properly. It can be really annoying if you get a lot of calls like that. Otherwise the phone is top-notch.
By the way, I did call Panasonic support, and got in touch with a live representative (that also spoke English well, what a win!) a minute. I explained the situation and she advised me to unplug power to the phone, and then reconnect the power while holding a 3-button combo (Stop-Skip-AnswerOn?). If that didn't work, I had the option of exchanging the phone, as it is still under warranty. Unfortunately, the 3 button magic didn't work, and I just left it at that. What's the point to pay for return shipping of a fifty dollar phone, and then go without a phone (or at least an answering machine) for weeks?

Best phone ever!
I bought this phone for the home for Christmas and we love it. For us old folk, its easy to see the numbers and what is viewed on the screen. My wife likes the intercom. She doesn't have to scream from one end of the house to tell me its for me. Just touch the intercom and transfer. It works like a charm and we have 2 of them. You'll love this phone system. It beats the 2 cans and string we had before.

My first cordless
While working for the phone company (NWB-USWEST-QWEST) as a technician up until 1997 it was unbelievable how many of our trouble dispatches resulted in cordless phones gone bad. I always had cordless = bad in my mind. Well now retired and dealing with a broken leg I bought this Panny 6.0 to make life more convenient. I am very happy with it. Things have improved somewhat in the last decade. COOL PHONE. But I still have two Western Electric rotary phones working. Most of you will have to Google that. For the price I paid on Amazon it is a really nice addtion to our daily life at home.

Panasonic KX-TG1032S
I had done the research and am very happy with our phones. Everything as described and promised. The one thing missing is the lighted keypad, which I knew about, and the only other problem I've had is confusing it with our TV remote, as it is nearly the same size and shape - the handsets are even smaller- very slim and sleek. We're happy with our choice, and our (techno-savvy) grown kids may be ordering the same model after seeing ours.
Purchased a different Panasonic about 5 years ago mainly for the ease of installment. Disappointed that it didn't last any longer. Hopefully, this one will. Loved the price though!!

Phone is OK but the usable +range is a little dissappointing.
The functionality of the phone and answering machine are first rate with no complaints, the usable range of the hand sets is a bit disappointing, I would say you start to loose signal at about 65 feet with three interior walls.
I have a much older Panasonic answering machine with remote hand sets that has external antenna's and those have an outstanding range, I can talk on the phone inside a metal barn about 200' from the base unit that is inside a house with one of those older hand sets.
I did lots of research on phones because we've had terrible luck lately in this department. These phones were rated very highly so I bit the bullet and purchased them when they went on sale.
They work for a couple of months but the handsets eventually stop connecting to the base. And when they do connect, they cut in a out to where the person on the other end can't understand what you are saying.
I just want a decent phone that works, but this is not it.
I have been using this system for a month and am quite pleased with it. It is easy to use and the instructions are clear. I really appreciate the battery life because my last Panasonic cordless system would hardly hold a charge before it finally bit the dust. The size of the handset is perfect for me and much better than my last cordless handset. I would definitely recommend this system for anyone who doesn't require lots of different functions beyond what this system delivers. I like the duel handset too. This system is quite nice.
This phone is as good as al of the previous reviews indicated. Main weakness, as noted in those reviews, is that the menu operation is not as straight-forward as it could be. Deleting caller ID entries requires several menu steps, although you can eventually find the "erase all" prompt, instead of having to go through several steps to delete each call.

Works as Advertised - So Far
We first ordered the KX-TG9332T from amazon and it was awful, constantly telling us to "Re-establish Link to Base." This phone, however, seems to work exactly as advertised. I guess that means it should receive top marks. It's just a phone, so I can't rave about it, but call quality, battery life, and ease of use are good. I haven't really tested the range but it works perfectly within the confines of my house.

Our old panasonic was dieing. Guess it was the battery. Cost of this phone not much more than battery. So what we got for the extra money was an additional phone for the living room and a phone which has better clarity. Pretty good deal.

Excellent, Excellent Phones
My last set of Panasonic phones are still going strong at a friend's house. I thought they were good until I bought these (and a 3rd handset).
These Dect 6.0 phones are great. The range is awesome, battery life is awesome, and clarity is awesome. I use speaker phone 100% of the time, and the sound quality is excellent. People who I speak with have no clue I am using speaker phone.
Tip: if you want to use a headset with these phones, use a Panasonic headset. For some reason all other headsets I've tried are very low volume.
Nice phone. Easy to setup and use. I do wish that it had a backlit keypad. Great battery life.

Im sure there are better phones out there.
The sound on the phone while you are talking keeps changing so you have to keep adjusting the volume level to hear the other person. Also the option on the phone, ie caller id, speed dial, are not intuitive and you have to read the manual to figure them out. It does the job of a phone but im sure you can find a better phone out there.

Good for the home
A good easy to use system for the home. Only criticism is that the message light should be more visible. I have missed several messages because the flashing light is slightly recessed in the base unit.

Excellent for the price
The quality on this was far better than I expected - especially with an affordable price! It has proved easy to use and I have rheumatoid arthritis so my fingers can be stiff sometimes. I get very clear reception. The instructions were easy to follow. I would highly recommend it.
I'm returning the phone because the volume even at its highest setting is so very low. The clarity is excellent even at a the low volume, but, there can't be any ambient noises or you won't be able to hear a thing. Furthermore, the loudspeaker is not working since when I turned it on hoping that might solve my problem, the speech was almost unintelligible. I'm disappointed because everything else about the phone is great.
These are one of the best cordless phone products I have purchased. Chalk one up for Panasonic.

Works Great for Us
We've had this phone for at least a year now and have been really happy with it. Good reception, user-friendly, answering machine works well. The extra handset was an added bonus that we didn't think we'd use, but it's come in handy many times.
We ordered this phone set after reading the reviews on line. It works great! We have it hooked up with our old phone/answering machine to give us three phone sets. We are using the old answering machine because the one on the Panasonic doesn't display the number of messages waiting. That is the only down side I see to this phone system.

replacement phones
I bought these phones for one main reason. They take AAA rechargeable batteries. I had Uniden phones before this and when the batteries went, I bought new ones and they didn't last any time at all and were quite expensive. Also, surprisingly, these phones are very simple to use. Love the Speakerphone and built in phone book. The volumne on these phones doesn't go as high as I'd like. Sometimes, if I'm in the middle of something, I like to lay the phone down and continue working. I still do that, but not if I have to lay the phone too far from where I am. I don't know how long these phones will last, but I'm very happy with them so far.
This is an excellent phone especially if you live in a house which needs a phone upstairs and in the kitchen.

Good quality, meets our needs
We purchased this handset system for our daughter's apartment. The speaker button was an important feature so our little granddaughter can better talk to relatives who call (such as ourselves). One set is in our daughter's bedroom, and the other in their small living room. We owned a similar set, and seeing that it is still popular, we got this same brand and similar model for them. The sound is good, technology fairly easy to figure out (maybe four not five stars). Good buy.

I Should Have Known Better, but I Always Trusted Panasonic
The volume on the phone and the answering machine is VERY low at it's highest level. Cheaply made. I will have to replace this soon. I am surprised that Panasonic could make such an inferior product. I should have known better. A $52 phone is still a $52 phone.

Not bad, especially for the price
Audio is inconsistent. Sometimes great, sometimes not, sometime I can't hear my caller, sometimes they can't hear me. Frustrating! Also found that the direction in the manual were very confusing. That being said, I'm still glad I got them and might even get one more for the kitchen.

good product, nice minimal packaging
The phone works great. I'm excited that it uses standard rechargeable AAA batteries. Those will be much easier to maintain. I like being able to listen to the answering machine from the handset. The calls are very clear all over and outside the house.
As a plus, panasonic ships these in very compact packaging - well protected during shipment, but much less material to dispose of after opening than typical electronics.

Great Phone! Value for money
Great Phone. I bought it one year back. I am extremely happy with the performance. No wireless router interference, intercom works very well, great speakerphone, clip to hang it on your belt while using hands free feature, built in answering machine (which could be operated from another phone also), good phonebook which can be replicated from one phone to another etc etc. This phone's range is so good that we give to our kids when they are playing in neighbours house.
I would highly recommend this phone
This is a great phone. Some reviews complain about the volume, but when the volume is set correctly on the phone, it's fine. I think some people don't bother to read the manual. A back lit keypad would be o.k., but I don't dial in the dark much anyway. Great range unless you expect it to pick up on the back 40. I also like the AAA rechargeable batteries. When they need replaced, you don't have to worry about trying to find special ones that only fit this phone. Has caller ID, large phonebook, speaker phone that works great too. If you are looking for a great basic phone, this one is it.

Great phones but lack easy to use replay of messages. Will probably be OK after we learn sequence of steps; but the primary base should have a button for replay all recent messages without having to read manuals.

GREAT PHONE SYSTEM !
I recently purchased the Panasonic "Dect 6.0", Model # KX-TG1032S). It's superb ! It does so much more than the Uniden I had. The Uniden would static if I was on the computer. The Panasonic does not. The only complaint I have is that when you miss a call and the caller leaves a message it does not "beep" to tell you. You have to walk over to the base unit and see if a light is blinking. The purchase through Amazon was 5-star !

More problems than you want.
We bought this phone after doing much research- I mean look at all the stars it gets here on Amazon! So with great confidence, we bought the phone and plugged it up to charge. We have the 2 handset model with one base and one small charger. After having this phone a few weeks with no problems, we started getting a phone call and I would go to answer it and the screen would just black out and flicker. The handset would stop ringing, even though I could still hear the base and other phone ringing. The screen would finally came back on (maybe) and if it did, it said "No link to base". What? I am sitting 20 feet from the base! We don't have any weird electronics in the house or anything. Although we do have a wireless router but I read in past reviews that no one had problems with the phone and wireless routers so I don't think it is that.
Also, no matter how long the phone is off the base, the battery indicator always shows a full battery. My guess is that when the phone "flips out" when someone calls, it might mean it is low on battery? I am not sure because it doesn't do it every time but it does it at least once a day! I am very good about putting the phone back on the charger when I complete a call so I am still not sure what the problem is. It is so bothersome that we WILL be throwing this crap phone in the thrift store box and getting another one ASAP! We have had the phone for about 3 months and it is still the same problem. My husband and I can't take it anymore!
I've had this phone for a month and have had problems from day 1.
The phone disconnects without warning while I'm using it.
I always have to have the second handset with me which is really stupid. will be returning it to Amazon.

Lousy Manual and Terrible Menu System
I liked this phone and was encouraged by all the positive reviews. This prompted me to purchase this phone. Now that I had a chance to use it, I find things wrong with it that would have changed my mind and I would never had purchased this phone.
1) All incoming calls have the long distance prefix 1- and since most of my calls are local; I have to go through a menu system on each number and edit it to remove the 1- There is no way to turn this off nor is the phone smart enough to not place a one on local calls.
2) The menu system is awkward to use.
3) No real manual to use.

Works well, control a little awkward
The phone reception and the answering machine work great. The controls aren't super easy like some other phones. The biggest pain to me is that you have to push the button twice to get the caller id history to be displayed, which is annoying when I am in a hurry. Overall, the phone is great.
It's possible that we received an especially faulty item, but ours was fraught with problems. The biggest problem was a very short range from the base, with calls being dropped or at times the sound not working on on end of a call (though I'm not sure that's related to the range). The caller I.D. has problems not showing names, and occasionally the ringer on one of the units rings continuously, rather than ring/pause/ring/pause. Sending them back for something else.
