Broke after about a dozen uses
The microphone stopped working after about a dozen uses. Amazon allowed me to print out a pre-paid shipping label which got me a full refund within a few days. One star for Panasonic. Five stars for Amazon!

Good sound but a little too tight
I like this headset. It lets me talk and listen without the disadvantages of using the speakerphone option on my phone. My only complaint is that the headband is a bit tight. I suppose a hair dryer and a little exercise could help with this. No, I don't have a large head. Mine is size 7 so if it's tight on me it'll be tight on most everybody.
I am happy with this headset, this is my second one ordered and it works very well. However, I have to give it only 4 stars since my first one after one year, developed a short in the 2.5mm connector and it was unusable. I did not treat it roughly in any way. I thought I would give a new unit a second try so we will see.

Good for the money
The headphones fit pretty comfortably and the sound is also very good. There is static on the line from time to time, and some people have complained about not being able to hear me loudly. However, for the price, it works as well as anyone should expect. I would recommend this product as I use it pretty heavily for work.

Same Tune, Different Name
First off - let me start by saying that this item is certainly serviceable, practical and one of those things that you wonder (in a circumstance wherein you need the convenience of paws-free operation) how you ever lived without, before you had one.
That said, that was already the case when we had purchased the same exact item previously under several manufacturers' names (Uniden, Generic, etc).
The only difference, in this case, is that one pays more for the privelage of having the Panasonic brand slapped upon it.
We had no idea (judging solely by the photo and sparse description) that this was the *exact* same item.
I say that because, although this item is always very promising at first - it invariably develops a problem within the wiring (in particular the connection to the earpiece); causing intermittent sound and voice transmission (in short, a "short") - which, let's face it - is something of a major problem given the very nature and purpose of the product. This item is always used "gently" in our home... i.e. with care - so I believe that there should be some sort of stress-relief design employed at that point-of-connection to remedy this recurring adventure (as it seems to be an inherent weakness in the construction of the headset).
I'm giving this an "optimistic" 4 of 5 star rating - because we have only been using it for a matter of weeks. We're hoping that the Panasonic banner will make a difference somehow with this one. :)
I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product.
It only picks up your voice and not the background noise that may be occurring.
It works for both wireless landlines and cell phones.

Good for the price; shoddily made
Sounds good, reasonably comfortable if a bit tight, but it broke after 8 months. The design has a weak point that could easily have been designed better. Come on Panasonic!

Good, functional piece of gear
I was looking for a replacement for a headset that didn't produce enough sound or clarity, and always had people asking me to speak up. This headset solved the problem. No volume control on the wire is more than made up for by good volume, good quality sound reproduction, and good response to the telephone volume control. Comfortable to wear, easy to use, I'm a happy puppy.
This headset is really comfortable and its easy to hear the person on the other end. I highly recommend it for comfortable phone conversations.

Just what I wanted
I love using headsets when talking on the phone, but in the past I have been disappointed with the various headsets I have tried. I bought 2 of these (one for my office one for home) based on the reviews here, and for the first time I am using a headset that is just what I wanted. They are comfortable to use, loud enough, easy to slip on and off, and everyone seems to be able to hear me just fine.

Less than $15 works great
I've had trouble with other brands in the past. That is probably why when I bought my first KX-TCA60 headset I was skeptical at first. I have found this to be more durable than my other $300 dual ear headset. Yes the sound isn't exactly the same, but it is good enough for a long phone call to mother.
This is a great headset to give as a gift also to anyone you talk to on the phone. Shouldn't we all be more in the spirit of giving. The two people that I gave this headset to loved it, and me for giving it to them.
(Note: From reading other review you should position the mike once and leave it in place. I have not tested this frailty, but I have dropped my headset and had the cord pulled out of the phone with the headset still working faithfully afterward.)

You get what you pay for, and more !!!
I've owned two of these for over a year and use them with a set of Panasonic Cordless phones. Admittedly, I'm comparing these to three or four sets of handsets of comparable style and price. I have no experience with more expensive sets. That said, for the money, these are much better than the others. Comfort is about the same as other similar headsets, but one can hear and can be heard much better. Also, they've been much more durable than other inexpensive headsets I've owned which seem to disintegrate all too easily. Panasonic quality is obvious, even in this inexpensive headset.

Excellent value for the money
I bought this product originally because my hands hurt when I hold the phone. This product definitely works as advertised. It's comfortable and lightweight. The price was excellent and the only thing I might have done differently, was to buy a headset with volume control. But, you can still turn up the volume on your phone so it works out. For the money, this was an excellent buy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The inexpensive headset that could!
All headsets are not created equal. Finding one that works well with your equipment can be a challenge. They're either don't fit right or the person on the other end of the call can't hear you very well. And those complaints are with $30.00 plus headsets! Then there's the $10.00 wonder...the Panasonic KX-TCA60 Hands-free headset with Comfort fit headband. The only complaint I have is that the tension on the headband is a little snug if your head size is large. Otherwise, everyone says they can hear me load and clear, and despite the slightly tight tension on the headband, they are comfortable, plus there are none of those annoying controls for volume and mute to get in your way.

Until now I've always had great luck with Panasonic products. The microphone quit after just 5 months of light useage. The warranty expired after 90 days. My advice is to spend more money for a poduct that will last.

Excellent Headset
I work from home 1-2 days a week, on conference call virtually all day and need my hands free to work the laptop at the same time. These headphones are awesome! Perfect clarity, in-bound and outbound, using them with my Panasonic cordless. And for around $10, I doubt you could find anything better. Highly recommend.

Good inexpensive headset
This is a good inexpensive headset. The only drawback for me relates to the fit of the headset. The non-headphone side of the set positions itself over my ear which is not comfortable.
We have purchased this product in the past and have been very pleased, this must be a bad batch, we have had problems with static and the jacks do not seem to be working on our phones. We really like this headset, but would be hesistant to purchase again.
I wear headsets with each call - I like to be hands free! I have one for my home office and one for my living area. My office headset finally quit and I had to buy another. Unfortunately, I was not able to locate my original brand headset, so I bought this one.
This headset is the worst I have ever used! I have a small head where even small caps are too big and this headset was extremely tight and not adjustable to the head. My ear hurt in minutes. The worst part of this headset is the crackling noise! When the cord is moved, it crackles and makes a conversation inaudible. Even when trying to be extremely still, the headset crackles. The crackle is not on my phone as my one original headset still works beautifully.
I will not be using this again and am extremely disappointed. The only good news with this was it was not expensive. :(
I bought two of these sets of headphones to use with my Panasonic cordless phones and they work great. Both sets have had no problems, they are louder than another brand headset that I was using. The headband is a little snug at first but it loosens up with use. I am very pleased with the purchase and will buy them again when I need them.
They also work really well with my cell phone which was a pleasant surprise. Buy them with confidence and get a great product for a bargain price.

Panasonic KX-TCA60 Hands-Free Headset - Comments
The headset is fully functional, as stated. It is not a "hearing aid", but does really let you hear people better, when one is making or receiving important or long calls, because it allows anyone with impaired hearing - or concentration - to plug in to handsets to speak and hear hands-free. You can put the phone in your pocket or on the desk and continue to wash dishes or work on the keyboard. It only fits the 2.5 mm tiny phone plugs, which are 'standard' for cell phones too. If this headset came with an adapter for the computer size plug, you could use it for Skype, etc. Overall: Great Product. Those adapters can be bought someplace like Tiger Direct or Radio Shack.

Pretty good headset
I bought this headset to use for my job (I work from home) and it has some pros and cons. This headset work great with my Uniden cordless phone. I really like how loud it is, I never have a problem hearing what my customers are saying and they never have a problem with hearing me. I also like that you can use the headset on either ear, because after wearing it for a few hours it tends to make my ears sore. Not having a mute button and volume button is fine with me because my phone already has all of that. The only problem I have with the headset is that it picks up background noise (ex- dogs barking, TV/Radio playing). I ended up having to buy a noise-cancelling headset just for my job, but I'm still keeping this one to use as a backup.

Not a bad headset for the money
I purchased this headset to replace a Plantronics I had been using for 2 yrs. I've always used a Pantronics. I needed an adaptor cord on the plantronics to fit the 2.5 mm jack and the connector wore out. I purchased this headset based on the reviews. The one glaring thing I noticed is that when you speak, you can not hear yourself in the ear piece. It's like talking with an ear plug in one ear. You only hear yourself out of your free ear. It's distracting. I do not wear the ear piece as snugly over the ear which resolves this. Otherwise, sound quality is good. I have not heard anyone complain about my sound quality on the other end. Overall, for the price you can't go wrong. I don't know why you can't hear yourself in the ear piece. I'm going to continue to use this but when it comes time to replace it, I won't buy another one.

Not a total waste, but won't connect to my computer
I bought this intending to plug it into my computer. No, it doesn't fit those ports. Fortunately there is a proper jack on my desktop phone, and the product works with that. So, not a total waste.
I am very pleased with this product. It fits snuggly and is very clear. I would have given it five stars, but when I while writing this review I found information that I should have bought a different set for my 6.0 DECT phones. This one works fine now, but the package says that it is for analog, 99 Hz and 2.4GHz digital systems. This is something that you might want to learn more about before you buy.

This headset works great and is an excellent value
I've been using this headset for a month now and it's surpassed my expectations. I bought this together with the Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Titanium Digital Cordless Answering System - Dual Handset System (KX-TG9332T). The headset works really well; people on the other side tell me that they can hear me great. In fact, I used to use a headset at work that cost a lot more and people were always telling me they couldn't hear me--I had to make sure the microphone was right next to my mouth (practically touching it). With this headset, I've never had anyone complain they couldn't hear me, and the microphone is at least an inch or 2 from my mouth.
This is not my area of expertise, I am more a needlearts, books and movies person but I want to say, I adore this headset.
This is not the first one I ever bought but it is the first one that actually worked well.
This frees me to DO stuff when on hold, while suffering fools on the phone and making those boring, endless calls we all must make.
I no longer feel trapped, sitting there trying to type on my keyboard one handed ( caps is hard one handed).
So, from a non tech person with a deep appreciation of something useful, practical and inexpensive, this is THE one you want.

Excellent product. This is the 5th time I've purchased it. With daily use this Panasonic headset will last a year.

You get what you pay for....
I bought this because it was low cost and some other reviews said it has clear sound. I can hear with it just fine, but I've had to stop using it because people on the other end ALWAYS complain of an echo, whether I use this with a landline or a cell phone. Maybe it works better if you use it with a PC, but I am having to buy another headset as this one is unusable for my normal daily business calls.
The mic seems to be poor at picking up sound because people on the other end of the line can't hear me very well. The ear piece is uncomfortable.
