[+] 4.0 Good sound quality but very short life
I have gone through 2 headsets in less than1 year. While it lasts, this headset has great sound quality but it lasts no more than 4-5 months. Other features such as comfort, cost, design are average.

[+] 8.0 Panasonic Hands-free headset
We order the hands free set to give us some flexibility using our hand held phone. I selected Panasonic because I wanted to ensure it worked with the handset. I have purchased other headset that did not work as well as the system it was used for. I assume other headsets would work as well. The headset is flexible and confortable. Good design.

[+] 6.0 Not perfest
The volume of the earpiece is marginally low at full volume. Nobody has compalined about hearing me so I assume the microphone is better.

[+] 8.0 just works ok
This is easy to use, but not very adjustable. I've a big head, and wish the mic was a little closer to my mouth. However, I get no complaints when I wear it and while talking to others.

[+] 2.0 This headset is WORTHLESS!
I wanted to buy a headset to use with my Panasonic cordless phones, so I thought that a Panasonic headset would be the best choice. WRONG WRONG WRONG. This headset is worthless. The sound is muffled and very soft, and I have tried plugging it into 5 different headsets, with the same results. I have a Plantronics headset that works quite well in the same phones. If you buy this headset, it will be money down the drain.

[+] 6.0 Sound quality could use improvement
When I first got it everyone I spoke to said it sounded fine but that didn't last too long. Now too many people complain that I don't sound clear or they cannot hear me. I need to buy something else.

[+] 8.0 Decent headset

This is my second Panasonic headset which I use with my home-office phone. It's quite adjustable and fits well. The sound quality is good and it has sound and mute adjustments, which I use often. I wish at times I could turn the volume up as sometimes people at the other end aren't talking loud. And, it's a good price. Overall, I am quite pleased and it's probably the best headset I've had so far (many of the others were just to cheaply made).

[+] 8.0 Great for the cost.
This headset is quite a remarkable unit for the cost. I spend quite a long time on the phone throughout the day and this headset has proven to be quite useful. The audio is quite good. The speaker is only slightly quieter than the phone handset. The microphone is good as well. Most of the people I have asked indicated that I sound about the same with the headset on as off. It is really comfortable as well. I sometimes forget that I am wearing it after a few minutes. The mute button does need to be held to maintain the muting however and the cord is only a few feet long. With the corded phone I use during the day the short cord can be quite limiting but it is just about perfect to use with a cordless phone. I think this product is very much worth the cost.

[+] 8.0 Nice headset for the money
I needed a decent but not so expensive headset and came across this Panasonic.

The Likes: Has pretty good audio quality, people can't tell I'm using a headset. The speaker is good, I can hear clearly and loudness is ok... I've got my phone and headset both turned up all the way and its fine. Don't care that the Mute button has to be held in as my phone has a mute button that doesn't. It folds for easy storage.

The Dislikes: Yes, its a cheap headset, but for the money it's good. I wish the ear piece part would swivel but its fixed. Wish the mic boom could swivel in/out from face vs just up/down. It fits my head pretty well, but wish it were more adjustable, especially for width. Don't let the kids play with it or it may likely get broken pretty easy. Just use it normally and it should last for a while. Wish it had a bit more volume for the occasional call that sounds quieter.

I use this headset with a Panasonic business desktop phone, so I'm not walking around the office/house with a cordless phone where the wires are stressed a lot. Other people seem to have said theirs have broken quickly, but I think they must not use it that carefully or are more mobile with it causing more stress on the wires. So far so good for me.

Overall: Again, good buy for the money IMHO.

[+] 2.0 Worked for Awhile
After using this for a few weeks, it broke. I could hear Ok but the person I was talking too said my voice quality was poor and they had difficulty hearing me. At that time I was over my 30 days for Amazon return, and didn't return it to Panasonic. I loose. Don't buy it. Find something else.

[+] 8.0 Very good hands-free headset
Very good hands-free headset. Construction seems to be very good, although I'm concerned about the fold design and how long that might last until it breaks - moving parts will eventually break. Sound quality is very good and it is comfortable to wear. It has a mute button, but unlike other headsets, this button you must press down and hold if you want the mute feature.

[+] 4.0 Great, for about a year...
I was extremely pleased with this headset when I received it for Christmas of '08. I used it with my Panasonic KX-TGA820B cordless phone. I was unable to differentiate from non-headset clarity when my husband called me while using it. The sound quality and volume on the receiving end were similarly adequate. I thought I was at the end of what felt like an exhausting search for a competent headset.

In short, I was thrilled...right up to the point where they randomly stopped working 1 year and 6 days after purchase.

I assume it was loose wiring, as I got it to intermittently work by jiggling the cord.

In my opinion, 1 year is not an adequate length of time for any purchase to last, regardless of price. I am very disappointed.

[+] 8.0 Good quality, comfortable headset
I got this headset several months ago because I needed one to use at work on webinars that I was conducting. This means that I am showing things online and typing up responses. I have not been disappointed at all with this headset. It is very comfortable and people can hear me much better than my previous headset. This one can be used with my cellphone (Verizon Blackberry international edition) and with my home phone (Panasonic land phone). This is really, really convenient, as my other headset did not work with my cellphone.

My only quibble is that the mute function does not indicate if you are on mute or off mute. It is a guessing game, so I can't risk that and use the mute function on either of my phones, for safety.

The headset is a little bulky and is not able to fold up very compactly. However, I've become so dependent on it, that I often take it everywhere I go. Talking hands free w/o sounding like you are in a tin can or in a galaxy far, far away is wonderful. I recommend this headset. I'm going to try Headset Buddy adapters so that maybe I can use this same headset for my PC. That would be great.

[+] 8.0 headset
Using it now for incoming business calls. Many good features but I am still getting callers saying "I CAN'T HEAR YOU" and I am sick to death of that phrase. The connect has a problem with the adaptor plug to get it to connect to my phone. Can't lean far from phone or get horrible screeching loud sounds that promise to hurt you and your cust's ears.

[+] 8.0 Good quality headphones
I bought these as they were described as the official headphones for my panasonic phone system. They work fine. Not the best quality but get the job done. The mute switch is press and hold style which I think should toggle on and off.

[+] 4.0 Review of Panasonic phone headset
The worst missing feature is that when the headset is plugged into the phone, you cannot use the phone at all unless you use the headset. I have the phone hanging on the wall and it is a real pain to disconnect and reconnect the heaset from the phone. The mute button is also horrible because it is only muted as long as you are squeezing the button. The sound is not loud enough, even though I have it set on the highest volume. And the cord is much too short and I cannot move away from the phone at all. I would have bought a cordless but there was none available. And when I called Customer Service they were totally not knowledgeable nor helpful.

Great clarity in hearing and according to the person on the other end, they say they can hear me speaking very clearly. There is no distortion in the ear piece and it is comfortable to wear.

[+] 6.0 Panasonic KX-TCA92
I am hard of hearing, especially on the phone. Thought the KX-TCA92 would maybe
increase the quality of the sound. It didn't help one bit, in fact, the sound direct from the phone was better.I think though the KX-TCA92 may be good for whatever it
was made for.

Panasonic should redesign the mute switch to allow the user to hit the button and remain on mute without holding down the button. Sound very low.

[+] 10.0 Headset
I like the way it feels. Its not to tight on my head and it does not fall off like my old headset. My boyfriend has one and has had it for many years and so far no problems. So I am sure I will not have problems either. I received it very quickly and the price was right.

[+] 10.0 Good Quality Headset, At a Good Price!
I've been working out of a home office for almost 15 years now, and I do a LOT of phone & computer work. About 10 years ago I started looking into hands-free headsets for my phone because I found I was always using my computer (keyboard, mouse, or both) and wanted to free up my hands. Problem was ... each headset I tried had one of two problems; either it was of poor construction quality, and/or it had poor mic and earphone quality or volume. I found myself either returning them, or replacing them at least once a year.

But about 4 years ago I came across some good reviews here on Amazon for the Panasonic KX-TCA92, and decided to give that a try. I have always been partial to Panasonic products (I own a plasma TV, microwave oven, and their multi-line phone system). And again with this headset product ... I was not disappointed.

The headset is comfortable and easy to adjust (both size-wise and for the mic). It also comes with a volume control and mute button (both handy). But the real benefit to me is the ear piece volume is higher than most any other headset I have tried (regardless of price). For me, being older and having some hearing loss, this was very important.

The headset is also well-made and very durable for what it is. Obviously headsets like these are light weight in nature and not built like larger headphones, etc. But this Panasonic model stood up to constant 7 x 365 use for about three years, so I decided to buy another one when the first one finally gave out. I recommend this item highly.

[+] 10.0 Finally I can be heard
I tried several other headsets before finally ordering this one to use with my Uniden cordless phones. The other headsets had worked great plugged into a cell phone, but for some reason I couldn't be heard on the cordless home phone using the same headset. Other headsets tried unsuccessfully to hang on my ear. This one isn't really going to fit in your pocket, but it's great for home use. People can hear me perfectly, I can hear them, and it does fold up well enough for the kitchen junk drawer. One person did ask if I was on a cell phone, but I have asked other people and no one else can hear the difference between this and using the handset directly.

It's a headset, it works, it folds, it has a mute button. Works well with Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Silver Digital Cordless Answering System - 3 Handset System (KX-TG9343S). We'll see how sturdy it is over time.

This is the third Panasonic headset I have bought. I am very pleased. The only issue is that my cat chews the wire in two when I am talking, and I have had to replace them. It is a good, reliable product.

[+] 8.0 I'm buying another one!
I'm buying another one of these headsets today! The reason is because my last one broke, but only after I ran the vacuum over it accidentally! I work from home and I used this particular headset on my cordless phone all day almost every day. I really liked it and I'm replacing it with the same model. I had another brand before this that broke very quickly. This particular headset worked consistently for me until I destroyed it. My only complaint is the mute button. I never felt comfortable that it was really muting and you have to hold it down the whole time you need to mute. On the other hand, you can't accidentally leave it on mute either. I find this set to be a good buy!

[+] 2.0 Comfortable, but breaks very easy!
The Panasonic KX-TCA92 headset is comfortable and while working sound good and has convenient functions such as mute button and volume control. I had 4 of these in 4 years, but each one broke (wire problem in plug wire or ear peace) within approx. 1 year. The last one now broke within 6 months and that is just to much for me now. I give up on it now and have to shop for a more lasting design.

[+] 10.0 Good purchase
This is a replacement for the first one that I purchased and wore out. It is very comfortable; has good sound quality and my voice quality is good. I like having my hands free while talking on the telephone, it allows me to type and talk or to walk about with the my wireless handset in my hand while doing chores.

[+] 2.0 Selection error
Unfortunately by the time the search results appeared my initial request was disregarded/ lost. I therefore received a headset that is suitable for a moblie phone, which I do not need. I had requested a head set that would be compatible with my Netbook. Due to my geographical location I could not return it and as a result had to purchase the correct one.

[+] 6.0 Product is OK
The mute button is the problem; Since you have to hold it all the time.
Not sure why they did not design it as on/off switch.

Quality is OK. But I do hear some disturbance once in a while, when I connect it to my Panasonic head set.

[+] 2.0 Does not filter background noise
Contrary to the representations made to sell me this headphone set, it does not filter out background noise but, in fact, amplifies it and plays it through the headphone to an annoying and distracting level. Also, the general volume and quality of sound coming throught the headphone was inferior to other headsets I've had. The sound was soft (I had to turn the volume clear up) and the sound was muffled and harder to understand. I sent it back for a refund.

[+] 6.0 Good at first - but you'll need to buy a bunch
Another more techie reviewer pointed out the REASON for a problem i have with this headset -- moving the mouthpiece seems to cause a wire to break. Result: harder to hear the person you're talking to. I DEPEND on my headsets (writer at phone and computer, often interviewing as i type.) This set was better than many I tried and researched ... except that it "goes bad" after a while. (6+ months.) I'm stocking up on SEVERAL now, and when one goes bad eventually, I toss and replace it. Hate having to do that with a product but it DOES work well ... while it works.

[+] 10.0 Nice headset.
Have used this headset for about two months now. It's comfortable for long times on the phone -- I've had it on continuously for up to 6 hours and not had any soreness or discomfort afterwards from wearing it for so long. I can hear clearly and everyone I've talked to has not had any difficulty hearing me even as I've moved about my high rise apartment carrying the phone. In fact my friends could not tell any difference in my voice from my using a handset. You can adjust volume with a dial on the cord so be sure to check to make sure it is on full volume in addition to whatever adjustments you make directly on the phone. I have to say it is not very loud but normal and I can hear clearly but I have it on the cord turned to full volume so it is possible someone who is hearing impaired may find it is not loud enough. Tip: if you have long hair works best if you push the hair over your left ear behind your ear before putting on the headset, otherwise the ear piece will slide out of place and you won't be able to hear your caller as well. I have to confess this is my first headset so I have nothing to compare it to but I'm extremely pleased with it and would not hesitate to recommend it.

[+] 10.0 Quality at a great price. 2 years and going strong.
I have two of these headphones and use them on a daily basis over the last two years. There are days when I have literally used them for 10 hours without taking them off. I find them to be comfortable and have never heard complaints of sound quality. I think equally impressive is the number of times I have had the cord yanked from the phone for variety of reasons...each time thinking a wire would be pulled loose...and yet they are still going strong. Just ordered another set for my brother. Great product. Strongly recommend.

[+] 6.0 Good sound quality but bad mute button
This headset provides good sound quality, both receiving and transmitting. The problem with the mute button is that it must be pressed continuously, and if your thumb fatigues, you get a crackling sound on the line. Do not purchase this unit if you need to have the microphone on mute for extended periods (such as when recording). Get a unit which has a slide switch or toggle mute button.

[+] 8.0 Great Quality for the Price
I have been using this set with my cell phone in the car and so far it has worked really well. The sound quality has been excellent and the folding feature is a nice bonus to tuck it away. I purchased this set because the pins on my previous two $60 sets kept wearing out since I constantly take the headset off when leaving the car.

The only gripe I have is that the microphone boom does not sit comfortably in the down position around your neck when you are not using it so you have to swing it up, where it is very comfortable. When you get a call it's one more step to do while driving, but it only takes a couple of calls to get used to and it's pretty quick. I would not let it stop me from buying another one. It's a very good set and I would definitely buy another one at this price.
