I bought this mount when I bought a new tv for the bedroom. The old one was a monitor on a stand that took up floor space and now the new one takes up zero thanks to the mount. Articulating mount allows us to put the tv against the side wall of our room when its not in use and pulled out to face us directly in the bed. Awesome buy!

I used this to mount a 26' tv in my kitchen. I was a little uneasy with only two screws holding it up but they do the job. Use a stud finder to find the the studs. Installation only took about a half hour tops! Comparable mounts at other electronic stores sell for 3 times as much. This mount is so worth the money. Enjoy!

This wall mount was pretty easy to install independently and the instructions were accurate. I installed it directly onto a wooden stud and it was very easy (drilled a pilot hole). It can be installed in about 30 minutes to an hour. The construction of the wall mount is sound and our TV is a 36 inch and it does not sag. The mount hold the TV exactly as we set it up

This mount is awesome. Went up just as described and it was easy. Could of done it all by myself but couldn't hold tv up in air to mount it. If your looking for a awesome tv mount for your 32 inch tv, this is what you want. Everyone who has seen it wants one too.

I have no doubts about this arm. It is heavy duty and articulates easily. I mounted it to the wall through a stud. It is going nowhere! The ability to adjust the TV left, right, close to the wall, away from the wall, and even tilting up and down make this a must.

Finally, you don't realize how much of a convenience it is to be able to pull the TV out from the wall to adjust cabling and hookups until you need to do it the first time. This arm makes it so easy. Awesome product.

This literally couldn't be any easier to install and does a really nice job. Great value for the price.

A word to the wise - try to discover the VESA specs for your TV before
ordering this for a 40 inch LCD. It doesn't come close to fitting our
newly ordered 40 inch Toshiba TV.

We already own this product for a much smaller LG TV and the product
is great - easily installed, tiltable, and sturdy.

great value for the price...sturdy metal frame...easy to tilt television up and down as well as side to side. Much more economical than what you would pay in a retail store.

Attached this product to a wall in our spare bedroom. Works great. Now our visiting relatives will have something to watch at night.

I purchased this mount as the one amazon advertised for the tv. It did not fit the tv and needed an adapter that no business in my area carried. I had to send it back and lost money doing it. I was very disappointed in this particular transaction.

PROS: Clearly the best deal for 22" to 40" left-right-tilting wall mounts. It's very strong and the joints are tight fitting to a fault. All attachment hardware is included for stud and cement/cinder block mounting. My 32" does not bounce around or wobble when tapped. The hinges are very well made and the overall fit and finish is superb despite that no one will normally be able to see any part of the mount at all. CONS: This is a bit nitpicking, but the hinges are *very* stiff. I had to loosen the joints with a hex-key/Allen wrench. (not supplied) Adjusting the LCD's position is definitely a two-handed operation. Perhaps that's just the trade-off for having tight fitting joints. If you want to use the supplied thumbscrew for locking down the tilt-down adjustment (I did) then you best get your own washer for the thumbscrew since it's not supplied, strangely enough. (3/16" washer ?) All the types of supplied hardware are clearly listed at the front of the manual, yet all of them are not shown being used anywhere in the various configurations ! The two large wall mounting screws are exactly the right size, but the suggested drill hole size for wood stud attachment is clearly too small. (a typo ?) I needed to enlarge the stud holes to 3/16ths or so in order not to break my wrist tightening the screws in 50 year old 2X4's. Perhaps it would be better to substitute small hex-head lag screws (3/16" ?) with washers just to be able to use a ratchet wrench instead of a large Phillips screwdriver. After all, the mount is not normally seen. OTHER THOUGHTS: I'm very pleased with the mount. It's a great buy. Take some time to figure out what all the different sized bolts are for (E.g., 3 sets of lengths of metric bolts for attaching the mount plate to the back of the LCD.) All other hardware is SAE/American including the hex-key bolts in the 2 hinges. Finally, Once the LCD is fitted onto the rest of the mount, I thought it best to tighten the tilt-bracket attachment screws so that they were just barely loose so that the thumb screw substituted for the 4th screw will be the only screw that locks the tilt hinge into place. That works fine.

I searched long and hard for the perfect articulating wall mount for my new Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV. I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a wall mount, and I knew that most of the retail outlets were going to take me for $200+ for an articulating wall mount. After reading tons of reviews, I settled on the Peerless PA740. You can't beat this mount for the price. It is sturdy (when properly mounted, of course), and it looks great. It was a perfect fit for the Sony's VESA 200x200 screw pattern, and it looks like it could hold my weight, in addition to that of the TV. I mounted mine in a corner location so that I could swing the TV out to get to the back for cabling and such. All in all, a great buy for the price.

My second unit, I'd buy another. Clear installation instructions, necessary installation hardware, nice look, solid construction, good value.

Installation took many hours since the screws that were included when paired with the drill bit that the instructions suggested just were not the answer. A trip to a hardware store and some thinking out of the box eventually did the trick and we love the product now that it is installed.

This is a very well designed and very well built product, and at this price it's a real bargain. I mounted my Toshiba 32" (200x200) in about 20 minutes with absolutely no problems. The instructions were easy to follow and it came with loads of extra mounting hardware.

The unit feels very solid and has a very nice gloss black powder coat finish. There is no flex or sag when fully extended, and it extends out so far that I can almost turn my set 90 degrees to the wall. The mount is really heavy-duty and well constructed. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it was built in the USA! It's good to see that we can still make quality products at a very competitive price.

This was just as expected and very well built. Keep in mind if your going to side mount this to a wall you can go no larger then a 26" tv. The distance is limited. If you go straight out from the wall your in great shape.

The price cant be beat on this mount. It looks very nice and was not hard to install. Just make sure you get it level. The mounting screws were fine for me and I had no problem with them stripping. As long as you get this mounted into the center of the stud you could probably hang a person on it without it breaking. It seams to be very strong. I would highly recommend if you are looking at this type of mount. Do keep in mind that when its pushed flat against the wall the mount is off center. This worked great for me since the only stud between the two door frames where I was mounting was not in the center of the wall. Very happy with my purchase and Amazons great prices.

I hung a 32 inch Samsung with this Wall Mount and it works great. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. The product itself looks great and is well constructed. I highly recommend this product.

For this price, the product cannot be beat. I was concered using only two screws on a single stud to mount my TV, but it seems very strong.

It took me about an hour to read through the instructions and install the TV by myself. Considering that this is the first time I have done a project like this, thought that it was great.

The TV does stick out from the wall a bit, but with the flexibility of being able to move it in all directions with the low price, more than compensates.

I love this wall mount's strength and gloss black finish. Both are over done--a mere TV would never bend this mount, and I can't imagine a nick exposing bare metal. Installation was easy, thanks to excellent instructions and every part and screw you might possibly need. Stores that sell TVs sell crummier mounts for a lot more money, because they can, I guess. One reminder and two small quibbles: First, realize that the mounting bracket has to be perfectly plumb on the wall, or the TV won't be level. There is no adjustment. That's the reminder. Q1: The screws that mount to the wall are visible. A decorative cover plate would be nice. Q2: The instructions don't help with the offset geometry--the center of the TV is not where the mounting plate goes. I installed it on rough slumpstone, and it's not perfectly level. That's my fault, but a horizontal slot for the top screw would have helped. The mount itself is flawless.

Very pleased with this mount. It is sturdy, mounts easily, and allows for a very wide range of movement for your TV.

This is the highest quality wall mount I have ever seen. It is made in the USA which for me is something I always try and buy. What is really nice about this mount is the quality of the finish. I has a smooth glossy appearance. Unlike other mounts I have seen this mount is nice enough to show off. The mount itself is made with high quality steel and high quality screws/bolts/knobs and so forth. I will buy from them again.

We are extremely pleased with all aspects of this TV wall mount. If there is a section that I didn't rate, it just didn't apply. Installation was easy. It feels solid with the tv on it and the movement of it is smooth and easy to adjust.

I ordered this for a 26" TV I was mounting on the wall in a bedroom. My husband put it up but he did it by himself (I wasn't even home) and had no complaints or injuries so it must not have been too tough to do. [...smile...] It seems to work fine and we're happy with it.

I was surprised at the quality of this stand. It is very heavy and solid. Build quality feels very sturdy. I have a 32" on it, and I have no fear about product failure. Adjustment of the mount is very easy. An excellent value for the price.

I had no trouble installing it.Once I found the stud the two screws was suffiient to hold on to my 32 inch lg flatscreen tv.The rich black color match really well with my tv. In a few words this is the best wall mount that I can think of for the money, it is very easy to install, strong, durable and well made.

I have been using this mount for about a month and it works great. The flexibility of the mount nice. It will set flush against the wall or extend out about 15 inches. It also tilts and rotates. I would buy again.

this product is suppose to fit a 40 in lcd tv. It actually does fit if you make major modifications to the mount so it will fit a 40". when I bought the mount I was expecting to be able to modify it for the larger tv but I had to go out and buy parts and build a mount that would attach to the tv and then to the mount itself. Before I tried this though I called amazon and asked for an adapter for the mount and was told there was none. They said I could return the mount at my expense and there would be a restocking fee even though the mount would not work and they didn't sell a adapter for the mount to the tv. The kit didn't even include the right bolts to attach the mount to the tv. I am so glad that I use to be a mechanic and could figure out how to make the mount work. Make sure that this mount fits your tv before you buy it or you will be spending alot of extra money or returning the mount and wasting a lot of money.

Total piece of cake to install as long as you have a stud-finder. Looks great and it works. What more could you want?

I ordered this Peerless mount through amazon. It was $56.00 and free shipping, but I opted for faster shipping. I still didn't get it any faster, it took like a week in a half. Kind of made me mad, as i've gotten the free shipping stuff quicker. Anyway, back to the mount: PERFECT in every way. This was easy to install. It came with a couple different adapter plates for different tv's. Why tv manufactures are using different vesa mount pattern / thread dimensions is beyond me.. There should be one standard for mounting tv's, but Peerless had me covered. Everything I needed was in the box. Just lined up the mount with wall stud(i used a straight level to get mount true and then marked the two holes), installed the 2 supplied wall lag screws, mounted the other part to tv, set tv on mount. The tv part slides right into the wall part, and then secures together with a small set screw. Be careful on selecting the correct screw bolts that go into back of tv. They provide lots of sizes/diameters of bolts in box(another nice feature by Peerless). But make sure you read the directions on which ones to use. This is a nice design. It has a heavy duty arm that pivots around and the tv can tilt up /down as well. Just make sure, before you install the wall mount, that you measure how much room you will need, if you're planning a corner mount. You can swivel and adjust quite a bit, but find the best location to start with so it looks nice when your done. I wanted mine up in a corner in my office, so I had to make sure I used the best wall stud for the right look. Peerless makes a great tv mount and I WILL be getting more of these in the future. You can't beat them for the price. My tv was a Sylvania 32 inch LCD, only weighing 23 lbs, but I still wanted a good quality mount. Make sure your mount gets anchored solid into the wall stud, for a good secure mount. Look no further for other tv mounts, you found it right here... Thanks Peerless for a great product...

I purchased this wall mount a month ago and it works great. I have a Sony Bravia 32" XBR9 LCD. All the screws, plates, etc that I needed to hang the TV were included with the package. I've had no problems with it.

Great price. great product. However it didn't fit my tv. Called the company before returning and it turned out for $100.00 I could get the conversion pack so it does fit my tv. The conversion pack was dbl what I paid for the product. There for I spent more money then I would have buying a different product

Bought this unit for an older JVC flatpanel. When I got it I realized the mounting holes did not line up with the tv's screw holes. Apparently the set was manufactured before a "standard" was used. Anyway, if I wanted to get the extra mounting plate to fix the problem, it was almost as expensive as the mount! Out came the hand drill and I punched holes in the included mounting plate. Works great!

This is a great easy to install and strong tv mount. I own 2 of them, excellent value compared to others that I have seen.

I installed the mount in a fairly small bedroom. The bed is right in front of it, and there's a couch to the left. Sometimes I sit on the couch to watch TV, so the ability to pull it out and swivel it towards the couch is great.

I mounted a 32" Dynex lcd TV on it with no problem. I was a bit skeptical at first since the mount only had two bolts holding it on the wall, but so far it's been durable. Just as a precaution, I don't leave it pulled out when I'm not watching TV; I push it back to the wall so it doesn't strain the swing arm too much.

The only con I can think of is that the wires sometimes get caught between the mount swing arm and the tv. But I just reach back and pull it to the side. The mount has two hooks on the arm where you can attach zip-ties to manage your cables better.

Besides from that (and a little squeaking that I fixed with WD-40) this mount performs better than I had expected. Definitely worth the price

This is an impressive mount. The quality is great. It is extremely sturdy. It comes with all the hardware you'll need. I HIGHLY recommed it.

read some reviews and everyone seemed happy with this TV mount. The price seemed right and at the time i thought it was a deal. When it was delivered it would not fit my TV the adapter that was needed cost more than the mount. I had a deadline to get the TV installed and didn't have the time to deal with this, so I ordered the adapter. Once installed, it is a solid system and I am happy with it. I just wish i knew going into this I'd have to buy an adapter to use it.

Easy to install. I mounted a 32 inch TV that weights about 20lbs. Very sturdy. Specs say that it can hold 60 lbs. It probably can. This is a solid piece of metal. Comes will all of the hardware and extra screws for variable depth mountings.

Works exactly as it is supposed to. No problems with it. Would buy another one if I had the need.

I was a little worried this wouldn't work with my 32" VIZIO (there is some argument online about the mounting holes--they are 200x200), but it works great. It even came with the correct bolts to attach it. My bedroom has a corner that sticks out, and I was able to mount this right on one edge of the corner so it can swing around almost 270 degrees. It took less than an hour to install, seems quite solid, and looks great. It even includes the zip-ties needed to attach and hold all the cables together. My first mount and I'm quite pleased.

Overall this is a great inexpensive TV mount. I would recommend buying your own lag screws for going into the studs. I even predrilled the holes, but I still stripped out the cheap screws that were provided. I ended up pulling out the half set screws and using lag bolts with a more solid hex head.

I thought this would be good for the money but instead it was GREAT...... Strong, sleek and small yet very sturdy and strong. Easy to install and hand, did it all by myself...... The TV hangs perfectly just make sure you use a level to get the screws (2) in a straight line...... To have a HiDef TV off the floor and able to move in two directions and up and down so you can view it from just about any angle and any position is something else.......

The mount is fairly easy to install and fit great with my Samsung 32"... however the two screws that they give you could be a lot better quality. I predrilled the holes in the studs and one of them still stripped needless to say if I ever have to move it I will have to go buy more screws. It is also a bit tricky to put your TV on it once it is mounted to the wall but with help it is really easy. Overall a great product for the price.

My husband is pretty handy but even I could probably have installed this bracket on a stud and put the new TV on it. I like the fact that it recesses right against the wall to the right or to the left. It can tilt the screen in any direction. Perfect!
