Peerless ST650P Tilt Wall Mount for 32" to 50" Displays (Black)

Bought this mount for an older 37" LCD, that was getting moved to the bedroom. Its much heavier than the current LCD's out there its size, so my main concern was having a mount sturdy enough for the weight. Once mounted to the wall-studs I'm pretty certain this mount would hold 200lbs or better if it had to. Very sturdy construction, solid steel all around. Came with an excellent assortment of adapters, I am certain there isn't a TV out there that this bracket would no fit. The only problem is the hook mechanism when you actually set the TV in, the top part is a perfect snug fit, the bottom however just wouldn't line up quite flush. There are set screws include to snug it up, but I would have like it to fit as tight at the bottom as it did at the top. Only issue keeping me from giving 5-stars.

for what i paid for this (about $80) i am completely happy with this purchase. it was easy to install once i found a good location on the wall to screw in the bracket. it is very solid so i don't ever worry about it coming off or breaking in anyway. now my tv looks great on the wall and all i have to work on is hiding wires. all in due time.

Upon receiving the Peerless ST650P HD Television bracket, not only was I impressed with the fast service, but with the quality of the product. The price was also very fair and the ease of installation was very easy.

This bracket looked good and I would highly recommend this product over all the others that I looked into. We mounted this bracket on the wall of the School's Media Center with a 52 inch Sony HD TV. 5 stars is my rating.

Product works very well. It was easy to install once I figured everything out. My only suggestion to those considering this product is to go on-line to and make sure it is compatible because I assumed it was, but was not 100% until I got it. Just because it is universal doesn't mean it will fit everything

I bought this mount with a little trepidation. I have an older Gateway Plasma that weighs about 700 lbs! OK, so maybe not, but it's very heavy. The mount came with enough hardware to build a car. Not to sure why there was so many extra screws, but it should cover ANY make and model. I followed the instructions, which were simple enough and bolted the mount to the wall. The tilt should be adjusted first. It doesn't tilt as simply as it's made to seem. I then bolted to second section to the Plasma and lifted it onto the wall portion. One thing to not is that if the television is tilted all the way down the screws that lock down the mount are all but impossible to get to. It sits flush and looks great. I am very impressed with this product.

This is a great product, was very easy to install and the hardware was definitely substantial, assuring since the television is so expensive. I was nervous about hanging my tv on the wall but once I secured the mount into studs, I knew it was secure. Placement of the TV onto the mount is very easy and the tilting feature is nice as well. The only thing was the instructions on placing the mount on the wall were a little off with my TV so it ended up too high on the wall, but it was easily moved lower and in the perfect spot. Highly recommended.

The install for the Peerless ST650P went well. The website given in the instructions for determining the correct screws for your specific flatscreen was incorrect. I also was concerned about the tilt mechanism not working before I raised the TV up. Again, the helpline was great and I was told the mechanism required the weight of the tv before it works. Bingo! Once up, the mount tilted as detailed.
I was lucky enough that the mount was able to be centered where I wanted it. Yes, you can slide the attachment horizontally, but if you have a 32in like I did, the support bracket would probably be exposed if you had to move it to far.

This is a great product that came in just 2 days of my order! Comes with easy instruction right out of hte box.

Used this wall mount with a Samsung LN46a550 model. I did notice when I received the box it looked like it was open before, didnt pay to much attention, till I got to the part where it called for a long screw driver/tool it came with to lock in the panel into place. No big deal since I had my own.
I selected this mount becuase I knew I was going to have multi connections and didnt feel like making it harder to mount my TV with a flush wall mount. I was able to connect a coxal, 2 component, and 1 HDMI cable with no problems.
My sister needs to mount her Sammy next, I would deff go with Peerless again!

I highly recommend this product. It was very easy to install, and bolted to my 42" Panasonic Viera plasma with the included hardware. There is a bunch of different hardware and washer/spacers for a lot of different TV's. They have a web site that you can check. Spend the money on a good stud finder so you can hit the middle of the stud with the mounting bolts. The tilt is a nice feature for the bedroom.

This wall mount is excellent! It exceeded my expectations without adding a great deal of weight in the process.

I am a novice installer and this went up without a hitch. (I mounted 2 LCD's -32"LCD and 36" LCD in under 2 hours all by my lonesome.)

Received ample hardware to mount a variety of lcd/plasma tvs; instructions were clear and concise (The only MINOR issue I had was that the instruction manual mentions an allen wrench being included hardware but was not. After reading some other user reviews, I erroneously thought I needed it for tilt adjustment. However, after contacting peerless, they informed me that this particular model doesn't come with one and it isn't required for install or tilt adjustment (so don't panic! :-P)

First I would like to comment on amazon.com. I ordered this item with free "super saver" shipping and the box was on my doorstep within 18 hours. Great service.

Let me also say that I ordered this item from amazon in April of 2009 and received EXACTLY what was pictured. After reading others commenting on receiving something other than what was pictured I was a little nervous while placing the order. The wall mount itself is excellent quality, extremely strong and durable. I agree with others that say to be sure to have a good stud finder and make the measurements before placing the order for this product. I mounted my Samsung 40" LN40B750 TV in my closet with this mount after removing the closet doors. I tilted the screen down 5 degrees and can easily watch a perfect picture from my bed.

A note on the tilting. I read another review that said this mount could only be tilted down 5 degrees and tilted up 15 degrees. This is not correct. If this mount is installed correctly one should be able to tilt the TV down up to 15 degrees.

The "one touch tilting" is definitely misleading. Tilting requires loosening two machine screws with a screw driver and hand loosening the "one touch tilt" screws.

Another note: When I received this item I tested the screw sizes in my television and purchased the same screws in stainless steel as another review suggested.

Overall, This mount is well worth the money. It took under a half hour to install. If any product fails it will be the television, not the mount. once this thing is on the wall, it wont rip off. Follow the instructions carefully and everything will be fine.

I used this wall mount for my 42" LG Tv and it worked great. Very easy to install...took about half an hour. I would have another person there to help you mount the TV though because it did get a little awkward trying to put the TV up by myself. Overall a very good product at a very good price.

This is a good wall mount that leaves very little space between the wall and tv. The tilting feature is cool but I don't really see myself using the tilt function too much. Pricing is fair.

The Peerless ST650P Tilting Wall Mount was easy to install and perfect for mounting my new 42 in Panasonic Plasma TV. I am very pleased with it.

Mount installed easily and works perfectly. The only problem that I had was getting the tilt feature to work (secret - you have to tilt the mount after you install the tv onto it). Peerless customer service was nice enough to tell me that without making me feel stupid. Highly recommended.

Would recommend this product to anyone hanging a flat screen.
Easy to install, no problem with the hardware supplied.

I ordered the mount to place my tv above the fireplace. The outer studs were too far apart to use so I had to use the center stud. No problem! Except, in contradiction to the picture shown for the product, the wall plate had no holes for center stud mounting! Again, no problem... I just drilled my own 1/4" holes to hit the center stud. I also reinforced the holding capability of the mount by anchoring the four outer mounting slots to drywall using, of course, drywall anchors. Each anchor holds 75 lbs so I'm not worried at all about the tv falling. Nice unit and looks great on the wall!

Biggest Complaint: The "ONE TOUCH" tilting feature is a joke! There is a second option for tilting the unit called Incre-Lock which, basically, locks the tilt angle using a small screw on each side. This is what I used being that I have no need to adjust tilting angles from time to time, if ever.

Small Complaint: No center mounting holes (unless my luck is such that I got the only anomaly to make it out the production facility).

I used this to hang a 42" plasma. Installation was simple. The bracket is also light weight.

I paid extra to get it delivered asap and it came one day later than I expected but no harm.

I second guessed myself numerous times during the install, if I didn't, it would have been up in less than an hour.

It works as advertised and I saved over what I would have paid at a big box electronics store.

When I received this and looked it over I was convinced it wouldn't tilt. To the point I called Peerless to get advise.

I was told that everything was fine and in fact it was.

It installed easily and works great.

perfect for my 42" plasma tv. comes with all the bolts that you will need to mount to tv and wall. its not the best on the market, but it is a very good one and you can't beat the price.

I first saw these when installing 14 flat panel displays on my job at a prison. it was very sturdily built and securely held the 42 inch display. So when I purchased a panel tv for home I searched the internet until I found it. So far I haven't used it as my wife wants to be sure of where she wants it before screwing it to the wall. I have looked at other brands and didn't find them to be of the same construction and when you hang 1000 dollars or more on the wall you want to be sure it stays there. Really simple installation and plenty of hardware no running to home depot for screws or anchors.

Very easy to wall mount. Huge variety of mounting bolts. Very secure. The only thing I would change is that you must take the TV down to change the custom tilting angle of the brackets....would be nice to change the angle while the TV is hanging on the wall.

Great wall mount. Not much of "tilting" though but holds the TV up, that's all that matters. :)

I purchased a Samsung LN46A650 with this wall mount. I mounted the wall mount and the tv by myself. The mount went up simply and effortlessly. Outside of a qick read through, there isnt much need for the instructions. A few tools and common sense had the mount up in about 30 minutes (not counting using touch up paint to hide a couple scatches on the wall from my wife).

It is great to have, however the distance between our door and window and the location of the studs would not allow us to use it. A little difficult to install. Check your measurements.

This TV mount was easy to install and adjust but difficult if you have to add or raplace a cable. Too tight to the wall. Good price & quality.

After spending almost $3000 on a new t.v., I wanted to make sure to get a mount that would keep it safe and sound for life. I read countless reviews and chose this model. I really didn't see where the price was justified on the $250 models. It is a pretty simple setup, afterall. Mounting this was pretty easy. Usually I can't even hang pictures up straight, but I got this perfectly level without having to drill any extra holes. Once the bracket was secured to the wall and the t.v. was ready to hang, I got really nervous trying to put my investment up there. It actually went in pretty easily. You will probably need a long handled #1 phillips screwdriver to reach the bottom securing screws. The tilt feature is nice, but I only use it if I'm swapping out cables.

The wall mount itself is fine and works as you would expect. Biggest problem was understanding the instruction manual (I think it was vague). One additional problem was that the hardware suggested for my plasma was incorrect, however by trial and error I found the appropiate pieces. The project was a success and I'm enjoying laying in bed watching my new panasonic.

Works great for our 32" LCD TV however since the product is made for a range of sizes, 32" - 50" the hardware shows a bit more than I would like behind our 32" TV. My handy husband put the hardware together and though the directions were not as straighforward and clear as he would have liked, he put it together without too much trouble.

1) The product came with missing part. It did not have a little wrench as stated in the picture
2) It seemed that the upper hook and bottom cannot snapped on perfectly.
3) It provided lot of crews for different type of TV. Only M6 crews fit my plasma. After installed, turned on the TV, my plasma dead and I found out the bottom of my plasma has a little crack. I researched online, people said that because of the TV mount caused the stress on the screen to crack. Now I am hesitance to hang my other new Samsung LCD with this mount. :-(

I have a 46" Samsung tv that we mounted with this, easily mounted, worked as described.

Don't even think of spending twice as much to buy this product in a retail store like Best Buy. While this is definitely a two person job that will take some time, it's well worth the savings of a professional installation. The tilt works perfectly. Mounting a TV over the fireplace has opened up our living room perfectly.

I just finished installing my Peerless mount, and I must say it is an excellent product. The mount feels sturdy was able to successfully hold my 37" LG LCD HDTV without a hitch. The mount includes just about every type of screw, spacer, and washer needed for your TV. Installation was easy and the instructions were thorough. I highly recommend this product.

I am very happy with this mount. I had considered going with some much more expensive mounts, but I am glad I didnt. Total installation took about an hour, and no hickups along the way.

I would strongly suggest getting a really good stud finder to be 100% certain you are in the middle of the studs. I used a standard stud finder and had some trouble determining the dead center. I was lucky to have a vent on the floor that had one of the studs visible underneath, some basic measuring found center easily.

This is a great product and my TV looks amazing on the wall now.

I looked all over for a good mount at a low price and found it here. Once I got this mounted, I hung on it to be sure it was sturdy before hanging the plasma screen. Works great, although the tilt is a tad difficult to adjust with a large screen.

To make sure you're getting the right bracket for your TV, you MUST measure your mounting pattern- how far apart the holes on the back of your tv are, width and height. You can find the sizes that these brackets will accomodate, on the Peerless website, under 'specifications'. Peerless does have a 'mount finder', but when I checked the mounting pattern for the one they recommended, I found that it wouldn't fit my (Sanyo 42")TV. SO BEWARE! Also, make sure your TV is 8" wider than the bracket, so the bracket won't show if you have to mount the TV off-center.

To tilt, or not to tilt? That was a big issue for me, when choosing a bracket. If you are mounting the TV much above eye level (determined by where you plan to view the TV from) you will want to 'point it' at the viewer. The TV looks fine if pointing straight over your head, but the picture doesn't look as sharp. I mounted the TV over the fireplace, and we leave it tilted down 15*- to point at head level on the couch.

As for the bracket itself, I am very happy. It is sturdy, comes with clear and detailed directions, and pre-sorted and labeled hardware. Your TV manual will tell you what size bolt will fit into the back of your TV.
The only problem I had was, the 'wrench' they give you to tighten the locking hardware was really long- too long to fit between the TV and the mantle I was mounting above. I had to cut and bend it to use it. Otherwise, this would have gotten 5 stars!

After looking through all the countless options for a mount and not knowing which one was he best for the best price I stumbled upon this Peerless mount. After reading all the reviews I was convinced this was a good buy.
I brought it home and following the easy instructions for installation I mount it on the wall. It supported with ease my 37" LG TV. Again, don't get fooled by its size and the idea that there is only 4 screws holding this mount.

Great product. The wall anchors that come with the mount definitely inspire confidence that this is not going to ever come off the wall. The range of movement is great and it's easy to adjust.

Not to difficult to install.Main concern were the wall studs, most know what type and how wide are they, some old buildings have narrow metal ones, very hard to pin point with a basic stud finder, better use a center finder stud finder, and some trial and error.Tilt feature a plus (you can install it higher and still be confortable for viewing)

I purchased this mount for a Sony Bravia 46" LCD. The picture is different than the actual mount but it works perfectly fine. I did have to use different screws for the tv than what came with the mount, came with M8 X 12 and M8 X 20, I needed M8 X 16. No other issues. Weight rating is 3 times the weight of my tv so no problems there. Tilt adjustment is fairly easy to use. I would buy one again if I needed another one.

I like this product and the price was right but it could have been a little easier to install. The directions were a little confusing regarding securing to the tv. Also, trying to tighten the final two pin screws after mounting on the wall was difficult. Other than the extra effort described above, the unit works well.

I purchased this wall mount for my 32 Inch Sony Bravia television since the ratings were pretty good. The mount itself is good quality but I would recommend this one for those who have a 40 inch, or larger to mount. The issue is the back mounting bracket looks painfully obvious behind the television. I needed to purchase the larger wall mount so I could center the bracket between two studs in the wall. When I hang the television, the black brackets hang out to the width of the television. So unless you are viewing straight-on, the brackets are exposed.

The instructions leave a lot to be desired, as well. I had to guess which bolts to remove in order to get the tilt function working. They do not address this area except for the ratcheting handle used to loosen and tighten the brackets to change position.

The product arrived quickly from Amazon and I would recommend for use on the larger televisions.

Okay, so this seemed easy to put up, certainly, from the beginning.

I got the wall fixture mounted, finally. The instructions recommended a 5/32" drilled guide hole for the screws into the studs, but the screws were quite outsized (I'm guessing to make sure that there is a good solid joint to the stud) and I found it very difficult to screw in those anchor screws. The screwdriver would slip out of the slot without advancing, and I had to resort to wrench or ratchet socket to finally get the screws in. You may want a larger drilled (3/16") guide hole, with, what I would percieve no loss of strength.

Then, with the brackets attached to the TV, they were supposed to adjust for tilt, but I had a dickens of a time getting them to finally loosen up and the one frame piece pulled out from the other frame piece to achieve the tilt (spent over 45 minutes just getting that done.)

Then, when mounted on the back of the TV, came the next adventure of placing brackets to wall fixture. We were placing our TV to a higher position in the room, and on ladders, it was hard for my wife or I to see back behind the TV to locate the track, and to find and tighten the security screw. I've seen those articulating fixtures, and I gotta believe they may be easier to get access to and mount. Once up, well, the TV is secure and this is fine for its purpose.

Despite my concerns about mounting my precious flat screen on the wall, I agreed when my husband suggested this purchase as it would enhance the look of our television room. It was very easy to measure out where it needed to be and took just a few minutes to install. There was no problem attaching the television (40"). We have been using it for a few weeks now with no issues and we do not anticipate any.

WALL MOUNT SHIPPED IN ONE DAY, RECEIVED THREE DAYS LATER. HOLDS MY SAMSUNG 46INCH TV PERFECTLY ON THE WALL, FAIRLY EASY TO SET UP. VERY HAPPY, WOULD ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
