Had it profesionally installed and so far I am very happy with it.
It does great with my main objective which is to have full hand's free
clear bluetooth in car.

Excellent, that's it!
I had others bluetooth devices on my cars, and all I can say is that Pioneer really knows how to do it.
Perfect and clear voices on both sides of the call. 1000% recommended.

Works ok but issues with iPhone 3G
I've had this device for a little over a year now, and have tried using it with my iPhone 3G with anything from the v2 firmare to the latest v3.2 but keep on having the same issue.
While the latest iPhone firmware adds Bluetooth audio capabilities the Pioneer unit is nowhere near able to play anything from the phone.
Secondly, the contact list cannot be transfered.
Finally and more importantly pairing is just not working period. I have tried absolutely everything with both the phone and the BT module but as soon as the car is powered off the pairing will break. You will need to unpair the device and re-pair the iPhone to the Pioneer unit every single time... That's a huge pain to be honest. I'm not sure who to blame, Pioneer, Apple or the skaky Bluetooth spec.
Now on the good side is that phone quality is absolutely flawless when the unit is paired and working properly and it does work with other phones w/o problems.
Still a shame that the unit wasn't properly tested with such a popular phone before being released.
Installed on the AVH 4100 the bluetooth adapter works great the only complaint is that it will not download the phone book from my T-mobile My Touch otherwise works as advertised.
This works well with the pioneer 4100, prob is dah i got a black berry bold and i cant load the phone book, onlt drawback, but then when u got people in ur vehicle you might now want any names poping up either, playaz look out!!

Pioneer CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Wireless Adapter
Awesome little addition to the Pioneer head units. Though, the BT Audio seems to skip and/or pause a lot. Not sure if it's my iPhone 3G or the Pioneer Wireless Adapter though. Overall I'm satisfied. Phone call quality is absolutely excellent. Functionality and user friendliness are also definitely up to par. I think a system like this is a definite rival to Fords SYNC.

I will get back with you on the review
Having technical difficulty with the voice command function not playing back through the speakers. Phone gets command ok, but cannot hear responce.
Bought this unit to play music and take calls from my iPhone 3g wirelessly and it performs those tasks flawlessly. All for 100 dollars less than retail stores price on the unit. Very happy. Easy set up and configuration. Didn't even need to read the manual.

Great piece of equipment; wish Amazon offered price difference
I ordered this after owning my AVIC-D3 for two years and some months. I strongly regret not buying it sooner! Compared to the older Pioneer BT solutions, this works beautifully! I placed the mic on the edge of the headliner right next to the rearview mirror. This allows me to angle it towards me and provides the best sound pickup. Anyone I talk to doesn't even know I'm in the car-- It's just that good. I use this in conjunction with my iPhone 3G. It doesn't support the phonebook transfer, and I don't always get a caller ID on the screen, but with my current setup, it's easy just to glance at the phone instead. One feature I absolutely love is the ability to use BT audio directly to the stereo! There is no discernable difference between the wireless and wired audio.
The only issue I had was that I purchased this for $106 with 2-day Prime shipping. By the time I received the unit, the price had dropped $10. I asked Amazon if they would refund the difference to me, but it's not within their policy.
Bottom line: I'd recommend this adapter to anyone!

Muzic with Pioneer CD-BTB200
After hours of setup I was never able to get the mp3 of my Muzic cell phone to connect as an mp3 player. It works great for the phone call feature but not for music.
I have to try to connect 2x everytime I get in the car before it works. Was not able to upload contact either. Maybe it's a Sprint, Samsung Q issue?

great handsfree (espaƱol)
es un excelente handsfree para andar en el carro, eh utilizado muchos otros y este es el mejor, muy recomendado
I got this unit to hook up to my new AVH3100. I was able to pair it and register my iPhone fairly easily. The problem is either Pioneer's or Apple's implementation of Bluetooth. I am able to receive calls over the head unit no problem, it sounds great, and people say I sound just fine when talking to them. The problem comes when I try to dial out. Even though it is paired and registered, the menu for direct dial, log, and phone book only show up every once in a while. While this is a problem, I can still use my iPhone to dial, and it goes through the head unit just fine. I am hoping when Apple updates the iPhone to 3.0 that it will fix this bug.
All in all it works "good enough".

Compatibility issues.
This product works great with my Pioneer AVH-p5100dvd. I can tell you my LG Shine cell phone was not compatible with this unit. I was due for a new phone any way so i bought a Blackberry Curve II. I had no problems registering it with this unit. pairing is easy. and phone book transfer was as well. People who i converse with via the included mic do not even know i'm on a hands free unit. they are clear as well. Theres really no way of knowing however if you currant cell phone is compatible. Pioneer does not provide a list of cell phones. And just because you cell phone is bluetooth compatible, do your homework. Read the forums. I do know cells with the Windows apps give this unit fits. All the BlackBerrys work I am told. I've yet to find anything bad with this unit.

Works. Would buy again, still room for improvement.
Works as advertised. Sound quality very good. You can install this yourself if you know how to install car stereos. If not, you might want to get some help from your local installer. Auto-answer works great. My radio automatically switches to the phone, rings twice, and picks up. After the call it switches back. Areas for improvement: 1) phone book - you should be able to easily transfer your phone book to this unit, but you probably can't. The unit is set up to work with a phone that can "push" the phone book. Both my phones can let another device "pull" the phone book, but neither can push. So both my phone and this device sit there waiting for the other to start. Very annoying. 2) you can't use any of the advanced functions unless your parking brake is on. For example, you can't manually pair a phone, dial a number on the radio screen or anything like that unless your parking brake is on (this applies to radios with built in DVD players only).

Background noise!!!
The install was a snap....it's easy to use.... but I have yet to find a place to put the mic where it doesn't pick up EVERYTHING. There needs to be a way to adjust the mic sensitivity. I get very little complaints from the other end of the line when sitting still with the engine off but if the truck is in motion everyone says there is too much background noise to clearly understand me.

Pretty good, works with my Blackberry Pearl
When I first installed this, my Blackberry Pearl could not connect automatically. I was only able to connect by "searching" for the bluetooth device and reattaching it every time I wanted to use it. Obviously this is not an optimal solution.
I did some research and found that others were having some issues with this as well. After updating the software on my Blackberry Pearl to the latest Firmware OS (operating system) release, it worked like a charm. I was able to connect automatically to the Pioneer Bluetooth adapter whenever I sat in my car without having to do anything. I just had to make sure my phone's bluetooth was "on." I was also able to transfer the address book from my phone to the Bluetooth module's phone book.
I like how when a call comes in, the music mutes so you know the call is coming in. The music resumes when the person ends the call.
Headunit: Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD
Phone: Blackberry Pearl 8100 (T-mobile USA)
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes the person's voice will cut out. I'm not sure what causes this but when I turn the volume lower it seems to help. I might have something to do with the Auto echo-canceling feature.
A NOTE FOR INSTALLING: Make sure you connect the "Blue" to the "Blue" and the "Black" to the "Black" on the IP-bus connector. Otherwise you may run into the problem where they can hear you but you can't hear them or vice-versa. I had this problem and I thought my unit was defective only to find out I installed it incorrectly.

easy self install, works with iphone
I am not the most mechanical person in the world, however i was able to install this MYSELF (which is a huge accomplishment for me) in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer with a Pioneer AVIC D3 already installed.
Basically, all you really need to do is follow ALL the instructions. Some phones will not sync the address book like my iPhone, or maybe i just didnt follow the instructions that well. Pairing the phone was semi weird, but just read the instructions word for word. It will save you a headache.
The sound is excellent on both ends. No one can tell if i'm using the device or not. The cords are long enough to place the mic and unit just about anywhere you want.
The only think i DON'T like is you don't have the option to use the dial pad while on a call, you have to use the phone itself. Safety first right?
Overall, this is the best thing i could have added to my vehicle since i never take my ear piece BT off the charger. This was the a very easy decision for me to make.
I have the Verizon LG VX8600 and when i try to pair the phone the unit reads (invalid device) from reading the other reviews this unit sounds awsome but in my case i guess i have to purchase another phone like some reviews state not all phones are compatible with this device so before purchasing this item do your research.

I can't get it to work
I have had this for about a month. It is easy to install, but I can't get it to work with my phone. My phone will find the device, but for some reason will not pair. So I spent $130 for something pretty useless to me at this point. If I can get it to work I am sure it would be an awesome product.

CD-BTB200 The best Bluetooth Car Adapter by far!!
I have the CD-BTB200 linked to my AVH-P7800DVD in a Expedition with a sound system. All passengers in the car can be heard clearly (so watch you say). Most people who complain about this product doesn't know how to pair it their phone properly. I have a HTC 8525 and a Treo 650 with JetWare mobile software and all functions are available(Direct dial, voice dial, all phone book options). In regards to the phone book, you must send or beam your phone book entries to your unit.
This is a must have, especially if you spend a lot of time in your vehicle
Had the unit installled with the Pioneer Avic D3 and it worked like a charm. Caller ID, call waiting and all other features work as promised.

Pioneer Bluetooth Wireless Adapter
Generally speaking this product does what it's supposed to do: provide you with handsfree capability through your compatible Pioneer head unit. It provides clear and crisp sound, and works with most bluetooth enabled cell phones. There is however, one small, minor problem (depending upon your level of tolerance and expectation): some phones are not compatible with the phone book transfer feature of the unit. After numerous hours of searching the web, it still isn't clear why any of my bluetooth enabled phones aren't compatible with this feature. So a word of caution, if you're looking to take advantage of all the features this product offers, make sure you do a thorough search on the web to see if your phone is compatible, otherwise you may find yourself utterly disappointed. Other than that, this is a great accessory to my Pioneer AVIC-D3.

Pioneer Bluetooth Adapter
i paired this unit with a Pioneer AVIC-D3 NAV HEAD UNIT. My cell phone carrier is Verizon. Once a cell phone is paired it then must be registered in order to maintain the pairing. Could not get the phonebook download to work with my phone. Overall unit works good with direct dial or stored numbers or when answering incoming calls. Not as smooth as factory installed voice recognition units in newer cars.

Excelent bluetooth handsfree
This unit is excellent. I purchased this adapter, to be used with my premier DEH-P690UB, and it works great, feels like a factory equipment. It comes with the microphone and installation wires, very long ones, so yo can put it almost wherever you like (I did my own instalation).
Once connected, all you have to do is pair your bluetooth mobile to the unit, and register it as a phone. you can register 5 mobile phones, 3 main registration, and 2 guest phones (it only auto-connect with registered phones). The difference between the main phones, and the guest ones, is that the main ones, can handle phone book entries. Phonebook entries are 500 (total), 300 for phone #1, 150 for phone #2, and 50 for phone #3. Phonebook entries, refers to names, and each name can have many numbers assigned. I have 260 entries, some with 5 numbers assigned, and are working fine. Reading the phonebook in my unit, is a little slow I think, as it takes bout 2 seconds for the 1st name name to appear, an then they begin to appear progressively.
Transferring the phonebook is easy, as far as YOUR MOBILE phone supports it. Some phones, allow you to transfer all contacts (one example is almost any SonyEricsson) others, allows you to transfer contacts one by one, and in some, it simply not posible, but that depends on the phone, not this unit.
As for the sound quality, is excellent. Almost anyone that I have called, noticed no difference between using the handsfree or using my mobile directly. You can adjust the volume, and it stays the same for phone mode, independently of other modes. Other audio ajustments are fixed.
When I receive a call, the radio automatically switch to phone mode (even if the unit is off), and the caller id is displayed on the screen, even with the name (if it is in the radio phonebook), and also gets back to the previous mode after you hangup (or reject) the call. With my head unit, is very difficult to dial a number, since it has no number keys on the front. You have to scroll number by number, although you can dial easily using the remote control (of the main unit) since it have all the numbers. I suppose it is easier on avic units.
I have read that this unit has some problems with Windows Mobile Smartphones, because some bluetooth limitations on the WM bluetooth, but it can be fixed with some 30 USD software I can't remember. I haven't tested this limitations since I don't have one available yet, but I advise WM Smartphone users to research a little.
PROS:
-Excellent sound quality.
-Integrates well with bluetooth compatible Pioneer and Premier units.
-Can register 5 Mobile phones
-Separate phonebook for the 3 main ones.
-Each phonebook entry can have many numbers (I have tested a max. of 5)
-Can play (and control in some cases) Bluetooth compatible music players, as long as they support the A2DP profile
-Works on stand by, even if the main unit is off (as long as the car switch is on ACC or ON position)
-Lot of options.
Cons:
-Phonebook a little slow to read the entries.
-Difficult to 'direct dial' a phone number on some units.
-?Compatibility issues with some smartphones?
I highly recomend this product, to anyone who has a Pioneer bluetooth compablible head unit and a bluetooth phone.

This Bluetooth Device is Golden !!
Great service and quick delivery. This Bluetooth device works like a charm. Had it Professionally installed and everyone states the sound quality is as if was right next to them. Thanks Amazon and 6th Ave Electronics. Keep up the good service. A+++
Just note: The trick to getting your Cell phone working to the Pioneer CD-BTB200, is to have the Pioneer CD-BTB200 search and configure your cell phone. The manual will walk you through this. The phone not stay connected via Bluetooth, if you use your Cell phone to attach \ configure itself to the Pioneer CD-BTB200. :)
This adapter works almost so well you think it is factory equipment. Works great wih my cell phone and even lets me transfer my phonebook into the head unit(Pioneer Avic-d3). I love it!
LOVE IT !
I have had three previous bluetooth cell phone handsfree devices, this is the best yet, connects quickly, is CLEAR AS EVER and has more options that even I have used.
Phone book feature is a bit difficult to get to work. have not got that going as yet.
