Sandisk 4GB Secure Digital SD HC Memory Card (SDSDB-4096, BULK, No Reader)

i bought this for my new digital camera and it holds over 1000 pics. no need to worry about running out of memory on vacations.

I am not happy with the Sandisk because I never got it. But I will get refund.

its ok but u should buy more then 4gb card to get the full experience.

Ordered a Camera,Case and Memory Card all at the same time. Camera Case showed up in a couple days. Camera after about a week. Been about a month now an memory card still hasnt showed up!!!!!!!!!

I have a S630 nikon and I never run out of space, even when I record multiple videos

Bought this to go with a digital camera for the holidays. Though the original packaging was missing. I saved nearly 60% in cost versus a store bought equivilent. I would recommend scanning any store bought memory for viruses... there have been instances where the devices have been loaded up at the manufacturing site, without the manufacturers knowledge... all in all good purchase.

This memory disc is versatile - it fits in my Canon SD camera, fits on all our laptops, and fits in the digital frame we got. It stored tones of pictures and music. Works well. In terms of speed, I don't have what to compare it to. Good value for price.

The disk is a great storage device. I bought it through Amazon with my new Kodak Easyshare camera. The price was right, my disappointment was it shipped from another supplier. Coming from another supplier I spent more on the shipping of this disk than the cost of the disk itself. AND I could have gone into any local store and purchased this disk for much less. Live and learn the Amazon way...

This does not work at all in my camera it always says unusable get a new memory card. also it looks nothing like the picture they are showing because the picture is the one I use I'm not sure what they sent, but poor poor business practice to show one thing and ship another.

I am pretty much happy with transaction..It was fast, quick and hassle free..

Delivery was prompt, price was good and it works as advertised. There's not much else you can ask of this little memory device.

I have 2 other SanDisc cards with smaller capacity. These are my first 4GB cards. All of them work well...no problems at all. Will probably buy more in the future. SanDisc will be the product brand of choice.

I have used many SanDisk Cards and like them very much. The vendor sent the card immediately. I would do business with them again.

What can I say? It works like it should. The transaction was uneventful and the product does what you would expect it to do.

Does a good job. Has plenty of space for photos. Sometimes it will lock-up and will not allow you to "cut/copy/paste" files. It says it is "password" protected when it really isn't.

card works great, i bought it for my Nintendo Wii to put all my old original nintendo games on, 4 gig will be more than enough. 2 gb would of prob been enough truthfully for anyone looking to buy an SD card for ur Wii, Just make sure it is an SD HC for the Wii, has to be an HC. atleast that is what i read online. but anyway working great so far. thanks

Works well. Although the shipping cost from Simply Electronics is more than the SD card itself, the total is still less than other 4GB cards.

Unfortunately, we never received this product although it was listed as being delivered, but I know that Sandisk products are high quality and would recommend them.

I bought this SD card in preparation for a new digital camera and thought it was a great deal (only about $7). After purchasing the camera I installed this new memory card and it seemed to be capturing the images just fine. However, when trying to transfer the images to my PC or through a Photosmart printer an error displayed that it could not read the card. I was disappointed since all of our holiday pictures were taken with the camera and captured on this card. Maybe a bad batch of Sandisk cards were produced around that time. Has anyone else had this experience before?

Product works great and significantly increases the memory capacity of my camera (128 MB before) I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to take a lot of pictures and needs a new SD card. May not be the fastest thing on the block, but it holds a high capacity.

Since Sony cameras don't come with memory cards, you have to have one of these.

Great card. I haven't had many problems until recently.. the card can't read some of the pictures I took with my camera and could see before.. it says "incompatible jpeg".. I think it's weird because I used to be able to view those photos.

This card was bundled with the Canon camera for a small extra charge. The real value was the free shipping and no sales tax through Amazon. I prefer 4gb cards over 8gb since I can carry several cards and download and clear them when I am ready. With 8gb I tend to keep shooting without re-formating and end up downloading the same pictures over and over to get to a few pictures I want to email. I carry several cards and a backup battery when traveling in foreign countries so that I can label the cards and download them when I return. Sandisk is a good brand that I have found to be reliable. Don't let sales clerks at electronics stores sell you high priced "faster" memory. Most cameras don't fire off shots fast enough to make a difference.

This card gets the job done. If you have a USB cable and dont mind using it as your way to transfer photos from your camera then this is the card for you. I dont like to open up my camera and remove tiny cards from it every time i want to transfer photos. I am not a fan of "card readers" personally. On my 12mp camera it holds about 1000 photos on the card. Way more then i ever need room for. Im pretty regular about putting them on my computer. Personally i dont know why you would want to buy anything larger unless you loved caring all your photos around with you all the time. If thats the case, get a nice large capacity card. So if your looking for the cheapest reliable storage space, buy this.

I've had two of these cards for two years without any problems. They work well and have been reliable.

This was a really good deal. It was just what I expected it to be.

Beware. Shipping charge of $9 for mailing two disks is gouging, plain and simple.

What more can I say other than it's a memory card that works for my new Panasonic Lumix XR1 with no issues.

I ordered a 4 GB memory card from Digital Media Source through Amazon, along with a digital camera and picture frame. Because of the order total ($300), I qualified for free shipping, but Digital Media cancelled the shipment because they said my address was invalid. The address is fine - I've been here for 20 years - and the other items arrived in 2 days. After reading the other reviews of how they slam people with high shipping charges, it appears that they won't ship it under the free shipping condition - they don't make enough money. The invalid address excuse is a sneaky trick. I'm going to Walmart to pick one up for $4 more, but no $12 shipping charge.

Adds a lot of space, so if you want you can leave your photos on. Good gift for someone who does not have access to a computer (yes, these people still exist!).

I put it in my camera and didnt work, i had to buy a new one at k-mart, it was a 2 gig and it worked. So the problem wasnt my camera.

I tried this in my RCA mp3 player. It didn't work unfortunately, but it works great in my camera.

This is pretty much worthless. It doesn't have a "reader" and won't work in my computer (slide in slot). I suppose I could download from the camera with the cord and such, but that is so inconvenient it is worthless to me. I ended up just going to WalMart and buying a 2.0 gb normal one. I am not exactly sure why it was recommended with the Coolpix because it really didn't work well. Be sure to choose one with a reader so it works in your computer, photo frame, TV, printer, etc.

It is a great price, but the only problem I had was trying to transfer some of the pictures from the card to my computer. Most of the pictures transferred, but some were still on the card(I used my camera to see that they were still there)and would not transfer.

I am very glad that I bought this card.

Windows XP tells me that it's a FAT32 filesystem.

I guess I'll just have to take their word on it.

Linux mounts it fine with -t vfat, and I guess I'll take their word on that too.

See, I'm not an expert on filesystem types and all such stuff as that.

But I'm at least able to tell you that this card works for me.

To move files back and forth between XP and Debian machines.

Bought this item for my camera for a Cruise to Greece, so I could take lots of pictures. The item came in record time and the price was right. While on the cruise I inserted the new Scandisk into the camera and found it was forever locked. I tried sliding the little switch a number of directions but never did get it to work.

I am sure this card is fine for products in which it actually works.....unfortunately my camera is not one of them, even though SanDisk claims my Canon Sd 630 works with SDHC cards, it in fact does NOT. Screen reads "Memory card locked" even when it is not locked. :( Bummer Hopefully I can sell it!!

well i dont know if its me but isn't this suppose to be able to go in your computer so i can get the memory transferred? it doesnt work like that I am pretty upset I went of vacation took photos and its not reading and I have 3 computers in my house and none is a no go.. I got to figure out another way time to dig up my usb cord..

I guess I should have known better, you can't get something for cheap and expect it to perform properly. This card corrupted my photos while it was in my camera! I have never had problems with other SanDisk products but this one is junk...

Does what you expect it to do - there are very few features of an SD card that you would expect - it perfoms as expected, no loss of data, no issues at all - good card - I have had cards in the past that have performed badly and corrupted data after a few weeks, not the case here after daily use for the last couple of months - I recommend....

I absolutely love Sandisk! I believe they are one of the best memory cards you can get. I've never had any problems with mine and they're super simple to use.

i bought this only to discover it is NOT compatible with most Windows XP SD readers and very limited compatiability with older digital cameras - i have a Canon sd400 which it DOES NOT work with - but i have a Canon sd770is which it does work with - my Sony Vaio desktop running Windows XP Professional does not recognize the disk but my Sony Vaio laptop running Windows Vista Business Edition does - kind of a pain in the butt - buy at your own risk - endnote: i paid [...] no joke, nice little margin of profit on that shipping fee ....
