SET OF 2 STEEL HANGER CASCADERS

I have a very small closet, I'm talking 3 feet of space for a whole lot of clothes. I desperately need a space-saver and thought these would get the job done. Don't be fooled, these save virtually NO space. Sure, there's more room on the closet rung itself, but when you drop it down the clothes all bunch up and push out at the bottom, especially if you're hanging sweaters, jackets, etc. So you have more room for the actual hangers, but unless you prefer your clothes packed together at the bottom and a wrinkled mess, these are not the miracle workers they claim to be. Overall, you can force these to make more space, but your clothes will be wrinkled. I probably fit about three more garments into my closet after using these. And it's still packed..

Good - Metal is sturdy, allows me to hang more hangers in my tiny dorm closet.

Bad - Moves crowding from the top of closet to bottom. Picture depicts the closet being cut in half, but because most of my clothes hung are thick jackets it doesn't quite work that way. I think this is better for a lot of shirts, and not heavier/thicker clothing.

I purchased some plastic cascaders that didn't work at all. I saw these were steel and decided to try them. While you only get two per order, they are worth their weight in gold. They are the only reliable cascaders that I've seen thus far.

Item showed as being available but wasn't; it took about a week after order was placed for vendor to acknowledge that it wasn't going to be shipped. Subsequent emails requesting status update were either ignored or erroneous in their information. Item finally (supposedly) shipped about a month after order placed. Ship date: 2/18; estimated arrival date: 2/4. Nice trick! If the quality of the merchandise is anything like the quality of customer service, I'm in trouble....

These helped, they were sturdy and did help save some space and also helped organize. They are good for hanging shirts, blouses, and maybe thin pants on, I would not try hanging a bunch of sweaters or jeans on them though. While they are sturdy enough for it, if you have a lot of clothes in your closet hanging thick items on these wont save much space.

The steel wonder hanger works really well for my small closet. I bought 2 sets of these and it was definitely worth it. The clothes don't even hang low to the ground. This is a great deal at a very good price.

I purchased a set of two of these hanger cascaders after hearing that the plastic ones were flimsy. I am very happy with the actual product even though they were a lot smaller than they looked in the pictures. $5.69 is a great deal for two of these and I am very happy with that. Two of them really create a lot of extra room in my tiny closet. Now, on to the seller. I would not recommend anyone buy from THE STORAGE STORE. I placed the order on December 30 and just got them today, which makes it four day short of a month. I sent a few emails after the delivery date had passed and they hadn't shown up yet only to get no response. I got an automated email days later on Jan 12th saying they were backordered and wouldn't be in until Jan 20th. I called last week to see what the delay was and the girl assured me they would ship that day, but they didn't end up going out until a few days later. I was really given the run around by these people and will never buy from them again, but I am going to buy some more hangers elsewhere. I highly recommend them!

I love this hanger! If you are shopping for a cascading hanger be sure to get the steel ones- not any one made of plastic! The plastic cascading hangers bend.

I am a college student, and I need to save as much space in my closet as I can, so I bought these. They feel very durable. I found that, however, they were more useful for organizing my closet rather than saving space. In fact, I may have lost some space because the shirts hang down low. I was storing my luggage under my clothes before, but it no longer fits. It may be that since my closet was absolutely stuffed with clothes that it was doomed from the onset as far as space-saving goes. I will buy two more of the sets of two and will post an update. Also, the hooks barely fit on my particular rail. It is about 4.25" in circumference.

I bought a very similar product and like it. It indeed saves closet space, but the prices here at Amazon are expensive. Bed Bath & Beyond sells the exact same product under a different name for much less.

As of December 9, 2009, the lowest price for the hanger cascaders at Amazon is $5.69 + $4.95 shipping = $10.64 for a set of *TWO*. That averages out to be $5.32 for each one.

I bought mine at a local Bed, Bath & Beyond on December 9, 2009. Bed Bath & Beyond sold the product under a different name: "Wonder Hanger Platinum Edition". It has the exact same design with six slots each. The Platinum Edition means it is made of metal. If you intend on buying this product, you want to stay away from the regular (plastic) edition. The plastic one breaks if its loads become too heavy.

Bed Bath & Beyond sells Wonder Hanger Platinum for $14.99 + 1.46 Los Angeles sales tax = $16.45, but for a set of SIX. That's a box of six cascaders instead of two that's being sold here. So I paid only $2.72 for each cascader, and I saved $5.32 - $2.72 = $2.60 for each one when I bought it from Bed Bath & Beyond instead of here. If I had a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon, I would have save even more.

I plan to buy at least two more boxes of six. Most people (especially women) who use this product would need more than thirty-six slots to organize all their clothes, (i.e., each box has six cascaders, each cascader has six slots.)

Unfortunately, Amazon does not have Wonder Hanger Platinum Edition. I buy most of my stuff from Amazon, but obviously I can't buy it here because Amazon does not have it.

If you do not have any Bed Bath & Beyond near you, you can google "Wonder Hanger Platinum" and possibly buy it online. Bed Bath & Beyond seems to be the only store that sells it. It is cheaper to buy it at a local store than online. The local sale tax should be cheaper than shipping and handling fees. However, even with shipping and handling, it's still cheaper to buy it from Bed Bath & Beyond.

I purchased these as a result of previously purchasing the plastic version and having been let down terribly. These did exactly what I wanted them to do and were sturdy enough that I didn't have to worry about what type of clothes I used them for whether it sweaters or jeans. The only complaint, if any, would be the hook size. However, the bars in my closet are modified and in an ordinary situation this would not even be worth mentioning.

My closet situation was out of hand. Saw the infomercial for Wonder-Hanger and did some research. The plastic units got terrible reviews and I confirmed this by checking them out at the store. They are complete junk. These things are steel and so much stronger for a couple extra dollars. Skip the plastic ones and get these instead. These things are very strong and will hold a dozen shirts if you want to go that route. Even 6 pairs of jeans from a husky guy aren't a problem.

these are the best investment I've made. It's remarkable how much space you save in your closet and well organized they make it.

These are the real deal. I was looking for wonder hangers when I found these steel cascading hangers. Not only do they hold 6 instead of 5, but they are steel, not plastic! I had a stuffed closet, and now it's an organized closet. I can move hangers where I had hangers overlapping before. I bought 38 of these things just so you know how much I have in my closet. My whole closet is organized with these steel hangers, but if I ever buy more clothes I will come right back here to buy more steel cascaders, and will buy from these guys because they ship SUPER FAST.

Very strong and practical. I ordered 4 sets initially, and I am now ordering two more sets. Great product to
organize and free up some room in closets. With shirts, you will have 6 or 7 in the space of one shirt. Great product.

definitely saves space for pants and shirts. however, for big coats, it is just as bulky as hanging them normally. Great value (2 in a set) compared with other closet space saving items.

It's been 8 days since I've ordered this product and still have yet to receive it. I paid $5.90 for it to be shipped from New Jersey to Virgina Beach, a mere 200 mile journey. I've paid less to send items to Houston, TX, a 1,200 mile trip, and they've gotten there quicker. Regardless of the product itself, I'll never do business with this company again.

I purchased two sets of two at first, very pleased, ended up ordering 2 more sets. they really do save space. will not work with some bulkier items. literally doubled the space in my closet. well built, made of steel, not cheap plastic like some of the other hangers I saw. fast delivery as well. make sure your closet rod can hold the compacted watch. watch the shipping with some of the sellers, it can add to the cost quickly. overall, very happy, no problem recommending to others

It does add a bit of bulk at the bottom but it was something I could handle. It does a nice job of organizing and saving space for me. I have a walk in closet thats not quite walk in to me.

The item was shipped fast. It looks very steady and i managed to hang over 8 pairs of jeans on it. I originally bought it after i read reviews that the plastic version of the product, which is much cheaper, is not sturdy enough. After buying these, i was so pleased and i tried the plastic ones, 8 for $10 at Bed Bath and Beyond, and i have to say i was very pleased with them as well. So if you are looking to hang light clothes like shirts and tshirts, or even dresses, go for the plastic, you get much more value for your money. But for heavy items,jeans, pants coats and the like, the metal hanger is what you need, hence the 4 stars. Great invention, and very practical.

These hanger cascaders are great. When I initially purchased them I was skeptical about them being able to hold relatively heavy items such as 6 heavy sports coats or suits. They are just as sturdy with these heavy items as they are with a set of t-shirts. The price cannot be beat because of the shipping and handling. Other sites have cheaper prices for the items but you get killed with the shipping. One suggestion is that if you decide to order this item you should order more than you expect to need because you end up needing more. I wish I would have had these when I was in college.

I was so surprised that these are great. My closet is disgustingly packed full of shirts. I bought several of these, and will be buying more! Definitely worth the purchase! :)

Bought a set of these to see if they would clear some closet clutter. Decided steel would be a better route than the plastic ones I had seen. Just used them to hang some sweaters that were taking up a full dresser drawer. They worked great! Noticed another reviewer said they did not really clear any space but unless you're hanging snowsuits or some other very bulky item, I don't see how they couldn't work. The clothes cascade down and there really isn't much bulk at all. I'm going to purchase some more now and hang the rest of my clothes with them.

I almost never write reviews but this product is exceptional. I have a fairly small closet and it is now completely transformed. It looks completely organized and even allows me to put my shoes on the botton (whereas before there was no room). I would absolutely recommend it.

If you did your entire closet with these Steel Hanger Cascaders, my opinion is that you would be just moving the smash-up down to the lower half of the closet. However, if you use a few of them just to organize, it most certainly will improve your accessability to your stuff -- as you need it. For example, if you are always reaching for your collection of polo shirts or dress blouses, keeping them together on one of these cascades can be a big help when getting dressed in the morning. On the other hand, you could choose to hang some of the things that you use least often, like out-of-season tops or folded-over pants.

Just looking at my closet now, it definitely seems a little less jammed-up, and I most definitely do not regret this purchase. As a matter of fact, I'll be sure to pick-up a few more.

So, my closet is JAM PACKED as in get double the sardines in the same can, packed. Got this hoping it would aleve the space.. no. All it did was organize it, but it was wider at the bottom, so therefore.. taking up the same amount of space.. but instead of me taking one item at a time from my closet, I can now take 6. Gee. Save space it does not. I don't know what the other reviewers did differently than me.

Absolutely LOVE this product! My closets were full and my daughter is moving back home. I was able to completely empty one closet and create more room in the other two. They are very sturdy and I will order more. I also ordered the plastic ones so I'm curious to see how they hold up compared to the steel ones.
