[+] 10.0 Good Value but you will get only the silver color version
For what I paid, this is the best value. It comes with rechargeable battery and AC adapter. I ordered also higher capacity battery for the purpose.

The product photo show a black color video light. The model number is SL-9. What Amazon will ship you is the silver color body version with model number SL-9X. You can never get the black color version from Amazon.

I only need a low power video color so I can get good light on object if I do interview. Don't expect it will light up the entire room with that.

[+] 2.0 Too little light
I should have known that at only 3 watts this would be insufficient for my needs. I find it virtually useless, it puts out so little light. After realizing my error, I purchased the SL-8, which has two lamps, 10 watts and 20 watts each, which allows you to select settings of 10 and 30 watts, or 20 and 30 watts, depending upon how the lamps are installed.

[+] 6.0 Decent light, cheap batteries
The problem with the is light isn't the light itself, it's the cheap foreign batteries they include with it. They hold a charge for about 2 seconds. If you put in decent NIMH batteries, you'll find the light to be brighter and last longer.

[+] 2.0 Won't stay on
Don't bother with this light. I am returning it and spending the extra few bucks to get the Canon. The light is constantly varying as I move the camera, and sometimes it flickers off. I was able to make it stay on if I held the camera at certain angles, but that's useless. Reminds me of one of those super-cheap flashlights that you have to constantly shake.
