Sony BCTRP Battery Charger for NP-FH Series Batteries

super easy to use and works in lots of different outlets (i currently live in china and there is no adapter needed when i plug it into the wall). small enough to carry with the camera. definitely would recommend it.

Nice design and the batteries lock in place. The folding plugs make this easy to transport. I kept the little plastic back it was shipped with to keep dust out of the contact points when traveling.

This is a great deal. No more having to connect the camcorder to the wall outlet to charge the battery. I can use one battery while charging the other. Here we come Hollywood.

Charger works great. Batteries plug in well, just don't force them in. The contacts are small on the battery & the charger so it should be common sense not to force them, it is electronics. The spades on the plugin' side fold down for ease of storage.

I bought this battery charger for my Sony Camcorder. The charger reliably charges my battery in a couple of hours and is a neccessity while traveling.

i order a Sony BCTRP Battery Charger for NP-FH Series Batteries that mounts right to the wall and they sent me a charger with a cord i don'tknow why they put different pic.from battery4less it works but its not the one i wanted.

The portable (with retracting plug prongs) is much more than I expected. It recharges in a very short time and has the wonderful addition of an easy-to-see indicator light. The light is clearly ON when the charging is taking place and OFF when the charging is complete. Even fully drained batteries are charged quickly. I especially enjoy the compact portability. With its compact size comes a well-built product and worth the extra money you pay for a Sony product. Because I have many Sony batteries this is my second purchase of this exact model of charger. I find no faults in this and am very, very happy!

it's a must have gadget if you have many spare batteries, or you just want to charge more than 1 batteries at a time!

=> better buy 2/3 of this rather getting the AC-VQH10, sure AC-VQH10 have nice screen that show the batteries information,
but it only charge 1 batteries at a time even though it have 2 docking bay.

Glad that I got this battery charger along with the extended battery. Both worked great togetherwith my Sony Handycam. Easy to use , just plug into the outlet. The price is great, saw it at other stores for a higher price. I used it to shoot video for my niece's baby shower.

If you have a extra battery as I do for my camcorder this is something you need to have in your bag. I can't believe Sony don't include it with the camcorders when you purchase it. Works great and saves time when you don't have time to stop recording to use your camcorder to charge a run down battery. Sony makes a great product but can't figure out how it they thought it would be a good idea to use the camcorder to charge your battery. Anyway worth the money and it don't take up a lot of room in your bag.

The Sony BCTRP is a little bit of magic! Though the picture of the charger may look large-it is no bigger than the battery pack and very light. THe metal sprongs are able to swing in and out of its housing and makes traveling with the unit very comfortable. During my recent vacation to Mexico, with my new Sony Handycam, I took all the cables needed to charge the battery from the camera, However, I never used them once, but relyed only on the Charger. I also suggest you purchase the charger and battery as a pack together for a lower cost on both units. Have a great day Mr. Smith! Rocketeer

great for use with my Sony HD camcorder, I can charge both batteries at one time, I ended up buying another battery through amazon becs the battery my camcorder came with was only for recording 30 mins. Great little charger and perfect to keep in camera bag, nice & small.

The standard charing system in the camera used corded charging. This tied up the camera in one place while the battery was charging. The plug-in charger in very convenient and you could be charging a spare battery while using the camera. Why didn't Sony think of including a battery charger such as this one to begin with?

This is a very nice travel tool. Have used it already and comes handy and prevent having to carry a second battery for camcorder. Delivery was very fast. Original box and product.

If you own a compatible Sony Cam and an extra battery, buy this thing! It is tiny and provides a convenient way to maintain a spare power source at the ready. Can't say much else other than it works great.

Nice compact unit, very light in weight. Fold-into-body plug saves room. Well built little charger. It also has a light on the lower right front that when lit indicates "Charging" when it goes out . your good to go.

The is the best, do not buy anything else. It works far better than others.

Bought this product before going on vacation since I couldn't locate the original adapter for my camera (thanks to my 3yo's facination with cords). I love the smaller design and it charged quickly. It packs up in the camera bag nicely. I won't have to worry about where it went anymore.

This is a very compact charger which you can use to carry for travelling. Price is also reasonable.

This product works as intended and does it flawlessly. It has a simple purpose and that is to charge your mini-dv batteries in a wall outlet. This is a much easier way to charge camera batteries and provides the extra convenience and benefit of ebing able to charge up an additional battery while filming with your other battery (assuming you have two, of course).

Wish I'd known about this product sooner! Just took it to Europe; folded up it fit perfect in the outside pocket of my suitcase. I plugged my camera into it to charge before going to bed each night, and was ready to go the next morning. I highly recommend it!

Sony battery charger is a must-have for the Sony high-definition cam it is a great for charging so hurry up and buy this if you have a movie cam

Much easier to recharge my camcorder batteries with this. Now I dont have to drag along the power cord and what not to charge the batteries. I like it alot. I also like that the prongs fold into the body, it makes it much more space efficient inside my camera bag.

My DCR-HC26 came with an adapter to charge the battery on the camcorder. Bulky and inconvenient. This battery charger is compact and the prongs folk in to neatly store in my camera bag. It also allows me to charge a spare battery while I am using another battery on my camcorder, unlike the AC adapter which can only charge battery I was using while I was tied to a wall outlet.

Big plus, no cord to clutter things up. Very compact and easy to use, would even fit in your shirt pocket. Relatively fast charging time. Can also be used in Europe, with the addition of a small adapter plug.

I like this charger. It is convenient to charge the extra battery while you are recording with the camcorder. Much easier than plugging up the camcorder to the battery charger!!!

This charger is so compact making it so easy to carry in the Sony carrying bag and charge in the outlet. It charges my extra battery in a matter of minutes. I love how the pronges swing out for charging and in when storing away.

This is one of the best things I have bought to go along with my Sony HDD Camcorder. Very convenient to take on vacation and make sure your extra battery (also a must) is charged when the other one runs out. No cords, no plugging into the computer, and it is pretty small and doesn't get in the way if you need to use the other outlet in the wall.

I received this item before the estimated arrival date. Very neat to have as it allows me to recharge my battery without having to leave the camcorder somewhere I don't have to. I travel a lot and use 2 batteries. When one is charging, I am still filming with the other. This charger works perfect.

This wall charger works conveniently for me, as I am always traveling and I often need a portable charger. I also love that the unit plugs right into my wall as compared to the other chargers, which use a cord. It is also less expensive than buying a new battery every time.

This charger is awesome! The battery snaps right in, and the entire thing plugs into the wall. An indicator light lets you know the status of the charge. You can be charging your second battery while continuing to use your camcorder. The best part is that it is so small, it easily fits in the bag with your camcorder.

Its easy to carry around.
With this, you can always have both the batteries charging at the same time.
You don't need the entire Handycam charging station to charge the batteries.

great little charger... no longer need to carry around the brick to charge battereis... and off camera, so that's not tied up to do the charging...

This is a great portable battery charger. It is easy to pop out the battery and plug it in and charge it wherever I am.

I purchased this item so that I wouldn't have to have the camera tied up as a charger. I was impressed with how much quicker this item charged the battery compared to using the camera to recharge the batteries.

I would highly recommend getting the high capacity batter and this charger. This charger is smaller and lighter than the power cable for the sony camcorder. Besides, you can charge one battery while you are using the camcorder. This allows for continuous filming some event. Great for amateur camera man that wants continuous power without being attached to the wall with a power cord.
