Sylvania 6427FF 27" Flat Screen CRT TV

I was hesitant to buy as I did not know much about the brand. Later however, I found that the picture quality is excellent and much better than other great brands I had!!. Any issues: The box looks dumb. Remote is super basic.

I too, recently purchased this tv on sale for $199 from a local Fred Meyer store. I upgraded (in a way) from a 27in Sharp Conventional. This being my first Sylvania, I am thus far impressed with both picture and sound. Picture setup/control is VERY easy and being an amatuer gamer, I like the Game setting. My only complaint is that the volume selection isn't numbered. But that's easy to get used to. Overall, I would recommend this tv to anyone looking to get into an inexpensive flat screen tv!

I purchased this TV on sale for $199.00 at our local Fred Meyer store. The picture is great! I was surprised at how well the color, brightness and contrast is easy to adjust, and crisp the picture is. The remote is VERY basic. No frills what so ever. The ONLY complaint that I have about this TV is the sound. I've heard better from a handheld radio. But to solve that problem, I just use my suround sound system, and I get great sound. So in short... find the TV on sale, and get it. Don't pay full price for it due to the poor sound quality.
