I purchased this CD two days ago. On the first day I would only listen to track # 12 "Never Would Have Made It". By the time day two rolled around, I discovered all of the tracks to be equally EXCELLENT!
I appreciated reading many of the reviews of Marvin Sapp's "Thirsty" CD but with all sincerity, if you found any of this Spirit filled music boring, perhaps now would be a good time to get on your knees and pray. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BORING ABOUT PRAISING AND WORSHIPING THE LORD!!! AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BORING ABOUT THIS CD. I am very happy that I purchased it and know that you will be also!

I continually enjoy listening to this cd. I have shared it with my family and friends. They have enjoyed it as well. I downloaded it to my Zune so that I can carry it with me and listen to it whenever I want to you.

If the rest of the album's not up to scratch I don't care. I only bought it for "Never would have made it".That song is fantastic.

This is one of the most encouraging cds I have purchased in a while. The lyrics are heart felt and I feel a true worship to God when I sing the songs. I purchased 3 to give two away as blessings.

This was a pretty good CD. The title track "Thirsty" was the better of most of the tracks. "Never should have made it" was pretty good, but it was not what I thought it would be.

All I can say is that Marvin Sapp is a true Worshipper! I will be buying more of his CD's.

I have always enjoyed Marvin Sapp. He's not just an artist trying to sell music with a catchy beat. He is a man of God and full time minister of the gospel. I believe that Marvin actually lives what he is singing about. The annoiting that flows through his music and minstry is evident of that. Thise who have a personal walk and relationship with the Father will fully appreciate and identify with the experiences that he portrays in this CD. "Never Could Have Made It Without You" is very inspirational and humbling. For the worshipers out there, and for those who love gospel music for more than just the beat and it's ability to appeal to the flesh, I highly reccomend this CD.

Marvin's smooth gospel vocals make you feel the music. "Never Would Have Made It" really makes you think of the things that you've made it through and how without Jesus you never would have. This song brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it.

I received this cd from my husband for Mother's Day and have to say that this is another spirit-filled project by Marvin Sapp. He has some great music. From his days with Commissioned up to the present, he never ceases to deliver in his music to magnify the Lord! I am getting the dvd next! My only negative is that the cd is too short! This is the continuation of Diary of a Psalmist! I love that DVD!

I recently bought this c.d. This is my first c.d. by Marvin Sapp. I think it's fabulous. I put the c.d. in and let it play all the way through. Each song is so good, it's not necessary to skip any. Some of these songs are also played at my church during prayer. Thirsty, Never Would Have Made It, and Rivers Flow, are wonderful songs to worship to. I highly recommend this c.d. to anyone who needs encouragement.

This is one of the best CD's that Marvin Sapp has recorded to date. Lots of great praise and worship music that will definitely get you in the mood to worship. I recommend this CD to anyone who has ever felt like giving up, just listening to the song "Never Would Have Made It" will make the purchase worthwhile...awesome...

To me this was the best CD from Marvin Sapp. It is ful of great worship and praise music. Never Would Have Made It was my favorite song but as i listened to the CD Thirsty has moved to the number one spot. I like this CD very much. You can tell from this CD that he has gone through some things and God has kept him. This album hits home to alot of folks. The young, old, saints, and sinners can relate to some of the music. Never Would Of Made It is being played on the Hip Hip and R&B stations. That says alot about the inmpact of this CD and gospel music itself.

Marvin - I have been a long time fan of your music and ministry. I appreciate this latest effort and cannot stop listening to it. I know everyone loves Never Would Have Made It but it is clearly not the only blessing on this album - I love it all and thank God for you. Keep up the great work for the Kingdom.

This album is indeed a blessing. Marvin Sapp takes the art into a deep level of worship to where the connection is felt on the inside. Easpecially on tracks like "Worshipper in me" and "Thirsty" it is a desperately intimate cry of emotion that invites the Spirit and presence of God inside. I really enjoy this album and the arrangement of the tracks definitely seem to take the listener on a journey.

This album is wonderful and powerful. You can feel the Spirit moving through every word. The musicality and his vocals are awesome, but the words and the sincerity in worship are what make this album incredible and spiritually fulfilling. My favorites are Worshipper in me, Place of Worship and Rivers Flow, but every song on the album is awesome, and you can't not lift your voice, hands and heart in worship to Jesus Christ!!

I just love this CD, although, I can't seem to stop listening to Never Would Have Made It over and over. This is a must-buy for all gospel music lovers.

I have to say I only hesitantly purchased this because I have yet to hear a CD from Marvin that could surpass "Diary of A Psalmist". However, this comes pretty close to being on par with that one. There is such a rich anointing on many of these selections. He allows the worshipper in him to shine. The selections seem to be part testimony and part worship. While some pieces you'll have to grow into, you'll discover something in here for every one who loves to worship the Father.

This is a very nice cd and I would recommend it to anyone that may be going through a rough time in their life or you just may be have a bad day and you need something to get you over the hump. Marvin Sapp's Thirsty is the cd for you. Because I, "Never Would Have Made It", without letting the "Rivers Flow", I like these two songs the most on the cd but in the end the hold cd is a good one!!!

I love this CD!! I heard Never Would Have Made It numerous of times on the radio I called to ask them who sung that song and went out to buy it. The Walmart I went to didn't even have it their selection on gospel music is very low but just so happen they found one last copy I was so happy! Praise be to God who is the head of my life he has truly blessed Marvin Sapp he has a amazing voice that draws you in to praise God. This CD is a must buy and anything else he comes out with if its the Lord's will I will buy.

Thirsty If you a fan of good praise and worship please add this CD to your collection. Pastor Sapp has a style like none other. He bridges the gap between modern gospel and traditional-type gospel well. You won't be disappointed with this one.

I have bought all of Marvin Sapp CD's to date and this is another good effort. I have to admit that it took me a little while to appreciate all of the other songs on the CD and can undertsand why people might find them a little bland. 'Never would have made it' has obviously BLOWN UP BIG TIME in the states and has created a big hype for the CD here in the UK. My favourite is 'Let the Rivers Flow'. but the CD is definately anointed and a good buy... don't get it twisted...

Thirsty is an added addition to my collection and my favorite is the title cut, Thirsty. My wife has worn out the CD, I rarely get to listen to it.

I read the reviews and thought about this CD a long time before purchasing it seeing as though Marvin's last CD was average. Wow, I waited too long to make this purchase. There is something for everyone on this CD. Song twelve will simply blow you away - "Never Would have Made It". The entire CD is spirit filled and it is a CD where every song lifts you to new heights in worship. This has to be his best CD to date or darned close to it. The music and soft blend of testimony is remarkable.

Dr. Marvin Sapp is at his best on this release. His true emotions emerge on Never Would Have Made It. He revealed recently that he composed this song on the spot a short time after eulogizing his father and then trying to continue his usual duties and routine, while under much stress and grief! Definitely a hit for Dr. Sapp!!

Marvin Sapp is absolutely one of the best male gospel artist in the industry. God will continue to use him as long as he willing to relent to the will of God!!

...still a good CD to have. I might be a bit biased since I am a big Marvin Sapp fan though.

They were some good tracks on it, but no real noteable ones. If I recall, I think the best song on this album is "Never would have made it" but it goes a little awry when he tries to hard and sounds like he is screaming more then singing. Not sure why that wasn't caught before the track was released, but it really takes away from how wonderful the song really is. If you cut that part out of the middle of the track, it's still the bomb song.

The rest of the songs are okay... but gave you the feeling it could have been a bit more like the last song Rivers where it just doesn't get off the ground but has a great melody.

I will keep buying from my man Marvin, but hope for better next time.

I bought this CD for one song, but after listening to all of the CD, it has blessed me over and over again!! This is certainly NOT one of those one song CD's.

Marvin Sapp is truly anointed and this CD settles it. I really enjoy all of the songs on the CD. The songs will take you to a place of worship and praise. I am greatful for this work and would recommend anyone desiring to go to another level in Christ to purchase this CD.

All that I can say is "AMAZING!!!" This truely takes us into a deeper dimension with God. These songs are Pastor Sapps' conversation with God. I was amazed at the magnificent level of annointing, this is better than any of his other releases. I cried and worshipped through the ENTIRE CD. Thank you Pastor Marvin for letting the Lord us share with your conversation with the Lord.

This CD is one that I continue to play every day. "Thirsty" and "Rivers Flow" are currently my favorite!

PASTOR SAPP HAS MOVED INTO A DIFFERENT RELM OF MUSIC. IT APPEARS HE HAS MATURED IN HIS WORSHIP. I WILL NOT GO INTO INDIVIDUAL SONGS, HOWEVER HIS INTENSITY SHOWS AS HIS LOVE FOR GOD IMBRACES THE VERY ESSENCE OF HIS SOUL.

This cd has some good songs on it. But in general, it is rather mediocre. I am a great fan of Rev. Sapp's past work. This was my first Marvin Sapp purchase. I am sure I will probably buy something in the future. But this cd was a disappointment.

Also, this is simply a personal choice, but the minister's attire on the cd cover makes him look like a pimp. When the body of Christ begins to understand our purpose in being in the world, not of the world, will we be the force that God intends us to be in this world.

This item has been a true blessing since I've started listening to it. Great job Pastor Sapp. :-)

I LOVE THIS CD!!!.....Marvin Sapp is anointed and I can listen to this cd from tracks 1-13!!....This was a great buy and I'm grateful to the supplier for not only offering it, but offering it at a great price (smile)...I received the cd in perfect condition....as if I had bought it at the local store.

I bought this cd after hearing "Thirsty" on satellite radio. I love Marvin Sapp, he is a true worship leader and ushers listeners into the presence of God. I especially love "Praise Him In Advance"! That song has ministered to me beyond measure. For anyone who is a "dry" place in your life, get this cd, play it over and over and you will definetely feel refreshed and renewed. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who needs a touch from God. AWESOME PROJECT!!!!

This CD gets to the heart of the matter it ministers to my spirit I listen to it over and over again going deeper into worship. It brings me to my knees and as I listen I worship cry and reflect on the goodness of MY LORD and SAVIOR.

Thirsty is what I am when I listen to this CD. I am thirsty for more from him. Marvin Sapp was wonderful on this CD. Tracks 6, 11, and 12 are my favorites. I have listed to it several times today. It gives your soul and sense of being full of the spirit and a sense of peace. I gave this CD 5 stars because I enjoyed the whole CD.

Only a portion of his testimony is told with the song, Never Would Have Made It. For a little bit more of the testimony, purchase the CD and allow the music to carry you through your next storm!

I have to say that this is the best praise and worship cd I have purchased this year. I have always supported Marvin Sapp because I am a die hard Commissioned fan, but I have only really liked 1 or 2 songs off of each cd. I love everything on this one.

This one was so good I couldn't keep it to myself. I found someone who was having a hard time and I gave it to her. I'll buy another one soon.
