TomTom ONE Carry Case and Strap

Case received was the wriong size and was returned to retailer. Have not received reply as yet.

I ordered this with my new tomtom, and it fits like a glove. It's durable and flexible. I would definitely reccommend this if you have the tomtom 1.

The product was not what I expected. It is too small for anything I have except maybe a small cell phone. But that is not what it was purchased for. it was purchased to cover a 4.2 inch screened portable GPS unit. But the effort & cost to return is not worth it.

The strap is difficult to connect and the case should be a different color, it was only available in black.

This is a great item to carry the Tom Tom from one place to another. Tom Tom fits easily into it; easy to zip up. Handy little case!

This case is sturdy and is exactly as described. It protects my Tom Tom quite well.

Assumed that it fit all TomTom Ones. However, its way too small for the One XL. So I basically wasted my money on case. Wish dimensions had been given or the units that fit into case had been listed.

The carrycase does the job of protecting the TomTom ONE, but the design is poor (it uses a zipper to close the case and the little leather [perhaps leatherette] tab on the zipper broke off when I first tried to use it to close the zipper. A case of this design should not have been designed to use a zipper at all. The handle is a joke and next to worthless. It's held in place with a thin elastized cord that is just waiting to break. Absent a well-designed and constructed case, I am keeping this one, but reluctantly.

This case is exactly what I wanted. It's not big and bulky but protects my GPS.

This is exactly what I had pictured. It is small and fits snuggly around the TomTom One. I really don't have a use for the strap, since I only need it for my car, but I guess it would be helpful for those traveling on foot.

I like the carrying case. It fits snugly and protects the GPS unit very well. When I am not using the GPS, I know it will not get damaged or scratched.

I really like this case. It has just the right firmness to protect my Tom Tom but is not too hard to make it too ridgid for carrying in my pocket or purse. The closure zipper seems well constructed and should last a long time. I am very satisfied.

now the gps systems does not get scratched when not in use perfect item to have if you own a gps system

I received a TomTomOne as a gift but I didn't get anything to protect it in, especially when it's in my glove compartment. This product has a pretty hard outer shell to protect, but that's about it. For the price, I expected more. Shop around a bit more, before you decide on this one, I wish I did.

This case is pretty good. its a little softer then i would like but it is still nice and small and i can keep it in my pocket when i park the car and go to the mall and stuff. Oh and there is enough room in the case for you to include a small Stylus pen( i have round big fingers which makes touch screens annoying)but it has to be positioned right.

Over all a pretty decent case. the strap sucks though i threw it away when i first got it....but really do u plan to wear this thing around your wrist all day or put it in your pocket.

I ordered The case. They sent the wrong one. I sent it back and they still haven't sent the correct one.
They said they were out of the TomTom XL S case.
So I'm out the cash.
Service has sucked.

I purchased this carring case to protect my Tom Tom One when taking it in and out of my car. It fits perfect and it is compact. I'm really happy I bought it. The piece of mind is well worth the price!

I was extremely disappointed in this product. Material is cheap,and it comes with a lanyard with no loop to attach it to. I had to attach the lanyard to the hole in the zipper pull, and it is just awkward to handle.

I received my product quickly and in absolute excellent condition. I would enjoy doing business with this seller again.

While it is annoying that this case needs to be purchased separately, the case itself is of very high quality. The TomTom fits snuggly inside the case and the walls are thick enough to really protect the device.

The product was never received, and according to the seller it was lost in shipping by UPS. I have used UPS for a long time and have never lost a shippment. I have my douts as to the product ever being shipped.

We looked all over town for a case that would protect our Tom Tom One. I finally decided to look online for a case specifically made for it. The case arrived quickly and was perfect. I am very pleased.

The Tom Tom ONE Carry Case was the exact size as my Tom Tom ONE 3rd edition so, it fit perfectly. It wasn't bulky and did not leave unnecessary room in the case. The material of the case is great not that cheap polyester stuff. I would definitely buy another one.

This case is quite adequate but does not appear to be as durable as I originally anticipated. Fits well. Will update later after I've had it awile.

Great fit for my TomTom One 3rd Edition, really snug fit. It should protect the screen from scraps and scraches, which is the reason I bought it. I paid $12.99 at Staples and at this price it is a real value. I would not pay $20.00 for this case. I am happy with my purchase, and the case should protect the unit, if I should drop it.

This case is great. I do not actually own a car but I do rent cars on a regular basis so I am for ever carrying my TomTom around. This case fits the device perfectly and protects it securely. Also it looks cool.

The case works ok. Very necessary for protecting the Tomtom. The price $17 seems a bit high for the quality. Don't get it wet. In a wet environment keep in a food storage baggie.

The TOMTOM carry is clean and simple. You can carry your TomTom and not tempt thieves. The case unlike the leather ones just looks like a small makeup bag. The one thing I did replace was the carry strap. Even though it works I didn't feel it would stand up. It is held on with a thin string.

I purchased the Tom Tom One with maps for south Africa for a planned trip over christmas. The unit arrives with U.s. and Canada maps in memory and it was necessary for me to down load the SA maps into the Tom Tom one.
the girls at the tach support desk at Tom Tom talked me thru this procedure while on the phone with them. I can only say tech support with this company is outstanding. I will update my review when I return from SA and let you know how it performed. Regards.Wayne.

Shoddy workmanship. Zipper misaligned. Tight fit(now that may be good for SOME things, but not this). I bought this on 10/29/07 - on 11/5/07 it was $2.00 less.

Love this case. Fits well in my purse and protects my TomTom very well. Great buy.

Very good, works as advertised (only moviung part is a zipper). Amazed at how quick I recieved it.

The TomTom One does need a carry case, as I suspect all GPS navigation units do, to protect the sensitive touch screen when not in use. The basic carrying case is all you need.

This case fits the TomTom One (which by the way is the most fantastic device available!).

The case itself works fine. It fits the One snugly into it and zips around. It is relatively stiff, so it provides sufficient protection to the unit. The strap on the other hand is terrible. It actually attaches to the One (there is a spot on the corner of the device to attach the strap). Ours broke the second day of use. Luckily our One did not drop.

Summing up - Case good, strap bad.

This case is minimalistic -- yes, size is a nice fit, but it's a lot softer case than you'd expect -- and bullet-proof nylon is better protection given the sensitive touch screen. This also gets weaker over time -- and gets more and more flimsy -- there's just not much to it, other than size. I recommend "The Sherpa" Swissgear, Medium Camera Case by WENGER -- didn't see it on Amazon's site (and they carry a bunch of WENGER products), but they should get it -- it's great for cameras as well, but is perfect for my Tom Tom ONE 3rd Gen -- and isn't flush against the inside edges on the sides, like most -- and doesn't shift at all. I paid $13.99 locally for it and tested about 20 bags/cases in the store until settling on that one. The best case for these is one with hard case and soft, cushion for face -- even one where the face never touched a surface would be perfect -- and for $25 (list price for this unit), you'd think TomTom would do it right. If they put time and effort into this design, I'd spend $30 or more. Also, the Sherpa has a nice belt strap that some people mentioned was a plus.

Hope that's helpful. I think I've spent about 10 hours or more testing Garmin, TomTom's, etc. -- and definitely don't want to risk damage to your unit.

Please note that my goal for the case is to take it with me on trips -- not carry it day to day, from car to car, so that may influence your decision.

This carrying case for Tom Tom One is as advertised. It fits the product well and provides pretty good protection. I mostly use my GPS when I travel (it sure beats the $10 a day and up rental car companies charge for use of their GPS) and the case makes it easy to pack and slip in my carry-on. One problem is that you still need to carry the suction cup holder separately and that takes up additional room. But for what it is, the carry case does a good job.

I had seen this product used before buying and was impressed. More impressed now that I own it. It does everything I expected and more.

I bought this case for my TomTom because I wanted to keep it safe. It is well made and the TomTom fits well - small enough to put in a handbag.

As said previously, fits like a glove but still cushy.. makes it look tiny. Wish it had a belt clip but I knew that ordering it. It's also very attractive.. gray with a logo on it.

The case fits the TomTom really well, I don't see much use for the strap though. The case has a little velcro pocket inside for an extra SD card, but when the card is in it, it catches on the unit when you take it out. Could have been more thought through. Otherwise, it does it's job perfectly, makes it really easy to cary your TomTom with you.

The carrier is a nice and safe enclosure for the Tom Tom, I am sure it is safe when in there.

This is a good case for the TOMTOM ONE. I just purchased a TOMTOM ONE and needed a case to protect it when its not in use. This solves the problem easily. Although $30 with shipping for a case seems a bit expensive, I hope it will perform its job.

I purchased this case for our new tom tom one xl gps and had to return it because our gps would not fit in it because of the extra wide screen. I purchased the deluxe carrying case and it fit perfectly. Maybe this case would fit one of the other Tom Tom gps systems fine.

It has a good fit for my Tomtom One. But I don't think it does it's job on protecting the GPS from damage since the case is thin and not as durable as I'm expecting. But it's cute and handy.

This is a good small carrying case for your tomtom. compact and at a good price.

Not much to write here. Great case, conforms to the Tom Tom, has an SD holder inside of it (at least that's what I use it for) and comes with a wrist strap with the Tom Tom Logo on it.

The color is actually gray and it is quite unattractive. But I am on a budget and it does the job of protecting my TomTom One, so I am keeping it.

This case fits like a glove. Just toss the GPS in the case to protect the screen, then toss it into your bag or pocket for ON THE GO!
