Great basic tie rack
I bought this for my boyfriend so I can't tell you from experience how the product works. However, it came new in a box and looks exactly like the picture. He says it works well and is what he expected. No complaints here, especially for the price.

Purchased this and found it to be just what was needed for my cartoon tie collection. I have 5 in my closet each holding 20 ties and the entire 5 take up little room and work great

A simple piece of plastic....that works just perfectly!!
All that arrives is a small box - two plastic pieces that you snap together, then hang this up and add your ties! It is a super little idea - my husband has lots of ties but had no good storage solution. We looked at those motorized racks but found poor reviews and bulky unattractive racks! As this item had good reviews on Amazon we thought lets try it, for $5 and some change it cannot hurt - and we returned to buy more!
This holds 20 ties with no problem, spins so you can get to the tie you want, and hangs up on a closet rack taking up very little space while offering a simple, yet effective means to hang, organize and access ties.
Its one of those simple little ideas that works so well!

My hubby's favorite Christmas present!!
This tie organizer is FABULOUS!!! My hubby's one request was something that didn't squish or wrinkle his ties. This one lays them out flat *AND* is SO great for smaller closets! It takes up hardly any space! I bought 2 and I can't believe that 40 ties fit in that tiny spot. SUCH a great invention! Very durable, love the spinning capability. Definitely better than any tie rack out there!
Purchased for my husband. He loves it! Now his ties can hang neatly and are readily available in the rare chance he needs one! No more falling off hangers and getting twisted and crammed in drawers.

cheap price, great product
I was a little skeptical of this product, but my boyfriend was able to place all his ties on this small rack. It does not take a lot of space in the closet like his previous tie organizer. It is light weight, and twirls. I would highly recommend buying this rack, it is worth the purchase!!

Very pleased with this purchase
I'm very happy with this tie organizer, it more than adequately suits my needs. After paying only five bucks, I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised. Prior to this I considered a motorized tie rack, but feel that this not only is considerably cheaper, but also saves space. This helps tremendously in organizing your ties!
I gave this product for Christmas gifts to three of the men in my life. They like the product. It's easy to use and can be used in any closet

Very simple and useful
I have so many ties, so I thought of giving it a try. It is very simple, sweet and tidy. A little drawback is that it takes the place of 5 or 6 hangers inside on your cupboard bar. Not a thing if you have a wider cupboard. I will try to post a picture
It works just fine. Doesn't take up much room, ties stay on. Looks cheap when you actually get it, but it's functional. I bought 2 and don't regret it.

Ugly, poorly-designed piece of junk
I needed a new tie and belt organizer that I could hang rather than screwing into the wall, so I ordered three from Amazon: Walnut Tie Rack With Swivel Hook, walnut tie rack shapped like shirt hanger, and Twirl-a-Tie. I already owned a vertical style hanger like the Non-slip Tie & Belt Valet.
My recommendation is for either the walnut rack on swivel hook or the walnut rack shaped like a shirt hanger, depending on your needs.
The Twirl-a-Tie is just a gimmick. Made of ugly plastic, its hooks are not spaced far enough apart, so you can use only every other hook or mash your ties together. Even using only every other hook, the ties are still crushed between the hooks at the inside. I would buy the Twirl-a-Tie only if I knew a small boy who owned some ties and wanted a hanger. It is too bulky to be used for travel.
The walnut tie rack on swivel hook is sturdy and decent-looking, although not something to show off. It will accept 22 ties on its 22 hooks, which are sized and spaced adequately. It is easy to get the ties on and off the hooks, and the hooks are long enough to hang belts on the end in addition to the ties. Drawbacks: (1) it does not swivel easily and must be removed from the closet to pick a tie; (2) it is wide and the hooks push into the clothes on either side; (3) it is long and your ties may dangle onto things if the floor of your closet is stacked high.
The walnut tie rack shaped like a shirt hanger will hold 24 ties. It is nice-looking and sturdy enough... I think. The major drawback is that it is difficult to remove ties from the rack. The rack has to be removed from the closet and some of the moveable hooks re-arranged to get a tie off. Unlike the walnut swivel, this hanger is relatively thin and space-efficient and keeps the ties dangling higher off the closet floor. It cannot accept belts, but the company makes a matching belt rack that I suspect works well.
If your personality is such that you would get annoyed having to move hooks to get at an individual tie, choose the walnut swivel. If you are short on space in your closet, choose the walnut shirt-style hanger.
I previously owned one of the vertical tie organizers like the non-slip. I hated it. It has the drawbacks of all three of the above reviewed: it is ugly and crushes the ties together; it must be removed from the closet to choose a tie and dangles the ties too low; it is difficult to get at the ties on the hanger. You will regret buying it.

Great tie organizer for the price
I bought this for my boyfriend and I like it more than him. It it so easy to see all of the ties and now he doesn't leave the ties lying around the bedroom. I would recommend this over an expensive, electronic tie-rack. I would even buy two of these instead of one expensive organizer.

Simple little gadget that does the job
The electric tie rack that I had recently broke because I was trying to find a spot in our relatively small closet so my wife wouldn't run into it. The mounting bracket broke when I tried to move it. I came across these and thought what the heck. I ordered 4 of them and I like them so well I just ordered 2 more. I have a ton of ties (enough Christmas ones that I can go from Thanksgiving through Christmas without repeating) and this product organizes them just fine.

Great organizer for ties
The Twirl-a-Tie, works as advertised. The ties hang neatly and are easily accessible. Very satisfied with this item.
Product is very lightweight and at first it seemed that it would be flimsy, but actually it's working very nicely.
Very good, good material. A real space saver. Be smart- buy 2!

Best tie rack ever!
My husbands millions of ties drove me nuts. I wanted to purchase a tie holder and searched online. I was afraid because of the low price.... but I couldn't be happier! If you need to organize some ties this is the best product, at a great price, to get the job done!

The Best Tie Rack At Any Price
I bought this for my husband who I forced to take a day job after a decade as a struggling artist. As an artist, he had accumulated a very nice collection of beautiful ties. Now he would have a chance to wear them on a daily basis. He is very discerning, especially when it comes to home organizing items. He loves this tie rack because: It holds 20 ties neatly and compactly in our limited New York apartment closet space; it is designed to work well under a full load -- still spinning nicely when full; you can see all the ties at the same time to choose one. He went and bought a second one on his own because he has bought more ties.
Great product. Keeps all my ties in order and easily accessible in a compact space. Will definately be buying another one as my tie-collection grows.

Works as advertised, but it's wider than I expected
When I first pulled this thing out of the box (it comes in two pieces that you must snap together), I wondered if I had just wasted $5. It's made of the same type of plastic that many clothes hangers use and probably costs all of $0.10 to produce. But I snapped the pieces together, loaded the rack completely full of ties, and darn if it doesn't do the job just fine.
I disagree with the reviewer who gave this one star. Fully loaded, it is solid and rotates fine to help you access any of your ties. It is not imbalanced fully loaded, although if you only had a few ties to hang on it, I think you would need to space them out to keep the rack from tipping.
One caveat: This rack is a bit wide as it hangs in your closet. I didn't quite realize just how wide it would be from looking at the picture. I have another type of tie rack that looks like a clothes hanger and holds the ties beneath it in a straight row on tiny hangers. The Twirl-a-Tie is at least twice as wide as that one. I measured the diameter, and the Twirl-a-Tie is 4 1/4" wide. It takes up about as much space as two or three suits hanging next to each other. If closet space is at a premium for you, you might want to consider a narrower type of rack. Also, if this rack is crammed into a stuffed closet, the clothes on either side will impede the rack's ability to rotate the ties around. On the plus side, however, it's easier for me to see and access my ties with the Twirl-a-Tie than with my other rack. The width issue aside, the Twirl-a-Tie is a good value and works as advertised.
The hook is filmsy. Hanging a few ties will make it imbalancing because the hook is cheapy made. Putting 20 ties all on it and made it over loaded. Conclusively, it is a piece of junk.

Sans Bells And Whistles But A Gem
Provides a place to hang your ties while eliminating the fear of them wrinkling. Like it because it also provides a neat, compact space where all of your ties can be viewed all at once which makes tie selection easier.
A no-frills smart option at a great price.

Exactly what I was looking for
All I needed was a simple item to hold my ties and not take up space. Assembly was a snap, literally. Looks good and keeps things organized for a small price. Couldn't ask for more.

Twirl-a-Tie is worth it.
In the past, I have bought my husband numerous tie racks including electronic products that eventually broke down. He feels the Twirl-a-Tie is the best. He now has 4.
For the cost, this was a great purchase for me. It takes up very little room, but holds all my ties with a little left over.
Make sure you balance it out or it will be off kilter
I had a fancy battery operated tie holder that cost me more than $30. Lasted me less than 6 months before the rotating belt snapped. The second had a motor malfunction. Moreover, they have to be fixed with screws and cannot be moved. The ties could slip and fall down. Overall a technological disaster.
This product is simple but it works superbly. No motor no battery no belt. The holders are spaced close enough for the ties themselves to grip onto each other and not slide down. I love it.

Perfect tie organizer!
My husband has tried several types of tie organizers. This one is the best by far AND the least expensive! The ties do not slide off and it spins easily.
I bought this for my husband. We both love it!. He wouldn't use the previous tie hanger he had as it was not easy to place ties on the hanger. We both love this one as it is easy to use and he actually puts his ties away instead of placing them on random door knobs LOL.
It did exactly what it was supposed to do namely hold ties for a cheap price. Excellent value, great product!!!
For $5 it is definitely worth the price...it holds 20-25 ties and works perfectly. This is great if you don't want to spend the money on the electric tie machines...the only issue is whether or not it is worth the $5 or so in shipping...if you can get to a store to purchase, I would do so and save yourself the shipping cost. Overall, great value and a simple, but effective product.
