[+] 6.0 Poor battery life
Good looking phone. Easy to clean. Decent sound quality.
But the phone doesn't have a solid feel in the hand, the plastic makes a sqeeky noice which interferes with the call. Also the battery died in six months. Switching to speaker mode and back again is not very intutive, sometime disconnects the call.

[+] 10.0 Great Bargin
This phone is just what I was looking for. It always works and has no issues. Highly recommended.

[+] 2.0 Worked great, for a while
We have the set with 3 phones, 2 charging bases and the answering machine base. This phone has fairly good range and does not interfere with the wifi network set up in the house. The reason that I am giving it such a lousy review... I have spent as much on replacement batteries that I could have bought a different set of phones at this point. The phones will die if you are in the middle of a call and hit the speaker phone button. The phones will die in the middle of conversations because the batteries that indicate they are fully charged, are obviously not fully charged. Replacement batteries do not work any better than the ones that come with the phone. I replaced my SONY phone with these, and they have been terrible. I would not buy another phone from this manufacturer.

[+] 2.0 speaker issues, battery issues, not worth it
The speaker for the speakerphone is nice and loud, but every once in a while it fades in and out. After a year, the battery is only lasting 20 minutes before the phone dies.

[+] 4.0 More on the battery
What else to say here except i've had the same problem. Vtech has replaced the phone twice and its the same issue. I get about 1 hr of talk time on a full charge. if the phone has been off hook for an hour or so, I get half that. Standby, I get about 4 hrs. Its too bad, because the speaker phone and features are great. I do wish it was expandable and wish it had a headset jack too. The sound is better than my Motorola, but the Motorola gives me phenomenal talk time and standby.

[+] 8.0 Clear sugnal...
No real complaints. Good battery life; clear signal - no interference even around other electronics and multiple WiFi networks.

Lacks a headphone jack to allow use of a headset = not good.

Also despite programming names/numbers into the phone; that info isn't shown for the caller ID - instead it shows the normal phone company data. Not a deal breaker, but annoying.

All-in-all = good product & value.

[+] 2.0 HORRIBLE BATTERY ISSUES!!
I have to agree with the other reviewers here. I love the phone itself. It's a great phone, great features, looks cool but don't try actaully having a conversation on it. You can complete one call and then it will die and I am a person who keeps the phone on the charger when not in use (which shouldn't be a requirement for a cordless phone hence the reason it's cordless) but even with that if the call is too long the phone will die. The only problem is that I no longer have the receipt and I just plain like the looks of the phone so I'm heading to RadioShack in hopes that a replacement battery will do the trick. Don't buy this phone though unless you are ok with having to get replacement batteries.

[+] 2.0 Short battery life!
I bought this phone sometime in October or November of 2007 because it was cool looking & I needed a new phone. I have had issues with the battery since January. The charge doesnt last more then 4.5 hours. Dont buy this phone unless you want to deal with replacing it or the batteries within 2 months!

[+] 10.0 Liked the VTech DECT 6,.0 well enough to buy four Phones
A nice, convenient, compact phone. Caller ID. Shows missed calls and their number. Phone works great. Very long battery life between charges. Delivered on time, and unit works as promised.

[+] 8.0 Pretty good phone
My Fiance bought me this phone for Christmas. I love it. I have no problems with this phone. I like the fact that it's a speaker phone too. Big Plus there. I also like that it has a red light that flashes that lets me know that I have a message.

The only thing that I don't like is that you can't use a headset with this phone. I would've given it 5 stars but because of this very important feature that's missing I had to give it 4 stars.

Great phone though!!!

[+] 10.0 GREAT PHONE!!!!!
I was definitely afraid of purchasing a vtech phone after the old 2.4 ghz model I bought about 5 years back. This phone has given me a whole new view of this great company, the sound clarity is incredible through my cable provider's digital phone service and the speaker is loud and clear. I love the small compact size of the handset and its great design because I can bring the phone anywhere and talk and still have two hands to work with. I find the battery life is more than adequate probably because I am used to making calls on my cell phone. There is a very simple solution to keep the battery charged...put the phone on the charger when you aren't using it! I know this may sound crazy but it actually works! I have no use for an additional handset in another room because I live in a 2 bedroom appartement with my girlfriend, but if you are looking for a phone with multi phone capability, why would you buy this one in the first place. Overall a great product at a really good price! 10 out of 10! I may live in beans town but don't let that fool you..tricolore jusq'au bout! GO HABS GO!!!
