I think that everybody that buy this game is only for the wiimote, but is fun to play it for a while....

Well worth it if you don't have four Wii Remotes already
Do you like Wii Sports? If so, you'll like this game (actually, a collection of games) too. Also, you get a Wii Remote along with the package. So basically you are buying another bunch of multiplayer Wii games and a Wii Remote. If that's what you want, this game is for you.
My favorite games:
- Laser Hockey
- Tank Battles
- Pool (9-ball)
- The shooting game

Medicore Games--You Really Buy this for the WiiMote
WiiPlay feels more like a demo package for the WiiMote than the WiiSports game included in the Wii box--which is pretty demo-ish. Some of the games on WiiPlay are cute, but our experience was that they were only fun for a short period of time. Our favorite was the target shooting game--kids and adults both enjoyed shooting at the targets in a throwback to the classic Nintendo Duck Hunt game--and the game gets really crazy and fun at the end when your surprise visitors show up.
I gave this game four stars though, because its a great deal with the included WiiMote. A WiiMote is typically $39, so at $49, WiiPlay is basically a $10 game added on to an additional remote. You'll definitely want four remotes, so why not get a bonus game while you're at it? For that reason, I would recommend WiiPlay to anyone buying a new Wii, or as an add on to people looking to buy extra WiiMotes.
Games are fun, more fun when two people play. Getting extra remote is a bonus as well as they are just as expensive as getting buying the remote separately and getting the game free. Games fun for most ages.
We bought this game after we got our Wii. The MAJOR incentive is that it comes with the Wii remote. And how much does the remote itself go for? It's like $30 or something like that? So, the game itself is only about $15.
Having said that, don't expect that you're paying $45 for a game. The cost mostly comes from the remote.
It's a good "starter" game, since there are several different types of games - shooting, table tennis, fishing, pool, etc. It's pretty kid-friendly and doesn't take any genius to learn how to play the games. It's the type of game where you can play for just a few minutes or for hours.
I give it 3 stars because it's not not even close to being a mind-blowing game, but it's decent. You don't have to be a video game junkie. I think that's what makes this game great for the whole family - mom, dad, little sister, big brother, grandma and grandpa.
I would say the tank game may be worth $5 or $10 and the others combined about $5 or $10. So it's worth the $10 more then the controller alone, but barely. They probably could not sell this game on its own. Do expect much and you will not be disappointed.

Ok for the $10 over the remote price
The games initially have to be played in sequence to "unlock" them all. An adult with competent game play skills can do it in maybe 30 minutes.
The games are ok, short but ok. They are almost like teaser games for something larger. My kid enjoys them and that is all that mattered to me, it is her Wii.
What I bought was a used version of the product for about a $12 savings and the remote I got from my seller was broken.

I like the games that it comes with for the price. BUT, I think that Wii Sport's games are more fun.

Wii Play: Great Combo Deal
What's nice about Wii Play is that it's a combo package: one Wii Remote and the actual Wii Play game.
The game is intended for practice to get used to the Wiimote. Although some games don't make sense (Pose Mii game, in which you have to line up your Mii in falling bubbles), most are very fun. In my opinion, the Shooting Range and Tanks are the best of the mini games.
If you're going to buy another Wiimote anyway, pick up the Wii Play package; it'll add a little more fun to your console.

Best (and last) Really Good Deal
The games that come bundled with the remote are fun and really help with your control of the remote. That aside, the fact that the game comes bundled with a remote for just $10 more makes it the best deal I have seen for ANYTHING with the Wii.
I will say this, the game is worth purchasing to get the other controller for about $10.00. Other than that, the games are Okay! I'm sure the games are great for small children, but for us old grown-ups, the games are quite boring! I like these games better than the ones on Game Party, but cannot say too much more! Again, for the controller and to have another game for your Wii, just in case young children come to your house, it's worth the purchase.
The truth is its fun. The only bad thing is you can only play with 2 people, I mean come on its suppose to be a party game.

It is a fun way to exercise. It is not often than one can combine exercise with a video game but this does both quite well.

Better to just buy the remote...
These games are okay for small children, but older kids and adults are not likely to play these more than once or twice. These games do not have the challenge and appeal of other Wii games. I bought Wii Play because I wanted the extra remote and thought it made sense to get Wii Play for only $10. If I had it to do over again, I would purchase the remote separately and use the $10 I saved to buy Wii Fit or one of the other great Wii games.
It's not as much fun as other games, but I'm glad I purchased it, plus it came with a free remote.
this wii game is not a necessity, but it is a great way to get a new game and a remote at the same time, the games are very elementary.

Just Buy the Wiimote
This pack of games would not have been impressive in 1980. The cow racing is amusing for about 5 minutes and the rest are terrible. Don't get talked into this unless you want to use the game disc as a mini-frisbee; Just buy the wiimote by itself and buy a pizza with the extra $10 (with some extra toppings.)

Extra Wiimote - great; game, not so much
This is worth getting for the extra wiimote, given that it is not that much more in price than getting the wiimote by itself.
But keep in mind that the games that come with it are just so-so.
In my mind, it's barely worth the extra $10 for the game

If your WII came with one controller you NEED the second controller to take full advantage of the system. Some of the additional games that come with the extra controller are okay too.

Mini Games With Wii Remote
We really enjoyed the Wii Play (with Wii Remote). The games are fairly simple, but are fun little Mini Games. The games include:
Shooting Range - Fun, but aiming with the Wii Remote can be difficult (we recommend using Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training)
Find Mii - Very fun, find and select the Mii described in the question at the start of the game
Table Tennis - A little hard to master, not the best game in the lot
Pose Mii - Just an OK game, change the Mii pose using the controller and drag the Mii onto a matching shape before it falls to the bottom of the screen
Laser Hockey - Fun but hard to master, like air hockey but control can be difficult to master
Billiards - Fun but EXTREAMLY hard to master, this pool game uses the Wii motion controls
Fishing - An OK game, a bit hard to get the timming right to master fishing with the Wii Remote
Charge! - This is a VERY FUN game where you mount your trusty racing cow and knock down scarecrows
Tanks! - This is the best game in the set, a little hard to master but lots of fun
Overall, this is a great pack to buy if you are going to get an extra Wii Remote. The games are mostly fun and teach the basic Wii Controls.
Recommended!

Does not include the Wii NuChuck
This review is written for parents who are buying this for their kids:
Please note that this package does not include all the controllers you need to add a second player for most Wii games. The Wii Nunchuck is necessary for roughly 75% of the games available for the Wii. Even one of the games in Wii Play, the Tank game, requires you to have a Wii Nunchuck for all players... which means if you only bought this package in order to add a 2nd player you would still not have all the controllers you need for two people to play it. They probably didn't add the NunChuck to this package because it would've raised the price to $70. Beyond that, I have no complaints about the Wii Play games themselves, they are simple and fun and they make for a nice bonus. However, please be advised that you will need to also buy a Wii NunChuck if you are buying this in order to let your child play most of the games on his Wii with a friend.
If you already knew this... please ask yourself if other Amazon users who may find this review helpful and vote accordingly.

Games just ok, but only $10 with the remote
The 9 games are just average. A few, like the ones involving your "Mii" are simplistic and really geared towards small children. The ping-pong game is a bit awkward to use. But, the fact that it comes with the remote makes it worth the $49.99 cost as that's only $10 more than the remote by itself.
I sense this will be our least used game.
i purchased this for the remote not the games! couple of them are not bad though!
I honestly thought, how could it be SO bad to justify saving the $10. Then I opened the box, and, after one play through, realized that I will never play this game again. It is so, so much worse than Wii Sports, so don't get your hopes up. Honestly, buy just a regular controller, and save your $10 for something else.

work only with NTSC mode
I have tried to run it in my Wii console which i have purchased from Dubai, but it did not work,
I discovered that there are 2 models of WII, one supports NTSC and the other is not (which i have).
Like other said the remote is the main attraction. Given that all other games cost about $50, there are a decent set of games in this for $10. Can't complain much.
Some of the games are goofy but fun, like the cow race. Others are regular sport like the shooting and pool. Overall worth it when you get it with the Wii remote package.Wii Play with Wii Remote

Another lame game for the Wii...
The Wii is conceptually a fun and unique idea, and it is fun and unique to play...for awhile.
However, 95% of the Wii software is janky. Have you seen the titles?? Hannah Frickin' Montanna?? You've got to be kidding me! Petz?? BARF!! The 10 games on Wii play are mostly worthless, those that are kinda fun get real old real quick.
If you've already purchased the Wii, save your $10 and just buy another Wii remote, if you need another Wii remote. Hopefully we'll see some decent titles soon!
If you haven't bought a Wii yet, don't. Just wait for some better titles to come out.

Good bargain for games and remote. Most games become monotinous because fields never vary or they are very simlistic. Enjoy the billards.
The product didn't work. I got one at Wal Mart for more money and it works great.

Need another Wii controller?
Wii Play in this form comes bundled with a Wii remote. There is a reason for this - Wii Play is not quite a stand-alone game. In fact, it feels like a primer on how to use your Wii remote, in the form of nine various mini-games. As a plus, the variety is good. Only a few have replay value past a few run-throughs. If you are relatively new to Wii, and need another remote anyways, this is a good value. Otherwise, skip.

Fun the First Few Times
After a few times playing these games, they get pretty boring. They're easy and are great for younger people.
Pros:
- $10 more for a game, what's not to like. The game basically teaches you the different motions of the Wiimote, but the games are fun - the cow game is insane.
Cons:
- None really, it's a Wiimote with a $10 game. Just buy it already.

Some Good Some Bad
The best thing about this game is the free Wii remote. I bought this game over a month ago and haven't played it in over two weeks. Just not enough to keep me interested. The best game is Shooting Range and the worst is Laser Hockey. And the Charge game is pretty funny. This would be a good game just for kids. It's an easy enough game to learn.

Yes, it's not the hottest set of Wii games. But you get the game basically free with the remote and I have to say, the kids seem to really enjoy it. They've played all the simple games in this set and keep going back to it, even over the sports and carnival games. Totally worth the money.

product as described
the games really teach you all that the Wii remote can do. Loads of fun
We got the Wii Play for our 6 yr. old son's birthday. We also wanted a 2nd remote so this worked well. The kids have fun with all the games.
For an adult, they aren't as exciting as other Wii games but still fun. My favorites are the cow racing, the shooting range, laser hockey and fishing. Our least favorites are finding Mii and pose Mii.
I like that these don't take as much time. They're great when you have just a little time to play and you don't want anything too intense.
Overall a lot of fun!
